Odysseus and his crew row the ship into a rather dark cave, barely able to see anything in front of them. Odysseus begins to talk to himself quietly. "The lair of Scylla... This is our only way home..." He says, closing his eyes for a moment as if to steel himself. A voice can be heard in the back, quietly speaking, though Odysseus and his crew don't seem to notice it. "Deep down..." The voice says, as Eurylochus walks over to Odysseus, who opens his eyes. "You're quiet today." Eurylochus states, wondering if Odysseus is feeling okay, since he normally spoke much more than he had so far today. The voice from earlier speaks once more. "Deep down..." It states, as Odysseus looks straight ahead, almost as though he's ignoring Eurylochus, even as he responds. "Not much to say." Odysseus states, as the voice from earlier seems to come from behind Eurylochus now. "Deep down... You hide a reason for shame..." The voice states, as Eurylochus takes a deep breath, looking at Odysseus as he speaks once more. "I've got a secret I can no longer keep." He says, a nervous expression on his face. The voice from earlier now appears to come from behind Odysseus. "Deep down... You know that we are the same..." The voice speaks, as Eurylochus confesses what he'd done to Odysseus. "I opened the wind bag while you were asleep." He states. The voice seems to appear in Odysseus' ears, as he finally hears it, but has no reaction to its words, for his anger overwhelms him. "Leaving them feeling betrayed... Breaking the bonds that you've made..." The voice states, as Eurylochus begins to apologize. "I'm so sorry!" Eurylochus says, bending his head down in his shame.
The voice continues to speak to Odysseus. "There is no price we won't pay." It says, as Eurylochus finishes his apology. "Forgive me!" Eurylochus states, knowing that his mistake is what has caused the crew so much suffering. Odysseus' anger grows before he extinguishes it, taking a long, deep breath, even as he hears the voice in his ears once more. "We both know what it takes to survive." The voice states, as the crew now speaks, hoping to get out of this dark cave as quickly as possible. "Full speed ahead!" They say, some fear entering their voices, remembering what it was like last time they were in a cave like this one. "Full speed ahead!" They repeat, as if trying to encourage themselves to keep going at their current pace. "Full speed ahead!" They say once more, not caring that some of the sea foam is splashing up into their ship as they continue to row forward. They just want to get home. "Full speed ahead!" They say one last time, as Odysseus hears the voice once again. "Deep down... We only care for ourselves..." It states, as Odysseus turns to Eurylochus and gives him an order. "Eurylochus, light up six torches." He states, Eurylochus quickly going to do just that. The voice appears in Odysseus' ears yet again, and this time, he can't fully ignore it. "Deep down... We're lonely demons from hell..." The voice says, as Eurylochus, having lit the torches, sees something, calling out to Odysseus to let him know. "Captain, something approaches!" He says, raising his torch up slightly, hoping to get a better look. There, standing before him, his a beautiful woman, with a sadistic, cruel smile on her face, as she looks down at Odysseus and his crew, her smile growing. "Hello." She says, as suddenly, six serpent heads seem to appear all around the ship, the woman's smile turning into a smirk.
Odysseus yells to his crew, trying to get them out of there as quickly as possible. "Row for your lives!" He yells, as Scylla speaks once more, one of her serpentine heads grabbing a member of the crew with its sharp teeth, causing them to scream in agony. "Drown in your sorrow and fears!" Scylla cries out, as the head drags the person it grabbed up towards her, the torch they were holding now letting everyone see what she's actually like. There, upon the rocks, stands a being with a tail akin to that of the sirens from earlier, but around her waist there are the heads of dogs, all of them snarling and growling, mouths covered in dried blood as the serpentine head drags the person it had grabbed towards them, and they begin to devour the poor person. The twelve feet around Scylla's tail let her move disturbingly quick, as she uses them to help reposition herself, her six serpentine heads grab a second person, who's screaming in terror as Scylla continues to speak. "Choke on your blood and your tears!" She cries out, as another serpentine head grabs the same person, tearing the crew member in half between the two as he's swallowed by them.
Scylla continues to talk as a third member of the crew is grabbed. "Bleed till you've run out of years!" She yells out, her serpentine heads bringing the third person up to her face so she can smirk at them as they're eaten. "We must do what it takes to survive!" She says, as Eurylochus sees one of the crew panicking as they have no clue what's going on, as they're in a position that's only allowing them to see the torches of their friends vanish. Eurylochus decides he doesn't need his own torch, and hands it to the crew member. Scylla continues to talk as her serpentine heads grab a fourth person. "Give up your honor and faith! Live up your life as a wraith!" She cries out. Eurylochus finally notices what's going on with the torches as he sees a fifth man get grabbed by Scylla's serpentine heads. The only people she'd attacked were the ones with the torches in their hands. He turns, trying to run towards the person he had handed the torch to earlier. Unfortunately, he's too slow, as he sees Scylla's serpentine heads grab the man and tear him into shreds as they devour him. He's screaming in pain, a hand reaching out towards Eurylochus, only for his arm to be cut off from the sharp teeth of Scylla's serpentine head, the arm landing in front of Eurylochus, still holding the torch, as Scylla continues to speak. "Die in the blood where you bathe! We must do what it takes to survive!" She says, as the ship finally leaves her cave, everyone seeing light once more. A single serpentine head sneaks up behind Odysseus and speaks to him, a smirk upon its bloodied face as it does so. "We are the same you and I..." It says, Odysseus joining in on the last word, as if agreeing with Scylla, as the serpentine head returns to the cave. Eurylochus stands, looking around at all the blood upon the ship, before he turns to face Odysseus, walking towards him, anger upon his face.
