A week had passed since the battle against Lance, during that time Jake and Diane were busy preparing something, something that they wouldn't even tell the others about. Right now they're walking down back to the theatre after collecting a few things.

Jake: This should be last of what we need.

Diane: yeah, i hope they'll like the surprise.

While halfway there to the theatre they pass through a man in a white long collar coat, wearing a black fedora. Little did they know that man was Prof. L in disguise, he was sent out to hunt them down and by the moment they passed him without knowing who he was, he saw them and followed them behind their tails.

When Jake and Diane finally made to the theatre and entered through the doors, Prof. L who was hiding on a siding placed a tracking device on the door and quickly made a run for it, he stopped at a cafe to call Mr. Vin.

Prof. L: *takes his phone out*

Mr. Vin: So? Is the tracker set?

Prof. L: Yes sir, the coordinates will be sent to your GPS soon.

Mr. Vin: Good, we'll strike at midnight.

Prof. L: roger that sir. See you in a minute.

Minutes later, The inhabitants where walking down the hallway, Eis was going on about something he had in mind.

Iben: so remind me Eis, what are we doing again?

Eis: well you see, two days ago i saw our boy Jake in his room with something surprising.

Flashback*

Eis opened the door to Jake's bedroom where he saw Jake holding a wedding ring, he held in his hands so that no one will find out

Jake: I'll be ready, for you my love.

He placed the ring in a small box and closed it, then he stuffed it in his pocket as Eis quickly got away before Jake could spot him peaking through the door.

End of Flashback*

Haoyu: so that's what you found out Eis?

Eis: you betcha kiddo! I'm working on a plan to give our man Jake a helping hand to get him to tell Diane to marry him.

Cal: Eis you're a firefighter, not a match maker.

Jose: He's right, i don't think it would be best to get involved in their relationship, they do love each other.

Iben: and as a married woman i suggest you should Jake develop naturally till he's ready.

Attilio: Yeah, I doubt you'll be able to pull off a good plan.

Eis: which is why you guys are gonna help me.

Cass: say what?!

Then they saw Leo and Emma walking up to them, Emma had Diane's rainbow heart badge in her hands.

Leo: hey guys, have any of you seen mom or dad?

Emma: Mom dropped this and we're bringing it back to her *shows them the rainbow heart badge*

Lucy: we heard they're in the stage room preparing for something.

Yuri: You might find them both there.

Leo: Got it, Thanks aunt Lucy, you too sis

Leo and Emma head down to the stage room where Jake and Diane were bound to be.

Eis: let's follow them guys, let's see what those two love birds are up to.

Attilio: Eis, whatever toy're thinking of doing i suggest you don't do it.

Eis: Relax, it's still a work in progress so you won't have to worry to it's finished.

Fiona: *sigh* and that's what worries me...

While the other inhabitants followed Eis, Leo and Emma entered into the stage room where they saw Jake and Diane setting up streamers. Jake and Diane turn to see the two kids.

Jake: oh! Hey kids.

Emma: hi Mom, hi dad.

Leo: so what are you both doing now? Are guys throwing a party?

Diane: yeah, our fight against Lance was really tough, so he suggested this because he believed we deserve a break and to have some fun

Diane then notices her Rainbow heart badge in Emma's hand.

Emma: you dropped this in the hallway. *gives the badge to Diane*

Diane: aww, Thanks sweetie.

Emma: your welcome Mom.

Diane: i'm so proud to have you as my daughter, hehe.

The mother gently rubs her daughter's head.

Leo: you know, it ain't easy to set up a party by yourselves, let us help.

Jake: but don't you guys have to help Haoyu fix his plane?

Leo: it wasn't in much of bad shape, we're already done.

Jake: I see, we'll let both help us out, after all we gotta lot of things to prepare.

Diane: Yeah, *giggles* this party will be at full swing tonight.

Leo: you can count us mom and dad, we're here for you both.

Jake kneels down to Leo's height and pats his back.

Jake: Heheh, Atta boy, that's my son.

Leo: *chuckles* thanks dad.

Emma: now then Mom and Dad, what would like us to do?

Jake: now let me see what's needed to be set up...

While Jake was looking for job Leo and Emma to do, the inhabitants were looking at them behind the door that was left open.

Eis: Jake is doing pretty good on his own.

Attilio: then there's no need for us to get involved, let's go.

Eis: we can't leave yet, i still think this love needs a little push and since i can be a bit pushy, i'm just the one that makes sure Jake wins Diane in marriage, game, set and match

Sana: oh boy...

Eis and the others walk into the room as Jake, Diane, Leo and Emma turn to see them.

Eis: *clears throat* why hello!

Leo: oh, Hey guys.

Eis: we were passing by when we overheard you talking about the party.

Bruce: (i'm afraid i know how this is going to end)

Eis: so if you don't mind, we'd like to help out too.

Cass: like Leo said, "it ain't easy to set up a party by yourselves"

Emma: thanks a lot you guys.

Diane: we accept your offer, right honey?

Jake: i'm not sure sweetie, something tells me this isn't a good ide-

Eis wraps his arm around Jake's shoulder before he could finish.

Eis: don't be negative now man! All we're asking is for you and your love to invite us to the marriage.

Jake: the what?

Eis: Ack! *quietly* nevermind...

Attilio: (*sigh* Oh Eis you unfortunate sponge cake head)

Eis: (Seeing how Jake and Diane are in love with each other, i got a hunch Jake would still have that ring in his pocket and that he'll be near Diane while helping out in the party. So for my plan, we're going to stage a bogus blackout, that's when me and Haoyu will give love a helping hand, after Jake and Diane stand close to each other for a few seconds i'm certain he'll pull out the ring and say "Diane, will you marry me?" And that's when the sparks will really start flying! We'll call it 'Operation: marriage at midnight')

Eis: *laughs*

Jake: ok Eis, you and guys can help us, just as long as there isn't any funny business.

So everyone got to work on preparing the party for tonight. Leo and Haoyu were working the speakers for the music. Diane, Emma and Fiona were hanging up streamers. Iben and Cal were cooking the party dishes in the kitchen. Yuri, Jose, Eis and Bruce were setting up the lights and disco ball for the dance. Sana and Attilio were making invitations for everyone who is invited and Jake, Yuri and Lucy were painting and setting up the stage props for Cass's play.

Eis looks at Jake and Diane to see where they are now.

Eis: arlight, time to put the plan in action.

Eis signaled to Haoyu as pulled the power switch, setting the room into darkness.

Eis: Let's move!

Haoyu: ok!

Eis grabbed a stage light and Haoyu grabbed a speaker, even though they were supposed to grab Jake and Diane, but they just ran towards each other, bumping on impact because they couldn't see in the dark.

When Jake found the power switch and turned the lights back on, everyone gathered to see Haoyu and Eis knocked down on the floor after bumping into each other.

Fiona: Haoyu! Eis! Are you guys ok?

Jake: you guys know it's dangerous to run in the dark.

Eis: even the best plan can blow up on ya *groans*

After that, everyone got back to work on their jobs of preparing the party, while Eis was with Attilio in a corner, Attilio believes Eis should stop his match making plots.

Attilio: are you ready to give up now?

Eis: i'm just starting get warmed up old buddy, no matter what it takes i'm gonna make sure that true love triumphs.

Attilio: you should their love relationship develop naturally.

Eis: my next scheme is so perfectly plotted it can't fail, all i need is for you to drop the hanky!

Attilio: but Eis-

Eis: do it!

Attilio *sigh* fine...

Attilio stands next to Diane who is still hanging up streamers with Emma and Fiona, till Jake walks up to her.

Jake: hey sweetie.

Diane: yes honey?

Jake: Do you know where Cass left the green paint? Lucy can't find it on stage.

Eis was at a distance from them.

Eis: (quietly) go!

Attilio drops a hanky while making it look like Diane, Jake then picks it up.

Jake: you dropped your hanky Diane.

Diane: but that's not mine.

Fiona: well whoever this belongs to, they really need to drop it in the wash.

Emma: look, there's something embroidered there.

Jake reads what is embroidered on the dirty hanky.

Jake: E-i-s G-l-o-v-e-r.

Attilio faints knowing the plan was a bust.

Emma: Attilio are you ok?

Jake turns to see Eis.

Jake: Eis, i think you should get this thing disinfected

Eis: (blushing) Yeah, i'll do that

Eis and Attilio met back at the corner.

Attilio: i'm gonna get involved in any more of hanky panky.

Eis: i can't believe how Jake keeps blowing the opportunities i've given him.

Attilio: for a firefighter, you certainly are clueless!

Meanwhile, everything had all set up and ready for the party.

Diane: thanks so much you guys, we never would have finished without you all, we owe you guys.

Jose: there's no need to thank us.

Bruce: Jose is right my dear, we all enjoy each others company.

Yuri: a single second with you mom is worth so much more than fortune.

Jake: Yuri's right sweetie, if there's one thing that's most precious to me more than anything else, it's being with my family.

Diane give Jake a sweet kiss.

Diane: i love you Jake.

Jake: i love you too Diane.

Lucy: awww, they're so cute together.

Iben: C-Cal are you crying?

Cal: (sobbing) n-no, i'm just so heart touched!

Iben pats Cal's back to help him feel better.

Iben: there there Cal.

Attilio: well Eis, i'd say there's no need for you to turn up the heat, unless you wanna get burned again.

Eis: you're right, who i am to do such tom foolery?

Jake: ok everyone, let's get this part started!

Hours later when it was now midnight, the party was at full swing and everyone was having the best time of their lives.

Balan: ahaha! You both do a splendid job preparing this magnificent party!

Lance: indeed, you and your friends have proven to be great party folks.

Diane: Aw it's nothing, we wouldn't have done without our favourite family.

Jake: She's right, us both, our son and daughter, and the rest of our family were untied together to make this possible.

Balan: i'm so proud of you son, cheers!

Jake: cheers!

Diane: cheers!

Lance: cheers!

As they clinked their glasses and drank their juice, a loud banging was heard which made everyone stop moving. Leo and Emma walked up to Jake and Diane who were with Balan and Lance.

Leo: dad, what's going on?

Jake: I'm not sure, but Balan and i are going to check.

Emma: ok, we'll stay here with mom.

Jake: i'll be right back, let's go Balan.

Balan: right behind you!

While everyone was in concern of where that loud banging was coming from as Jake and Balan went to investigate, it was coming from the front entrance of the theatre, Jake looked out the window to see something he never expected to see again, it was Mr. Vin with Prof. L, La selene, Leonard and the rich couple that he had been saved from too! Mr. Vin was banging on the door, demanding for someone to answer.

Jake: *gasp* oh no.

Balan: but how? How did they find us?

Jake: i don't know but...Father, do you think you block the door with those crates over there to buy me some time.

He points to a stack of wooden crates on the siding.

Balan: Yes, but what about you son?

Jake: i have to warn the others, be careful!

Balan: you too!

Balan uses the crates to make and barricade to block the door as Jake quickly ran back to warn Diane and the others, Mr. Vin started to try to force open the door by slamming an iron pole on it like a battering ram.

Jake warns everyone about Mr. Vin and his crew outside at the entrance trying to get inside, everyone was shocked to hear about this.

Diane: but, h-how did they know where to find us?!

Cal: this can't be! How is this possibe?!

Emma: dad, a-are we gonna be okay?

Jake: don't worry sweetie, i promise we'll be ok.

Balan then came rushing into the room where Jake and the others were.

Jake: how long do we have?

Balan: not long! Jake! Diane! Bring your friends with me right now! Lance! Get everyone else to safety in wonderworld!

Lance: you got it!

Doing as they were told, Lance quickly guided the costumes and Princess Merry to the train to wonderworld where they could hide safetly, while Jake, Diane, Leo, Emma and the inhabitants followed Balan into an empty room where he opened up a portal that would lead them to a different place, Balan told them to enter through as they did so one by one.

Jake: Father, i don't to leave you but, please be careful.

Balan: you too my son.

Diane steped through the portal with Leo and Emma in her arms as Jake went in after them. Then when Balan could hear that Mr. Vin had finally gotten in, Balan quickly made the portal disappear and teleported into wonderworld where Mr. Vin and his crew wouldn't be able to find him.

After a search around the theatre with no sign of Jake, Diane, Leo, Emma of the inhabitants, he was stressed he couldn't find them, luckily he didn't find the gateway nor train to wonderworld, and so he and his team decided to call it a night as they left the theatre.

Meanwhile after jumping through the portal that Balan had summoned, Jake was falling from the sky as he hit a tree during the fall, the branched caused a few scratches on his body and after hitting the ground on the grass, he was out unconcious and so was the others who had walked through the portal with him.

Then there were two drivers on a blue e2 tank engine with the number one on it's side who had spotted Jake and his friends lying on the ground unconcious, they helped them by carrying them inside two brown coaches their tank engine was pulling.

Driver 1: oh deary me, these poor fellas must have taken a hard one.

Driver 2: i agree, poor chaps.

?: we must get them to the hospital center right away

The blue train blows his whistle as he starts chuffing and puffing his away on the rails to the hospital.

Jake and his friends have made it out safe, and Balan and the others are safe too. Now the question is 'where are Jake and his friends now?' Find out in chapter 22
