Ghostface tilted his head at Hikaru as if studying him before looking at the others in the group. Haruhi kept a tight grip on Hikaru, who seemed to be ready to swing at Ghostface any second for trying to get close to her when Haruhi heard a familiar muffled voice coming from him.

"Haruhi Fujioka, is that you?"

Haruhi stared at the man in utter confusion, her fear almost instantly vanishing when she didn't hear the sinister voice of the killer she knew all too well, but a voice she hadn't heard from in a while. The person took off their mask, revealing their identity as Toru Suzushima. She calmed down, and her grip loosened around Hikaru's arm when she saw it was Toru. He seemed to notice her reaction, and he gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, did I scare you?"

"Yeah, a little." She admitted. "We were told that this was a party where no one was allowed to dress up as Ghostface and then being in a room full of them with one staring at me for a long time. It got me on edge."

"Geez, I'm really sorry about that." He apologized again. Now seeing how uncomfortable she was and beginning to feel bad. "The invitation that Kanako and I received said to dress up as Ghostface. We were a bit confused since the recent killings involved a Ghostface killer, but we decided to go along with it."

"But why were you staring at Haruhi so creepily?" Hikaru asked, still being defensive over Haruhi.

"The mask was really hard to see out of. I saw a beautiful costume and wanted to know who it was and the only way I could clearly see out of it was if I had to tilt my head. I'm sorry again if I creeped you out. I feel awful."

"No, no, it's ok." Haruhi tried to reassure him. Even though her heart is still pounding loudly in her chest from the fear she was feeling only a minute ago. "You weren't trying to scare me or anything. So, it's fine. Don't worry about it."

Toru apologized to Haruhi and the twins again before putting his mask back on and disappearing back into the crowd. Haruhi looked back out into the crowd of blackness. She could see some of the Ghostfaces talking to each other, while others were dancing and drinking. Some didn't even have their masks on and were either wearing them on the sides of their heads or just holding them in their hands. None seemed to be giving her a threatening aura. Everyone was just having fun.

"Should we go?" Kasanoda asked Haruhi, breaking her out of her thoughts. "If you feel uncomfortable Fujioka, we can go somewhere else."

"No, it's fine," Haruhi said. "I don't feel in danger here actually. I don't think the killer is here…but I would like to avoid the crowd though."

"Good idea." The twins said.

"Well, while you guys go huddle in a corner the whole night, I'm going to tear up the dance floor. With or without a killer in it." She grabbed Kasanoda's arm and began leading him into the crowd. "Let's party baby!"

Mei dragged her boyfriend into the crowd, who looked at the trio apologetically before leaving them behind to fend for themselves.

'Wow, thanks a lot Mei.'

Haruhi let out a sigh and then looked up at Hikaru, where she was surprised to see a dark scowl on his face. A scowl she has rarely seen him have before. It might've been because he was wearing a mask that was covering half of his face, but he almost looked like a completely different person. She tugged on his sleeve to get his attention, his scowl disappeared from his face as he looked down at her.

"Let's get some food at the refreshment area," Haruhi said. "The spread looks good."

He smiled at her. "Of course, the food is the first thing that grabs your attention. I am a bit peckish so why not."

"You guys go ahead without me," Kaoru said. "I'm going to try and find Renge and Kyoya to figure out what the hell is going on here."

"Are you sure?" Hikaru asked, worried about his twin's safety. "We can eat first and go with you. You know, just in case…"

Kaoru waved off his worry. "I'll be fine, don't worry about it. I should be back in about in about ten minutes or so."

He waved before leaving the two of them alone, but as he left, Haruhi noticed the slight smirk on his face that Hikaru didn't seem to notice. Was it directed at her? Did he know what she and Mei planned for her to try and achieve tonight? Did Mei tell him?! Also, if he knew, does that mean Hikaru knew as well?

She looked back up at his face in a panic, but as he watched Kaoru walk away he just shrugged and turned towards the opposite direction. His arm still linked with hers.

"Well then, should we get you your food, Ms. Fujioka?" He smiled down at her, a smile that was way too contagious that she couldn't help but smile herself.

"Yes, let's."

Hikaru led Haruhi towards the buffet table, which was luckily out of the way of the group of Ghostfaces. So they didn't have to maneuver through the crowd and cause Haruhi's anxiety to spike back up. Once at the buffet table, Haruhi could feel her mouth begin to water from all the magnificent food that was being served. She might have been around this food for over six years, but it always tastes as good as the first time she had it. To Haruhi's surprise, the school was even surviving drinks, mainly just wine and champagne, and Hikaru had gotten her a glass of champagne. Which by looking at the bottle looked like it would cost about the same as one month's rent for her apartment. However, it was the best champagne she ever had, and she rarely ever liked champagne.

After a few plates of food and another glass of champagne, Mei had come from within the crowd to try and get Haruhi and Hikaru to dance. Haruhi was still uncomfortable being in the crowd but agreed to dance one song to get Mei, who was now very tipsy, off her back.

"So, did you ask him?" Mei asked Haruhi as the boys went to get them more drinks.

"No," Haruhi said, making Mei pout. "There hasn't been a good time yet."

"Haruhi, with your mindset there will never be a good enough time. Just say it. Fuck, you could just grab his face and kiss him once he gets back. I bet he'll be into that."

"Mei," Haruhi hissed at her. "I'm not going to force myself onto him. That's gross."

"Men love it when women do it." She rolled her eyes at her bland friend. "Just look."

Mei got up once the guys came back with their drinks and as Kasanoda was about to hand Mei hers, she grabbed his face and pulled him into a rough kiss. Haruhi and Hikaru just stared at them before giving a quick glance at each other. After a few seconds, Mei separated from a beet red Kasanoda and took her drink into her hand. Giving Haruhi a triumphant smirk.

"See, not that hard."

She then led him back onto the dance floor where they disappeared within the crowd.

"What was that about?" Hikaru asked with an amused smile.

"Nothing, it's just Mei being annoying." Haruhi huffed out. She looked back up Hikaru. Damn, he really did look good tonight. Maybe she should try and fool around with him tonight. She'd never done something like that before and she had no idea how this worked. Has he done this before?

She could feel her body begin to sweat from the nerves. She couldn't do anything here, in front of everyone. She wanted to move on from Tamaki, but she didn't want a rumor going around of her already moving on. She didn't want to be even more the center of attention than she already was. Especially with the killer out there. She let out a deep sigh, which got Hikaru's attention.

"Hey, are you alright…"

"Do you want to…"

Their words both died off when they saw none other than Tamaki enter through the front doors followed by Kyoya. He was dressed in a black Prussia Hussar uniform with gold accents and a cape draped over his right shoulder. He had extensions that made his hair shoulder length and it was tied into a low pony using a black ribbon.

What was he doing here?!

"What the fuck?!" She heard Hikaru hiss next to her. His expression was wild with fury. A way she has never seen before. "How dare he show his fucking face here, and dressed up as fucking Raoul. Who the fuck told him you were dressed up as Christine?!"

Raoul, she knew who that was from the synopsis of the musical the twins gave her in the car. Raoul was Christine's love interest in The Phantom of the Oprea. Someone must've gossiped about the costume the twins had planned and it was passed to Tamaki, but who? Also, Kyoya had said Tamaki wasn't supposed to be here at the party tonight. So why was he here? To try to win her back? Was it bad that a part of her was hoping he was, even though she had no intention of ever getting back with him?

She felt Hikaru grab her hand and begin leading her away. "Come on, let's go before he sees you."

Without letting her have time to protest, Hikaru began dragging her through the crowd of Ghostfaces as if he were trying to hide her from his=Tamaki's sight from within the crowd. However, she stuck out like a sore thumb with her bright white dress in an ocean of black. Tamaki turned towards their direction when he noticed a dash of white in the crowd, but since he didn't seem to realize it was Haruhi, he went back to scanning the crowd.

Hikaru led her into the halls that were mostly empty with some party goers just chatting among themselves or couples having some time alone to themselves. He found an empty room and had them enter it before closing the door.

"I don't believe he saw us." He said. A relieved but tight smile on his face. Bur Haruhi could see he was trying the hide what seemed like anxiety on his face. He was most likely worried about Haruhi's feelings and how Tamaki's unannounced appearance would affect her.

He moved a stray curl from her face and she looked into his eyes. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked in the moonlight. Especially dressed in his costume.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah…Yeah I'm fine…" Haruhi was barely able to get out.

"Are you sure? I know seeing him must've been a shock. Kyoya told us he wasn't coming. I was sure of it."

"It's fine, really." Haruhi reassured him.

He just gave her a small smile. "You're a strong woman Haruhi Fujioka. I can't imagine how you can stay sane when there is a killer out there somewhere and your cheating ex trying to win you back."

"Well, I got people like you that help me remain sane."

His smile fell as it seemed to notice what she said. She could feel herself begin to grow nervous. She knew she wasn't the best flirter, she never really had to flirt to win Tamaki over, so flirting with a new man was new to her. She was hoping her horrible flirting wouldn't draw him away.

"Well, I'm glad to help." He finally responded. His hand still remained behind her ear where he had tucked her hair. He was staring into her eyes as if he was entranced. She felt her lips tingle as her eyes flicked down to his. She wanted to kiss him. Hopefully, Mei was right about him still maybe having some attraction towards her.

She leaned up closer to him, trying to give him a hint of what she wanted. He seemed to realize almost instantly and slowly began to lean down towards her so their lips could meet in the middle. However, just as his lips brushed against hers, he paused for a moment before he pulled away.

"Sorry…" He apologized. He let out a sigh and palmed his face that wasn't covered by the mask.

"No, I'm sorry." Haruhi apologized as she shook her head. "I don't know what I was thinking…"

"I want to," Hikaru confessed, causing her to look back up at him. She could feel her cheeks grow warm from him saying that. "I really do. It's just…I don't want to be a rebound."

Haruhi nodded and her blush was now from embarrassment. "I completely understand…"

"Maybe, in a few months. Once we are both over our past relationships, maybe we can try something."

Haruhi nodded. "Yeah sure…"

"Right…" Hikaru cleared his throat awkwardly. "Now, should we get Kaoru and leave or…"

"Yeah…Yeah…"

Hikaru turned and began walking towards the door and Haruhi followed him, but a few paces behind him. She just wanted to go home and crawl underneath her covers and die from embarrassment. She was never going to listen to Mei's advice about men ever again. She should've just listened to herself and not done anything…but all the signs seemed to point that Hikaru was into it as well.

Hikaru grabbed onto the handle of the door but didn't open it. He seemed to be grumbling to himself and Haruhi looked over at him confused.

"Hikaru, is everything alright?"

He let out a low grumble and let go of the door handle. "Fuck it."

He turned on his heels and marched right back up to Haruhi with a deep scowl on his face that made Haruhi feel nervous. Was he going to lecture her for trying to make a move on him? Or call her a horrible person for trying to kiss him when he is still getting over his girlfriend's death? God, she was such a terrible person!

"Hikaru, I'm-"

He cut her off when he grabbed onto her face and brought his lips down to meet hers in a kiss. Haruhi's eyes grew wide from the sudden action, but soon she closed them and began to kiss him back. The kiss at first felt a bit awkward because of how sudden it was, but when they both relaxed and followed each other's movements, the kiss was amazing. She's only kissed one other person before, well two if you count Kanako Kasugazaki, but she has never felt this much passion before in a kiss. It was as if all the feelings that Hikaru had built up from high school were being let out in this one kiss.

The passionate kiss soon turned hot and heavy between the two and Haruhi didn't even notice that the two of them were slowly walking towards the desk until her back bumped into it. Hikaru hoisted her up by the legs so she was lying flat on the desk and then began leaving a trail of kisses down her neck. She let out a breathless moan from the wonderful sensation. This felt different to her than when she had done it before with Tamaki. It was as if she had more adrenalin. She had never done anything like this in a public place where they could easily get caught. It was frightening, but also more arousing at the same time.

His lips met hers again and his body was almost lying on top of her. Haruhi could feel the aching between her legs and she knew she wanted him. She didn't plan on hooking up with him tonight, but fuck, that was all she could think about. She grabbed the waist of his pants and began to try and undo his belt, but she felt his hands stop her. He removed his lips from her and whispered in her ear.

"We can't, no matter how much I dying to fuck you right now. I don't have anything on me."

She immediately understood, but she needed him so bad and was tempted to just tell him that she was safe today, but she knew that bull shit meant nothing and didn't want to risk anything as well.

"However, I can do something else that might satisfy you for tonight. Only if you'll let me."

He purred the words in her ear and she felt her body shiver and goosebumps begin to run down her body and she let out a faint "Yes."

He kissed her again, but this time it seemed to be more soft and loving. She felt his right hand begin to travel down her body, cupping her breasts over her dress before continuing their way down to her skirt. She felt his hand go under and she gently stroked her panties where it was already damp and she couldn't help but let out a soft moan. She could feel his lips forming into a smirk and he continued to move his hand until he was inside her panties. His touch was soft, but he knew what he was doing. He wasn't just going straight to the entrance, he was actually taking his time so she could have the most pleasure. With each brush of his fingers over her made the pleasure wash over her more intensely than the last. Her hips began to grind, begging for more friction, but she knew he was toying with her. He was always that type of guy, but he was even more like that sexually.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of immense pleasure, she felt him slip in two fingers. She couldn't hold in the gasp that escaped her. Jesus Christ, was he good. If he was good with just his fingers that she was almost crying out in pleasure with each movement, she couldn't imagine how actually having sex with him was.

As if he knew she wanted more friction, he increased the speed a little to satisfy her. She then let out a squeak when she felt him bite her lip and a hint of a metallic taste hit her mouth. He separated from her and she could see blood dripping from the left side of his bottom lip, her blood…and fuck was it sexy.

That was what made her go almost over the edge as she began to feel the build in her abdomen of her release. Her breathing began to get ragged and she wrapped her arms around Hikaru's neck as he increased the speed even more.

"Let it go." He whispered in her ear, before leaving a kiss on the side of her head. "Cum for me."

As if he commanded it, Haruhi let out a loud cry as she climaxed. She felt her body begin to contract and shake as the euphoric pleasure coursed through her body. Once the intensity of the wave subsided, she looked up at Hikaru with dazed eyes and her lips formed a tired smile.

"Holy shit…" Was the only thing she was able to get out.

"See, you should've chosen me in high school." He snickered at her. "Then you would know what good sex is."

He kissed her again but Haruhi separated from him only after a few moments.

"Let me please you." She said. "I should repay you for what you've done for me."

He chuckled at that. "You don't need to repay me. This isn't some type of act where I require a payment back. Your moans were all the payment I needed." He leaned close to her again, the sly smirk still on his face. "However, if you really want to. I won't stop you."

Haruhi smiled at him and was about to reach back down to undo his belt when a knock on the door made her stop. Hikaru growled and stood straight up towards the door.

"Fuck off!" He yelled, not caring who was behind the door.

"Geez, don't get your panties in a bunch. It's just me." Renge scolded from outside the door. "Is Tomochika in there? He's been missing since the beginning of the party and nobody knows where he is."

"He's probably in the crowd of Ghostfaces. Look there." Hikaru grumbled, not happy with his and Haruhi's intimate time being interrupted by such a stupid question.

"He didn't dress up as Ghostface." She said. "He was dressed up as a pirate. He pre-gamed before the party and got drunk and nobody has seen him."

"Nope haven't seen him either."

Haruhi moved Hikaru out of the way and began walking towards the door. "Would you like us to help look for him?" Haruhi asked.

"Would you please? I would appropriate it, especially if there is no further complaint on the devil twin's part." Hikaru glared at the door as Renge said that. "According to some people, he hasn't been the same since he lost the two others from the newspaper club."

Haruhi went to open the door but Hikaru quickly stopped her. "Wait Haruhi, what if this is a trap?" He whispered to her so the "Renge" couldn't hear him. "It could be the killer trying to lead you out and hurt you. Remember, he has a voice changer."

Shit, he was right. Even though the school is heavily guarded right now, there is a slight chance this could be the killer, or maybe someone he threatened to work with him. She had to make sure the person was actually Renge. What was there something that only the real Renge would know?

"Renge tell me again what your newest doujinshi is about."

There was a moment of silence behind the door before Renge spoke again.

"Why are you asking this question all of a sudden?"

"Just answer it."

"Weird time to do so, but alright." She clears her throat as if she is preparing to give a speech. "It's a thriller about the son of a Yakuza family where he falls in love with a woman who gets murdered and avenges her death."

Haruhi could hear Hikaru let out a small sigh of relief. It really was Renge. No one else would have known about that story other than her since she never is without her notebook. Even if the killer did somehow get it, I doubt he would want to read it. Hikaru said he read some of it was wanted to wash his eyes out with bleach from how much smut there was in it.

"You two better not be writing down my idea! I already have it trademarked!"

"We won't, don't worry." Haruhi let out a small chuckle before opening the door to see Renge, dressed up as Nezuko from Demon Slayer. "We just wanted to make sure that you were actually Renge."

"I know my costume is amazing, but I promise it is still me." She flipped her long hair and posed with a wink. Haruhi just smiled at her and Hikaru rolled his eyes. She never really was good at cosplay, and tonight wasn't any different. But Haruhi wasn't going to say anything. "Now let's go find this drunk so we can get back to the party."

They followed Renge down the hall, back towards the ballroom. Where the party was still so lively. As they were walking, Renge looked over at Haruhi.

"What were you two doing all the way in that room anyways?" She asked.

"Oh…uh.." She looked over at Hikaru, who instead of helping her come up with what to say, just smirked at her.

'Jackass.'

"I was surprised by the sudden appearance from Tamaki. So, Hikaru took me there to get away from him so he wouldn't ruin my night."

"Ahh, yeah his appearance shocked me too. I had no idea that he would come tonight. I really thought…"

She was cut off when there was a loud screeching sound that was coming from the speakers of the ballroom. All the dancers looked around wondering what was going on and seemed to be looking up at something.

"The hell?"

The three of them raced down the hall to the ballroom where they saw that the projector that was playing clips of horror movies while people danced was now static. The DJ apologized and said he was trying to fix it, but he had no idea what happened with the projector and speakers. Then, all of a sudden the lights shut off, shrouding the room in complete darkness. People screamed at what was going on and Haruhi felt someone grab her and bring them close to them. She couldn't see who it was from the darkness, but she could sense that it was Hikaru holding her close to protect her. The projection then turned back on and as the video focused, it was clear that it was Ghostface.

"Hello, students of Ouran University." The killer greeted. Haruhi could hear the sounds of people cheering and clapping, thinking that this was planned by the DJ or school, but Haruhi highly doubted that.

"Now, I'm glad that you got the change in the invitations I made and you came dressed up as yours truly. I really am flattered. The original idea was such a bore. I'm glad that I was able to liven it up. However, that might not be the right use of words tonight now, would it?"

Eyes all around the room began looking over at Haruhi, whose eyes remained glued on the screen. Was this some kind of sick joke? Was someone doing this? Haruhi looked around and saw that the Ootori guards were beginning to search for where the killer could be, but since there were so many Ghostface's around, it would be impossible to locate where he was. However, it was evident that he was at the party from the background of the video. He was in the outside garden and from the faint music in the background, this was filmed not long ago.

"Now, sadly I can't make an appearance at the party because of security reasons, but I wanted to leave my mark on the night. Especially to that little Host Club of yours that keeps trying to meddle in my affairs! Take it as a warning to anyone who tries to get in my way!"

There was a loud sound as if something had dropped from the ceiling and in one quick movement, a body fell from up top and stopped, hanging right in front of the screen. A noose holding him up by the neck. The crowd screamed again and began trying to rush out of the ballroom. Hikaru kept Haruhi close and stood against a pillar so they wouldn't be dragged out or trampled by the crowd. She couldn't take her eyes off the body and that's when she noticed that it was Tomochika.

"Stay out of my way and nobody else will get hurt! This is all your final warning!" He snickered darkly as if he knew how the crowd was going to react. "I hope this was thekillerparty you were hoping for."

"Up there!" A guard yelled and pointed towards the ceiling, where a dark figure was standing on the window ledge on top. Haruhi could faintly see the figure leave out through the window and the guards all rushed out towards the back to follow them. Kyoya was right behind them, seething with rage. He was never the type of person who would follow his police force into danger, but Haruhi knew that he wanted to find the identity of the killer who had hurt and killed many people he knew and cared about. She just hoped he wouldn't get himself hurt. She heard Tamaki's voice in the crowd calling out for her, but she had no idea where it was coming from. Hikaru seemed to hear it as well and took ahold of her hand.

"Come on, let's go."

"But what about Kaoru? We haven't seen him yet."

"He texted me while we were in the room that he was outside with Kurakano and Kazukiyo. I just want to get you to safety before I go looking for him."

Without waiting for her to protest, Hikaru began dragging her towards the exit, away from the line of sight of Tamaki, who was still scanning the crowd from the staircase desperately trying to find her. However, unlike earlier, she didn't want him to find her.

"Over there!" Kyoya pointed left.

Tachibana nodded and made a sharp left around the corner and pushed on the accelerator. After a few weeks of taking some time off to clear his head, Tachibana decided to come back. With a new fiery vengeance in his heart to take down the killer. He won't let anyone else die on him. Not on his watch.

"There!" Kyoya pointed out a black Lamborghini that the killer had stolen that had crashed into a lamppost.

The killer most likely had his mask on while he was driving, so he had a hard time seeing while behind the wheel. The crash didn't look too bad, but he did hit the lamppost with enough power that it almost warped around the front of the car. Unfortunately, it seemed like the killer survived the crash by the open driver's side door, but he was now on foot. It would make it easier to find and catch him, especially if he was injured.

The police force that was following the two got out of their cars and began storming the Lamborghini, seeing if they could find any clues on where the killer could have gone. Kyoya got out with Tachibana and met up with them, however, while walking he noticed something glistening on the floor. He squatted down and examined it, and it was no doubt blood. His eyes followed to another spot on the floor, then another, and another. There was a trail leading towards an alleyway. Bingo.

"Over here," Kyoya told his police force. "There is a trail of blood leading towards him. Let's sneak up on him. If we charge all at once he'll know we're coming and flee."

"Yes sir!" They answered to his orders.

Honda used his flashlight to have a visual on the trail as they entered the dark alleyway. Slowly and quietly, they all followed the trail. From the amount of blood, it seemed like the killer must've gotten badly injured from the accident. Even if they spot Kyoya and his police, they were in no condition to run very far, or at all.

When they turned the corner of the ally, they noticed an almost bunker-like building, where the blood trail continued into. Kyoya had a few of the guards go towards the door to try and unlock it, but as they twisted the handle, to their surprise it was already unlocked.

"Careful, it might be a trap," Tachibana informed. "It can never be this easy."

The guards nodded before slowly opening the heavy door, revealing what looked like the killer's own bunker. On the walls there were maps and photos of the people of the deceased with X's and photos Kyoya assumed might be the next victims. Kyoya saw in the center of the board were pictures of the Host Club, Tamaki already had his face crossed out while on his photo… a knife was through it. But that wasn't what scared him. Just on the wall over, there was an entire shrine and altar of Haruhi. Pictures of her that were covered in hearts as well as words saying "You're mine." "My love." "HaruhiGhostface" and items from what he assumed were from her house. How was he able to get those from inside her house undetected? Ranka and Haruhi were either usually home and with 24-hour security they would notify if there was a stranger at Haruhi's apartment.

The sound of groaning caught their attention and Honda moved the flashlight towards the direction where they saw a figure slouched down on a chair. They had cornered him. In this bunker, other than the front door where Kyoya's police force was guarding, there was no other way out. They had gotten him. Kyoya could almost feel the wave of relief wash over him. Once the killer was behind bars, all the murders at Ouran will stop, and everything will be peaceful again. However, his mind wouldn't be at ease unless he knew who the killer's identity was right at that moment.

With caution, Kyoya walked up to the killer with Honda following close behind him. He flashed his light on the killer's mask, who groaned from the bright light.

"Now, let's see the coward underneath the mask."

Kyoya pulled the mask off in one swift movement and at who he saw, he was just confused, yet shocked. The person he unmasked, sitting in front of him would be one of the last people he would ever imagine doing something like this. Especially killing so many people for Haruhi.

"Toru Suzushima?"
