Hey there peeps, TheAwesomeCoolJay is back to give you another chapter in this story of messed up morals. Aw yeah, you saw the title of today's chapter you are about to learn everything that happen in the past. I apologize for the update being late but real-world events affect me in ways that mess up my writing, but don't you worry I'll never leave a story unfinished. The motto is to always finish what you started, let's begin!

Star vs. the Forces of Evil is owned by Daron Nefcy & Disney

Marco peeked out of his room to make sure his parents were nowhere around. Once he saw that they were not close by, he quickly but quietly closed his door and as soon as he did that his monster arm, Eddy, came before him.

"You mind telling me that plan again?" Eddy asked.

"Simple, we go help Star and her family take down Toffee!" Marco telling his friend the plan again.

"Just go and beat up some suited-up lizard... I love it!" The monster appendage replied with a happy smile. "Straight to the point, simple but effective."

"Right, glad to have my right hand man with me."

"Are you two always this corny." A random voice spoke.

That voice came from Marco's closet and the boy already knew who was in there. Using his monster arm to open the closet door, Marco was not surprised to see Janna standing there.

"Marco, Eddy." Janna causally greeting them.

"Hi Janna!" Eddy happily greeting back.

"Janna what are you doing back at my house, I thought you left with Jackie?"

"I was doing that, but then I thought about you." She explains but stops and blushes at what she said. "Y-You know just to make sure you weren't still sad." She finishes as she hides her face from him.

"Oh wow." The boy surprised to hear that. "You're a good friend Janna."

"And even better one by saying you aren't going to Mewni!"

"Janna I know you're looking out for me but-"

"Without taking me." Janna asserted.

"Say what now?"

"Come on Diaz, you really think you and your monster arm is going to be enough?"

"Haha Janna I like you, but we're the unstoppable team here." Eddy quick to shutdown Janna's chances of coming. "You're just a little girl."

"I am, but this little girl was able to snatch these interdimensional scissors from the unstoppable team."

Marco and Eddy were surprised to see the scissors were actually in her hand. The boy patted his hoodie and pockets to make sure they were actually gone, Janna actually got them away from him.

"That was good, but it's going to take more than sneaky hands to win a fight." Marco attempting to stop Janna.

"Then I'll improvise." She answers as uses the scissors to cut open a portal. "Off to Mewni!"

When she ran through the portal, Marco and Eddy looked at each other and gave up, the girl had them beat. Joining her through the portal, Marco saw that instead of Mewni he and Janna actually appeared in a more forest area.

"So Mewni's a forest kingdom?" Janna asked.

"No, we're here because we don't much about Mewni." He explains as he looks around the land. "I've only been here once and I've never seen the kingdom before."

"That means we'll be walking around and have no idea where to go."

"That is why you'll need me." A voice from the bushes said.

Marco quickly stepped in front of Janna and got ready to protect her, but once he saw the person come out of the bushes he lowered his guard and became very happy.

"Buff Frog!" He said as he and Janna ran to hug their friend. "It's been a while man!"

"Hope you're living somewhere better than a closet my guy!" Janna greeting the monster.

"I have a family now, living conditions have to be better." Buff Frog answered. "But enough about me, are you two trying to aid Star Butterfly?"

"Yes, if you can tell us where the kingdom is that would be great."

"I will, I will also aid in the fight against Toffee." Bulgolyubov explains. "I fear his control could endanger my children, speaking of children what do you intend two intend on doing while I fight?"

"Don't worry Buff Frog." Eddy introducing himself to the larger monster. "We intend to do a lot of damage."

"You have a monster arm now, neat."

As the four of them made their way to the kingdom, a person unknown to them was watching them from a tree and seemed to be following them. In the kingdom, the Butterfly family was running towards their old castle to confront Toffee. Moon still couldn't believe Toffee had the book of spells, every outcome she could think of and the worst one had to happen.

"I just wanted to protect Marco, I didn't want this to happen Mom!" Star cried out to her mother.

"Your heart was in the right place Star, we just need to hurry!" The Queen focusing on the more important matter. "We can only hope Glossaryck is distracting Toffee."

TheAwesomeCoolJay: Alright time for the best part of this chapter

In front of Butterfly Castle, Toffee, in possession of Ludo, stood before the book of spells and the being hovering over it, Glossaryack. There was a silence between the two, each had something on their mind but who would speak first?

"After all these years, I finally get to see you again and you have gotten smaller." The magical being breaking the ice.

"No jokes, just keep things professional." Toffee in a mid sour mood. "So did Moon tell Star the story of monsters and Mewmans?"

"To my infinite and somewhat limited mind, no." Glossaryck answered, but appeared to have more to say. "What was told was the history between you and Moon."

"Of course, don't tell her the entire truth just make all monsters the BAD GUYS!" The monster furiously shooting at the castle.

Many, many years ago in Mewni: The Reign of Queen Skywynne

As an infant growing up, Toffee was the sweetest little thing but all that changed when the Septarian grew up a little. Just a little, the monster was just a child living with a mother and father in a shabby looking hut. The Queen had recently begun taking over territories that belonged to monsters, so they had to improvise the best way they could.

"Why do they hate us?" A young Toffee asked.

Before the parents could answer, a loud bang was heard at the door, spooking the entire family. Both parents quickly moved the child under the table and instructed him to be quiet. As they went towards the door, it was eventually kicked open by soldiers of Mewni.

"Septarians you have been chosen for testing for the Queen's experiment to raise the dead!" The soldier told them.

They didn't even get a say in the matter since more soldiers came in and forcefully removed them from their home. Toffee remained quiet under the table but cried heavily as that was the last time he would see his parents.

The Reign of Queen Solaria

Grown up a bit more, could be at least considered an early preteen, Toffee and a group of monsters were running for their lives. Queen Solaria was the reason for that, this new queen had only one goal for her kingdom. The eradication of all monsters, and with her wand of aggression she could possibly achieve such a feat.

"Evil monsters stand still and face your judgement!" Solaria ordered as swung her sword at them.

"Evil, we weren't even near the kingdom!" One of the fleeing monsters screamed.

"Just keep running man!" Toffee responded.

Looking back, Toffee knew that they were not going to outrun her, so he had to think fast. Pulling a smoke bomb out of his pocket and throwing it to the ground, Toffee was able to temporarily slow down the monster carver and escape into a tree. The other monsters were not so lucky, with one big swing of her blade, Solaria was able to clear the smoke away.

"Now face justice!"

Toffee watched in horror as the Queen of Mewni killed the monsters. She killed her friends and Solaria did it all with a smile.

The Reign of Queen Comet

Peace between monsters and mewmans could of have been today, but in the midst of signing the Queen was killed by Toffee. There would be no treaty since that and the monster king Archduke Batwin was furious with his general. As the monster army walked away from the kingdom, the king stayed closed to his general to have a serious talk.

"Why, why?" It was all a sad Batwin could ask. "The war, the hate, all the bloodshed could of ended."

"You really think that fixes what these queens have done in the past?" Toffee laughed. "No, they have to feel what I feel, what we all feel?"

"Toffee-"

Before they could talk any further, a random magic beam was shot and took away Toffee's finger. All the monsters turned around and saw that it was Queen's daughter, Moon Butterfly, and she looked like she was going to kill someone. All the monsters scrambled as the princess shoot that spell again, Toffee and Batwin stayed together and hid in some bushes.

"I-It's not growing back?" The Septarian horrified to see that his finger did not grow back.

"We have to calm her down somehow, we don't need another dea-"

The monster king was silenced for good when the spell Moon shot went through his heart. The young princess assumed she got the monster who murdered her mother, so with finished she had more thing to do.

"Let that be a lesson to rest of you MONSTERS!" Moon shouted at the top of her lungs.

Toffee's rage rose to a new level after hearing that, but he still felt sad for the dead king in his arms.

"Don't worry my liege, I'll make this right, your dream will still happen."

Present day

"History was definitely unkind for you and all monsters Toffee." Glossaryck understanding Toffee's pain. "But did you have to be that unkind to Lekmet."

"Oh, did that upset you?" Toffee replied with a smile. "Did losing a child make you actually feel an emotion."

"Stop it."

"To my knowledge you never did spend any time with the commission, why care now?"

"Tread lightly."

"A little too late to be a father now since I already-"

Toffee because it felt like something was grabbing his heart, looking down it was exactly that. Glossaryack phased his hand through Ludo's body and literally had the heart of the monster in his hand.

"Do not think you are in complete control here." He told Toffee with his eyes flashing angrily at him. "I could end you right now, I can vegetate you, wipe you from this plane of existence, or worse."

Toffee was scared out of his mind, he never thought Glossaryack would do such a thing. And that's when he thought about it some more, and returned to his calm demeanor.

"But will you?"

"No." Glossaryack answered as he released the heart. "It is not my role to act on."

"That's what I hate about you, you and your black and white views on life!" The monster angrily said as he used his magic to start a fire on the ground. "Your constant neutral state has caused so many deaths!"

Toffee would soon pick up the book of spells and toss it in that fire, burning the book. As the book burned, Glossarysck would slowly fade with it, as that happen he looked at Toffee one final time.

"Goodbye Glossaryack."

"Yeah, this is goodbye, wished all that hate could of left you."

Those were his final words as he finally faded away and the moment that happen the Butterfly family arrived. The royal family watched in horror as their magical guide was gone and Toffee got ready for battle.

And here we are at the end, hoped you all liked this one. Really enjoyed explaining and creating a sort of backstory and motive to Toffee's actions. The best character has even more reason to be called the best.
