My Minecraft Mob: Djinn
Islamic shapeshifting spirits with different planes of elementals, as only the noble of the djinn may possess the power of the wish, but is too bound by the limits of what can be all but given to the master that freed them from their imprisonment by the sha'irs. There are several types of djinn as listed down below right here:
Ifrits - Powerful and fiery death spirits who seek revenge on their murderers who slew them, cruel and self serving as they see others as servants or slaves.
Dao - Earth elemental industrious labor workers who wield hammers for combat while spending much of their time mining, shaping, and digging; the act of kindness and fairness is always returned because the Ifrits tolerate these djinn.
Marid - Vehemently independent and proud djinn of the water whose moods tend to shift rapidly and quickly as a storm on the sea and are chaotically dangerous when imprisoning them, as they're quick to seek out revenge.
Qorrash - Breezing through the cold as djinn of the ice whose breath can lead to severe chills that risk frostbite.
Jann - Djinn who were not bound to one element or native of a singular plane, but were of the material and primal physical plane, residing in great numbers in the Overworld's deserts. They're friendly to strangers in their territories and showed judgement on the actions of miners than their race, and are usually called upon the djinn to aid them in dire circumstances; the Ifrit and Dao are tolerated by them, but the Marid are treated like royalty by them.
Khayal - Arrogant and confident djinn of the shadows who were clearly deceptive to the point of making an art of it, relying on ambush tactics and sneak attacks. But if confronted with irrefutable proof that they lied to the miners, they're bound to the service of the miners as penance for being caught in the act and will work with mortals who impressed them or whose goals aligned with their own.
Genies - Taller and fairest of djinn who were strong like the Ifrit, the noble djinn who had the power of the wish to grant to those who're entitled to the act of having their desires be granted properly.
