"You and he have formed a beautiful family together, don't let any racist white woman take that away from you. ok?" Maya said.

"Okay" she said.

"You know that these white women who stand behind him, they just can't deal with the fact that he chose you to be his wife. They think that you don't have the right to have a man like him... white, handsome, successful and rich and so they will try to destroy your happiness at all costs," said Maya, calming her down.

Olivia reflected on everything her mother had said...

"Tomorrow I'll go back to work at the company, I was only working from my laptop," she said.

"Will you be able to work around him... without fighting with him?"

"I don't know, but... I fought for my business degree and I love my profession, I'm going to focus on my work" she said.

"You're right," said Maya, smiling.

Josh felt guilty about everything that had happened to Fitz and called him... "Fitz, I was thinking we could go back to the hotel, get proof that Chloe lied, I don't know... I want to help you somehow" he said.

"All right, Josh... I want Olivia to trust my word, I don't want to have to open an investigation to prove to my wife that I didn't cheat on her," he said sadly.

The next morning, Maya left for her house early.

Olivia gave all the instructions for the nanny to look after Sophie while she worked.

She got into her favorite convertible and drove to the company. She has other cars, but the white convertible was the first gift Fitz gave her and it has a special meaning.

Olivia parked the car and went straight to the elevator. Fitz hadn't arrived yet, so she went straight to her office to work.

When he arrived in the parking lot, the first thing he looked at was her parked convertible, he gave her such a big smile.

Fitz got on the elevator thinking about her, he walked down the hall and knocked on her office door.

Olivia looked at the door and he entered the room... "I was happy when I saw your car in the parking lot," he said.

"Regardless of our relationship, I have a degree in business administration and I'm here running this company," she said.

"You're the best" he said.

"Can you let me work alone?" she said, looking away.

"I love you so much, I'm happy just to know that you're working near me. Even if you don't want to talk to me" he said and then left as she asked.

When he left, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, she loves him so much and it's so hard for her to be angry with him.

Her cell phone rang and she answered it...

"Hi, is my daughter all right?" she asked.

"Mrs. Grant, everything is fine with Sophie. But that woman who always comes here, Susan... she's at the entrance to the house, she asked to spend the day with your daughter and me, I thought it was strange, is it to allow her in?" said the nanny.

"You can let her in, but don't leave my daughter alone, okay?" Olivia ended up getting too involved in the whole situation, letting Susan get too close to her family, she felt she was doing the right thing by keeping Susan close, but maybe she had made a mistake.

"Okay," the nanny hung up.

The security guard let Susan in, and he took Sophie out of the baby carriage and put her on his lap.

After a while with Sophie on her lap, while the nanny went to give her a bath, Susan took the opportunity to go into Sophie's room, she took some of her clothes and put them in her bag.

Olivia told Abby everything. "Liv, that Chloe is a slut, she's just a slut desperate for attention, you need to make sure that something really happened between her and him," said Abby.

"My mom told me the same thing, but... I need some time, I can't look at Fitz right now, I'm so angry with him," she vented.

Later... They left the company at almost the same time, he saw her car leaving and drove off after her.

Olivia got home, breastfed her daughter and then went to take a shower.

Fitz parked the car and went into the house to see Sophie. He went up to her room, smiled when he saw his daughter and picked her up... "I've missed you, my little one"

Fitz smelled something and then played with her "I guess I'll have to change your dirty diaper again"

"I'll change her diaper, Mr. Grant" the nanny said and then he said he wanted to do it.

So he changed her diaper, got her clean and then rocked her to sleep.

Olivia put on her robe, got out of the bath and went to Sophie's room, she stopped at the door and saw Fitz with her on his lap. she was still angry with him, but she couldn't help smiling when she saw that he had made a point of seeing his daughter, even after she had asked him to leave the house.

She left the two of them alone, went downstairs and into the kitchen for a sandwich.

Fitz managed to get Sophie to sleep, put her in her crib and went downstairs.

He approached her... "Are you calmer now? Can we talk?" he said in a low voice.

"No, Fitz... I don't want to talk now" she continued eating her sandwich and drinking her juice.

"Liv"

"You've already seen your daughter, so... you can go to your brother's house or somewhere else"

"Somewhere else? What do you mean?"

"To that bitch's bed," she said, starting to get angry again.

"I've already said it, I'll say it again... I didn't touch Chloe. but I'll wait for your anger to pass, I'll wait for your time. good night, Liv"

"Good night, Fitz" she replied.

"I love you" he said, left, got in his car and drove away.

The next day, Olivia and Fitz had to work together and she couldn't help being close to him.

"Did you know that with anger, avoiding looking me in the eye, you manage to look even more beautiful and sexy?" he said.

"If it's not about work, you don't talk to me," she said.

"I love you, I love you, I love you" he repeated several times.

"If it's not about work..." she was about to repeat the same thing and then he interrupted her.

"Our love, our hot chemistry together, our connection, is much stronger than any lie Chloe has made up, Liv" he said, smiled and left his office.

/A WEEK LATER/

Before she went to work, the nanny asked to speak to Olivia, she complained that Susan that she insisted on going there every day and that she was acting strangely around Sophie. Olivia was thoughtful, her intuition was trying to tell her something, so she called Susan and asked her to come over.

She waited for Susan, then she arrived and the security guard let her in.

Susan noticed that Olivia was tense and asked, "What happened?"

"Susan, I... I have good memories with you, when I was your son's girlfriend, you always treated me well, you stopped him... you know. I put myself in your shoes, as a mother, so I let you get close to my daughter. but you're crossing all the boundaries I set," she said.

"What do you mean?"

"You're not an idiot, you've noticed that Sophie bears no resemblance to Jake, she's identical to Fitz, you know he's the father and not Jake. so what do you want by acting like she's your granddaughter?"

"Grandchildren aren't just by blood, I've grown fond of her. After all, she could have been Jake's daughter," Susan began to alter her voice.

"No, she couldn't have been Jake's daughter. I never had sex with him, never," she confessed.

"Olivia, don't start lying... Jake told me that you and he..."

"He lied, Susan... he lied, that's all Jake knew how to do, lie and lie and lie" Olivia started to get annoyed with Susan, she's already annoyed with Chloe and then she exploded.

"Do you know where he is, where my son is, Olivia? where my son is?" Susan raised her voice even higher.

"You don't want to find out where he is," she said.

"Where? where? where?"

"I'm not going to say any more, Susan... I just need you to stop coming to my house and hanging around my daughter. I don't like it and neither does her father"

"Are you forbidding me to see her?"

"Yes"

"Go back to your house," said Olivia, out of patience with her.

Susan left... "You'll regret this, Olivia," she thought.
