After that night when Mr. Vin had invaded the Balan theatre, Jake regained conciousness the next morning when he woke in what appeared to be a hosipital.
Lifted his head up and looked around the place, he noticed plasters over the cuts and scratches he got after hitting the tree branches, he saw Diane sitting on chair with Leo and Emma in the waiting room, then a doctor came in.
Doctor: ah, you're awake sir.
Jake: y-yeah but...where am i?
Doctor: this is the sodor hospital centre. This is where we take people who have been harmed to make them feel better.
While the doctor was going over the autopsy report of Jake's injuries, Jake remembered what had happened last night, The preparing for the party, Mr. Vin invading the theatre and going through the portal created by Balan which led them here.
Doctor: now then sir, i would like you to sign this form.
Jake: Ok Doc, i will.
After signing the form, Jake went out to the waiting room where Diane, Leo and Emma were glad to see that he was ok, despite the fall last night.
Leo and Emma: Dad!
Diane: Sweeite!
They all ran up and hugged him. Jake hugged them back to show he was glad they were ok too.
Jake: I'm so glad you guys are ok.
Leo: we're glad that you're ok too dad.
Diane: we were worried about you.
Jake: it's ok honey, i'm here now. Say... where are the others?
Emma: oh some engines offered them a tour around sodor.
Leo: which is the name of the place we're in now.
Jake: i see, let's head out and see where they are.
The four of them walked out of the hospital to witness a fresh sunny afternoon, where the birds are singing out in blue sky and engines were chuffing and puffing happily along the rails.
Emma: Wow, look at those trains!
Leo: i didn't know steam trains are running on the rails these days in this place.
Jake: to be honest i too believe steam trains were put out of order for good, but whoever runs this railway must really know how to keep his steamies going.
Then a whistle of a steam engine was heard, when a blue E2 tank engine with the number 1 on his side.
?: Oh hello! You've all been healed up in the hospital.
Jake: that's right, i'm Jake, and this Diane, Leo and Emma.
Diane: Hi.
Leo: nice to met you.
Emma: hello, mr. Train.
?: Nice to met you all too, i'm Thomas.
Jake: nice to meet you Thomas. Say, where you the one who brought us here to the hospital center?
Thomas: that's right, last night when i was returning back to tidmouth sheds with annie and clarabel, my driver spotted you and your friends under a tree, we stopped to get a closer look, it was then we found you and your friends were hurt, so my driver brought you all inside annie and clarabel, then i took you all to the hospital center.
Leo: i see, have you seen our friends around Thomas?
Thomas: They've been taken by a few engines who offered to give them a tour around sodor, there's so much to see around the island, would you like me to take you all around the island?
Emma: oh yes please Thomas, we would like to see more of this place.
Leo: I'm with Emma, i'm interested in this island, i wanna see what there is.
Diane: me too!
Thomas: hop on aboard! There's lots to see!
Jake and his friends hopped into thomas's cabin, as he puffed he way to show his new friends around the island of sodor, he showed them around knapford, Wellsworth, vicarstown, maithwaite, The blue mountain quarry, the sodor search and rescue centre, brendam docks, the china clay works, the sodor animal park, arlesburgh, the steamworks, diesel works, ulfstead castle, the duke and duchess of boxford's summer house and timouth sheds.
During their tour around the island, Jake and his friends were introduced to the many friendly engines including the one's that took their friends on tours around the island while meeting up them.
Percy took Haoyu and Fiona to Harwick beach, Gordon took Cal and Lucy to Ulfstead castle, Emily was with Iben and Cass alongside her kitten in vicarstown, Rebecca was showing Jose, Attilio and Bruce around arlesburgh, Yuri and Sana were with Nia in the sodor animal park and Eis was brought to the sodor search and rescue centre by James.
After the tour, Thomas dropped Jake and his friends off at knapford station, for he had work to be doing.
Thomas: i've got to go now, see you later! *blows whitsle*
Jake: thanks for the tour Thomas!
Emma: We really enjoyed it!
Thomas puffs out of knapford station. Hours later, the inhabitants met up with Jake and the others at knapford, they were having a little discussion of what to do know.
Iben: after those tours the engines here offered for us, we now know every location on the island.
Bruce: that's right, we had a really delightful time seeing the wonderful sights.
Haoyu: but will still need a place to live.
Emma: yeah, it was quite scary when Mr. Vin broke into the theatre last night, I just hope uncle Balan and the others are safe.
Leo: don't worry sis, i know they're gonna be ok, but i think we need to keep ourselves hidden for Mr. Vin for sometime.
Jake: Leo's right guys, it's best that we lay low for while from him, and that we don't try to get anyone else involved in our situation.
Eis: i'm with Jake, us being hunted down by an evil man is bad enough, but getting others involved is far beyond worse.
Sana: agreed, we don't want these innocent folks getting into our trouble.
Jose: so let's split into pairs of two and find places for us to live in.
a horn was heard when a green and yellow diesel boxcab named Philip approaches them*
Philip: Oh! I can help with that! I know some good places around the island you can live in.
Yuri: You do? Thanks so much Philip!
Attilio: we really appreciate the help Philip, can you take us there now?
Philip: sure! I've got all my jobs done for the day, so i'm all yours now.
Leo: let's get going.
Jake and his friends hop aboard the coach Philip brought with him, Philip honks his horn and sets off to take them to their new homes.
Emma: mom, Dad.
Diane: Yes honey?
Emma: where do you think we're going to be living in?
Jake: i'm not sure, but i know we'll be safe in where we'll be living in for now.
While they all continued to chat, Philip arrived at a house for sale in Harwick near the beach, Fiona and Haoyu decided this would be their home in sodor.
Fiona: This place will do just great!
Haoyu: thanks for the lift Philip!
Philip: anytime!
Fiona: take care guys, we'll be here if any of you need us.
Diane: ok! Take care Fiona!
Leo: you too Haoyu!
Haoyu: thanks guys! Same goes to you all!
Fiona and Haoyu stepped out of the coach and into their house in Harwick Beach, there was no need to pay since Jake was able to get permission from Sir Topham Hatt to have his friends live in sodor.
As they waved at Fiona and Haoyu, Philip moved on to the next place for Jake's friends to live.
Cal: Thanks to you Jake my boy, we have the permission to live in sodor.
Jake: yeah, though it's only gonna be for a short while, we've still gotta get home.
Lucy: i understand darling, but let's enjoy what's happening now.
Jake: you're right Lucy, i should be relaxed now.
After an hour of traveling on the rails, Philip and the other arrived at Ulfstead Castle where Lucy and Cal are going to live with Sir Robert Norramby, the Earl of Sodor.
Lucy: what an amazing castle! I must do a painting of it on a canvas.
Cal: Amazing indeed, i wonder if the folks here like to play chess.
Cal and Lucy stepped out of the coach and onto the platform where the Earl was waiting to greet them both.
Sir Robert: Welcome back Cal and Lucy, it's a pleasure to have you both come here to live in Ulfstead Castle, i hope you'll find yourselves at home here.
Lucy: thank you so much, i hope you don't mind if i do a painting of the castle.
Sir Robert: you can do as you wish Madam, i look forward to seeing your painting miss Lucy.
Lucy: you're such a gentleman Robert, i thank you for your permission.
Sir Robert: the pleasure is mine.
Cal: and while she's at it, how about you and i have little friendly game of chess?
Sir Robert: oh yes, i do love a good game of chess, i'll bring my chess set out so we can play, i'll be back in few minutes.
While Cal and Lucy were making theirselves at home, Philip was off with the rest who had yet to be taken to their new homes. Cass, Yuri and Iben were going to live in a fine house near Henry's and Rosie's sheds in Vicarstown.
Henry: Nice of you three to drop by here. We hope you'll like living here in Vicarstown.
Rosie: i like the colours of your hairs, they look very pretty.
Yuri: Awwww~
Cass: thank you.
Iben: you're pretty too yourself Rosie.
Rosie: awww, you're so sweet.
It was now nearing the evening, Philip had brought Jose, Bruce and Attilio to live in Arlesdale, home of the miniture gauge engines Mike, Rex and Bert. Then Eis and Sana were dropped off at Wellsworth at a house near Edward's branch line.
After that, it was nightime now.
Leo: *Yawns* are we nearly there yet Mom?
Diane: yes my dear, we're nearly there.
Diane allows the boy to rest under her left arm as Emma rests under her right arm. Jake gets up from his seat and looks out the window to see where they're going to be living, it was a little house near tidmouth sheds.
Philip: we're here.
Jake and Diane exit out of the coach while Diane was carrying Leo and Emma on her arms as they were fast asleep. They both thanked Philip for everything he did for his family and he went back wellsworth. Jake and Diane took the sleeping kids into the little house, there was a kitchen, a living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms upstairs too, one for Jake and Diane and one for Leo and Emma, Diane gently lay down the two kids into their bed, tucked them in and kissed their foreheads.
Then Jake and Diane went to their room and went to bed too.
Diane: good night honey.
Jake: you too sweetie.
Jake and Diane slept together, though Jake was still worried about Balan and the others back at the theatre, all he could do now is do his best to protect his family.
