Odysseus is standing at the helm of the ship, looking onward, as if he's trying to ignore what just happened in Scylla's cave. Eurylochus, angry, stands behind him and speaks. "Tell me you did not know that would happen." He says, his fists gripped tightly as Odysseus seems to ignore him. "Say you didn't know how that would end." Eurylochus says, grabbing Odysseus by the shoulder and forcing his captain to look at him. "Look me in the eyes and tell me, captain... that you did not just sacrifice six men!" He yells, his anger filling his voice as he lets go of Odysseus. "Use your wits to try and say I'm crazy and mad!" He cries out, pointing a finger at Odysseus. "That this is all some trick the gods have sent!" He continues, putting his arms outwards, as though he's daring Odysseus to contradict him. He grabs Odysseus by the chlamys, glaring at him. "Tell me you did not miss home so painfully bad, that you gave up the lives of six of our friends!" He keeps his grip on Odysseus as he continues to speak. "When we fought the cyclops, you were quick to hatch a plan!" Eurylochus states, his own memories of facing the cyclops and helping carve its club into a spear entering his mind. "And when we fought with Circe, it was you who left behind no man!" He says, letting go of Odysseus as he remembers how he had said to leave the crew on that island and escape. He continues speaking though, ignoring that, even as his guilt gnaws at him. "But when we saw this monster, we didn't take a stand... we just ran!" He says, as Odysseus once more turns away from him and walks back to the helm of the ship, distancing himself from Eurylochus. Angered by this, Eurylochus shouts at him. "Say something!" He yells, anger filling his voice. Odysseus turns around once more, anger filling his own voice as he yells in response. "I can't!" He shouts back, as Eurylochus closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before he speaks. "Then you have forced my hand." Eurylochus states, slowly unsheathing his sword.

The crew, shocked at this turn of events, all speaks as one. "Eurylochus!" They state, as the man they mentioned begins walking towards Odysseus, who tries talking with him. "Lower your weapon!" He says, as Eurylochus keeps walking forward, ignoring him. "No can do. You miss your wife so bad, you trade the lives of your own crew." He says, as Odysseus nervously unsheathes his own blade before he speaks once more. "Don't make me fight you brother! You know you'd have done the same!" He says, realizing he has nowhere to go. Eurylochus speaks once more, raising his own blade upwards. "If you want all the power, you must carry all the blame!" He angrily cries out, slamming his blade downwards, which Odysseus barely manages to block. The crew starts to voice their support for who they wish to win, with those who support Eurylochus speaking out first. "Eurylochus! Eurylochus! Eurylochus!" They excitedly say, as Eurylochus seems to have the advantage, his weapon giving him more reach and a slightly heavier blade. He's not bothering to try to find his way through Odysseus' blocks and parries, and is rather breaking through them with sheer strength, even with it resulting in him being cut by Odysseus quite often. Odysseus' supporters also begin to speak up. "Odysseus! Odysseus! Odysseus!" They say, as Odysseus begins to find his way around Eurylochus' attacks, dodging them more often, and using the times he blocks Eurylochus' attacks to quickly disengage and get another hit in. Both Odysseus' and Eurylochus' supporters now speak as one, seeming to agree that both Odysseus and Eurylochus share a single trait. "There is no price he won't pay." They state, as Odysseus takes advantage of a dodged attack to trip Eurylochus and knock him down. Eurylochus blocks a slash downwards from Odysseus, but the blow is so fierce, and Eurylochus' arm is at a strange angle with him being on the ground, resulting in the shock knocking Eurylochus' sword out of his hand. "I am not letting you get in my way!" Odysseus yells, starting to raise his blade, about to bring it down on Eurylochus. Suddenly, Odysseus is stabbed in the back. He turns to see who it was, and notices it's Perimedes. "My brothers... why?" He asks, confused and in pain. Perimedes removes his sword from Odysseus' wound before he and the crew all speak as one, Odysseus unable to move and face them. "How are we supposed to trust you now?" They ask, fear on their faces from how quickly Odysseus had seemed to almost turn on them. "Now, your time has come. Your luck's run out." They say, starting to encircle Odysseus, who looks around at them all, still in shock as he slowly stands up. "Now, the time has come to shut you down! You relied on wit and people died on it! Whoa!" They say, Perimedes still leading them as Eurylochus gets up and, before any of the other members of the crew can harm Odysseus, punches him, knocking him out.

Hours later, Odysseus wakes up, his stab wound bandaged, and his hands tied behind his back. He's laying against a statue. "Agh... My head..." He groans, as he wonders where he is. "Where are we?" He asks, unaware he'd spoken his thoughts aloud, as cows mooing can be heard. Suddenly, Eurylochus approaches, sitting in front of Odysseus as he answers his question. "Some island... the first one we found. It's bursting with cows just roaming around begging us to eat. So much meat... and hunger is so heavy..." He says, a tired, hunger filled look in his eyes as he continues to talk. "This statue... the God of the Sun... Don't know where it's from, but here's where we found all these cows to hunt... right in front... and hunger is so heavy..." He says, standing up. The crew echoes his words. "Hunger is so heavy..." They say, as Eurylochus unsheathes his sword. Odysseus, seeing this, gets worried. "Please don't tell me you're about to do what I think you'll do..." He says. Hearing him, Eurylochus turns to face him. "Ody, we're never gonna get to make it home. You know it's true." He says, as Odysseus disagrees with him. "You don't know that's true! This is the home of the Sun God." He says, trying to give some hope to Eurylochus. "I'm starving, my friend." Eurylochus says. It's clear his words are true, as he's barely holding on to his sword by this point, his hands shaking from hunger. "But if you kill his cattle, who knows what he'll send? This is the home of the Sun God!" Odysseus says, trying to warn Eurylochus, hoping his words will get through to his friend. Eurylochus just looks at him, his exhaustion entering his voice as he speaks. "I'm tired, my friend!" He says, as Odysseus tries to reassure him. "But we're so close to home. This can't be where it ends." He states, as he looks up at Eurylochus.

Eurylochus looks back down at him, facing away from the cow as some anger shows on his face. He speaks to Odysseus once again. "How much longer must I suffer now?" He asks, as Odysseus tries to convince him not to kill the cow. "Please don't do this..." Odysseus says, only for Eurylochus to ignore him. "How much longer must I push through doubt?" Eurylochus asks, as he thinks back to all the times he's had to reassure both the crew and himself that Odyseus had a plan, and would get them through their current hardships. Odysseus keeps trying to convince him to not harm the cow. "I need to get home..." He says, hoping the thought of home will get through to Eurylochus. Unfortunately, he seems to ignore Odysseus' words as he asks one final question. "How much longer must I go about my life like this, when people die like this? Whoa..." He says, closing his eyes as Odysseus simply says a single word, thinking of everything he's put his crew through. "Eurylochus..." Odysseus says, hoping that will get his friends' attention away from his hunger. Suddenly, the crew joins in, speaking along with Eurylochus. "How much longer must we suffer now?" They ask, as they begin to encircle the cow, trapping it. "Reconsider!" Odysseus cries out, hoping the crew will listen to him. "How much longer must we push through doubt?" They ask, Eurylochus leading them as they get closer and closer to the cow. Odysseus tries to give them hope with his words. "We can get home!" He says, though the crew ignores him as they fully trap the cow. "How much longer must we go about our lives like this, when people die like this? Whoa..." They wonder, as Odysseus speaks once more, trying as best as he can to stop them from killing the cow. "Eurylochus!" He says, and as his friend turns to him, he says three simple words. "I'm just a man!" He says, bringing his sword down towards the cow. "Eurylochus, NO!" Odysseus yells, as Eurylochus slits the cows' throat.

Odysseus sits there in shock for a moment before he speaks. "You've doomed us... You've doomed us all, Eurylochus!" He angrily yells, causing Eurylochus to turn and face him, a confused look on his face. "...Captain?" He says, unsure what Odysseus could mean. Suddenly, Odysseus stands up, having untied himself. "We need to get away from this island, now!" He yells, beginning to head towards the ship. He gets on it and begins to give orders to the crew. "Grab an oar with all the strength your arms allow!" He cries out, the crew instinctively following his orders, their survival instincts going wild as even he himself and Eurylochus grab oars and start rowing. "Those cows were immortal! They were the Sun God's friends!" Odysseus explains, continuing to row with all his might. "And now that we've pissed him off, WHO DO YOU THINK HE'LL SEND?!" He yells, the crew joining him with their own fear. "Full speed ahead! Full speed ahead!" They cry out, rowing as hard and fast as they can. "Faster!" Odysseus yells, trying to get them out of there as quickly as possible. "Full speed ahead!" The crew says again, Odysseus repeating his order once more. "Faster!" He yells again, the crew now truly being pushed to their limits. "Full speed ahead!" The crew says one last time. Suddenly, thunder roars through the sky, and lightning begins flashing around them. Odysseus drops his oar, giving up. "... We're to late." He says, fear filling his voice.
