The architect still has some changes to make to the Grant family's new house, but they will soon be moving into their new home.
Maya and Eli were talking while they were eating together.
"You're so stubborn," she complained.
"I told you, I don't want no white man in a tie standing in front of my house. I'm looking out for our granddaughter, our house, our family..."
"Stubborn old man," she laughed.
/I know very well who is watching our house, Sophie is protected here in our house/ Eli Pope thought about it and didn't say anything to Maya, so as not to make her worry.
The next day...
Olivia woke up, prepared a nice breakfast for Fitz and Sophie, they had breakfast together, then dropped Sophie off at school and went to work.
Olivia and Cyrus once again analyzed the five best candidates from the interview and she was going to select Stephen for the job vacancy left by Alex.
Soon afterwards, Cyrus called Stephen and told him to go to the company and bring his documents.
THREE WEEKS LATER...
Tomorrow is Saturday and Sophie is once again spending the weekend at Maya and Eli's house.
Olivia is worried about Sophie, but she trusts her parents.
Maya and Eli pick Sophie up from school again.
"Baby, you know I don't like Sophie being without the security guards around," said Fitz.
"Baby, I know... I don't either. But my father is stubborn, he hates any white man in a suit and tie staring at him... he has reasons for that" said Olivia.
"I understand, but I don't agree" said Fitz.
"I trust him" she said.
"It's okay, baby" Fitz kissed her.
It's as if they feel that Susan is getting close to Sophie again.
They dropped Sophie off at school first and then headed to the company.
Olivia and Stephen are working well together, he's doing very well in his probationary period at the company.
Olivia entered the room and Stephen handed her the report she had asked for all ready. "Good morning, I've finished the report"
"Good morning, you did that report at great speed" she laughed.
"That's my job"
Olivia gave him more work and left the room.
Later...
Maya called Olivia and told her that everything was fine with Sophie and she was reassured.
"Baby, everything's fine with our little princess. So can we have some sex?" she said, sitting on his lap on the sofa.
Fitz put his hand on her ass...
"It's been a while since we've had sex on this sofa," he whispered.
"Then let's enjoy it today," she said.
Olivia took off all her dress and rode him so eagerly on that big, luxurious white sofa.
The next day, Cyrus called Fitz and told him that he had to make a work meeting on Saturday, because he was a very important client.
"Baby, I have to have a business meeting today," he said.
"Okay, baby, then we'll have lunch together at the mall restaurant"
"I'll finish the meeting and meet you"
"I'm going to find Abby, we're going to buy some clothes and then I'll meet you" she said. she said hugging him.
They shower together, change clothes and leave in separate cars.
Olivia and Abby are enjoying shopping for clothes at the mall, while she vents to Olivia.
"How are things, Abby?"
"I'm so mad at Josh... how do you manage to have such an incredible relationship with Fitz after all these years?"
"There's no mystery, I love him, he loves me and we do everything we can to keep our relationship alive..." she said, while looking at a children's clothing store.
"Do you and he still have sex quite often? even after Sophie was born?"
"Yes, he and I love sex and we can't stop," she laughed.
"Have you ever had sex with him at the meeting table? I think that's such a hot idea... I'm going to propose it to Josh to heat up our relationship" Abby laughed.
"What? you and Josh aren't going to have sex on the meeting table, only Fitz and I can. it's exclusive"
Afterwards, they bought various things and Abby stayed with Olivia to wait for Fitz.
Maya was watching television with Sophie, when Sophie asked her to bake her an apple pie and Maya told Eli that she was going to the market to buy the ingredients for the pie.
"I'll buy the ingredients and other things for her to eat... and you look after her," said Maya.
"You don't have to teach me how to look after my granddaughter," he said.
"Keep an eye on her, she likes to run around in the garden and you need to keep an eye on her" she said and Eli said he would take good care of her.
Maya said goodbye to him and left in her car for the market.
Sophie and Eli watched a movie together and after a while she didn't want to watch it anymore.
"Grandpa, can I play in the garden?" she asked.
"All right, but stay in front of the door... okay?" he said.
"Yes" she hugged him and then went to play in the garden.
Sophie was in the garden with her dolls...
Susan noticed that Sophie often spends the weekends at Maya and Eli's house, without Olivia and Fitz around. she sold her old house, lives in a trailer and does some cleaning work for some neighbors to make ends meet. she parked her old car near a tree and walked over, watching Sophie from afar.
She ran away from the door, a little out of Eli's sight, as she ran through the garden.
Susan brought chocolate this time, to attract her attention... Sophie was looking at her doll, she approached her... when Sophie looked, she remembered her face. "My mommy won't let me talk to..." Susan interrupted her and showed her the chocolate.
"I just want to be your friend, I brought you some chocolate. Do you like it?"
"Yes, I like it... but I can't accept it," said Sophie.
"I'm your mother's friend... it's okay..."
"Are you a friend of my mommy?" she asked so innocently.
Eli Pope just let Susan talk to Sophie, he didn't interrupt.
"Yes, her name is Olivia... right?"
Sophie shook her head yes.
"So, I'm her friend. You can have this chocolate." Sophie accepted the chocolate.
"My grandpa," Sophie said and just as she turned to walk, Susan grabbed her small hand and pulled her to walk with her.
Eli Pope didn't see anything or is he just letting Susan think she's in control? he wouldn't let anyone hurt his little granddaughter.
A few minutes later... Maya returned from the market, parked the car and noticed that Eli's car was no longer parked, she was confused.
She picked up the bags from the market, went into the house nervously, her intuition was telling her something.
Maya looked all over the house for Sophie and Eli and couldn't find either of them, she called his cell phone and he didn't answer either.
Fitz was a little late, Olivia was still waiting for him at the mall with Abby, so she felt something strange, it's just maternal instinct and she felt like calling Maya.
"Mom?" she said and realized that Maya's voice was strange.
"Mom?" she repeated.
"Daughter, I don't want you to get nervous... I went to the market, I came back and I couldn't find Sophie anywhere... your father isn't here either. but he wouldn't take her out without telling me, he doesn't answer his cell phone either," said Maya in a shaky voice. In another situation, Maya would hide it from Olivia, but she knows that her mother's instinct would make Olivia show up in a few hours.
"My daughter's is disappeared? My father too?" she asked confusedly.
"Calm down, Liv... I'm going to hang up and I'll look for them. Everything will be fine" Maya said and hung up.
Olivia started to feel sick, she started to feel pains all over her body, she started to get dizzy... "Abby..." she couldn't finish speaking and fainted from the shock of the news.
"Liv, Liv" Abby held her and immediately called the hospital.
When she arrived at the hospital, Abby called Fitz and told him that Olivia felt ill and had fainted.
The doctor examined Olivia, medicated her and put her under observation... she opened her eyes.
"I'm feeling better, I need to go" she said.
"You can't go, you need to stay under observation. You're pregnant, did you know?" asked her doctor, the same one who looked after her throughout Sophie's pregnancy.
"I wasn't sure, I stopped taking birth control... but I expected it," she stammered.
"I touched your belly and I knew right away, it's still early in the pregnancy, you're thin so you can't tell yet, but I know how to recognize a pregnant patient," she said.
Fitz arrived at the hospital and was standing outside the room waiting to speak to her.
"Is my baby all right?" she asked.
"I need to do some tests, but everything seems to be fine."
"So I can go?"
"Olivia, you can't go, you need to be under observation. You've fainted and you need to wait." The doctor gave her some calming medicine and left the room.
Fitz entered the hospital room, worried and not understanding what had happened. "Baby, what happened? Are you all right?" he asked.
"Fitz, listen to me... something's happened to Sophie, my father's gone too. Go by helicopter and look for her... bring her back?" she said, crying.
Fitz did as she asked, he kissed her on the lips and ran out of the hospital, the tranquilizer took effect and Olivia fell asleep.
