Chapter 10 planned part 2
The gray mech stood silently as he watched starscream practice attack maneuvers with their newly acquired beast. He had to admit, the hydra was powerful. And he could only hope it could take down the autobots as easily as it had no doubt finished of Optimus with his venom.
Megatron calmly stepped out of the way as the beast threw starscream into the wall with a loud shriek. He grinned at the small flier complained as he recovered from his, defeat.
"The beast seems to be doing just fine lord Megatron. Why can't we attack the autobots already?" starscream grumbled. Megatron rolled his optics. "Because soundwave is still trying to figure out how to lure the autobots into our trap, and if Optimus is even still alive." he growled.
Starscream got back to training the beast as Megatron headed to the med bay where shockwave was studying a predion bone. "What progress have you made shockwave?" Megatron huffed. Shockwave showed the gray mech the talon he was examining and said, "I believe I may be able to clone an army of the predicons, using the DNA in these bones. I have worked on this project during my time on cybertron, and the specimen might just be ready."
Megatron nodded his helm and said, "perfect. Gather a squadron and go retrieve this, project of yours. If that hydra fails then we will have a backup predicon." shockwave nodded and left.
A few hours later, a spacebridge request came from shockwave. Soundwave opened the portal on the flight deck where Megatron, starscream, and the hydra were waiting. Shockwave came through the portal followed by his eradicon crew. "i have retrieved the specimen. The predicon was indeed ready." shockwave turned to the portal as a giant beast came through. The hydra was roughly half its size, despite that fact, he really didn't like the new pred on the ship.
Megatron let out a menacing laugh, "perfect. Well, done shockwave. The autobots won't stand a chance."
