Hey! If you are a fan/follower of this story I have good and bad news. The chapters you know and love have been deleted and are in the process of being restored better than ever. I have the same plot for this story but different ways I want to execute it, and I thought it would be a fun way to connect with the younger me to revamp this story. Sorry to take away the old chapters but I hope you enjoy the new ones! (Coming soon!)

SNEAK PEEK:

How life had come to this, Ginny could never begin to imagine. She stared at herself for a moment, the reflection in front of her not looking real. It looked fake, unnatural. Weasley signature red hair resting right next to the Slytherin crest stitched into her robes, the sight almost made her ill.

She swallowed hard, looking away from the mocking eyes of the snake on the emblem and into her own. Her eyes, the ones that came from her Gryffindor mother. She looked away to stop the flow of tears she felt coming on, and left hiding in the bathroom to go hide on her bed.

After pulling the curtains shut, she pulled out a small, black, leather book. A feeling of relief washed over her as she cracked it open, the pages feeling almost warm, inviting. She grabbed her quill and began to write, her worries melting insantly.

Tom, are you there?

I'm here, Ginny. Are you alright? You never updated me on your sorting.

Ginny paused and bit down on her lip in thought, not sure if she should tell him her disappointing news or lie. She decided if she couldn't talk to anyone else about it, she might as well tell the book.

I'm not alright. I got sorted into Slytherin.

And that is... bad?

This made Ginny pause again, his response a suprise to her.

Yes. Slytherins are all prejudiced. And rude. I don't belong in Slytherin.

That's just abusrd. Slytherin is a fine house, many cunning, intelligent, and revolutionary people have come from that house. Who lied to you about them?

Well, my parents and brothers have always said that, and that Gryffindor is the better house. All of them are Gryffindors.

Ah, that explains it. Don't let them posion you child, people fear Slytherins because they have the daring to go after anything they want. I think you're right where you belong.

I think people fear Slytherins because they fear getting hexed. I don't belong here.

You'll see eventually. Being sorted into Slytherin is a GIFT.
