Yo. Got a big fight here for ya. Aku against HIM. Enjoy.

Chi, Shoguness of Shadows, Princess of Aku City was currently in the family dojo. In her hands was a katana, the hilt bound in white rope. Sighing softly, she began to practice the various katas she had learned from both her parent and from Junior.

She had changed from the ten year old girl she once was. She was taller, had longer hair, shapely legs, and had gained a decent size. She wore crimson bands around her wrists, marked with kanji for 'one' on them. She had gained another set of horns, indicating that her power had come in. She wore a larger kimono, cyan with a black wing on the back.

The close call with Skulker had been a rude wake-up call for her. She had been so helpless, despite her many guards. But seeing her darling Grim Junior easily hold the bounty hunter off until her parent appeared. It lit a fire of determination in her.

One month after the botched kidnapping, she had awakened her shape shifting powers, much to her parent's delight. They helped her with various scrolls and training manuals. She took to them eagerly, practicing until she nearly dropped.

The reason she trained so hard? She wanted to be strong for Junior. She did not want to constantly rely on him to save her. To not be a spoiled princess like she saw in those old movies with her parent.

Junior had visited or talked to her via the phone many times over the years. Treating her as a person, a friend. It was so very nice, not to be viewed as some sort of prize. But to be a person. And it made her physical crush deepen.

She was not sure if what she was feeling was love or not, but she was enjoying it all the same. There was another aspect that he helped her with too.

How strong she was. The first time they had sparred, he had bested her. Soundly. It was embarrassing for her, to lose to her crush. But...and this was what REALLY made the crush deepen...he didn't deride her. Didn't mock her. He did not look down on her or tell her to give up.

Instead, he helped her up, handed back her sword, and showed her several katas and stances to help. Something she had been doing for the last six years. She did not lose as much, but didn't win either. Still, that was okay.

She had closed the gap.

At the ding of a timer, Chi stopped her motions. With a practiced ease, she placed the sword back into its sheathe. Holding it outstretched, she placed it on the pedestal before her. Bowing to the statue of her beloved, she left the dojo.

Six hours of practice really made her hungry.

GTOWR

Chi was in her room now, glaring at her cell phone. Next to her was a large platter of food. Angrily, she swiped a burger and chomped down on it.

Demongo floated in.

"Milady, I-"

"Why hasn't he texted me, Demongo?" Chi asked, swallowing and using a frosted tone.

Demongo sighed. The sigh seemed to set her off. She grabbed him and began to pull and bite the poor orb. Despite her newfound maturity, she still had moments of insecurity.

"IS HE GHOSTING ME?! OR IS HE SEEING SOMEONE BEHIND MY BACK! MAYBE ITS THAT WELL GIRL NEAR HIS HOME!" Chi snarled.

"M-m-my lady! D-d-d-d-did not-t-t-t-t-t Lord Junior state that he was going to be with family for Samhain!?" Demongo managed to get out.

Just like that, she stopped abusing the poor being and quickly pulled out a kit. Opening it up, she pulled out a few alchol swabs and bandages. Once she had them set out, she began to treat him.

"You're right, you're right. Darling did mention that...sorry, Demongo." She said, placing a band-aid on a particularly nasty cut she had given him. "I just worry about him, you know?"

"Lord Junior can handle himself...he told you that he has been training hard for the past six years did he not? Just as you have been." Demongo said, floating up and looking at his princess.

She nodded. He had told her over the years they had been talking that he had been getting training from his father. Apparently, his reaper powers had woken up too that day. She was very excited for her beloved.

There was a knock at the door. Chi looked at it.

"Come in." She said.

The door opened to reveal a woman. She wore what looked to be a skintight black suit with a white mask on it. Chi scowled. A daughter of Aku. She did admit though that they made better bodyguards then the regular guards.

"Lady Chi, Lord-" The daughter began when Chi cut her off.

"Grim? Is Lord Grim coming?!" She asked, excited.

"No. It is Lord HIM."

And like that, she was both not interested and disturbed. She waved the daughter away.

"If it is not my darling Junior of his family, then I want nothing to do with them." She snapped coldly.

"...I see. I shall inform Lord Aku." The daughter said, bowing.

Chi returned to her meal, grumbling. She rose up her arm, opening her palm. As she ate, she willed the darkness that was part of her to shape a bit into a mini version of her beloved. She chose his skeletal form, smiling up at her. Smiling softly back, she booped his nose.

The mini wrapped his hands around her finger, nuzzling it. Sighing, she let go of the illusion. No sooner had she done so, her phone went off.

"GAH!" She yelped. "Who-?!"

Upon seeing the caller ID, she quickly dove for the phone. Demongo quickly got out of the way, chuckling a little. Raising it up, she answered.

"Darling! I was wondering what was keeping you!" Chi squealed, making Junior on the other end chuckle a little.

"Hi Chi! Sorry, for the radio silence. The last three days have been rather crazy. Getting kidnapped-"

At hearing the word 'Kidnapped', Chi froze in fear. Then it became white hot rage.

"WHAT?! WHO DARED TO LAY A HAND ON YOUR PERFECTION! I'LL RIP AND TEAR THEM TO SHREDS!" Chi roared, her form becoming a dragon.

Demongo quickly ducked under the blasts of fire coming from her mouth. Thankfully, Junior was quick to reassure the shoguness he was fine. He had just gotten a tad careless getting a special gift for her. Hearing that he got her a gift, she calmed down and returned to her base form. After getting herself under control again, she asked about Halloween. He happily told her about the town and the residents there.

"It sounds quaint! Shame I had to deal with some of the family business that day. I would have loved to have seen the place." Chi said, smiling softly.

"Heh, maybe next year, Chi. What about you? No more bounty hunters after you?" Junior asked.

Chi giggled, knowing about the old joke. No, all she had to deal with was idiotic suitors trying to get access to her parent's throne. But they never lasted long, thanks to the training she had done and his suggestions to her with her sword work. She was not the damsel in distress any more nor someone who was a pushover.

The door knocked again, Demongo going to it. Phasing through, he saw it was Aku. He pulled back in.

"Lady Chi. Its your parent, Lord Aku."

Hearing that, she gestured for the door to open. Demongo grabbed the handle with his mouth and slid it open, revealing their lordship. Aku stepped in, seeing Chi on the phone. Aku knew right away who it was she was talking to. They chuckled, sitting down across from their daughter. Helping themselves to some of her food, they waited for her to finish up.

"I see. Well, don't worry, I'll get my gift to ya soon, Chi. I-"

Something cut Junior off. Chi and Aku heard something smashing making them blink.

"Oh shit! Chi, I gotta go! I'll call ya back when I can!" Junior said rapidly, ending the call.

Chi stared at the phone. What was going on? Aku looked at their daughter.

"Is something wrong daughter?" Aku asked.

"No, nothing! I am just...confused as why Junior had to hang up so fast. He's always been able to talk for an hour..." Chi wondered aloud.

"Perhaps someone is attempting to get into Grimskull." Aku offered, making the pair look at him. "You know as well as I that there are some Minor Lords ALWAYS trying to make names for themselves."

"Or perhaps it is more training. I imagine that getting kidnapped made his mother quite cross." Demongo stated.

Both parent and daughter conceded on that. Aku then got to the matter as to why they were in her room. They wondered why she was not interested in seeing HIM.

Chi scowled. How she hated that lobster devil. Ever since she had hit puberty, he had been eyeing her. It had made her VERY uncomfortable to be in the same room as that devil.

Aku's face grew thunderous.

"I will remind HIM to never look at you while in my city, daughter. On another note...I wanted to pick your brain. Have you seen Mimi recently?" Aku asked.

Chi's head perked up, but shook her head. Mimi, HIM's daughter, was one of her closest friends. She had met her two months after the kidnapping at one of her concerts. Despite being quiet, the two had hit it off well. The red devilress had not been here. Why did her parent ask?

Aku told Chi. Mimi was not with HIM when he came in. They were wondering if their daughter had seen her. Chi shook her head.

"...perhaps I should sit in on this meeting, Father. I can see if there are some...tells of the devil."

Aku frowned, thinking it over. Ultimately, they shook their head.

"I will not allow you in the same room as that devil. Instead, I will call Mandy and see if she cannot let you over to see Junior for a while. Besides, now that I think of it, the girl may be out on another assignment for HIM."

They said the magic words. Chi instantly hugged her parent, excitedly saying 'thank you' over and over. Aku smiled, Demongo already back with a phone on a silver platter. They picked up the phone and dialed.

After a few rings, Mandy's cold voice came through.

"Hello?"

"Mandy, it is Aku. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind Chi for a few hours. HIM is here and I-"

"Send her over. I can only guess what that devil is doing to make her feel uncomfortable. Grim will open a portal in an hour for her." Mandy interrupted.

Aku thanked her and hung up. They nodded at Chi who squealed with delight. She dashed off, quick to gather up what she needed. Aku chuckled.

"Shall I go with her, Milord?" Demongo asked.

"I trust Junior to protect my princess and said princess to hold her own, but yes. It would be best that you go with her. If only to act as a quick warning in case anything happens there."

"I will inform Queen Mandy my intentions right from the get-go." Demongo stated.

Aku nodded. They watched their daughter come out in a Slave Leia outfit, her hair done up to match the late Carrie Fisher's when she played that role. Putting her Kimono over it, she giggled in delight. Aku groaned.

"That poor boy..." Aku muttered.

"...I'm not even going to tell you about the shrine, sire..."

Hearing that just made Aku groan even more. Having a teenage daughter was more of a headache then HIM.

GTOWR

Aku watched their daughter enter the portal. Once it was closed, they donned their own kimono for the meeting. As they walked to the meeting room where HIM awaited, they let their mind wander onto the past.

After the Samurai's defeat, Aku had felt...lost. Adrift. They had wanted the Samurai's defeat for so long. Yet when they had it? Guess it was true what one human had said so long ago when Aku walked it.

What will you do with yourself when you achieve what it is you desire the most?

Say what you would about the humans, they had a LOT of good advice to give. Aku, after getting out of their funk, took to actually learning his enemy's culture. They learned so much of their enemy and his people of that time period. Honorable to a fault, able to help those who could not help themselves. He was glad that Chi was finally learning about the culture and respecting it as well as she can. Not just treating it as something akin to a toy when she had been a child.

"What's up, Aku!" came a grating voice.

Aku looked up and saw that they had arrived at the meeting room. They scowled at seeing HIM dressed up as a gaudy cowboy. It clashed with the decor of the room, dotted with many Japanese weapons and armor. The lobster handed demon was waiting with a bottle of sake and two saucers. Aku sat down, frowning.

"Kare...what is the meaning of this meeting?" Aku asked, using a no nonsense tone.

"Aw, straight to business huh? That's cool. Look, I'm getting the pieces into place to kickstart that war with Mandy. And I would-"

Aku held up a hand, stalling the red skinned beast. Pouring themselves a saucer of Sake, Aku lifted the saucer up. Looking at the clear liquid, they looked at HIM.

"And why should I risk my relationship with Queen Mandy over what is very obviously you still sore at being kicked to the curb by her oh so long ago?"

"Hey, that BITCH doesn't know a good thing if it rammed her in the ass!" HIM snarled, clearly still a tad upset by the dumping.

"Clearly she does since she has a very powerful son." Aku shot back.

Here, HIM laughed. Grim? Give her a powerful son? What did that bonehead know about power? Heavens above, that boy was probably just as weak as his father or donor since Grim couldn't have kids the natural way. Aku slammed their saucer down.

HIM looked at the shogun in shock. They actually seemed...pissed.

"Do you take me for a FOOL, Kare?! I KNOW. I know it was you that hired Skulker to try and kidnap my daughter! All so you could gain an alliance with me."

HIM actually froze. How had Aku found out about that little plan of his?! He had hoped Mimi would have been there to 'save' Chi and get that door open for him. Yet Aku knew! Aku's grin turned sinister.

"Ah, you are trying to figure out how Skulker was bested. Well, it was by Grim Junior. I saw him that day and trust me...I believe he can be VERY scary. Seems he awoke his powers that day...so before Mandy puts a holy bullet in your head next time, she will most likely thank you. Now, I have one final matter to say."

Here, Aku's fiery eyebrows became white hot.

"If I EVER hear or catch you looking at my daughter in a way I deem INAPPROPRIATE, I will gut you and serve you up to the rest of the lords with butter! Now if you have nothing else to discuss with me, please leave."

HIM glared behind his sunglasses. This was NOT going according to plan. In fact, a lot of things weren't going to his plans. The kidnapping of Junior by Oogie Boogie. The fight with the Vampire Girl. Now THIS!

Aku was not willing to help him. Guess he'd have to resort to plan B. Of course, in his fuming rage, HIM forgot one crucial detail of the plan.

"You know...it'd be a shame if Chi suddenly just...vanished. There's a lot of perverts out there who-"

HIM didn't get to finish as Aku suddenly attacked. What he had forgotten in this plan of his was that one does not threaten a child of the Big Five. So stunned by Aku's aggression, HIM felt his right hand get severed from him. The demon roared in anger and pain, firing a beam of molten lava from his mouth. Aku shifted to avoid the attack, becoming a giant octopus with sword like tentacles.

HIM tried to dodge and weave around the eight arms. Aku just grew more and lashed at him a few times. The blades grazed the devil's skin, but he managed to avoid the worst. Jumping back, he pulled out a gun.

Firing blindly, HIM watched as Aku shifted around in darkness and shadow. The best way to best HIM was to wear him down. So Aku went from one to several Aku clones. Donning the armor of the ancient Samurais around them, they took up arms from the various weapons around. A pike nearly took off Kare's head, only shaving his hair. A katana nearly bisected the devil.

The clones constant attacks forced HIM on the defense. They drove him to a nearby window.

"AKU! You made a VERY big mistake today!" HIM roared.

"No, YOU made a mistake thinking I would just roll over and let you threaten MY family! MY DAUGHTER!" Aku's clones snarled as one.

They were shot down by HIM pulling out a submachine gun. The clones, unharmed, reformed and took on the form of a lion.

"NOW DIE!"

The lion Aku jumped at Kare, making both of them crash through the window. But as they fell, HIM grew to Kaiju heights. His legs crashed on the ground, breaking the street. The sudden appearance of the giant devil making many residents scream and flee in terror.

Aku avoided the lobster's one remaining claw. Turning into darkness, they rose to match the height of HIM. Aku shifted into a large tailed being with dorsal horns. HIM cracked a smirk at seeing the form.

"Godzilla? Really?"

Aku didn't answer, just blasting HIM right in the face. Not expecting the blue fire, HIM roared in pain. Aku's new tail whipped around, slamming between HIM's legs. The devil squealed in pain, eyes wide open, glasses nearly falling off his face. Only two others had DARED to hit him there!

Aku smirked, enjoying the look of pain on HIM's face. The single claw clamped down on his tail. But a shift and suddenly HIM was facing a three headed dragon.

Now this was just getting ridiculous!

A trio of fire blasting in his face made the devil let go and stagger back. This caused several buildings to go tumbling. Aku turned back into their base form and raised their hands. From the palms, several black arrows went flying. They struck HIM's face making him yell.

Realizing he was losing and BADLY he might add, Kare decided to cut his losses. Shrinking down to his regular size, HIM opened an emergency portal he had hidden in the city. Aku's face became one of rage at seeing their quarry escape.

"DAMN HIM!" Aku bellowed, returning to a smaller size.

"Milord! Are you safe?" A guard asked, rushing up.

"Yes, yes. I am fine...contact Mandy for me...Chi is gonna be over at her place...for a period of time." Aku panted out, looking around at the devastation the two battling titans had caused.

The guard nodded, rushing off to complete the order given.

GTOWR

HIM reappeared in his own domain, watching the emergency portal he used crumble away, closed off to Aku City. Well, THAT plan was shot to all Hell. He limped to his desk, wincing. The tail to the balls HURT. There was also the phantom pain in his right arm.

"Right...gonna need a replacement." HIM muttered, looking at his stub. "But the one that I could really use is locked up tighter then a nun's pussy in a remote church."

HIM hummed in thought. Say what you would about Mandy, she took serious care of objects she believed to be hers. Still, everything had a chink in the armor...and as he pulled up several files, his eyes landed on a picture.

The photo was of a blonde woman, similar to Mandy. He grinned. There was a chink...the general's brat. Oh he had a wonderful plan now.

"Mimi! I have a job for you~!"

Whew! I hope I did Aku justice here in the fight. Now what could HIM be planning? Whatever it is, it does not bode well for Nergal Junior or Minnie.

HIM/Kare - HIM is gonna be the same like what we see in Canon GTFDB. HOWEVER! I am making him a LOT more...well, vile would be the best way to describe him. My reasoning for this? It's kinda paying tribute to a Fan Theory regarding the original PPG. I can't remember all of it, given that it has been a full decade to decade and a half since I last read it, but one thing that stuck out to me was that the Professor had a sibling who did some very nasty things. Hence the professor always referred by the name of HIM. That is why he's eying up Chi.

Mimi/HER - Mimi is older then the canon cast by about a year. Much like HIM, she's not all that different from Canon, other then being older. But I have a little surprise relation in store for you all dear readers.
