Doctor Who X RWBY X Justice League VIII:
Green Lantern: Must feel a bit weird being in a different world. Then again, you have a time traveler that seems to do the impossible in your world as well.
Jaune: Uhhhhhh, not really. Let's just say Team RWBY and I...were actually in a different world as well before returning home then landing here hehe.
Green Lantern: You guys were stuck on a different world? What happened?
Jaune: *rubs my head* It's...complicated...
Green Lantern: O-Oh! I-I'm Sorry...I didn't-
Jaune: NoNoNo! It's fine actually. Now that I think about it, being busy once we got back to Remnant...I never got to let out my thoughts that I had bottled after being trapped for so many years in that world...*sits down*
Green Lantern: Many Years?...*sits next to him*
Jaune: *closes my eyes and sighs* The kingdom in which Weiss was from fell...we were able to rescue as many people as possible and evacuate them to one of the last kingdoms left, Vacuo, but...we couldn't save everyone either...some...*clenches my fist* we knew...Cinder did all this...
Green Lantern: Y-You mean...The Rani?...
Jaune: Like the Doctor said, the person we have faced and was desperate to kill us was Cinder Fall...but she didn't come alone...Cybermen attacked us as well. It was a plotted ambush and we didn't see it on time...then Ruby, Blake, Yang, and I fell...*trembles* I was sure I was going to die when I fell into the darkness...next thing I know, I wake up somewhere else and on my own...it...looked like an island which eventually later on, I found out it's the Ever After...a place we believed we just in books we would read as children...ended up being real.
Green Lantern: And that's where the girls fell as well, right?
Jaune: Ruby, Blake, and Yang. Weiss found a way to get there with a portal. They were there for a few days and I should've as well...but when I was exploring the island...I paid the price. I found a tree with clocks hanging from them and my curiosity got the best of me. I grabbed one...and time began to reverse...I didn't know how to stop it until I broke it with my shield...
Green Lantern: *eyes widened* You...reversed time and while you were the last one to fall...you were the longest one on the island...
Jaune: 20 years...I was there for a total of 20 years...half of it on my own! *Tears fall* I was already dealing with the aftermath of Atlas falling so being on my own...didn't make it better at all...after 10 years on my own, I ended up meeting Alyx and Lewis who were the first to fall...the ones that the book was based off...and I also happened to meet...Pyrrha...
Green Lantern: Pyrrha? But...didn't you-
Jaune: A different Pyrrha...from another universe...it wasn't the one I knew close...*breaths aggressively* And The Master was there...
Jessica now understood what Jaune was keeping to himself and it pained her so much. In such a short time, so many terrible things happened to Jaune. Him letting it out was a beginning to self-heal and she knew it very well because of what she went through in the past.
Jaune: The Master was there as the Curious Cat, I was poisoned by Alyx, she was manipulated and killed by him, her brother Lewis escaped, thanks to Pyrrha I was able to survive and recover from the poison, her and I decided to stick together as time passed on until Team RWBY crashed once again...
Green Lantern: *holds his hands* You don't have to continue if you can't...
Jaune: I want to...it's just...too much as well...
Green Lantern: I know that feeling Jaune...remember what I was going through in the simulation. You knew my fears, my doubts, what kept me feeling...so weak and broken...simply because I didn't have my ring. But you were that person that helped me crawl out of that darkness, even if we just met and we didn't know much about each other, you believed in me.
Jaune: Jessica...
Green Lantern: You told me this back when we thought we were going to be crushed by those closing walls and now it's my turn to say it to you so those crushing walls on your mind don't close in. Sometimes there are flare-ups. It's normal to feel weak, to be afraid. But you're more than your fear and your doubts. You are more than just a knight!
He was able to finally spill out all those emotions and thoughts he has been having for so many years after living in the Ever After. And he found someone who he could trust and release all of that. That same person he helped during a dark time for her, she returned the favor to help him during his dark time.
He let go of Pyrrha to finally rest...
He was finally feeling free of all of those doubts, fear, and struggles in his life...
Jaune Arc was ready to finally move on.
He pulled Jessica in for a hug which she happily returned as the two shared an important moment together.
Jaune: Thank you, Jessica. Thank you...

Vixen: You're going to blow a circuit if you keep going like this. Even Flash decided to take a break. For once.
And she was right. For once, Flash was not in the lab room but instead it was Cyborg and Vixen with the former trying to figure out what went wrong in trapping Kilg%re.
Cyborg: I'm trying to figure out why the holotrap didn't work on the Grimm. I don't know, maybe it's something in the code.
Vixen: Have you tried analyzing this?
Vixen hands over the stinger that belonged to the Death Stalker which Cyborg took a look at it and gave it a shot. With a bit of an assist from Vixen's powers, a painful electrical charge went through Cyborg which passed over to the stinger and onto the computer...
Causing Kilg%re to appear in the Hall of Justice to the shock of Cyborg and Vixen.
Vixen: Kilg%re?!
Cyborg: The Hall of Justice's computers-
Kilg%re: Yes, I know. They're very impressive, I remember. That's why I had to break in to talk to you. I've made a mistake.
(Few Minutes Later in the Main Room)
The Flash: No. Absolutely not. You know this is a trap, right?
Superman: There's always that chance.
Ruby: But we might be his only chance of outwitting him.
Vixen: Kilg%re isn't exactly the most loyal AI. He might have just realized he's on the losing side.
The Flash: I know Kilg%re. There is no way he would come to us for help. Even if he has no faith in Watts.
The Doctor: If anything, this could all be a setup planned by The Master. Kilg%re didn't mention him, don't you think that's a bit off?
The Flash: Exactly. We aren't willing to risk that chance! You take Kilg%re for granted, like he's an idiot. But none of you know just how much he hates us. How much he wants to be seen as an actual threat. He'll do anything!
Superman: Flash...*puts my hand on his shoulder* You're not there anymore.
Green Lantern: Kilg%re...He wants to kill the Justice League, right? And The Master...is trying to go after The Doctor and Team RWBY.
The Rani: I'm here too, you know?
Green Lantern: Right. The Rani as well. But Watts is a mystery. You said he joined with this Salem person. Why?
Blake: He wanted people to understand his genius. She did and used it to bring down kingdoms.
Ruby: So if he transferred his consciousness here when he died then...
Yang: With Kilg%re's mystery transmitter...
Weiss: Watts could remake this world.
Blake: He couldn't do it with Salem, she was too powerful. And he doesn't need her to remake the world here.
Jaune: He's using Kilg%re instead. My guess? Kilg%re's not happy about it.
The Rani: *sighs* Hate my guts all you want. I'm tired of explaining to everyone that Cinder is dead. You lot are getting it right there; However, The Master remains in the shadows. You don't have any information on him and that AI didn't elaborate further.
Batman: So what's your theory?
The Doctor: It's a web of backstabbing. Kilg%re wants to backstab Arthur Watts, if he is honest about it, and The Master is planning to backstab them both.
Nora: Then what'll be the plan?
Weiss: We need to stop Watts, that'll stop the Grimm.
The Flash: And stopping Kilg%re will prevent him from escaping or creating other problems for all of us.
Ren: Once again leaving The Master on his own and the last person left. If we can stop Watts and Kilg%re first, it'll get us to The Master.
Green Lantern: How will we know for sure?
Ruby: Heh! Only one way to find out.
Yang: *grunts* You've been saying that more and more these days.
Ruby: Because you keep doubting me!
Yang: I never doubt you, I'm...*sighs* This...this thing you've been doing isn't confidence. It's a death wish...I need my sister...
Ruby: *sighs and hugs her tight* I'm not going anywhere, Yang.
Yang: You promise?
Ruby: *smiles and nods* Promise.
Superman: So, what's the plan of attack?
Ruby: We join Kilg%re and stop Watts. As for The Master, we'll need to watch out for him from two different views: Ours and the Time Lords with us.
The Rani: Oh look, she's finally acknowledging us.
The Flash: So we're really doing this even though Kilg%re is definitely lying?
Cyborg: I think we go in fully expecting that. Weiss made me realize Dust is the key to this. If this program works, I may have a plan. But we need something to distract Watts.
Nora: *smirks* Leave him to us.
Jaune: He may be a genius, but this isn't his world.
Weiss: And these aren't his rules.
Blake: He thinks he makes up the rules.
Yang: But he never learns. We'll need some help.
The Doctor: Rani and I have been working all night on something that will come in handy to helping you defeat them. This will also give us an opening on where The Master is. Once we know...*holds my head*
Weiss: Doctor?...
The Rani: Oh no...Doctor you need to sit!
The Doctor stumbled a bit sending a panic through the room as Batman and Jaune helped him sit down until everyone's eyes locked in on an interesting sight and a gutted one for Team RWBY...
His hand was glowing as the Doctor tried to put in strength to hold back once again...
The Doctor: *pants* I'm...fine...
Vixen: What's going on with his hand?
The Rani: We Time Lords have a special ability to delay our deaths. You in a way have seen it with your Grimm of this world. Regeneration.
Wonder Woman: But it's self-healing so why is he holding back?
The Rani: That's the tricky part, when Time Lords regenerate, we self-heal BUT at a price. Our regenerative cells repair the damage in our bodies and heal us up but we don't stay the same. We change physically. I never looked like this all of my life; I've had different faces throughout my time of living. Refuse to regenerate...you meet your death sooner than anticipated.
Black Canary: Okay? So, he heals himself but changes into someone different, what's wrong with that?
The Rani: *looks at Team RWBY and Team JNR* Well, your answer is actually right here with us. He's refusing to change because of you.
The Doctor: *gets up slowly* I...have a duty of care...and I will not break it...not until Salem is defeated...
The Rani: And did you plan that out? Because if that's not for another while then you are just killing yourself.
The Doctor only pulled out his Sonic and activated in which the screen of the main room changed for the article the Doctor found of the future. All eyes were widened but none were as horrified as Team RWBY.
THE DOCTOR DEAD! REMNANT MOURNS DAYS AFTER WAR!
The Flash: Your death...is a fixed point in time...and by my calculation with how the days pass in Remnant...
The Doctor: I'm not far...from that day happening...either I regenerate...or I die...
Ruby: Why?...Why did this happen?...Why did you let yourself fall into this?!
The Doctor: *sighs softly and smiles* Like I said, I have a duty of care.
This gutted Team RWBY even more with tears falling from their eyes. No matter if you stay angry at him, no matter if you push him away, no matter if you try to hurt him with words, he was still caring for his team he calls family. Ruby and Yang were now even more gutted with all of their anger at him and yet forgetting that he's battling with death just to protect them and keep their future alive.
Weiss: *tears fall and holds his hand* There can still be a way to stop this...
The Doctor: Maybe there is. Maybe there isn't. But right now, it's not about me, it's about stopping the bad guys trying to takeover this world.
Yang: You can't go out there like that?! You'll speed up...*grunts*
Ren: Or what if something goes horribly wrong that messes up your regeneration.
The Doctor: It's gonna take a lot more than holding back regeneration to keep me down. *winks* After all, I'm a Madman with a Blue Box.
The girls looked at each other with doubt and concerned but fully trusted the Doctor in his words before continuing on with the plan. At the same time, the doors have opened to the main room with a new figure entering. An older man with a very concerned look on his face and scratching his head a lot. This was the mayor of Central City.
Superman: Ah! Mayor Tremas, thank you for coming on short notice.
Mayor Tremas: No need to thank me, Superman. I should be the one thanking all of you for doing your best to take down these monsters. But, is it true that I am being threatened?
The Doctor: Yes you are, Tremas. I'm the Doctor by the way.
Mayor Tremas: You certainly don't look like one.
The Doctor: One of a kind. *Displays the code* This code was in one of the Grimm they took down. It's Gallifreyan writing from which The Rani and I are from and it says, What A Time To Shine, Tremas.
Mayor Tremas: What does that even mean?
Ruby: It means Kilg%re and his partner Arthur Watts are coming after you.
Mayor Tremas: *eyes widened* B-But...what do they even want with me?
The Rani: *glares at him* Good question.
Ren: Is there something that you probably have?
Cyborg: Or something you don't know about and they want it.
Mayor Tremas: *thinks and eyes widened* Flash...wasn't there something you placed underneath city hall that you said to prevent Reverse Flash from ever finding?
The Flash: *eyes widened* The Particle Accelerator! That's what they want! That's what Arthur Watts need to make this world into his own image!
Blake: Perhaps each of them have something they want to use that device for. Watts wants to create his own world, Kilg%re wants to take over the world's technology perhaps to stop us, and The Master...
The Doctor: There are many scenarios of what The Master could do. I'm afraid two of them would be his top picks: Recreate Earth into his own Gallifrey...
The Rani: Or bring back the Cruciform...
Black Canary: The Cruci...what now?
The Doctor: Only the high positions of Time Lords knew what it was. The Rani was banished so she never got to know it and while I...I'm just a young Time Lord. Legends says the Cruciform is the most dangerous thing the Time Lords have kept hidden beneath Gallifrey.
The Rani: Until the Daleks found a way to secure it and used it against us in the Time War. Even The Master was beyond terrified when the Daleks retrieved it.
Blake: And now...he has a second chance to bring it back and use it for his own.
Vixen: Of course it's always the ones from outer space that have the deadliest plan.
Mayor Tremas: I must head back and make sure it is guarded and sealed!
Wonder Woman: It's too dangerous for you! If anything, perhaps they need you there to gain access for entry.
Weiss: So what do we do then? *Looks at the Doctor* Any suggestions?
The Doctor: When you have Time Lords on your side, the suggestions are endless.
Ruby: Then let's finish this!

The heroes all arrived to where Kilg%re had asked them to meet and they spotted him possessing a Beringel Grimm which looked like Gorilla Grodd for the Justice League.
The Flash: Oh, great. Grimm Gorilla Grodd.
Superman: You're sure about this, Cyborg?
Cyborg: Best shot we have, Supes.
Ruby: We need to end this!
Cyborg: Kilg%re.
Kilg%re: Justice League! Team RWBY! And Team JNR!
Cyborg: We're here like you wanted. Now, how do we stop Watts?
Arthur Watts: *chuckles* Stop Me?
His voice sent chills down the spines of Remnant's protectors as they turned around and spotted Arthur Watts. Here. Alive and In Person. And now wearing a similar suit of armor to Jaune. This was far worse than what the gang had expected.
Jaune: I-Impossible...
Ruby: I...I thought he just transferred his consciousness.
Yang: If he's able to replace his whole body-
Blake: He's capable of more than we thought.
Weiss: He'll kill even more with that kind of power.
Arthur Watts: Aw, missed me? Not even death can hold me back. Not even burning to crisp at the hands of Cinder. I knew Atlas might go pear-shaped, so just in case, I made arrangements to store my consciousness with Kilg%re. And now, I get to kill you annoying brats!
It was a setup.
Kilg%re lured them into a trap with Arthur Watts. Fortunately for the heroes, they also had a plan with them.
Superman: Now!
Blake used her powers and removed the illusions around them for Killer Croc, Weathering Wizard, and Mirror Master to appear as well, surrounding Kilg%re.
Kilg%re: You! What are you-
Killer Croc: *roars and picks him up* You made it so we had to work with the heroes. *Throws him towards Watts*
Weathering Wizard: It's embarrassing!
Mirror Master: But you attacked our world, too. So we want what they want. A world left standing at the end of all this. To rob. *chuckles*
Mirror Master went on to blast multiple mirror shards around Arthur Watts and Kilg%re while Weather Wizard surrounded the entire area with thick fog, the villains unable to see anything or where the heroes have gone.
Kilg%re: Watts? Watts! Doesn't your new and improved body have X-ray powers or something?
Arthur Watts: There!
The two spot a bright red light and cross through which takes them through a different part of the city. They now searched for the heroes with the feeling that something was off.
Arthur Watts: We can see. Let's-
PUNCH!
Ruby: Not so fast!
Arthur Watts regained composure after a hard-hitting punch from Ruby, only to see both Team RWBY and Team JNR looking like their actual selves. His eyes however, landed on the one person he was waiting to see, The Doctor.

Arthur Watts: Doctor...
Weiss: Fancy seeing you here, Watts. What? Get tired of licking Salem's boots? *Activates Gravity glyph*
Arthur Watts: *gets pinned on the ground* Kilg%re! Something's wrong. Their semblances...Their weapons...
Before Kilg%re could react or do something, he gets a strong punch from Superman before picking him up.
Superman: It's time you're brought to justice, Kilg%re.
Kilg%re: *grabs Superman and activates kryptonite* Like the new Grimm ability? How they shift into your greatest weakness? I thought of that. Whatever the Grimm creations can do, I can do!
And so the battle has finally commenced between our heroes and the villains. Justice League went right for Kilg%re in trying to take them down but he was quick to study their next moves then proceeded to grab Black Canary, launching her towards Weiss which broke the glyph holding down Arthur Watts, and giving him the chance to now release the Grimm.
Nora: Head's up!
Justice League continued to handle Kilg%re while Team RWBY and Team JNR handled the Grimm, only leaving the Doctor and Arthur Watts.
Arthur Watts: Round 2, my dear Doctor.
The Doctor: Where is he? Where's the Master?
Arthur Watts:*smirks* Closer than you think.
The Doctor: *eyes widened* All this time...
While still releasing more Grimm to continue the attacks, Arthur Watts deactivated his extra robotic arms and weapons, only putting himself in a battle stance with the Doctor as the two charged right at each other for a second combat fight between them.
It was an all-out battle for the heroes and the villains.
The huntsmen and huntresses despite the numbers of Grimm emerging, were able to handle them like the usual back in Remnant but their main concern was the Doctor fighting Arthur Watts as the young time lord was holding his own and giving him crucial strike on Watts but the state of his body was going to take a toll.
And their fears came through when Arthur Watts landed a hard punch to the Doctor's chest, causing him to slowly get up.
Arthur Watts: Much rustier than the last time we fought, Doctor.
The Doctor: *grunts and gets up* Things have changed...
Arthur Watts: I've noticed.
Watts was able to look just in time to see Weiss charge right at him before barely dodging her only to be followed with a surprise strike from Yang. That's when it struck him on how all of this was happening.
Arthur Watts: You are clever. But not smart enough! Kilg%re! Cyborg is harnessing a Dust algorithm. We're in his holotrap.
Kilg%re: *chuckles* Is that so? Well, then. If we're in a holotrap...
Kilg%re found the access and struck down Cyborg before taking over the holotrap and creating it into his own. Our heroes stood close to one another as the setting around them changed before they all collapsed onto a different ground. Some of them got up and looked around, only to be shocked at where Kilg%re had them now.
Ruby: *looks around* Amity Colosseum.
Vixen: This can't be good.
The Doctor: Kilg%re now has control of the holotrap. Our only chance now is to trap both him and Watts.
Arthur Watts: The first digital world was not entirely up to par. Call it "user error." This time, I will achieve exactly what I set out to do. Forget Remnant. Here, I can remake the world in my image!
Wonder Woman: *cackles* You mean our image.
Something was going off horribly. Wonder Woman began to charge towards the heroes with the Justice League trying to hold her back until Nora leaped in the air and struck them with her hammer. That's when Flash noticed that her eyes were glowing.
Ruby: What's going on with her?
The Flash: Kilg%re! He's taken over Wonder Woman.
Kilg%re/Wonder Woman: You thought you were so powerful. But who's laughing now?
Kilg%re raised up their hands and began to switch the setting once again.
This time they were all in the forests of Beacon.
Their fight did not stop with each hero dealing with a different and difficult challenge, either it was the Grimm, Arthur Watts, or Kilg%re possessing someone. Nora, Ruby, Yang, and Superman tried to take down Kilg%re and bring Wonder Woman back but they were fast, strong, and quick thinking which was causing them trouble. Yang managed to land a hit on them and Ruby tried to go for the ultimate strike, only for Kilg%re to grab Crescent Rose than land a fatal blow on Ruby, sending her flying in which Yang caught her.
Yang: Ruby...RUBY!
Ruby: *groans and coughs* I'm...I'm okay. I just...I just gotta catch my breath.
Yang: I'm getting you out. I don't care.
Ruby: I know you're worried. I know.
Yang: You promised!
Ruby: *sighs and holds her hand* You can't protect me from everything. Yang, you have to trust me. I'm not gonna leave you. I'm not Mom. And I'm not Raven. We make our own futures...Like the Doctor says...A duty...of care...I'll be fine. And I'll always be here.
Yang: *nods slowly and helps her up* Okay.
Superman: Everything all right?
Ruby: Yeah. I'm not trying to join anyone too soon.
Ren: LOOK OUT!
The three looked ahead and instantly moved away as a giant hammer with lightning struck the ground. Wonder Woman was finally free but at a cost, it was now Nora who was possessed by Kilg%re and that wasn't taken kindly by Ren and Jaune.
Jaune: GET OUT OF HER!
Kilg%re/Nora: Oh, I like this! More energy into this body! FULL CHARGE!
Ren: ENOUGH!
Ren charged ahead despite a few calling him back, only to be struck by Kilg%re. The heroes continued to fight Kilg%re and bring back Nora while further in the woods, The Doctor and Arthur Watts continued their fight.
Arthur Watts: You are outmatched. Outnumbered. Dying. Tell me Doctor, how do you even plan on stopping us?
The Doctor: That's the one thing you should never ask a Time Lord. Because we have many ways. *Strikes him* To solve mysteries of the universe such as how can a human being still be alive in such a charred state from fire that can kill someone unless, all this time they were never human. Don't you agree...Master?
The shock would have blown up beyond this holotrap if anyone else was around them but it was just them. The Doctor finally connected all the dots. His suspicions just like The Rani about who truly was Arthur Watts came to full connection with Arthur Watts having a killer smirk on his face.
Arthur Watts is and always has been The Master...
The Master: *chuckles* Well done, my dear Doctor. At last, no more disguises, we finally meet as our true selves, and fighting to the death.
The Doctor: You never pretended to be someone else. You just acted like your usual self.
The Master: I applaud you, Doctor. You are truly a magnificent and worthy opponent. An opposite of myself. Just one thing, you are still missing something.
The Doctor: And what would that be?
The Master: Find out yourself!
The Master charged once again at the Doctor with the young Time Lord standing in defense stance as the two Time Lords finally clash once again.
