Standard Uniform: The uniform of a soldier in the Royal Equestrian Army consists of a dark blue kepi, a dark blue tunic jacket with brass buttons and ranks on the upper arms for officers. A leather belt with a brass buckle, and a black or white leather baldric holds the ammunition pouch and a sheath for a bayonet, or for an officer their pistol and saber
Rations: Cornmeal Mush or 'Coosh' is a staple among these soldiers. Often times, the Griffons will add their 'salt pork' rations to the mush to make it taste better, and sometimes honey to make a breakfast. Hardtack biscuits are one army staple that is not too well-loved by troops. Other items such as coffee, beans, and even bread can be found in rations

Overview: Headed by Prince Blueblood, the Prince had gained support in Southern Equestria as well as aid from Trottingham and Trotland for him to gain a throne that he feels is rightfully his. With his army does lack the industrial might of the Equestrian Royal Army, Prince Blueblood's troops make up for it with their tenacity and a sacred duty to resist
While Princess Celestia and Princess Luna champion equal rights for all species, Prince Blueblood seeks to make Equestria for 'Ponies Only'. In a statement, Blueblood is quoted as saying: 'Our land is named after Ponies, we Ponies have magic, and all the power. Why should we allow anypony else to settle in our lands?' A lot of ponies followed his words.

Standard Uniform: The uniform of a pony-soldier in The Army of the Equestrian Confederacy consists of a 'cadet grey' kepi, a grey tunic jacket with brass buttons and ranks on the upper arms for officers. A leather belt with a brass buckle, and black leather baldric holds an ammunition pouch and sheath for a bayonet, or for an officer, a pistol and saber.
Rations: Soldiers can expect the standard hay rations as well as cornmeal, fresh vegetables and even canned provisions such as lima beans and corn. White cornbread was also given to these Pony-Soldiers since wheat was not a big crop down in the south. Often times in their encampments, soldiers will often pool their rations together and make stews.
