Alvara knocked on the door lightly. The door opened and she was face-to-face with Zero. He looked down at her coldly. Any other girl would've been scared or unsure of themselves. Maybe even flustered. She pushed past him and slammed her hands on the headmaster's desk.

"I want to transfer to another school sir." She said determined.

"Its only been a week and you want to leave? What're your reasons?"

"My reasons are for me only."

"I'm afraid you can't transfer schools Alvara. I believe it was your parents dying wish to go to this school no?" He said adjusting his glasses. Alvara held back her anger.

"Don't talk about my family when you never knew them to begin with. I only asked out of respect." She turned and walked out of the room. When she was sure no one was around she punched the tree closest to her with all her strength. Her knuckles turned red and started to bleed. The tree was perfectly fine. Cursing, she went to kick it but someone stopped her. Zero glared down at her as he held onto her ankle.

"Get to class." He ordered letting go of her.

"If I don't? Going to shoot me? Stop acting tough. Everyone knows who you really are." She spat her voice colder than ice. Alvara walked past him even more pissed off than before.

Everyone and everything was getting on Alvara's nerves. She snapped at the teachers, snapped at the students, and punched the mirror in the girls bathroom. She was unstable. Her nightmares were starting to come back even when she wasn't asleep. Everything set her on edge. The flutter of paper, the laughter of students...she would go insane if this went any longer. Classes soon came to an end and everyone went to their dorm rooms. Except Alvara of course. She climbed a top a tree and laid on the branch trying to calm herself down. Her heart was racing, her ears were pounding, her hands trembled. For a split second everything turned red and the murderer was back. It was too much. She couldn't breathe. Her lungs were closing up.

"What did I tell you about sneaking out?!" Zero shouted angrily. Alvara looked down at him her eyes glazed over. She wasn't there anymore but somewhere else. Somewhere in her head. This startled the young man. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" Her body began to move on it's own. She jumped down from the tree and tackled Zero pinning him down. Her fingers dug into his skin until they drew blood.

The night students would come out soon. The faint smell of blood drew them out. One of them reached out for Alvara. In a blur, the student fell to the ground with an expression of shock on their severed head. Kaname stood over them.

"I do hate it when people try to take my thjngs." He spoke calmly. All the others fled in terror leaving the three. Zero tried to get out of Alvara's grip but she had hit one of his pressure points. If he moved she could knock him out or even worse...kill him. Kaname pulled the girl off of Zero and held her in his arms. Her eyes focused back onto reality.

Once she saw what she had done, she felt sick.

"I cant be here. I'm-I'm not ready for this." Her voice was steady but her body betrayed her. She trembled violently. Kaname let go of her and smiled.

"Not everyone is ready." A million thoughts ran through her head. What if she hadn't came back in time? What if she killed Zero? What if she killed Kaname? What if- "Everything is going to be ok." His voice pulled her back to him. Alvara looked up at Kaname. Why did he sound to sure of her? Why did he sound like he understood her pain and trauma?
