But when the Master Sword is cursed so badly it can't even be put to rest, and monsters are attacking, and the enemy is still nowhere to be found, the Hero and the Princess are left with nothing but unsolvable problems.

Link is seventeen once more, and this time, Hyrule is at peace, the people safe from Ganondorf's evil. The hero's work is done.
