Alvara woke up to the sun shining in her face and the soft humming of her mother.
"Mom?" She croaked.
"Shh, it's okay. You're okay. Everything is going to be okay." Her voice was like honey. She planted a kiss on her daughter's forehead before disappearing in the blinding light.
Alvara woke up for real this time. Zero was passed out by her bed. He looked so calm and...pretty when he was asleep. For a split second, she let her guard down and smiled warmly. For the first time since the accident, she felt calm. She couldn't remember her dream but the feeling when she woke up was warm and fuzzy. Author Note: So sorry I haven't updated in a while! I lost interest in writing this and didn't know where the plot was going. But I promise I will try my best to keep writing this story if you want me to!
