A lot happened in the last chapter, and a bit will be explained now, and more in the next chapter

I know it is a bit short, but I hope you will enjoy this

Read and relax

Marco stood beside Ace, Lance on the other side of Ace, Vincent and Clear in front of them, and this would be the first session for Ace. Vincent hummed. "We will start easy. The basics. How to hide your wings." Ace blinked. "I can hide them?" Vincent nodded. "Yes. You don't see us having them out all the time. Just concentrate. Like how Aoba taught you." Ace nodded and closed his eyes, and after a few seconds, he looked at his back and sighed. "I can't." Vincent hummed. "It might be a bit different since you are a Descendant. But you should be able to." Ace gave a nod and tried again, but once again, it didn't work. "I can't! Am I still a hybrid?! Or am I a full vampire now!?" Vincent hummed. "That is a good question. I think you will be able to change between being a vampire and human. I've never seen or heard about a hybrid being a Descendant before now."

Ace swallowed. "I feel sick." Vincent nodded. "Most likely your human side. Try imagining your human self, without wings, without fangs, without anything." Ace nodded and closed his eyes, before he took a breath. And as he breathed out, his wings disappeared. Ace then opened his eyes. "Did I do it?" He asked as he looked behind himself, and there were no wings, making Ace smile. "Yes!" Vincent nodded. "Good. Try using your fire." Ace blinked and moved his hand up, and it changed to fire, making Ace give a laugh. "Yes! I'm still fire!" Vincent nodded. "Now, try and change into a vampire." Ace nodded and closed his eyes, but nothing changed, After a minute, Ace gave an upset sound. "I can't! I want to look at the wings!" Vincent hummed. "You can't force it too much. Just remember you're special."

Ace blinked, before he tried for a bit more, Clear and Vincent saying he could do it, saying he could, Ace was special, and after a small while, Ace seemed to lose his patience. "But I can't do anything special! I can't fly when I want to! My wings won't come out again! I can't control people! I can't even control this!" Whitebeard frowned. "But son, you can control people. You have." Ace blinked. "What? When? I can't!" Whitebeard tried to remember back, and yes, Ace had. "When you lost control that while back. You made one person shoot himself in the head." That had even Vincent blink. "He did? A normal vampire can't do that." Whitebeard blinked. "I thought they could." Ace blinked. "Wait… so I have always been… special?" Vincent hummed. "Most likely yes. This is astonishing." Ace just looked lost, and he got it. This was a lot.

Ace blinked. "Wait… I made someone kill themselves? I thought we couldn't make people harm themselves, much less kill themselves?" Vincent hummed. "It would take a great power, I do not think I would have managed that, but you are a Descendant, not a Lord, you're stronger." Ace blinked. "I am… stronger than you?" Vincent nodded. "Yes, in some senses, which is why it is important you learn to control your powers."

Ace nodded and closed his eyes, taking a few calm breaths, before the wings slowly came from his back again and Ace looked back at them, smiling. "Yes! I did it!" Vincent nodded. "You did." Ace then moved so his wings on his right came around Ace so he could look at them. "They are so… featherly looking." Vincent hummed and took a step closer to Ace. "May I?" Ace nodded and Vincent touched it, humming. "It looks like feathers, but it is more like scales. Truly amazing." Clear hummed. "Make your wings disappear again." Ace blinked, but nodded, closing his eyes and they went away after a bit, before Ace looked at Clear, and he spoke. "Now, fly." Ace blinked, about to close his eyes, when Clear spoke. "Without your wings. Imagine yourself hoovering." Ace blinked. "What?" Clear nodded. "Imagine yourself being light, light as air, no wings." Ace nodded, closing his eyes, before he suddenly started to carefully hoover a few inches off the ground.

Ace opened his eyes to see it and looked amazed, before he suddenly fell down again and looked at Clear, who hummed. "That took me a century to learn. Which is how I walk on water." Ace blinked. "I can walk on water?!" Clear hummed. "You don't walk on the water, you hoover on it. And yes. Add some elegance, you can make it look like you're walking on the surface, making small ripples with your feet." Vincent hummed. "Truly amazing. Wonder what else you can do." Ace seemed to think the same, before he seemed to get a question. "Can I talk to Mother Nature again?" Clear hummed. "You should, yes. But how might be a bit tricky. I imagine she showed up earlier because you felt a strong emotion. That helps make her come forward. But you need to find your way to talk to her. One water nymph speaks to her by singing. A fairy does it by dancing. You need to find out how you do it. But then again, you are a descendant. They are… very rare. I know of one descendant, and that's a werewolf."

Ace nodded. "Okay, so it is a bit of trial and error?" Clear nodded. "Yes." Ace nodded, and they tried to teach Ace more stuff, and Marco took it all in and he could see Lance doing the same, this was very interesting. It was hours later Ace said he was tired and they called it a day. The next day, they tried to teach Ace how to control people, which Ace actually managed a small bit. He managed to make Claus walk in a circle, and it had the Lords impressed. Ace was learning fast it seemed like.

That was how the next day was, Ace training and settling to being a Descendant.

Teach looked at the Dread Doctors. "You failed!" Tha Pathologist spoke. "We lost someone." Teach growled "I don't care! It was just some vampires and pirates!" The Surgeon spoke. "They had two strong witches with a device which rendered our powers useless up close. And because of you, you rushing us, the vampire was awakened and we lost the Geneticist. Which means we need someone to take their place." Teach didn't care about that. "Then find someone!" The two doctors looked at each other, before they looked at him and started to walk closer to him, which had Teach take a step back. "Not me!" The Pathologist spoke. "You're at fault, so you will take their place." Teach tried to run, but suddenly the Pathologist was in front of him and everything went black.

Ace didn't know what to do as he sat and looked at his wings, having a break now. They were still docked and Vincent and Clear would leave tomorrow. He had learned a lot, but there was also a lot he couldn't do. But he was sure Lance and Marco remembered it and would help him. He felt… overwhelmed. The others seemed to get this, which was good. As the clock was nearing noon, Aoba came over to him and asked to speak with him in private, which Ace said fine to. He was glad Aoba was human again, and everyone seemed to think the same, especially Shanks. Shanks didn't have anything against vampires, but Aoba had been human originally, but was turned by a Level D as a child. Now he was human again which was great.

When they were in Aoba's room, Ace looked at Aoba. "What is-" Aoba grabbed his shoulders. "Ace, please, change me." Ace blinked. "Wha- no! You're human again!" Aoba nodded. "I know, but I want to be a vampire again! I hate this! I feel everything! I need to remember to breathe! I get sunburned! I need to remember to drink water! Food tastes awful! Blood was better! Please Ace, please, change me." Aoba whispered the last part, and Ace didn't know what to do. "If I change you, and you regret that… I don't think I can change you back to human again…" Aoba shook his head. "I don't care! I want to be a vampire! I liked it! Please Ace!" Ace shook his head. "I- I can't…" Aoba shook his head. "If you don't, I will make you. I will kill myself and you have no choice." Ace blinked. "You can't! You can live a normal life now!" Aoba shook his head, moving his hands to his arms. "No, I don't want a normal life! I want my old life back! Please Ace, please." Ace shook his head, he didn't know what to do. "I- I have never turned anyone before!" Aoba shook his head. "Then turn me! Please turn me! I don't want to live like this!" Ace felt he wanted to cry. He didn't want to do this and moved a bit away from Aoba.

Aoba moved his hand to his sweater and moved it away from his neck, showing his jugular vein, which pulsated so perfectly. "Turn me." Ace swallowed. "I- I can't." Aoba moved closer. "Do it!" Ace closed his eyes. "I can't!" Aoba gave a growl. "I will kill myself then! And you have no choice!" Ace thought for a second, he didn't want to do this, but he didn't want Aoba to hurt himself. "Okay! Okay, I'll do it…" Aoba nodded. "Thank you. Do you know how?" Ace shook his head. "No…" Aoba nodded. "You need to take all my blood, then feed me yours. I will wake up again." Ace swallowed. "What if you don't?" Aoba smiled. "I will. That is how this works. As long as you take everything, I will wake again. Remember to feed me yours, so I don't go insane. Or maybe I won't since you're a Descendant." Ace nodded slowly. He didn't like this, but didn't know what else to do.

Ace wanted to cry, and Aoba moved to hold his hands and squeezed them. "Ace, please, do this for me. I hate being human." Ace nodded and took a breath, and Aoba took off his sweater, and Ace could see he was sunburned on his arms and a bit on his chest. Aoba moved close and Ace closed his eyes, trying to keep tears away, before he opened them and Aoba looked at him with a compassionate look. "I love you, Ace." Ace nodded. "I love you too.. Please wake up." Aoba smiled. "I will."

Then Ace walked up to Aoba and bit down on his neck. When the warm blood filled his mouth, Ace felt warm inside as Ace loved the taste of the warm blood, but this also felt so wrong. When he felt the steady stream of blood grow weaker, Aoba did as well, slumping onto him, and Ace held him up, before he felt no more blood, and moved Aoba to lie on the floor, being sure he took all the blood.

As he felt he had taken it all, no longer seeing any blood pulsating inside Aoba, he moved his own hand to his mouth, but on it, making it bleed, before he moved to let some drops fall into Aoba's mouth, and Ace didn't know if he should do anything else. Ace moved a hand and wiped some blood away from his mouth, before he looked at the still body. "Aoba?" No reaction. Ace swallowed. "Aoba? Please wake up!" No reaction. Ace wanted to cry as there was no reaction. How long would this take? He should have asked that. He could see his sunburn going away, his skin going to its usual pale look, but Aoba made no movement.

He sniffled. "Aoba! Wake up!" Ace felt himself unable to breathe, he needed to go get help and stood up, on his way to just get someone, when he heard laughter, and turned to see Aoba laughing. "Sorry sorry, I had to." Ace gave a breath, before he moved to punch Aoba in the shoulder as he sat up. "Don't do that! I was worried you wouldn't wake up!" Aoba chuckled. "I knew it would work." Ace shook his head, feeling a red tear falling as he hugged Aoba, who slowly hugged back, before more tears fell as Aoba spoke in a regretful voice. "I'm sorry, I just needed to. I didn't mean to make you cry." Ace shook his head and moved backwards and dried his tears. "You scared me." Aoba made a remorseful look. "I'm sorry." Ace shook his head. "No, you're fine, I don't care about anything else. You're everything to me." Aoba smiled. "Same here. I really do love you."

They then hugged again, and Ace felt a few more tears falling, before he remembered something. "I don't know how to tell the others…" Aoba shook his head. "No, let us wait, try and keep this between us for now. I am sorry I forced you, but I couldn't be… human anymore." Ace nodded, he maybe got it, Aoba had been a vampire for most of his life, so it was what he knew. And food probably didn't taste good, blood was amazing. He didn't want to be judged right now.

But what neither knew, was that the moment Ace bit into Aoba, the other Lords felt it and knew exactly what was happening.
