It was a beautiful day. Fluttershy was out picking flowers with her animal friends."

"La la la la la la la la la." She sang when a little squirrel came and offered her a dandelion.

"Thank you little squirrel." She said. "But remember, these flowers are for Princess Celestia, only the prettiest ones will do."

Then a gust of wind came and blew the dandelion away, so the squirrel ran off.

"La la la la la la la la la." Fluttershy sang when she heard a noise and saw a rock move a little. "Ah!" She screamed and hid behind a basket of apples.

Then from behind the rock she saw a strange bug-like creature. It was blue with a circular body, large green eyes, four little black legs and insect wings.

Fluttershy walked up to the creature. "Hello little guy." She said. "I've never seen anything like you before."

The little creature then went near an apple. "Oh are you hungry." She used her hoof to mush the apple. "Here you go."

But the creature just flew up to the basket and ate all the apples. Fluttershy was surprised. "I guess you were hungry."

The creature then flew and snuggled into her mane. "You're the cutest thing ever." Fluttershy said. "I can't wait to show you to my friends."

So Fluttershy walked back to Ponyville. Meanwhile at the Golden Oaks Library Twilight, Luna, and Spike were cleaning the place up as there were books lying around everywhere.

"Oh! Hurry up, Spike!" Said Twilight. "This place isn't gonna clean itself."

"It also didn't mess itself up." Said Spike annoyed.

"Okay I finished mopping the other room." Said Luna coming in with a mop and bucket.

"Good, thanks Luna." Said Twilight. "Princess Celestia will be here tomorrow!"

"I thought this was just an unofficial casual visit." Said Spike.

"There's nothing casual about a visit from royalty." Twilight explained. "I want this place to be spotless, and you've barely made a dent in the clutter."

"Can't you just cast a spell that will put all the books back in place for us?" Asked Luna.

"And risk stacking them in a random, unorganized order?" Asked Twilight. "Not likely."

Spikie was climbing on a latter to stack some books. "Maybe you should, uhh, start reading them one at a time." Said Spike before falling off the latter. "Woah, aw."

"Everything's got to be perfect." Said Twilight. "No time for fooling around."

"You know, this would be an awful lot easier if there weren't three of us here getting under each other's feet." Said Spike.

"Good idea." Said Twilight handing him a feather duster. "You clean, Luna and I will go see how everyone else's preparations are coming."

With that Luna and Twilight marched into town.

"Or maybe I should..." Said Spike but they already left. He let out a frustrated graon.

As Luna and Twilight walked through Ponyville they saw all the amazing decorations. They then saw two ponies hang a banner saying "Welcome Princess Celest".

"What happened to the rest of her name?" Asked Twilight.

"We couldn't fit it all in." Said one of the ponies.

"You can't hang a banner that says "Welcome Princess Celest". Said Twilight. "Take it down and try again."

The two friends then saw a pony watering some flowers. "That looks perfect." Said Twilight.

"Keep up the good work." Added Luna.

Luna and Twilight then made their way to Sugar Cube Corner, where the cakes were preparing a banquet.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Cake." Said Twilight poking throught the front door. "How's the banquet coming?"

Mrs Cake however looked unsure about something. "Uh,it would be coming a little better if..." Mrs. Cake pointed at all the food that had been partially eaten. The culprit for this was Pinkie Pie. Then Pinkie went and gobbled up a hole cake. Then she had a fake beard made from all the frosting which she quickly licked off, leaving behind the crown decoration on her head..

Luna only face palmed. "Pinkie."

Twilight then went up to her. "Pinkie! What are you doing?" Asked Twilight. "Those sweets are supposed to be for the princess."

"I know." Said Pinkie sheepishly. "That's why I'm tasting them, somepony needs to make sure that everything is tasty enough to touch the royal tongue." Pinkie told her. "And I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king. Or a queen. Or a princess!" She said in a royal tone. Pinkie then was about to take a bite out of another cake when Fluttershy came in.

"Twilight, Luna, Pinkie. You won't believe-" But she stopped. "Oh I'm sorry. Uh am I interupting?"

"No, not at all. Come on in and make yourself at home." Said Pinkie before eating the cake. "What's going on Fluttershy."

"You won't believe what I found at the edge of the Everfree Forest." Fluttershy then turned to her mane. "Come on out, little guy. It's okay."

But to Fluttershy's shock there were two more of the strange creatures. The blue one was now accompanied by a yellow one and brown one. Fluttershy gasped. "Three?"

Luna and Twilight were intrigued by the creatures.

"They're amazing." Said Twilight.

"They're so cute." Asked Luna. "What are they?"

"I'm not sure." Fluttershy admitted. "I'm also not sure where these other two came from."

"I'll take one off your hooves. I've never seen anything so, adorable." Said Twilight. "Besides, it'll be nice to have a companion for Spike so he won't bother me so much while I'm studying." She said blushing.

"Pinkie do you want the other one?" Asked Fluttershy.

But Pinkie wasn't as happy as her friends were. "Ugh! A parasprite?" She said in disgust. "Are you kidding?"

"Ugh?" Asked Fluttershy.

"A para-what?" Asked Twilight.

"How could you not like them?" Asked Luna.

Pinkie just groaned. "Now I gotta go find a trombone."

"A what?" Asked Twilight.

"A trombone." Said Pinkie. "You know." She then did an imitation of a trombone.

"Ahh, typical Pinkie." Said Twilight.

"Well if Pinkie doesn't want it, I'll gladly take the third one." Said Luna.

So Fluttershy gave it to her.

Later at the Carousel Boutique Rairty was putting a dress on Rainbow Dash.

"Stand still Rainbow Dash." Said Rarity.

"Ugh, I can't." Said Dash. "I need to fly, this is way to boring for me."

"Do you want to look nice for Princess Celestia or not?" Asked Rarity.

Suddenly Twilight and Luna came in.

"Wow. Rarity, those outfits are gorgeous." Said Twilight.

"As always." Added Luna.

"Hmm. Thank you, Twilight and Luna." Said Rarity. "Nice to know someone appreciates my talents."

Rainbow groaned again. "So boring."

Suddenly they heard noises from Twilight's mane and Luna's hair.

"What's that sound girls?" Asked Dash.

Suddenly the Parasprites came out of Luna and Twilights mane and hair. Only Twilight now had three, a pink one, a yellow one and a blue one.

"Wow!" Said Dash. "What are they?"

"The better question is, where did they come from?" Said Twilight. "I only had one a minute ago."

"I'll take one." Dash voluntered.

"Me too." Said Rarity. "Oh they're perfect."

Suddenly Pinkie came in. "Does anypony know where I can find an accordion?"

But the others were too busy with the parasprites that they didn't even notice her.

"Gals, hello!" Said Pinkie. "This is important!" But they still didn't notice her. Pinkie just groaned. "Thanks a lot." Pinkie then left.

Later that night at the Golden Oaks Library. The entire plcae was spotless and sparkling clean. Yet Twilight was still not sure.

"Oh. The decorations, the banquet." Said Twilight. "I really hope everything comes together in time for tomorrow."

"I'm sure it will." Luna assured her friend.

They then looked at Spike and the sleeping Parasprite cuddled up together.

"Sure are cute when they're asleep huh." Said Luna.

"Yeah." Twilight then let out a yawn. "You know what Luna, you're right. What's there to worry about."

With that Luna and Twilight went to sleep.

However the next morning, Twilight woke up to a shocking sight. Her bed was filled with more parasprites.

Suddenly Luna also woke up. "Ahhh! They're everywhere!"

Twilight then ran up to Soike to wake him up. "Spike wake up! What happened?!"

Spike woke up and screamed because of the two parasprites in his eyes and pulled them out. "What's going on!?"

"Where did they come from?" Asked Twilight.

"I don't know." Said Spike. "The little guy got hungry in the night, so I gave him a snack." He explained. "But, I have no idea where these others came from."

Suddenly the parasprites began making a mess in the library.

"Oh no!" Shouted Spike. "They're messing up all my hard work!"

"The princess will be here in a few hours." Said Twilight.

"What do we do?" Asked Luna.

"Spike help me round up these little guys." Said Twilight.

Spike was currently carrying a basket full of parasprites. "What does it look like I'm doing." Said Spike struggling to keep balance before falling over. Twilight gave him an annoyed look. "I know. I know, stop fooling around." He said.

Meanwhile in Cloudsdale, Rainbow was currently asleep when she was awoken by a blue parasprite. But then she noticed a pink one. Then she looked around and saw a whole bunch of them. They got on her so she got them off, but they got on her again. She screamed.

"AHHHHH!" She flew off.

When she stopped the Parasprites got on her again so she got them off again. But they just go on her again. This kept on repeating a few times until they got on Dash's face and she couldn't get them off. So she flew off again screaming.

Meanwhile at the Carousel Boutique Rarity had also discovered the multiple parasprites but was taking it better than the others and had put them to work.

"Not only are you adorable." Said Rarity. "But you're also quite useful."

But then one of the parasprites didn't look well. "Oh! Are you okay?" Asked Rarity with concern. Then the parasprite threw up what appeared to be a hairball right on her eye.

Rarity was disguted. "Eww." Then the hairball turned into another parasprite. "Ahh!" Screamed Gross, gross, gross. No creature that behaves so revoltingly is allowed in my boutique!" She declared.

But then the parasprites multiplied again.

"AHHHH!" Rarity screamed again.

Rarity managed to gather all the parasprites in a saddlebag and exited the the boutique when Pinkie showed up with a harmonica. "Look Rarity, Applejack loaned me a harmonica." She said before playing it. "Isn't that great." Pinkie then saw the parasprites in Rarity's saddlebag. "And not a moment too soon."

Rarity wasn't amused. "Ugh Pinkie, I'm a little busy right now."

"And I'm not?" Asked Pinkie. "You know how many more instruments I've gotta find?" She said. "A lot that's how many." Pinkie then put a hoof around Rarity. "Now if we split the list between us we might just make it in time."

"Please Pinkie, I don't have time for some silly scavenger hunt." Said Rarity. "I've got a real problem."

"You've got a real problem all right." Pinkie agreed. "And a banjo is the only answer." Piknie then ran off.

Meanwhile Rarity ran into Twilight and Luna. She gasped when she saw Twilight's saddlebag. "I see where having the same problem."

"Ditto" Said Rainbow who came out of nowhere being chased by the parasprites.

"Fluttershy knows everything about animals." Said Twilight. "I'm sure she can tell us how to stop them from multiplying."

They then went to Flutthershy's cottage but when they opened the door more parasprites flew out.

"Or not." Said Luna.

"Do something Fluttershy!" Screamed Twilight.

"Can't you control them?" Asked Luna.

"I've tried everything I know." Said Fluttershy. "I've tried begging, and pleading, and beseeching, and asking politely..."

Twilight looked nervous. She then imagined Princess Celestia arriving and the Parasprites carrying her off as she screamed.

"If we can't get them under control before the princess arrives it'll be a total disaster." Said Twilight.

Rarity then saw a yellow parasprite cough up a brown one. "Ew, if you ask me it's already a total disaster." She said.

"What are we gonna do?" Asked Luna. "They're everywhere!"

Suddenly Applejcak showed up with a wagon of apples. "Here's all those apples you wanted Fluttershy." She said. "But I still can't figure why you need so many."

Applejack got her answer when a bunch of parasprites came and ate all the apples. "Hey!"

"What do we do?" Asked Fluttershy.

Twilight then got an idea. "I got it." She said. "Nopony can herd like Applejack."

"That could work." Said Luna.

"Yeah." Rainbow agreed. "We can drive them back into the forest."

"I'll rustle them up but I need everypony's help to do it." Said Applejack. "Twilight you, Luna, and Rarity wait over there." She instructed. "I'll herd the little critters straight at you like a funnel. Rainbow Dash you and Fluttershy stay on top of them don't let them fly away."

"Aye aye." Said Dash.

"Yee haw!" Cried Applejack.

The group began herding the parasprites and gathered them in a ball.

"Alright y'all, here goes nothing" Said Applejack. "Look out Rarity, that one's fixing to get away."

A parasprite got out but Dash chased it back in. "Keep a lead on them Rainbow Dash." Said Applejack. "Hold on girls we're almost there."

Twilight and Luna then noticed Pinkie running with them.

"Pinkie." Said Luna.

"Twilight, Luna, we don't have much time." She told them.

"You're telling me." Said Twilight. "The princess could arrive at any moment."

"Exactly." Said Pinkie. "That's why I need you gals to drop what you're doing and help me find some maracas."

"Maracas?" Asked Luna.

"Pinkie we've got much bigger problems than missing maracas." Said Twilight.

"You're right." Said Pinkie. "Getting a tuba has to be our number one goal." She then ran off. "Follow me."

But Pinkie came back running backwards when she saw nopony was following her. "I said follow me."

"Pinkie Pie you are so random." Said Dash, annoyed.

"And you are all so stubborn!" Pinkie declared before leaving.

"Forget her ladies." Said Applejack. "Focus. Head them up and move them out."

Finally the gang rolled them back into the forest.

"Alright!" Said Dash. She hoof bumped Fluttershy but a little too hard. "Ouch." Said Fluttershy.

"We did it." Said Twilight. "Nice work Applejack."

"Couldn't have done it without y'all." Said Applejack.

"I'm glad that's all over." Said Luna.

"Now let's get back and clean up the mess they made before the princess arrives." Said Twilight.

"Good idea." Luna agreed.

The gang soon made their way back to Fluttershy's cottage.

"Okay everyone knows what to do right?" Asked Twilight. "We gotta work extra hard to make up for lost time."

Fluttershy opened the door to her cottage but as soon as she did a buch more parasprites flew out. "Ah!"

"Where did they come from?" Asked Twilight.

"Well I may have kept just one." Fluttershy said giving a nervous laugh with an orange parasprite behind her.

The others just glared at her angrily.

"I couldn't help myself." Said Fluttershy. "They're just so cute."

"We don't have time to keep rounding up these things." Said Luna.

"What do we do now?" Asked Twilight.

"We call in the air patrol." Said Dash. Rainbow then flew up. "Time to take out the adorable trash." She then flew around real fast creating a twister which engulfed all the parasprites.

"Way to go Rainbow Dash." Said Twilight.

"Looks like our problems are solved." Said Applejack.

Then Pinkie Pie came out of nowhere. "They will be with these cymbals." But hen the twister sucked them too. "Hey give me those back."

The cymbals caused a problem in Rainbow Dash's flight. "I can't hold it, she's breaking up." Rainbow was then knocked out of the twister and the parasprites escaped and headed for Ponyville.

"Pinkie Pie what have you done!?" Twilight asked angrily.

"I've lost a brand new pair of cymbals." Said Pinkie. "That's what I've done."

"Will you forget about your silly instruments for one second?" Asked Luna "You're ruining our efforts to save Ponyville."

"I'm not the ruiner. I'm the ruin-ee!" Said Pinkie. "Or is it ruiness?" She asked. "Ruinette?"

"Come on girls there's no reasoning with that one." Said Applejack. "She's a few apples short of a bushel."

With that the others went off.

"Hey!" Screamed Pinkie. "I'm trying to tell you all that the ruining is on the other hoof!" She claimed. "If you'd just slow down and listen to me!" But no one did.

Soon the parasprites began slowly raining down on Ponyville. At first all the ponies smiled at how adorable they were. A pony named Bon Bon and her friend Lyra were watching. Bon Bon caught a blue parasprite and thought it was adorable. Until it went and gobbled up two pieces of cake.

Another pony was gardening when the parasprites ate her garden. Soon the parasprites began devouring everything.

"What do we do?" Asked Fluttershy. "They're eating all the food in town."

"My apples!" Said Applejack before running off.

"We've gotta do something." Said Twilight before getting an idea. "I got it. I'll cast a spell to make them stop eating all the food."

Twilight then went and cast her spell and it seemed to work when the parasprites stopped.

Pinkie then came by with tambourines. "Look tambourines." She said. "If you could all just..." But she saw no one was listening so she screamed in irritation.

Twilight then noticed one looking at an apple. She looked nervous but calmed down when it didn't eat it. But the calm didn't last when it ate the bucket instead. Then the parasprites began eating the entire town.

"Hey it worked." Said Dash sarcastically. "They're not eating the food anymore." Twilight just smiled nervously.

"Oh no." Said Rarity. "If they get inside my store... EVERYPONY FOR HERSELF!"

Rarity ran back to her boutique but the parasprites were already inside. "My outfits!"

She tried to get rid of them but it was no good. Then Pinkie showed up. "I'll save you."

Rarity smiled but Pinkie just blew on a recorder and then left taking it. Rarity just screamed.

Meanwhile back at Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack along with Big Mac and Granny Smith were ready for the parasprites.

"No woodland creature's gonna eat the Apple Family's crop." Said Applejack. They then saw the parasprites coming. "Brace yourself y'all. Here they come."

But thanks to Twilight's spell they ignored the apples and ate the barn instead much to the Apple's surprise. "Didn't see that one coming." Said Applejack.

Twilight and Luna soon made there way back to the library.

"Help!" Cried Spike hiding underneath a basket. When the girls came in they saw that the entire library had parasprites in it eating everything including words in books.

"They're eating the words!" Said Twilight.

"How is that even possible?!" Luna asked.

Twilight then grabbed a red parasprite and ran off with it.

"Twilight wait for me." Said Luna following her.

"Help!" Spike cried again.

Luna and Twilight soon made their way to Zecora's.

Zecora was balancing herself upside down on a stick when the girls came in causing her to lose balance. "Egad. Have you two gone mad?"

"Zecora these little guys are devouring Ponyville and the princess is on her way." Said Twilight.

"Can you help us?" Asked Luna. "Please!"

Zecora looked shocked. "Oh monster of so little size." Said Zecora. "Is that a parasprite before my eyes?"

"I don't know." Said Twilight. "Is it?"

"Tales of crops and harvests consumed." Said Zecora. "If these creatures are in Ponyville you're doomed."

"That's it?" Said Luna.

Soon she and Twilight went back to Ponyville. Twilight then saw Princess Celestia's chariot. "Oh no here she comes."

"Well looks like we won't have to worry about the threat against Equestria after all." Said Luna.

Twilight and Luna went back to town and saw all the destruction. This caused Twilight to go a little crazy.

"Okay here's the plan." Said Twilight. "Rainbow Dash you distract them." Dash then flew by with some parasprites chasing her.

"Good." Said Twilight. "Everyone else we need to build an exact copy of Ponyville right over there." She said. "We've got less than a minute."

Luna was getting scared so she began shaking Twilight. "Twilight, snap out of it!" She said. "Even if we did do that they'd just destroy that too!"

Twilight knew she was right and so was Zecora. "You're right and so was Zecora, we're doomed."

Suddenly they heard instruments. "Oh no, the princess's procession is here." Twilight panicked. "It's all over!"

But it wasn't a procession it was Pinkie playing a bunch of instruments.

"Pinkie, we're in the middle of a crisis here." Said Twilight. "This is no time for your..."

"Twilight look." Said Luna.

They then saw the parasprites were dancing along to the music.

"Nonsense?"

The others couldn't believe it either.

"Look." Twilight said pointing to the Princess. They all went up to her and bowed.

"Twilight Sparkle, my prized pupil." She greeted them.

"Hello Princess." Twilight greeted back.

"So lovely to see you again." She said. "As well as your friends."

They then saw Pinkie pass by with the parasprites.

"So how was the trip." Asked Twilight. "Hit much traffic?"

But Celestia was more focused on the current situation. "What's this?" She asked. A parasprite then landed on her wing which made her giggle. "These creatures are adorable." Said Celestia.

"They're not that adorable." Said Dash.

"Shh!" Luna said covering Dash's mouth.

"I'm terribly honored that you and the good citizens of Ponyville have organized a parade in honor of my visit." Said Celestia.

"Parade?" Asked Twilight. "Oh yes the parade."

"Unfortunately that visit is going to have to wait for another time." Celestia told them. "I'm afraid an emergency has come up in Fillydelphia." She explained.

"Emergency?" Asked Luna.

"Yes Luna. Apparently there's been some sort of infestation."

"An infestation?" Asked Twilight.

"Yes a swarm of incredibly bothersome creatures has inavded the poor town." Said Celestia. "I'm sorry Twilight to have to put you all through so much trouble."

"Trouble?" Asked Twilight. "What trouble?"

"No trouble at all." Said Luna.

"Before I have to go would you care to give me your latest report on the magic of friendship in person?" Celestia asked Twilight.

"My report?" Said Twilight.

"Haven't you learned anything about friendship?" Celestia asked her.

Twilight then looked at Pinkie who was still dealing with the parasprites. Twilight then smiled. "Actually, I have." She said. "I've learned that sometimes the solution to your problems can come from where you least expect it. It's a good idea to stop and listen to your friends' opinions and perspectives."

Pinkie then crashed her cymbals which made everyone wince a little.

"Even when they don't always seem to make sense." Twilight finished.

"I'm so proud of you Twilight Sparkle and I'm very impressed with your friends as well." Celestia said. "It sounds like you're all learning so much from each other."

"Thank you princess." Said Luna.

With that Celestia rode off.

After The Princess left the other went to Pinkie who had finished getting rid of the parasprites.

"Hey what happened to The Princess?" Asked Pinkie.

"Emergency in Fillydelphia." Explained Twilight.

"Some sort of infestation." Added Luna.

"Oh no, have they got parasprites too?" Asked Pinkie. "Well have tuba will travel."

"I think The Princess can handle it." Said Twilight.

"So you knew what those critters were all along huh Pinkie Pie?" Said Applejack.

"Well duh!" Said Pinkie. "Why do you think I was so frantic to get my hooves on all these instruments?" She told them. "I tried to tell you."

"We know Pinkie Pie." Said Twilight.

"And we're sorry we didn't listen to you." Said Luna.

Everyone also stepped in a apologized.

"You're a great friend." Said Twilight. "Even if we don't always understand you."

"Thanks guys." Said Pinkie. "You're all great friends too even when I don't understand me."

"You saved my reputation with Princess Celestia and more importantly you saved Ponyville." Said Twilight.

But they then returned to town and found it destroyed.

"Or not."

Pinkie then played a sad trombone.

Author's Note: Okay remebmber how I said that I was gonna skip some episodes well I'll be skipping "Winter Wrap Up" mainly because I didn't like the part where Applejack yells at Twilight and it just made me not wanna do the entire episode in general so sorry to those who looked forward to it but I'll be going straight to "Call of the Cutie" next.
