Chapter 6 message
The walls were covered in claw and scorch marks, the prime was still in a blind rage, and the autobots had to relocate to an empty aircraft hangar in area 51, having to leave Optimus in the hidden bunker below the pentagon. Fowler had given strict orders to stay away from Optimus until this was sorted out. But smokescreen couldn't take it. Isolation was the last thing Optimus needed. Once he got a moment alone, he opened a ground bridge to the hidden bunker. Smokescreen was greeted by a fireball that barely missed his helm. "it's ok Optimus, it's me smokescreen, calm down. Please?" he squeaked. The primes optics shifted colors as he paced around the room. "Smokescreen! What are you doing? Did you not get magnus' orders?" ratchet yelled over the comm. "I'm sorry ratchet. But isolating him won't help. He needs a friend. Not the feeling of betrayal." smokescreen replied. He then turned off his comm and leaned against the wall, watching Optimus. "I'm sorry boss. We're doing everything we can. It's really tempting to let Miko loose on the hydra and snuff it like she did with hardshell." Optimus replied with a deep growl, his optics shifting to a deeper purple. "Okay, no dragon talk, sorry. I just wish we could get you out of here." smokescreen sighed. The primes eyes shifted colors briefly as he relaxed a bit.
"Listen. You're not a monster. You're not a beast; you are our leader. We need you Optimus. Don't let this control you. Were here, we won't leave you. I promise. I better head back before ratchet blows a gasket." smokescreen sighed. The primes eyes shifted blue though he remained in dragon form. Then he said over short band, *thanks smokescreen. I needed to hear that. * He then proceeded to curl up in the corner for a power down. Smokescreen nodded as he requested a ground bridge and left. The kid sure was persistent.
Optimus looked around and saw nothing but a deep purple fog. His shoulder was unbearably sore and he felt very light helmed. Then he saw onyx. The thick fog started to swirl around him like a tornado. his shoulder felt like it was being ripped in two. He tried to cry out for help but he couldn't hear anything over the storm. "Onyx help me!" he cried. The storm grew worse. "there's nothing I can do. The venom is causing outbursts and is feeding off of your guilt. Trust yourself. Your fear is dragging you down. "Onyx growled. The storm grew worse. It was like his arm had been ripped off.
Optimus woke up with a jolt. The pain was unbearable. The transformed and activated his comm. "ratchet! help" he collapsed just as the portal opened; he only caught a glimpse of rachets face before he blacked out. Optimus found himself in the same place he had seen onyx. But this time there was no storm, and he was alone. What was it with this place? What kept bringing him here? "Onyx? Primus? Anyone? What in Alpha Trion's beard is going on?" he saw someone standing nearby, but he couldn't believe who it was.
"Megatron." he growled.
"Indeed Optimus. But there's no need for alarm, I simply have a request." he smirked. "What do you want. Need to dispose of another failed ally?" Optimus retorted. Megatron glared at him. "The hydra is killing off a ton of my solders. And I need a hand with removing it, before he kills all cybertronians left." the primes rage was returning. "Why do you think I care?" Megatron was taken aback by the hateful tone in his voice. Optimus wasn't usually like that. "It has started targeting humans. I'm sure there's a valid reason there." Optimus glared at him. The primes optics flashed purple, "ill consider. Now leave me alone." Megatron nodded his helm and the prime was alone in the purple fog realm.
Optimus sighed. This whole scenario made him feel like a prisoner in a zombie apocalypse. "Optimus." the primes optics shifted to a deeper purple. "Go away primus." he glared at the mech standing behind him. "Go away and leave me alone." primus nodded his head. "Understood. I'll give you some time." primus left Optimus standing alone in the fog. A single tear rolled down Optimus' faceplates. "I wish I'd never decided to investigate that signal." he whispered.
