A Good Time
Jesse was in a small predicament. He wanted some extra alone time with Hanzo after the class ended, but Luna decided to linger and talk to him a bit. While the conversation was pleasant and all, he really didn't want to talk to her at the moment. So, he did his best to remain friendly and work on his painting as she spoke.
"Every day this week you've stayed late," Luna said, peering over Jesse's shoulder to see his work. "You've made great progress!"
"What can I say? When you gotta muse like that," he looked over his easel, meeting a steel gaze and a slight blush. "Anything is possible."
"He is one of my most popular models," Luna smiled at Hanzo, who stood there just as stoically as ever. "You know," she pulled up a stool and sat next to Jesse. "Even though he's the most popular, he is also the most grumpy. You must have done a number on him to get him to agree to stay late all week!" She giggled, lighting a cigarette.
"Grumpy?" Jesse smirked at Han, who was scowling at a laughing Luna. "I can see it."
Hanzo almost spoke up but decided to bite his tongue for the sake of hastening things. Grumpy? He never thought of himself as grumpy, but with some reflection, he supposed it fit. He wasn't one to smile or engage in friendly conversation, nor was he one to build connections. Except for this one.
"He doesn't talk much, and he always has this look to him, like he's angry!" Luna had things to do, but she wanted to sit and chat with the handsome American and hopefully get his number before she left. She was starting her next class on Monday, and she wasn't sure if he would be attending.
"That…!" Hanzo began, flustered. Why were they messing with him? He glanced at Jesse, who seemed to be amused by it all. When was Luna leaving? "Is just my face. Nothing more."
"Yeah, I know, you're secretly a softie," Luna blew out her smoke and contemplated pouring a drink, but she'd only end up staying longer and she had an appointment to keep. "You don't have to keep up the act."
"There is no act." Hanzo declared with a heavy sigh.
"Oh, there's an act alright," Jesse bored holes into him with his eyes, knowing that in mere hours, maybe even less, he would be pulling that silk off his body and eating him alive.
Luna almost thought they had a thing with the way they looked at each other! But she chalked it up to simple misinterpretation and brushed it off, jamming her cigarette into the nearest ashtray. "See, even our newcomer knows it's an act!"
Hanzo could feel Jesse undressing him with his eyes! His body temperature rose as he struggled to catch his breath, wishing they would just hurry up and get it over with! "There is no act," he repeated, screwing his eyes shut.
"Whatever you say," she giggled, directing her attention to Jesse. "By the way, I was hoping to get your number before I left for the day," she said hopefully. "There's a café I've been wanting to check out. Maybe we could go one day."
Ah, Jesse hated when he was right sometimes! He wasn't interested in her in that way, but he'd feel bad if he rejected her! "Uh, yeah, sure," he scribbled down his number on a piece of scrap paper and passed it over to her, glancing at a stoic Han. Maybe she wouldn't reach out. "But I'm gonna be honest, I ain't really lookin' for anythin' too serious, so don't get yer hopes up."
For some reason, it bothered Hanzo to no end to see Luna boldly flirting with Jesse, and even more when he said he wasn't looking for anything serious. He wasn't looking for anything to begin with himself, so why was he bothered?! He kept still, trying to hide his disgust as Jesse gave her his number.
"Oh, don't worry," Luna stood up and rubbed Jesse's back as she walked away to move chairs around. "I won't bite!"
Jesse just chuckled lightly, continuing his painting. Why did he get the feeling that Han was upset? There was no reason for him to be; he was the object of his desires. He hoped she wouldn't contact him, but he noticed her persistence. He was eventually going to have to shoot the poor girl down.
"Alright, gentlemen," Luna clapped her hands together, pleased with how well this class kept clean. "I have to get going," She glanced at Hanzo. "Lock up for me?"
Hanzo nodded, a bit more happy that she was leaving than he should have been. Now, he could cut this short and drag him up to his studio like he'd been wanting to all week.
"Thank you again," Luna smiled warmly. "I hope to see you soon, Jesse," she said playfully before she left, shutting the door on the way out.
Jesse immediately locked eyes with Han, sharing a knowing look with him as tension built up between them quickly. Clearing his throat, he looked at his painting again and fought the urge to snatch him up. "Why Friday?" He asked, unable to stand the silence.
"Is that your way of breaking the silence?" Hanzo asked, a slight smile on display. What Luna said was correct, Jesse had done a number on him, and they'd only just talked. Every day this week, he found himself excited to stay a few extra hours to get to know him, which was uncharacteristic of him, but he strangely didn't mind it. He learned a few things and found him very interesting, even the most mundane facts.
"It worked, didn't it?" Jesse grinned, checking him out for the umpteenth time. "So, why today? Not that I'm complainin'!"
"Because," Hanzo sighed. What was he supposed to say? That he anticipated being worn out to the point where he wouldn't want to do anything the next day? How embarrassing and eager would that sound? Instead, he came up with a quick lie in the hopes that he wouldn't catch on. "I do not like to interrupt my weekday routine."
"Or…" Jesse drawled, not buying it one bit! "You wanted to wait because—"
"Do not say it!" Hanzo whipped his head over, giving him a stern, yet embarrassed look. "I cannot hear it out loud!" His face darkened and he looked away when Jesse gave him his signature grin. He knew whatever was running through that head was nothing innocent.
"I like it when ya get all shy," Jesse teased. "Makes me wanna tease ya some more."
"Who said I liked being teased?" Hanzo kept a straight face as best he could.
"I think it's safe to say ya do. By me at least," Jesse got up and stood in front of him, noticing he was doing his best not to make eye contact, and it was almost comical.
"I happen to like my peace, thank you!" Why was he standing so close? Was he aware that his musk was driving him nuts?
"You like yer peace?" Jesse held his chin and turned his head so that he faced him. "Why don't ya let me disturb it a little, hm?"
Goodness, he had a way with his words that made Hanzo feel things. As if he were hypnotized, he stood on his toes and leaned in, closing his eyes and hoping to be enveloped by this alluring man.
Jesse had him in the palm of his hand and drunk from want, ready to give himself up, but not yet. Not there. "Whoa there, sugar," he put a finger to his lips, finding it hard to be strong. "Can't have my way with ya here in the classroom."
Hanzo scoffed, annoyed with both Jesse and himself. What just happened there? Why was he acting like a hormonal teenager, and why wasn't Jesse doing anything about it?! This was all too much for him to wrap his head around, but he was too far gone to care.
"No need to fret, darlin'," Jesse adjusted the silk draped on his shoulders, fingers itching to rip it from his body. "I'm ready to take ya somewhere when you are," he said into his ear, hand ghosting down his lower back.
Hanzo couldn't control himself, grabbing his wrist and leading him through the door hurriedly. He could feel his eyes on him again as he locked the door and pulled down the gate. "Follow me," he grunted out, pulling him around to the side of the building.
"I'd follow ya to the ends of the Earth, sweet pea," Jesse flirted, letting himself be dragged around the building. From the looks of it, he must have lived nearby. He didn't have any belongings with him, and he navigated the perimeter of the building as if their destination was close. It was when they stopped at a door on the far side of the building and watched him fumble with the keys that he realized he lived there!
Hanzo saw his look of surprise as he pushed the door open and stepped inside. "I have a studio on the seventh floor." He walked over to the elevator and pressed the up button, the doors opening shortly after.
"That's convenient," Jesse followed him into the elevator, amused as he jabbed the number seven repeatedly. He stepped up, reaching around him to press the buttons that closed the doors. "Better?"
Hanzo turned around, which was a mistake because Jesse was entirely too close to him! The only thing stopping him from jumping him right there was the camera! "J-Jesse…" He put his hands on his chest, halfheartedly pushing him away as he inched closer. "There is a camera," his voice was small as he pointed meekly at the camera in the corner behind him.
Jesse turned around, glaring at the camera as the elevator lifted them. He whipped back around and held his chin. "I can wait," he said in a deep voice, leaning in and smelling his neck.
Hanzo closed his eyes and let him do what he wanted, wishing he'd just get to it. It was clear the camera wasn't going to stop him, so why wasn't he advancing? It was driving him mad! Suddenly, the elevator dinged and the doors opened, and he rushed off, Jesse following closely behind him. "It is not far."
Jesse walked through the hallway, wondering how he came across this place and how he ran into Luna. It was clear to him from his slight accent that he wasn't from Italy, so what was his reason for being there? How long had he been a demon? His thoughts were cut short when Han stopped at a door, presumably his. He cocked his head to the side, watching him fuss with the keys again before finally getting his door open. How cute. He stepped inside first and looked around as Han closed the door behind them.
"It is not much, but it is a roof over my head."
Jesse understood that he probably didn't have much money if he was living in a small studio apartment like this. It was outdated and needed some work, but as he said, it was a roof over his head, so he couldn't complain. He turned around ready to pounce on an unsuspecting Han, walking toward him hungrily.
Hanzo turned and was ambushed by Jesse, being pinned against the wall by his wrists, a wide body flush against his own. As good as it felt, he thought they'd talk a little before jumping right into it! "Wh—"
"Ya shoulda expected this," Jesse crooned into his neck, pressing his lips against every inch of skin he could get to. Han was putty in his hands, his body very responsive to his actions. "What happened to all that shyness?" He asked before connecting their lips in a fiery blaze, fighting his tongue for dominance.
All Hanzo could do was stand there breathlessly while Jesse yanked the silk from his body, leaving him bare and uncharacteristically happy he wore nothing beneath. He let himself fall into it, kissing back with vigor he didn't know he had as his wrists were released, free to feel him up to his heart's content. He clung to him, afraid to admit it felt so good and that he wanted more. He was out of his mind. He had to be… right? To be swept off his feet by…
Jesse swirled his tongue around a hot mouth, hands fondling and squeezing his chest. When he pulled that silk off and revealed him in all his beefy, tattooed glory, he thought he'd died and gone to heaven! He'd never seen anything more like perfection than him! Their chemistry was amazing—as he expected it would be—and Han was just as eager, if not more so! He smoothed his hands down his torso and wrapped his arms around him, trailing his lips along his jaw and down his neck.
"J-Jesse…" Hanzo hummed out while he received foreign attention he didn't know he craved until now. He thrust his hips into him, the friction not nearly enough to satisfy his growing need. He groaned out in frustration, pulling his shirt out of his jeans. Why should he be the only one that was nude?
"Oh, this ol' thing?" Jesse pulled away with a grin, kissing him again before lifting his shirt over his head and tossing it to the side. He didn't miss the way Han ogled him, boosting his ego quite a bit. "Like what'cha see? Had I known you'd be this into it, I wouldn't have let ya wait," he chuckled deeply, going back in to continue the assault on his neck.
Hanzo did in fact like the muscled, tanned body now against him again. He relished the feeling of skin on skin while he undid his belt buckle and did his best to pull his pants down. "Take them off," he commanded breathily.
"Demandin', I see," Jesse drawled, still against his neck as he kicked his shoes off and stepped out of his jeans. Sliding his arms back around him, he had their lower halves pressed together and giving him that friction he so clearly wanted, grinding a hardness against his own. "Yer gonna be the death of me, you know that?" He muttered, making his way down his neck and dragging his tongue along his tattoo until he landed on his chest.
Hanzo had to admit, Jesse was incredibly passionate, just like Luna predicted. He laced his fingers through brown hair, letting his head fall against the wall as he moved his hands all along his body in worship, sucking and squeezing seductively. Pleasure of this caliber was never within his reach with a life like his, then along came Jesse, making him feel things he'd never felt before. How absurd was it that he wanted to keep him around?
Jesse sucked on a pink nipple, kneading the other pec in his free hand and paying homage to that perfect chest of his. Everything about him was so incredibly sexy, the way that dark blue and gold ink contrasted against scarred skin, his heavy breathing and quiet moans, the warmth of skin against his lips, even the hardness he felt, telling him he was doing something right.
With hands on his torso, he kissed his way down his abs slowly, admiring how perfectly sculpted he was. There was a reason he was a model, even if only for a small art class. It was when he looked down and saw him dripping, ready to burst at any given moment that he hummed with hunger, losing all rationality and taking him into his mouth swiftly.
Hanzo was caught off guard by how quickly he was swallowed whole, letting out a heavy moan and unintentionally pushing his head down further. "Jesse… I'm…" he breathed out, unable to hold himself back while he bobbed up and down. Suddenly, large hands gripped his butt and probed with a finger or two… or three, and he shivered, reaching his climax in record time.
Jesse was proud of himself for getting him off so quickly, but he was nowhere near finished. He looked up while he drank him down to the very last drop and saw his eyes full of lust, silently begging him for more. So, his stoic lover was a secret deviant? Hot. Licking his lips, he kissed his way back up his stomach and latched onto the other side of his neck, working himself out of his boxers. "Ready for the time of yer life?" He crooned into his ear, hard as a rock while he loosened him a bit more.
Hanzo draped his arms around him while Jesse found his sweet spot with only his fingers, unaware he could feel as good as he did. He nodded, still catching his breath when what little of it remained was stolen again by fervid kisses and a wandering hand.
Jesse knew he was moving a bit fast, but he couldn't help it! Han was so delicious, he could only imagine what being inside him felt like! He slid a hand down to his thigh, lifting his leg and putting it around his waist securely while he rubbed his girth between his cheeks. "I've been dreamin' of this moment since I first laid eyes on you," he said, nudging against a soft hole. "I'll be gentle."
Hanzo clutched onto him tightly as he was invaded in the most pleasurable way, a sturdy body rocking into him gently as promised. He called out his name in choppy breaths as he lifted his other leg, completely and shamelessly wrapped around him. Jesse had a good hold of him while he plowed, sandwiched between him and the wall and drowning in the tsunami of lust that permeated the room.
When Jesse sank into him, he nearly came as fast as Han did! However, he had some decent willpower and was able to hold back just enough to put both his legs around his hips and drive into him as if he were in heat. He wasn't sure what the deal was, but he never wanted to let him go! He slid his hand into onyx hair, holding him closely and grunting with each thrust, being sucked into him like a vacuum. "Ya feel so good, Han," he whispered, licking the shell of his ear.
"Jesse… p-please…" Hanzo gave in to the pleasure, tightening his legs and pulling him closer. Closer… he wanted him planted as deeply within him as he could be, driving him to ecstasy and back like he was so good at doing. He held his face, he was so damn handsome in the throes of passion, and he was taking care of him so well, he couldn't help but pepper him with kisses.
"Please what?" Jesse hummed in between smooches, loving how easily he penetrated those walls he had up. He held his chin and rested his forehead against his, slowing his pace and giving him long, deep strokes. He was begging for it, both verbally and physically, keeping him close with those strong legs and pleading for more. "Ya gotta tell me what'cha want, Han," he said, pushing in to the hilt with a grunt, stirring him up and kissing him sweetly. "Is that it? Ya want more of me?"
Hanzo hugged him close, not wanting him to see how needy he was as he whispered 'yes' eagerly. He took in the breezy scent of his soft, brown hair, the tender way he caressed his body, trying his best to hold back his moans and failing while Jesse gave him deep-seated thrusts. He matched his pace with his hips and whispered his name in a soft chant, another climax soon to be worked out of him.
"I like the way ya say my name, sugar tits," Jesse loved how clingy he was being and craved more of it. Turns out, Han was just as passionate in bed as he was! He pushed a few more times, reaching down and jerking him rapidly until his hand was a sticky mess. "Yeah~ get it all out," he sang, pulling out and releasing all over his stomach with a shudder.
Hanzo panted, trying to catch the breath Jesse had stolen with kisses again. He'd been showered with a feeling of bliss he never wanted to fade, from a man he never wanted to let go of, and it was all so overwhelming, intoxicating. He held on tight as he was carried to his bed, their lips still connected while their bodies melded together in an emotional array.
Jesse was nowhere near done with him. How could he stop with the way he clung to him? They rolled around on his bed, tangled in his sheets and their bodies mingling, fitting together like pieces to a puzzle. "Where've you been all my life?" He asked, his voice husky and wanting.
"The life I lived…" Hanzo breathed out, his turn to kiss a broad chest. His hands wandered, gliding down to his toned, firm butt, annoyed he still had his boxers on. He tugged at them, waiting for him to catch the hint and take them off completely. "Did not allow me to experience such things," he continued, lips on his collarbone.
"Aw, shucks," Jesse said, kicking his boxers off and rolling him onto his back, towering over him. His eyes were hazy with desire and asking to be held again, body language saying the same. "Well, I'll make sure ya feel this good on a regular basis," he said going down and nibbling on his ear, blood rushing back down to his lower half again. "If you'll have me, that is."
"Just…" Hanzo screwed his eyes shut and wrapped his legs around his hips again while he made uncertain promises, wishing he'd hurry up and give it to him again. As badly as he wanted to keep him around, how realistic was that? All he could do was cling to him now while he had a hold of him, savoring every last moment until it ended.
"Is that impatience I sense?" Jesse murmured while grinding his hips, ready to give him more of what he wanted. "Look at me, Han," he purred, meeting his gaze and entering him ever so slowly. "You like that?" He rumbled, kissing him feverishly and losing himself in the depths of his new lover.
"Jesse…" Hanzo cried out his name softly while he rocked into him back and forth, sweeping that spot so tenderly and sending chills throughout his body. He expected this to be an uncomfortable experience, to dislike every bit of it, but it was quite the opposite, and he could easily see it becoming a drug. Jesse was the drug, and Han was unaware of his addictive personality! "…more," he huffed out.
Jesse was certain Han had left a few scratches on his back, and he didn't mind in the least. If anything, he wanted him to leave more! He hooked his arms beneath him, holding onto his shoulders and using that as leverage to dig deeper. Baritone moans filled the room, lips crashing into lips, tongues battling tongues, skin sticking to skin in a sweet discord. He hadn't even noticed he'd picked up his pace, plunging into him with a grip on his hair and his mouth suctioned to his neck, surprisingly close to his second orgasm. Han was just that perfect.
Hanzo was completely out of it, in a daze while Jesse marked up his body both inside and out. He was such a generous, caring lover, he was amazed he hadn't been snatched up! His thoughts briefly landed on Luna, who'd displayed interest and even went as far as asking for his number. He didn't like that one bit! "Jesse… please…" he pleaded, holding his face and pecking his lips continuously.
Jesse wasn't sure what happened, but Han suddenly became extra needy and was kissing him all over, holding on to him for dear life. His hips jerked, and with a final thrust, he spilled into him unexpectedly, his body trembling and twitching from the amazing high. "Shit, Han!" He cursed into his neck apologetically, breathing heavily. "I didn't mean to… sorry 'bout that!"
"It is fine," Hanzo sighed as Jesse collapsed on top of him. He wasn't quite finished, but he could tell a break was needed. He was sure they'd be right back at it again soon, anyway. "You are heavy!"
"Heh, sorry hun," Jesse laughed, sliding out of him and rolling onto his back. "Got anythin' to drink in this place? Do ya even need to drink?"
Hanzo looked over at him, he truly knew what he was, and it didn't bother him. What a strange, interesting man. "No, but I like the feeling of hydration, so I drink plenty of water. And sake," he let the corners of his lips curl up ever so slightly. He had to drink to live the life he did. He was a drinker before and after death! "Feel free to make yourself at home."
"Is that any way to treat yer guest?" Jesse propped himself up with an elbow, grinning at him. "Especially one who just gave you the time of yer life?"
"You have two working legs, I am certain you can find something to drink," Han looked over at him playfully. He was easy to be around. It was refreshing.
"Mean!" Jesse swung his feet off the bed and stood, making his way to the kitchen and rummaging around the fridge. "Man, you weren't kiddin' 'bout the sake!" There were two cases crammed in there! He found the water and grabbed a bottle, closing the fridge and twisting the cap off. "Life that bad ya gotta drink yourself to sleep every night?" He joked.
"You say it to be humorous, but it is all too true," Hanzo said solemnly, staring at the ceiling for a few seconds before dragging his eyes up Jesse's naked body. He didn't get the chance to appreciate it until now, admiring the wide shoulders that connected to those arms that held him not long ago, his chest and abs, which were defined as if he worked on them consistently, his… rather large… he focused on the ceiling again with a blush. That monstrous thing was just inside him, and he was absolutely insane for wanting more!
Jesse finished the bottle of water with a satisfied exhale, sort of bummed out by his words. "Life of a demon ain't so glamorous, huh?" He plopped back onto the bed, getting comfortable and checking for messages.
Hanzo thought it was funny how comfortable he seemed to be, crawling into his bed and getting under the covers. He watched him check the screen on his prosthetic, wondering how long he had it. "Your arm, it is a phone too?"
"Yep," Jesse said, reading a text from Baptiste. Apparently, he was off the hook and was offered another gig in place of his last one. "Lucky son of a gun," he mumbled, turning off his screen and rolling over.
"Don't tell me you are tired," Hanzo scoffed as Jesse snuggled into him. "I would have thought you had a few more rounds in you."
"Oh, trust me, honey pie," Jesse put an arm around him, laying on his chest and more content and comfortable than he'd been in a long time. "I'm planning on keepin' you occupied all night. Just need to replenish some energy!"
"I am glad you had a good time," Hanzo had a feeling Jesse was planning on spending the night from the beginning, and he was looking forward to the company. Timidly, he embraced him, unsure if he should allow himself to be as happy as he was.
"But did you?"
"I did," Hanzo combed his fingers through brown tresses, silently praising his good looks. "Thank you."
"Does that mean I get to stay around?" Jesse walked his fingers up his chest, tracing his tattoo. "'Cuz I can't get enough of you!"
Hanzo sighed. "You want to stay around, yet you know nothing of my background or why I am what I am. Does that not bother you?"
"Nope! I figured things wouldn't have gone this way if you were out for blood," Jesse explained.
"Out for blood, you say," Hanzo focused on the ceiling again. How could he even bring it up?
"Speakin' of which… I gotta confession to make," Jesse wasn't sure how he'd take it, but if he didn't tell him, he'd die from guilt! "This class originally started out as a job."
Oh, looked like he brought it up himself! Han chuckled. "I know."
"What?!" Jesse pushed himself up, staring at him in shock. "You knew? How?"
"No one has ever come into that class with a gun," Hanzo stated plainly, cupping a surprised face with amusement. "I caught a glimpse of it on the first day as you were leaving. When you came back the next day without it, I knew you were weak."
"Weak! Ha!" Jesse boomed with laughter. He had jokes! "I just thought you were pretty, an' couldn't bring myself to kill ya! Why do people want ya dead, anyway?"
"I came from a clan that knew things, I am the remaining member," he shrugged, happy to be free of that lifestyle. "It seems someone caught wind of my existence, and I am assuming the same people who killed my clan want me dead completely. Unfortunately for them, I can never die. I've tried."
Jesse just sat there, getting even more bummed out. What kind of life did Han live for him to be born as a demon that can't die? Why was he cursed to live like this? And to hear he tried to kill himself only made his heart break for him. He wanted to heal his pain.
"Do not give me that look of pity," Hanzo grumbled. It was one of the main reasons why he never opened up to anyone; he didn't want the forced pity. But Jesse… he was different. He was easy to talk to. "I have had the time to come to terms with the consequences of my actions. There is no need to feel remorseful."
"Listen," Jesse sat on his knees, giving him a serious look. "I know we just met, but I don't ever wanna hear that you've tried to kill yourself again. I'll find ya and tie ya down myself if I hafta!"
Hanzo let out a sharp exhale through his nose. "You do not understand. I do not expect you to."
"It don't matter," Jesse took his hand, locking their fingers together. "Whatever happened is in the past now. I dunno the circumstances, nor do I need to, but it looks like you got yourself a second chance at life, an' there's someone in this one who cares about ya. I get the feeling you didn't get that when you were alive."
"I do not deserve…" Hanzo trailed off, unwillingly tearing up at the thought of his life. And then, Jesse came in and shook everything up, making him crave these ridiculous emotions! Things were easier when he didn't have to like or love anyone, but he knew if he gave in to whatever Jesse was blasting at him, he'd fall for him in a heartbeat. "I was not a good man when I was alive."
"Like I said," Jesse leaned down and kissed him passionately. "That don't matter. What matters is now, an' how I feel about you, an' how you feel about me. Just let it happen, an' you'll see I'll take good care of ya."
"Jesse… I have done things that cannot be forgiven," Hanzo barely noticed the way he latched onto him, and he didn't care. If someone was willing to accept him for all that he was, he'd embrace it… with much hesitation, but he'd embrace it nonetheless!
"Hun, I gotta fair share of blood on my hands, I ain't one to judge," Jesse murmured into his neck, wanting him to let down those walls he was trying to put back up. "Talk to me. Tell me what's holding you back."
"I…" Hanzo was weakened by his sweetness, ready to tell him everything. But would he look at him differently after knowing the truth? If so, so be it. He had nothing to lose, no attachments to this man yet… so why did the thought scare him? He looked into promising eyes and saw nothing but care and acceptance. How could he not open up?
"Don't burden yourself with things ya can't change, darlin'," Jesse positioned a pillow against the wall and sat back, sliding Han into his lap and putting his arms around him.
Hanzo leaned back, Jesse's embrace warm and comforting. He felt as if he could tell him anything. "My brother… he was murdered by my hand, and there is no one to blame but myself."
Jesse processed his words for a few seconds, understanding finally why he was so depressed. "Now, I don't know ya that well, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you didn't have a choice. I'm a pretty good judge of character, an' I don't think you have an evil bone in yer body."
"You are intuitive," Hanzo couldn't help but smile a little. He did feel a little better after saying it out loud. Perhaps this was what he needed to let go of. "The Shimada clan was notorious for killing first, asking questions later. They were not ashamed of their actions, and brazenly got rid of anyone who stood in their way. As the first son, I was required to learn the ropes and eventually take over. So, I learned the ins and outs at a young age, training to be an expert swordsman and archer before the age of ten."
"A life void of love, huh?" Jesse held him tighter, kissing his shoulder as he spoke. He wanted to give him what he never got to experience.
"I am not sure I even know what love is," Hanzo admitted. "When the time came to take over, I was told to make my younger brother comply, however, he was resistant. My father… he told me if I could not get him to cooperate, to erase him from the world because he knew too much. If I did not…" his words were choked up, tears threatening to fall. "It was either him or me."
Jesse stayed silent while Han cried softly. He'd been bottling this up and needed to get this out!
"When I held that sword, I felt almost nothing," Hanzo couldn't stop the words from tumbling out of him. "Love?" He scoffed. "He was just a kid, wanting to live a normal life. Who was I to play God and rob him of that?"
"Han," Jesse combed his fingers through his hair and moved it to the side, kissing his other shoulder. He knew how hardcore Japanese gangs could be. It couldn't have been easy growing up like that, for any of them. "You had no choice."
"Days later," Han continued. "There was a raid. By then, I had been going through the motions and was too distraught to fight with the others. I realized the heaviness of what I had done, and I could no longer live with myself…" Hanzo sniffled, fully crying by now. "I was the remaining survivor of the raid, but not for long afterward. I plunged the same sword through my own stomach to end my suffering, only to be cursed!"
Suicide. It all made sense to Jesse now. He wasn't too religious, but he knew what was a sin and what wasn't… mostly. But to be a demon that couldn't die? Whoever got ahold of his soul must have been in a bad mood! He kissed his neck in an attempt to soothe him. "I wouldn't call this a curse. If it weren't for that, we never woulda met."
"When I stood for judgment, I was told that I would originally be condemned to Hell because I committed suicide," Hanzo sighed heavily. "But I suppose after looking over my life, he changed his mind and cursed me to be a demon, unable to be killed. He told me, that because I tried to avoid dealing with the consequences of my actions, I would be forced to live on Earth with all of my memories and regrets."
Whoa. That was one hell of a punishment! It pained Jesse to know he wouldn't be around forever to keep him company, but the least he could do was be there for him now.
"Unfortunately, that is not all, Hanzo shook his head. "Are you familiar with the seven sins?"
"I know 'bout 'em, why?"
"I call it a curse because I was made to be a demon of lust. How ridiculous! I never cared for such trivial emotions when I was human!" Hanzo huffed, frustrated. He should have known it was going to come back and bite him in the butt!
"It all makes so much sense now!" Jesse put the pieces together, getting his answer as to why he was so into him. "You seduced me!" He laughed.
"I did nothing of the sort!" Hanzo rolled his eyes. "If anything, it was you who seduced me! All week, you have been looking at me like you want to eat me!"
"Only 'cuz yer hotter than fire, babe," Jesse flirted. "I'd spend my days buried inside ya if I could!"
"Nonsense," Hanzo darkened a shade, his body tingling from memories of previous activities.
"Not nonsense, Han. Luna picked you for a reason," Jesse felt him up, squeezing his chest.
"While lust comes in many forms, I will admit, I am aware of the emotion I bring out in their art. I tried to channel my… curse… into modeling, hoping I could keep something like this from happening. I just thought the tables would be turned!" Hanzo was surprisingly able to find light after putting it all out there. He felt a lot lighter, and he could breathe for once in a long time. "And if I remember correctly, Luna asked you for your number, not me."
"I can't help it that I'm irresistible!" Jesse boasted proudly. "Don't be jealous, cutie pie, she ain't really my type."
"And I am?" Hanzo questioned. On the first impression, he would never have thought Jesse swung that way, but the moment he looked at him the way he did?
"You check every box, darlin'," Jesse whispered into his ear. "She could never compare," he turned his head, speaking against his lips.
"You will turn her down?" Hanzo closed his eyes and leaned into him, hypnotized and ready to be consumed again.
"Of course," Jesse wanted to reassure him as best he could, and what better way than to shower him with affection? "Doubt me?"
"I am not sure yet."
"I'm a man of my word," Jesse let his tongue barge into his mouth heatedly. "Trust me."
"I will hold you to that," Hanzo turned around on his lap and sat facing him, draping his arms around his neck.
"How'd you two meet, anyway?" Jesse asked, appreciating the way he was grinding against him.
"When I woke up, I was here in Italy," Han explained, holding his face and studying each detail. "I wandered for a bit, and she saw me from afar and approached me, going on about my potential and whatnot. She told me that she knew exactly what I was as soon as she saw me, yet she did not pry and ask for my story. She told me she would provide me with a safe space as long as I modeled for her class. I had nothing to return to, so I accepted."
"She knows yer a demon? How'd she figure that out?"
"I do not know. I did not ask. At the time, I was stunned and thankful for her generosity," Hanzo considered Luna a friend, quite possibly his first friend ever. While they didn't talk that much, he could tell she was genuine and kind. "She provided me with this studio apartment to live in until I get on my feet, but… I have been quite comfortable, and she has mentioned that I was a good investment. I have no plans of leaving anytime soon."
"So, she's payin' yer rent?" Jesse asked incredulously.
"She owns the building. I assume this is not costing her anything."
"Sounds like ya got an angel watchin' over ya," Jesse hummed, his energy replenished enough to give it to him again. "Now ya got me, an' I accept ya, flaws an' all."
"An angel watching over a demon, how asinine," Hanzo reached down and rubbed them together, Jesse's deep breaths and hums of pleasure vibrating through his body. "But you are right. I have you now. As foolish as it is for me to wish to hold onto you, I do not want to let you go," he lifted his hips and lined himself up, holding his shoulders.
"Oh, darlin'," Jesse lowered him with a hiss, coasting his hands all along his back when he was fully inside. "Yer killin' me."
"Do not leave me, Jesse," Hanzo begged, moving up and down and caressing his face compassionately.
"You ain't gotta worry 'bout that at all, sweet cheeks."
