AN: The most anticipated Servant to appear is here. I know many would ask if Dante Alighieri would make an appearance, but it would be a while. Another topic I want to hear your opinion on: Should I make separate stories for the Hogwarts Years, or should I continue writing on this story?
Ch 113 The First Step to Healing
Britian, 12 Grimmauld Place
Two Hours went by, and Sirius was at his wits end with the endless pages of useless Pages. "GAH! No matter how many Books I've gone through, there's nothing!" He exclaims, frustrated at how many Books he'd gone through.
Remus flipped through the Pages of the Book he had in Hand, and he heard his Friend yelling in frustration. He turns to Sirius, consulting him and trying to calm him down. "Sirius, calm down. Nothing will come to you if you are frustrated." The Werewolf stated, understanding him.
"I know Remus! But each Book I picked up is just about Dark Arts!" The shaggy-haired Wizard looks up at Remus, standing on the Second Floor of the Black Family Library. He looks back at the Book, tossing it away. "To think my Family has so much Knowledge kept away from other Wizarding Families, and they haven't have any information on what we're looking for!" He said in a huff,
Raikou returned to the Library after a quick trip to the Kitchen. "Now, now, Black-san, you've been reading for Hours." The Berserker walked towards the Table, laying out some Tea and some Cookies she found. "I have made use of your Family's Kitchen and made some Cookies and Tea." She offered the Two Wizards beverages.
Remus closes the Book in his Hands, smelling the Baked Goods the Leader of the Genji Clan prepared. He walked over to where Raikou placed the refreshments that were being served.
The Werewolf went over to the Table, turning to Caster of Germania and Sirius, "Why don't you Two come and take a short break from reading?" Remus offered to the Two, wanting them to rest.
The black-haired Caster turns around from the Shelf, answering the Werewolf. "The Two of you can partake in the refreshments Berserker has prepared." She said, looking through the pages at a faster rate. "We Servants aren't required to eat like Humans, we receive it from our Magical Energy from our master."
"Come now, Caster. I'm aware you're new to Chaldea, but one must enjoy Food whenever you get the chance," Raikou stated, always trying to have other Servants enjoy Food. The Berserker looks at Sirius; she can forgo the Caster refusing to eat, but her master's Father. "That goes for you, Black-san. You're still Human and need your nourishment."
Sirius closed the Book he had in his Hand. "I appreciate you caring for our well-being, but I have to find-" The shaggy-haired Wizard froze when Raikou drew her Blade, stabbing the tip into the Wall. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL YOU DID THAT FOR!?" He reacted to the Berserker's action,
Remus nearly dropped the Teacup on the Floor when Raikou suddenly struck the Wall. "Are you denying Mother's hard work in ensuring that you're all well-fed after your hard work?" The Leader of the Genji Clan asked with a terrifying smile. "Master may have a stubborn streak, but he knows when to take a break when needed." She said, telling Sirius off like a Mother scolding her Son.
Sirius flinched, a chill racing down his Spine. Raikou's manner of speaking was eerily similar to Ushi Gozen, the one he had encountered in Seraphix. Now that he peered closer to the Berserker, the resemblance to the Avenger was unmistakable. "You are Ushi Gozen. What was Ritsuka thinking, sending you with us?" He complained, fully aware of her formidable status as a Firsthand.
"Hmm?" Remus raised a brow, not sure what or who Ushi Gozen was.
Caster of Germania placed down her Book, looking at the Two as Sirius discovered Raikou's True Name. She was about to fix the situation when one Book fell from the Shelf; curiosity got to her, and picked it up.
The purple-haired Berserker merely smiled, answering her master's Father's question. "Hmm-hmm," Raikou giggles, giving Sirius the chills. "I see you met my Avenger self, but no. I am not Ushi Gozen, I'm actually Minamoto-no-Raikou, the Leader of the Genji Clan." She introduced herself properly to Sirius.
"Ushi Gozen is the Demonic Blood running through my veins. When I'm like this, I'm not as crazy for Blood," Raikou said, moving from her Avenger self to Sirius. "Basically, I'm more of the Motherly type to everyone, including master."
"Motherly type to Ritsuka?" Sirius asked, getting a bit defensive regarding his Son's Mother. "You're aware that Akari is Ritsuka's Mother, right? I know you're Minamoto-no-Raikou, but don't forget-"
The violet-haired Berserker raised her Hands gently, sensing she had touched upon a delicate subject. "Ara, Black-san, please forgive me. I truly didn't mean to overstep," Raikou said softly, her voice steady yet compassionate. "I completely understand that Akari-san is master's Mother, and I have great respect for the Love and care she has given in raising such a remarkable young Man like master." She expressed this in a sincere tone, hoping to convey her understanding and respect.
"Please understand that master went through experiences that only a Mother can truly comfort him through," Raikou says to the shaggy-haired Wizard with warmth in her voice. "I want to reassure you that we don't wish to take master away from his Family. It's just that, as you know, Time continues to move forward for us while everywhere else froze. Because of this, we Servants have taken it upon ourselves to provide the parental care he needs during his Journey. I hope you can see it's from a place of love and understanding." She said, wanting to assure Sirius they all have Ritsuka's best interest in mind.
Sirius was aware of the Quantum Timelock that the World was on, leaving Chaldea the only place where Time went on as usual. He thought hard and well about what Raikou had said and pondered how he could've helped Ritsuka then.
Then he'd realized that it would be impossible regardless if he was freed or not. Because if Sirius remained free, then he would've stayed with Akari, and the Timelock would affect him no matter what. "I-I see your point," Sirius said, calming down a bit. "I guess the Years locked away and finding out things changed when coming out has really made me defensive."
Everyone listened to the former Convict speak, feeling terrible for how he acted. "I just want the best for Ritsuka and Akari, I want things to go as smoothly as they can. But I guess that can't happen." He chuckles, slowly sitting back down on the Floor.
Raikou approached Sirius, seeing that he has endured a lot during these Years separated from his loved Ones. She sat back down, consulting him like she does to her master whenever he's down. "I know you want the best for Ritsuka, but don't forget. Ritsuka has experienced a lot and can handle things on his own." The Berserker stated, placing her Hand on Sirius's Shoulders.
"But you forget, if you want the best for someone. You have to remember, you can't help them without helping yourself First." Raikou stated, knowing that Sirius had some baggage he was carrying on his own. With his quest to restore Akari's Health and other things. "Don't focus too much on what you can do for them right away; take it slowly and given Time. Things will get better, I know it will." The Berserker said, having experienced this talk plenty of Times before.
Sirius couldn't help but laugh at Raikou, giving him Life advice where, in History, she's a well-known Samurai fighting in Wars. "For someone who is known for being ruthless and a Warrior, you are completely different from what History depicts of you."
Raikou couldn't help but giggle at the little comment. "Master said that to me when we First met, Black-san. I do find it endearing that such a young Boy is knowledgeable of my Legend." The Berserker clapped her Hands, standing up from the ground. "Now that we've talked, why don't you take that break? I did my best making the Tea."
"Sure, why not. I do feel a bit better…" Suddenly his Stomach growled, indicating that he was a bit hungry.
Remus laughed, taking one Cookie from the plate. "And hungry, you can't lie when your Stomach is growling like that," The Werewolf commented.
Sirius scuffs, rolling his Eyes at his Friend. "Shut up, Remus." He chuckles, walking over to the Table before looking at the purple-haired Berserker. "Oh, Raikou, if you don't mind, can you remove your Katana from the Wall? I would appreciate it." He asked,
"Oh, of course. My sincerest apologies, Black-san," Raikou walks over to her Blade embedded into the Wall. As the Berserker pulled it out, it broke a chunk of Wooden from the Wall, revealing a hollow inside. "Oops…hmm?" She raised a brow, spotting something inside, something emitting a Dark Aura,
Standing at the Table, Sirius finally took some Cookies Raikou made and took a bite of it. His Eyes widen at the taste, finding them delicious. "Oh Merlin, this tastes good!" He commented,
The Werewolf smirks, having One Cookie in his Hand. "See? Now you're grateful we were able to get you to eat?" He asked Sirius, biting the Cookie.
"Enjoying your refreshments, you Two?" Caster of Germania's Heels clicks on the Wooden Floor, making the Two Wizards gaze at him.
The Two Wizards looked at the black-haired Caster, walking over to the table. "What do you got there, Caster?" Remus asked, curious about the Book.
"Wait," Sirius quickly understood what Caster of Germania was holding. "You don't mean you found-"
"Yes, I found the Book you have been looking for, Sirius." Caster of Germania opened the Book she had on Memory Magic on the Table, showing the Page on how to restore a Person's Memories. "This Book contains all sorts of Memory Charms, I may be knowledgeable in Magic; however this is advance for my Time. In any case, what the Book has on restoring Memory is a Potion called Baruffio's Brain Elixir." She suggested the First option.
Remus took the Book from the black-haired Servant, reading a bit. "I'm not too sure, from what I read, it only allows a few Months of Memories back to the Person." The Werewolf commented, seeing it was in the right direction. However, what they're looking for is different from what the Potion provides.
"It's a start, what else does it say?" Sirius asked, getting interested in what the Book provided.
"From what read is something rare, a Powdered Dragon Claw from a Dragon…though, a Dragon Claw from a Pureblooded Dragon can be more effective in this Potion…" Caster of Germania commented, fully aware of the state of the Dragon species. "But that's a rarity in its own right."
Sirius looks at the Servant, confused with what the Caster said. "What do you mean? There's a Nest in France where there's an abundance of them there." The shaggy-haired Wizard commented.
The Caster of Germania looked at the two Wizards and recognized their lack of understanding of True Dragons. "The Creatures in the Nest located in France are not True Dragons; rather, they are Subspecies thereof. In fact, all Entities you have previously regarded as Dragons are, in reality, Wyverns," The black-haired Caster articulates to the two Wizards. "Dragons are considered to have Four-Limbed Phantasmals with Two Pairs of Wings. However, a majority of them went to the Reverse Side of the World when the Age of Fairies ended, transitioning to the Age of Man."
"S-So, it's another impossible task…" Sirius said, almost giving up on their Quest to Cure Akari Fujimaru. "Where in the World can we find a Pureblooded Dragon?" He asked,
"Well, there's one place where we can find a Pureblooded Dragon." Caster of Germania commented, having the opportunity to look around and gaining information from her master.
"Really? Where can we find a Pureblooded Dragon in this Day and Age?" Remus asked the Caster Servant, wondering where one could be.
"Isn't it obvious?" Raikou returned to the group, holding something in her Hand. "Chaldea has a plethora of Dragon-like Servants roaming around. But if you want a Pureblood Dragon, then Fairy Knight Lancelot might be the best choice." She suggested to the group.
Sirius slapped his forehead, not realizing that Chaldea might have the ingredients they needed for the Potion. "Of course, why haven't I thought of that!"
Remus chuckles, crossing his Arms at the group. "Then we better get back to where Ritsuka is. If it comes to his Family, he is willing to provide us with anything we need." The Werewolf stated, sharing the same excitement as his Friend.
Caster of Germania smiles at the Two Wizards before shifting to Raikou. "Berserker, what do you have there?" The black-haired Servant asked, only to have Raikou singling her to speak in private.
Once they separated from Sirius and Remus, both Servants discussed what the other found.
"When pulling out my Katana from the Wall, I made a hole. However, the inside of the hole has irked me," The purple-haired Berserker said, showing the Item she found.
It was an octagonal silver Locket with an image of a Serpent at the center of it.
Caster of Germania flinched, realizing what Raikou has in her Hand. "That is…" She paused, sensing a Dark Aura coming from the Locket. "Berserker, keep that Locket on you. No matter what, we have to hand it to a Death-related Servant,"
Raikou nodded, keeping the Locket on Hand before hearing something coming to them. "GGAAAAAAAHHH! GIVE KREACHER THAT LOCKET, YOU FIFLTHY MUDBLOOD!" The Black Family House Elf suddenly appeared, charging at the Leader of the Genji Clan.
However, with her other Hand, Raikou held the House Elf easily. But to say the least, Kreacher didn't stop flailing around in the Air. "You filthy Mudblood, Blood Traitors, let go of Kreacher! Return master Regulus's Locket!"
The amount of shouting and flailing Kreacher is making echo throughout the Household. This caught the attention of Sirius and Remus. "What is going on out here?" Sirius asked, walking out of his Family's Library, only to see Raikou holding his Family's House Elf.
"R-Raikou, why are you holding Kreacher like that?" Remus asked the Berserker Servant, both Wizards were curious about what was happening.
Atlantic Defense Station, Adele Island
Harry continued to walk down the Pavement, heading to the Building that resembled a Ship that went topside. Fou was still missing, though currently with him was the Ruler Pope Johanna and the Rider Constantine XI.
To say the least, he was enjoying the Time he was spending with the Two Servants. He knew that the Two were once Leaders of the Restoration Realm during the Traum Singularity, but to a further extent.
After being told the purpose of the Restoration Realm, reinstating Johanna into History as real rather than Fiction. Mostly, that was from Constantine's reason why he rebelled against Proper Human History,
For Johanna, she did harbor some resentment for being regarded as mere Fiction. However, she came to terms with her being Fictional. What she learnt, even though she is Fictional, is the fact that Humanity Summons her indicates that there are still People who still believed in her.
As long as some People still believe that she's real, then that's enough for her to lend her Aid to Humanity/Chaldea.
After all the seriousness on how both Johanna and Constantine came to Chaldea. The conversation became more casual,
"Young master, how do like Chaldea so far?" Johanna asked, wanting to ask him that since they First met in France. But at that Time, she could tell Harry was a bit overwhelmed by discovering the Truth of Servants and the purpose of Chaldea.
The young Boy thought long and hard on the question the Pope asked. He smiles, thinking of the experience he had learning about Chaldea. "Despite experiencing the Trials from the Anti-Succession Faction Servants. I learnt a lot from them, like what to do when a Singularity, what to expect from Servants who are your Enemies, the Mental Struggles in becoming a master." Harry said confidently, having the Lessons in Mind from Servants he'd met.
"I know I have a lot to learn still in becoming a master. And the task of it is daunting," Harry admits to the Servants he's more comfortable with. "But as long as I can walk and move forward, I'm not going to give up."
The Byzantine Emperor couldn't help but chuckle at what Harry said. "Heh, you really are your Father's Son." Constantine XI commented, seeing how Harry is a lot like his Father. "You've adopted your Father's way of thinking, young Lord."
Harry looked at the black-haired Emperor, not sure what he meant. "I mean, Dad is someone I admire; he knows what to do and can think of ways out of a situation." He said, feeling like he has a lot to work on to be on his Father's level.
"What about your Mother, young Lord? Do you admire her as well?" Johanna asked, hearing how Harry admired their master.
"Of course! She is strong and kind! How can I not admire her?" Harry asked, showing how much respect and admiration he had for his Parents. "I want to be exactly like them when I'm Older!" He stated as they approached the Building.
The Two Servants smile, hearing what the young Boy said. Harry saw the smiles on both Johanna and Constantine's Face, giggling at their response.
The group continued on their way to the Building when Johanna sensed a sinister Aura coming from nowhere. "Young master!" Johanna shifted from her Modern Clothing to her Servant form.
Pope Johanna wore an elegant White top with a flowing blue gown featuring a stylish slit on her right side. She complemented her outfit with a richly embroidered blue cape and a stunning blue Mitre adorned with Silver accents, symbolizing her authority and presence within the Church. The ensemble beautifully blended tradition with a Modern touch.
"HA!" The Ruler raised her Staff, creating a Barrier between her and the assailant.
Constantine XI transformed into his Servant form, clad in striking Reddish-Purple Armor with ornate designs. He wore sleek Black gloves and sturdy boots, and at his side rested a finely crafted Sword. Draped over his shoulders was a flowing black Cape, lined with the same rich hue as his armor, exuding majesty and power.
"Young Lord, stay close to me!" The Rider drew his Sword, ready to defend his master's Son.
Harry nodded, readying himself for the Battle. "Right, I understand, Constantine!"
"Show yourself, Assailant! From what you've shown, you're most likely an Assassin," Johanna said, demanding whoever Attacked them to reveal themselves.
"Heh, I wouldn't be able to get past you, Ruler," A voice echoed through the air. Suddenly, a Figure appeared before the Chaldeans.
A Man with bright red hair and polished Silver Armor. His black cape billowed behind him, exuding an air of authority. In his hand, he held a long Silver Sword, its blade glinting sharply with glowing red edges, suggesting the immense power it contained. Tension filled the atmosphere as the Chaldeans readied themselves for what was to come.
"An Assassin with a Sword?" Constantine asked if he was really reading the Class right.
"Who knows? Maybe I'm an Assassin or a Berserker, better yet, a Saber?" The red-haired Servant taunted, playing around his Class with the other Servants. "All I care is that I do my master's bidding, and that…is to take care of that Boy." He pointed his Sword at the young Heir.
Harry was used to Death Threats by now, but this was different. He's a Servant who doesn't have any affiliation with Chaldea by any means. "You can't identify his Class, Johanna?" The young Boy asked,
"No, his Spirit Origins is rather…tricky to determine," Johanna explains, using her Authority as Ruler to determine who or what Class this Servant is. "It's almost like he's tampering with his Spirit Origins-"
"Ah, so you can't determine who I am or what Class I am? So much for a Ruler," The red-haired Servant mocked the Pope.
Constantine XI held his Sword, pointing at the Assailant. "Enough, you don't speak to Johanna like that!" The Rider defended his Partner. "I care not for what Class you're in. As long as you wield that Sword, then that's all I can say!" The Rider dashed forward, raising his Blade.
"HA! THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!" Raising his Sword, the Servant deflected the Emperor's strike. "Heh," He then retaliated, slashing at Constantine's Body.
Constantine leaped back, dodging the slash as he landed right next to Johanna. "Ngh, he's strong," The Emperor commented. "I'll keep him occupied while you get his Parameters!" He ran back into the fight, getting into a Duel with him.
Johanna nodded, having a glimpse of the Servant's Parameters and the Class. "Ha! I got a glimpse of his Spirit Origins!" The Ruler stated, retrieving something during the fight.
Harry turns to the Pope, "Really!? What is it?" He asked, wanting to have some advantage against the Enemy Servant.
"He's a Berserker! Constantine, I'll provide you some support!" Johanna said, using her Blessings to protect the Rider.
"I'll give you support too!" Harry took out his Wand, drawing defensive Runes over to the Byzantine Emperor.
Constantine XI sensed the potent blessings from both the Heir of Chaldea and his Partner. With unwavering determination, he pointed his Sword before the Berserker and declared, "Servant, Rider, Constantine XI! Show me your true power, Berserker!"
"Very well, I am Tiberius Caesar! The Berserker of Britannia, I accept your challenge, Emperor Constantine!" The Berserker leaps forward, clashing his Sword with Constantine's Blade.
The Two Emperors met in a fierce duel, their Swords clashing with deadly precision as they struck at one another. The sharp clang of Metal echoed in the air, reverberating from the Steel of their Blades and the resounding impact of their armor. Each slash was a testament to their skill and determination, a whirlwind of power and grace amidst the Chaos of Battle.
Harry heard Berserker of Britannia announce his True Name before Dueling with Constantine. "Tiberius Caesar…the Second Roman Emperor who is known for his Military Campaigns and his sexual depravity!? That's Berserker's True Name?" He asked,
"Considering his exploits, that's most likely who the Berserker of Britannia is. But…" Johanna couldn't help but feel like something about the Rogue Servant felt wrong.
Suddenly, a loud clash caught the Two's attention, seeing Constantine and Tiberius's Swords interlocking before the Berserker smirked. "Well, you got skill there, my fellow Emperor."
Constantine has to admit, even though he's a Berserker. As a Roman Emperor, his Sword Skills are on par with other Roman Emperors, "The same goes for you, Tiberius. However," He pressed forward, grinning at the Rider. "But I'm going to win this Battle, Constantine!"
Tiberius only grinned, emitting a strange Aura coming over the Servant's Body. The Rider froze, sensing something was off with him. "W-Wait, this Aura…"
"Constantine! Get out of there!" Johanna exclaims, rushing over to her Partner,
The red-haired Berserker managed to gain the upper Hand against the black-haired Rider. He pushed Constantine back before stepping back himself. "Heh." In the blink of an Eye, Tiberius disappeared from view, causing Constantine to be dazed.
"W-What in the World?" The black-haired Rider searched around, looking for the Servant.
Appearing behind the Byzantine Emperor, raising his Sword at the Rider. "Heh! Die!" Tiberius exclaims, bringing down his Sword at Constantine,
Johanna arrived in Time, sending her Sacraments to protect the Rider from the Servant.
A Bright Shield appeared behind Constantine, protecting her Partner from the Servant. "Are you alright, Constantine?" Johanna asked as Harry came by, evading the red-haired Servant.
The black-haired Boy held his Wand at Constantine, using a Healing Spell he'd learned from Medea. "I'll heal you up, Constantine. Just don't move," Harry said, casting his Healing Spells.
"Hahahaha! This is entertaining, how sweet that your Girlfriend just save your Ass, Constantine!" Berserker of Britannia stated, placing his Sword on his Shoulders.
Harry looks at Johanna, "Johanna, what did you find out? You and Constantine were surprised earlier," He asked the Ruler,
Constantine, finished being Heal, answered the young master. "Both me and Johanna sensed the same thing coming from Tiberius. He has changed his Class." He stated.
"Not only that, but he also completely changed his Spirit Origins entirely. He's-"
The Servant laughed, interrupting Johanna's sentence, "You may be a match for Tiberius the Berserker, but can you handle the Assassin who assassinated Pompeius Magnus!?" He asked the Servants, "I am Assassin of Britannia, Lucius Septimius!" He proclaims, changing his Spirit Origins completely from what it once was.
