Now we are in our second chapter in the Synchro Dimension.

Ch. 5 The Wicked Witch of Arcadia
Yuri fell through the opening in the street. It was clearly the same kind of automated opening the city's security typically had control of but this was clearly not there doing.
As he plumeted towards what still appeared to still be the rugged and worn streets of the Commons. For a mere moment Yuri considered the possibility that he was hurtling towards his imminent death.
That until right before his body struck the ground Yuri felt as if his body had become weightless it being moved against his own will. Yuri looked to the ground seeing another sudden opening Yuri entered now in a new location.
Yuri landed on one knee closing and opening his hand to test if he had regained control of his own body. Yuri looked around to determine factors about his current location. He was on well carpeted floor with grey walls surrounding him on three sides in a long hall.
Yuri stood up contining to survay his position. He was close to being up against a wall. He looked in the opposite direction of it and didn't see a clear end partly due to the dull lighting.
Before Yuri could begin to move through the hallway himself he heard the noise of several others walking in his direction.
He squinted his eyes staring in the direction of the sound, and as a few moments passed he saw three figures emerge from the dimly lit passage.
The noise of shoes on carpet was only heard for a moment longer until Yuri clearly saw the three figures before him.
The center figure was that of a man, he wore a green vest. With a grey undershirt that has a white tie. His hair was red and long, as well going high up on the right. On his left was a short boy with large brown hair, wearing something that looked more fitting in a classroom then wherever they were. Then on his right was someone covered in a dark gre cloak, the only aspects not obscured by the fabric being there long dark burgundy hair and a white mask with marks to indicate where both the mouth and eyes would normally be seen.
"Ah, I'm so glad that you have arrived safely!" The center man said with a large inviting smile.
Yuri's predator instincts were alert. Why this man didn't feel physically dangerous to Yuri he felt like a threat in 'other' ways.
"Oh, how rude of me I havn't introduced myself. My name is Divine. I'm the one who has brought you here." Divine said as if he was performing a practiced presentation.
"Divine? That's a bit of bold name isn't it?" Yuri thought to himself snidely.
Divine continued to make eye contact with Yuri before suddenly snapping his fingers the direction of the short boy on his left. "Toby! Would get our guest some refreshments?" He said phrasing it as a question to hide it's nature as a demand. Blissfully unaware, the petite boy now known to be Toby just happily nodded and walked off with haste.
Divine looked back to Yuri still with a large smile. His arms open in a stance designed to make those around feel safe and invited. "Now I'm sure you must be dying from curiosity of where you are and what exactly this facility is, but before I explain that, I have introduced myself but I still don't know your name?" Divine said with a pondering tone playing up his need to know.
Yuri squinted to say felt apprehensive would be an understatement. He didn't like how talking to this man felt. "Yuri," He introduced himself it was an odd feeling needless to say. This man was eerie but not intimidating.
"Ah Yuri, what a lovely name! It reminds me of the snell of flower lilies in the morning. Now I could just explain this place but I'd much rather show you. Follow me." Divine said turning around beginning his stride without waiting for a response. The cloaked figure immediately moved to follow him, and Yuri despite annoyence at Divine's theatrics he had nothing else to do so followed as well.
As the three stroll through the facility they pased several figures in cloak with white sleeves, grey vest that had gold colored trimming as well as a teal patch located on there chest.
"You got a dress code or something? The boy from earlier didn't wear one?" Yuri asked aloud. "Not that I can judge the Professor had us color coordinated." Yuri thought internally.
"Those ropes are worn by our offical members. Toby is a new recruit. He is currently under consideration to be given full fledged status." Divine explained.
The three continue there stride finally reaching a general area. Tables filled the room with several of the cloaked figures sitting down and eating. Toby walked up with a tray that had a generic meal on it.
"Here's the refreshments you asked for Mr. Divine." Toby said hastily.
"Good work Toby! Place them down on this table for our guess." Divine praised causing Toby to light up with joy before Divine turned to Yuri. "I'm sure you must be starving I'll explain in detail while your eating." Divine said while having a warm smile.
"Your lucky that your right." Yuri said nonchalantly before sitting down beginning to eat.
"Your charming!" Divine said with empty praise. Then signaled Toby that he was free to leave Toby happily nodding in response then leaving.
Divine sat down across from Yuri. The black cloaked figure with a mask stood behind Divine.
"Now I'll explain. This facilty is the headquarters for my organization the Arcadia Movement! It is a organization for the unnatural! Those who can do things others don't understand! As a boy I was one of those people and I was feared and ostracized! As I grew in the City of Neo Domino it became clear to me that there where others like me and they were suffering! So out of the goodness of my heart I decided to make the world better for them! That's why I made this place somewhere regardless of wether your a Common a Top or even from another dimension you could call this place home and find community!" Divine presented moving his arms through the air placing emphasis on all the right words. Making eye contact with Yuri throughout the near performance all the while the masked figure remained silent.
Yuri halted his consumption of the meal for a second. "So this is some kind of secret society of people with 'super powers'?" Yuri nearly mocked with a smirk on his face.
"I see. So you doubt us. Don't worry it's only natural." Divine stated with a grin. "Aki! Demonstrate." Divine said turning his head to the black cloaked figure who rose there hand the spoon on Yuri's tray flying off into there hand. The top of it quickly being bent to the left without Aki moving her hand.
"Ok? So your some group of psychics?" Yuri asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Exactly!" Divine smiled warmly. "And I belive that you are one of us!" Divine stated confidently like whatever he stated was fact.
"Why?" Yuri asked tilting his head in befuddled motion.
"There are many of are members who were unaware of there gifts, and by my expert opinion from what I say during your duel with that member of Sector Security the collateral damage caused was beyond what should be possible by what normal solid vision should be able to cause." Divine explained.
Yuri lifted his head up slightly while still eating. Was this guy actually serious? Duelest with psychic powers how could that be real. "Well I guess it wouldn't be the most outlandish thing that was out there." Yuri thought to himself. I mean there where actually four dimensions and he was one of four counterparts from those dimensions that were predestined to try and absord each other. Wait after he absorbed Yugo he did start emanating dark energy and fired it at both Reiji Akaba and Yushow Sakaki. That was Zarc's energy so they where mistaking his connection to Zarc for there psychic powers.
Divine turned to Yuri. He had a beaming smile that he used to make people feel at ease. "That is the commonality between everyone here. Aki, when she was a student hospitalized one of her classmates with her own powers when they where immature. It was tragic just because of how she was born she was treated as a monster. Isolated from her peers it was terrible for her. Have you experienced anything like that?" Divine said giving a knowing look.
Yuri looked blankly at Divine. "Wow! you are good at this! I can see how you started this cult all by yourself, good work." Yuri praised getting up from his seat.
Divine's eyes widened. "Huh!" He blurted mouth agape.
"Sorry your not even the first person to try and induct me into something since I stopped being a child soldier." Yuri said in a joking tone before beginning to walk off.
"Wait!" Divine barked. He grit his teeth looking to Aki behind him.
Aki extended an arm shuting the doors that Yuri was walking towards. Next Yuri felt his own movements begin to be constricted.
"Now, now. Yuri! I don't belive you wuite understand what your trying to pass up on." Divine began standing up running his hand through his long hair.
"Oh?" Yuri hummed still smiling despite the circumstance.
Aki lossened her psychic grip on Yuri before Divine spoke. "You have a chance for community here! We could offer so..." Divine spoke before being interrupted.
"Stop, stop. Your embarrassing yourself. I know you've had a pretty easy time gathering the rest of these rejects but those played out tactics aren't going to work on me." Yuri explained grining tryong to hold back laughter.
"Wait! I assure you my intentions are nothing but pure." Divine said quickly his usual charisma dampened by his frustration.
"Oh, no. Is this the first time someone has called you out? Now that's just sad for both you and the smucks your manipulating." Yuri mocked
"Please don't disrespect Mr. Divine he made a home for us!" Toby stutteted approaching Yuri.
Yuri turned his head slightly making eye contact with Toby that caused the boy to flitch. "Who even are you?" Yuri asked with a mix of annoyance and genuine confusion. Toby quickly steped away from Yuri.
Despite the facilty being indoors there suddenly began to be a strong gust felt be all. Yuri's cape flaped in the growing gale as did the cloaks as the Arcadia Movements members.
The wind began to pick up and even spiral into mini tornadoes. Picking up trays food and even tables. All around one figure.
"Aaaaah! Aki's lost control of her powers again!" An Arcadia memner cried.
"I, will not stand for, anyone to insult Divine!" Aki seethed with a calice fury. Her black cloak flowing from the power of her storm.
Divine looked to Aki and smirked from satisfaction. He rose to his full stature and ran a hand through his hair regaining his usual composure.
Yuri's gaze lingered on the black cloaked figure they called Aki. "This is curious. That's far more then just amping the power of the solid vision. This women is a calamity waiting to happen." Yuri thought to himself.
Divine quickly and gracefully darted towards Aki. He used his own psychic powers to make his path more secure to Aki.
"Aki, Aki dear please calm down. This fools barbs have no affect on me. I'm fine." Divine soothed as the storm died down.
"Bu- But Divine. You heard what he was saying." Aki stuttered as Divine placed his left hand on her shoulder and his right on her chin shifting the mask slightly.
"It is simply because he is uneducated. The jeers of a Neanderthal cause me no strife. You shouldn't let this fools prattle to cause you to loss your temper. Remember all the work we've done to grant you control of your abilities." Divine requested in a tone of attempted sincerity.
Aki's mask shifted nearly falling before the women placed her hand on it to adjust it back to it's proper place. "I'm sorry, Divine I shouldn't have lost my temper. There isn't a world where that nave's words would enrage you." Aki apologized.
"He's good." Yuri mutteted to himself. "He has that women wrapped around his finger. He's even using her irrationally attachment to him to make himself seem even more benevolent. Sounds like someone I know." Yuri thought to himself as a image of the Professor came to mind.
"No need to apologize my dear Aki. But there is one way you can make it up to me." Divine lead causing Aki to lean in eager for the way.
"Why this fools belittling comments do not cause me any strife for my own sake. I cannot stand for him insulting my fellow members of the Arcadia Movement. As our strongest member it would mean the world to me if you would defend this community and safe world I have built for all of our psychic brothers and sisters." Divine pleaded dramatically placing a decision in Aki's hand he knew her answer to.
"Of course! Divine...of course I would defend this place. It's my home and it's all thanks to you that I have it!" Aki answered passionately.
Yuri turned to leave once more his patience to wait for something interesting having worn out. But as Yuri reached the doors they shut without someone even touching them.
Yuri turned back with a grin his eyes instantly locking with Divine. He stood calmly with a outstretched hand.
"Leaving so soon?!" Divine asks pompously.
"You better have a good reason for keeping me here. Or I'm killing everyone here." Yuri asks in a sickeningly sweet tone a glowing smile and his eyes shut.
A moment of silence followed. A sweat drop rolled down Divine's cheek. He let out a nervous chuckle breaking the silence. "Heh, I'll give you points for confidence. Since you seem to look down on my organization so much then it should be no issue for you to defeat our strongest duelist." Divine goaded.
"Your quite correct. It would be no issue. So why would I do it? I'm not the kind of brute that get's excited by pulverizing those drastically weaker then me." Yuri explained annoyed tone from his boredom.
"I thought those from the fusion dimension relished in trampling those weaker then them." Divine thought to himself.

I'm not that different from who I was am I? It's just that I've grown bored of watching the weak struggle." Yuri thought to himself detached.
"So your in prusuit of a worthy opponent?" Divine asked.
"I guess you can say that." Yuri answered.
"Perfect! Aki is our strongest duelist. We've estimated her skill to be approaching that of the former duel king Jack Atlas. I'm sure she will more then meet your expectations." Divine explained proud
Yuri looked at Divine for a moment before shrugging. "I've never dueled a psychic duelest before, so one as skilled as one of those who fought Zarc should at the very least manage to be a decent time kill." Yuri said plainly.
Divine wiped sweat from his brow. "Your arrogance will be your undoing she will show you why she is known as the Black Rose Witch across our entire dimension." Divine boasted.
"I'll show you the power of the Arcadia Movement." Aki says cooly walking up to Yuri.
"Don't you mean your power? Or are you really nothing without this fool telling you what to do?" Yuri asks sarcasticly.
Aki and Yuri stare each other down for a few moments. It looks as if Aki may have another outburst before she looks to Divine her demeanor becoming noticeably more calm.
"Let's get this door started we have a special arena to keep psychic powers better contained. Of course that's to keep the observers safe not the participants. But I'm sure your fine with that aren't you?" Divine explains leering down at Yuri with a conceited smirk.
Yuri matched Divine's smirk with one of his own.
Yuri and Aki stood at opposite sides of the room. It was a facility for dueling. Off to the left elavated over a dozen feet where the duelest stood seperated by a wall of glass stood Divine surrounded by the members of the Arcadia Movement.
Divine gestured to a button on a desk. "Now this duel is fir the very honor of the Arcadi Movement. Aki dear I have faith that you'll defend it." Divine said his voice projected by a speaker.
Aki nodded raising her arm through her dark cloak revealing a duel disk it activated with a dark burgundy blade.
"I'll show you the power I've honed thanks to Divine." Aki says proud.
"Hm? So you can speak to others huh? Let's hope your better with cards then you are with words!" Yuri proclaims activating his duel disk a drawing his hand in one motion.
"DUEL!" They both say.
Aki: 4000 LP
VS
Yuri: 4000 LP
"I'll begin I play Exchange of the Roses with this card I can discard one card from my hand that list Rose in it's text for another card that lists Rose from my deck. I then set one monster facedown and set another card as well then end my turn." Aki says calmly.
"So she's a reactionary duelest as well. This could take awhile." Yuri noted to himself. "I play Predator's challenge this spell if my opponent controls at least one facedown monster this card causes them to go into face up attack position. As well as getting a Preda counter placed on them." Yuri explained as a wall of bramble adorned with black roses appeared from Aki's facedown.

"You fliped my Black Rose Wall. When this monster is flip summoned my opponent gains three Black Rose tokens." Aki explained.

"How nice of you to give me three monsters." Yuri says in a fabricated tone of appreciation. "Even our decks are similar." He notes.
"You shouldn't be thanking me I activate my trap card. Black Rose's Poison Petals. If my opponent controls more then one monster that lists Black Rose in there text there destroyed, and whenever a Black Rose Token is destroyed you take three hundred points of damage." Aki explained the three Black Roses on Yuri's field imploding there thorns flying in Yuri's direction making real contact with his body cutting up his clothes.
Yuri: 4000 - 900 = 3100 LP
Yuri inspected his damaged uniform. "They wearnt kidding about you enhancing the solid vision. This is an improvement even on top of the more violent solid vision the Professor's duel disk gives us. That masochist Kaiser would love this." Yuri thought to himself.
Divine looked at Yuri as he took damage joy evident on his features. "Mr. Divine are you sure this is wise? Aki killed the last person she dueled." Toby stammered.
Divine shot Toby a glance which made the boy shake. "Oh Toby this is the smartest move we can make. If he survives Aki he'll truly understand hed strength and become a devote follower of the Arcadia Movement. If he dies we'll be hailed as heros for slaying one of the vile Fusion dimensions strongest soldiers. There isn't a way we can lose." Divine boast with a conceited tone.
"Back to my move since you control a monster with a Preda Counter I can tribute it to special summon this monster. Appear my Predaplant Drosophyllum Hydra." Yuri explains as the Aki's monster was destroyed and the plant hydra appeared on Yuri's field.

"Since I still have my normal summon I summon my Predaplant Moray Nepenthes." Yuri exclaimed as what looked to be a half dead plant sprawled to his field.

"Now Predaplant Moray Nepenthes attack her directly." Yuri ordered.
Aki: 4000 - 1600 = 2400 LP
"Hm? Is that all you've got Surely you are capable of more then this. Turn end." Yuri goaded with a mocking smirk.
"AKI!" Toby cries.
"Calm down Toby. This is only natural why Aki's opponents my land blows they all inevitably face the same fate." Divine says glancing at Toby with a smirk that portrayed how invisible he felt.
"My turn I draw." Aki said with an ominous calmness. " I play Black Rose Fertilizer with this card I can banish one Black Rose monster in my graveyard and then I gain it's combined attack and defense points to my life points. I banish my Black Rose Wall meaning I gain back fifteen hundred life points." Aki explained.
Aki: 2400 1500 = 3900 LP
Divine turned to Toby. "See it's as I said they can struggle but they can't win againsnt Aki's overwhelmed skill and power." He condescends.
"Good show me what you've got." Yuri grined at Aki.
"This is much more then me. This is the strength of the entirety of the Arcadia Movement!" Aki said boldly causing Yuri to role his eyes. "Now I summon my Black Rose Seed!" Aki states dramatically.

"With this cards effect once summoned I can send it straight to the graveyard to special summon my Black Rose Cluster Amaryllis!" Aki states the seed on her field falling to the graveyard and a bird like plant colored both blood red and deep black took the field it had a mighty beak. part of it's body looking to be attached to land floating in the air.

"That monster isn't even strong enough to get past my Drosophyllum Hydra." Yuri boasted. "Level eight is she setting up for a high level Synchro summon?" Yuri pondered to himself.
"Now Cluster Amaryllis! Destroy his Predaplant Moray Nepenthes." Aki ordered. Her rose bird flying at high speed at Yuri's own plant crushing it.
Yuri: 3100 - 600 = 2500 LP
"Geh!" Yuri staggered cuts opening up on his body as his monster get's destroyed.
"After I conduct battle with my Cluster Amaryllis it is destroyed." Aki explained her monster shattering sinking into the ground. "When Cluster Amaryllis is destroyed it deals eight hundred points of damage to my opponent." She continued.
Yuri: 2500 - 800 = 1700 LP
"Ungh!" Yuri grunted his body bruising the cuts deepining.
"A good card for dealing quick damage but you've left yourself wide open." Yuri retorted grinning.
"You haven't let me finish as long as I have a Black Rose monster within my graveyard Cluster Amaryllis can return to the field." Aki explained ominously.

"And when Cluster Amaryllis returns to the field it gains two hundred attack points." Aki continued equally ominous.

Yuri's eyes widen his smile doing so as well.
"I'm sure you've already now this but my battle phase isn't over yet!" Aki yells extending her arm beckoning her monster to crush Yuri's Hydra it doing so. "While you've avoided damage by your monster being in defense position your still not safe from Amaryllis's revive damage!" She proudly states. Amaryllis going to thr graveyard.
Yuri: 1700 - 800 = 900 LP
"Agh!" Yuri flinched in pain. Beginning to slightly huff and puff.
"Now Amaryllis returns to life!" Aki dramatically declares.

"And since this is it's second resurrection, it's attack increases by four hundred points." Aki explains back to her cold ominous tone.

"Now I end my turn." Aki says with sheer confidence.
"Miss Aki is amazing!" Toby hollered in amazement.
Divine smirked. "Flawless Aki. You really are the most powerful tool in my arsenal. Your the key to this all. We've built up our forces in secret in the next Friendship Cup. I'll flood the bracket with are strongest members. They'll set the floor for you to take the role of Duel Queen! Then with guiding you in that powerful position we'll dethrone the Administrative Council! Allowing for me to take take the stage as Neo Domino's new ruler!" Divine raved to himself internally with ideas of grandeur.
"Heh, Haha!" Yuri snickered. "It hurts to laugh." He said happily before laughing once more staggering in pain. "Well done! In a single turn you've proved yourself more capable then my most recent opponent." Yuri praised.
Aki stood in silence clearly befuddled. Nobody not one soul had ever reacted to one of her combo's like that.
"Good work. But unfortunately for you. It's my turn. I draw!" Yuri says dramatically his speed not inhibited at all by the cuts riddling his body. "I activate the continuous spell Predaponic with this card I can summon one level four Predaplant from my grave. Return to me Predaplant Moray Nepenthes!" Yuri proclaimed.

"Now I play Polymerization. Since this will be the first Fusion summon you'll be seeing in person I'll make sure it to make it a grand one! I fuse the Predaplant Moray Nepenthes on my field and the Spinodionaea from my hand. Decaying plant merge with the devouring beast! And create an amalgamation of true terror! Fusion Summon! Level 7 Predaplant Chimerarafflesia!" Yuri chamted as his murderous amalgamation took the field from the fusion spiral.

"Now Chimerarafflesia attack her Cluster Amaryllis!" Yuri ordered. "And when Chimerarafflesia battles another monster that monster loses one thousand attack points and Chimerarafflesia gains them." Yuri explains.
"What!" Aki blurts.

Yuri's monster rushed and devoured Aki's monster.
Aki: 3900 - 1900 = 2000 LP
"Since Amaryllis was destroyed it returns to the field stronger and you take eight hundred points of damage!" Aki yelled clearly frustrated a chip of her mask falling of revealing an inch of her cheek.

"Gah!" Yuri grunted making a strained expression before his smile returning wider. "Since my battle phase is over Chimerarafflesia returns to it's normal attack points." Yuri says with a wide smile.

"Now I end my turn your up!" Yuri said his smile still a frighteningly strong despite the injuries spread on his body.
"Despite all the damage I've dealt to him he hasn't faltered." Aki shook. "What's wrong with him. It's like he's finding enjoyment from being caused and the potential of causing more pain." Aki thought to herself her body lightly trembling.
"Aki! How could you do that to your classmate he was sent to the hospital!" Her mother yelled at a five year old Aki.
"Your a freak! Do you even know how it feels to be the parent of the girl who hospitalizes anyone who duels her!" Her father screamed in rage at a ten year old Aki.
"FREAK!"
"MONSTER!!"

Several men women and children scream and jeer at Aki throughout her life.
"I'm s-orry... But! We can't keep you here! You've torn the house apart! The families of those you've hurt keep coming after US! And they have every right to! Just please leave! Never come back so we can live normal lives!" Aki's mother yelled lacking any composure "I never should've given birth to you." Aki's mother cried weakly at a fifteen year old Aki who stood in what used to be her room. It was destroyed and barely recognizable to serve that purpose.
It was raining. Aki's clothes were tattered. She a vacant look in her face. A trashcan fell over startling Aki. She lunged with her left arm letting out a gasp. As the trashcan was destroyed but not just that cracks opened up on the nearest building. It nearly falling off it's foundation.
Aki placed her left hand on her mouth in a familiar horror. Before recoiling moving her hand away afraid of what she may do.
A man aproached her placing a umbrella covering both of them from the rain.
"Please leave! Sorry I mean... You don't want to be near me I'm a danger." Aki weakly said her voice barely audible over the rain.
"Why you are dangerous that is nothing for you to be ashamed of." A younger Divine says.
"Huh." Aki softly uttered.
"You we're born this way. This wasn't your decision. It's the fault of those who have pushed you that you have been given the title Witch." Divine theatrically declared.
Aki looked to Divine tears streaming down her eyes. No one had ever spoken to her like this. Not a soul had ever told her...that it wasn't her fault.
"My dear, Your only mistake was not fleeing those who wrongly despise you." Divine says softly moving closer to Aki.
The buiding Aki had fragmented the foundation of shook, and then collapsed. Brick and concrete weighing nearly a ton almost crushed the two. Before Divine rose his left arm creating a psychic barrer around the two of them thr rubble harmlessly being pushed behind them.
"What's your name." Divine asked softly grabing Aki by the chin lifting her gaze to look Divine in the eye.
"Aki." She said softly her eyes looking up in amazement.
"My dear Aki. You are not alone in this world. Why your incredible powers have the potential to be dangerous. That is why we must value control my dear. The greatest love you can show yourself and others. You must learn control." Divine said pulling Aki into a warm embrace as the girl sobs.
"You, you!" Aki seethed clenching her fist her nails nearly digging into her skin. This boy he's so overly zealous. His complete lack of self control. And it's frightening me..." Aki thought over in her head breathing heavily staring Yuri down.
"Powers like ours! Exist to be controlled! How flippantly you act is a disgrace! Control yourself you freak!" Aki screams at Yuri another crack in her mask chipping off.
"OH! And who told you that!? Lecturing me about control when your not even the one in control of yourself!" Yuri screams back his smile growing wider.
"Mister Divine do you think Miss Aki will be ok she's getting really riled up.
"Things will be alright Toby. Aki shall claim victory this turn. While she'll take a great deal of damage battling Yuri's chimera she'll still have life points remaining then Amaryllis's revive damage will defeat Yuri." Divine explains with a grin.
"Now! Amaryllis attack his Chimerarafflesia!" Aki cried beckoning her beast. "This is my victory." She thought to herself.

"That's what I thought." Yuri hummed smugly.
"I end my turn." Aki sighed filled with contempt.
"Meaning our monsters attack points return to what they were." Yuri states.

"Calm yourself! He merely survived a single turn with a strategy that can't be repeated!" Divine shouted his confident grin replaced with a enraged grimace.
"My turn I draw! Now that it is my Standby phase I get the choice to destroy Predaponics or pay eight hundred life points. Since I'm currently low I'll have to say goodbye to my spell." Yuri grins. "Now that's good." Yuri said aloud blatantly looking to the card he drew.
"What a basic intimidation attempt!" Aki growled.
"I play Fusion Recovery with this card I get back to my hand a Polymerization and a monster I used in a fusion summon back to my hand." Yuri explains retrieving Predaplant Moray Nepenthes to his hand.
"Now I play Polymerization fusing the Predaplant Chimerarafflesia on my field with the Predaplant Moray Nepenthes!" Yuri announces.
"What he's throwing away his Chimerarafflesia defense!" Aki thought shocked.
"Murderous amalgamation meld! With the decaying predator and form a new terror! Fusion Summon! Level 8 Predaplant Dragostapelia!" Yuri chants with lots of enthusiasm.

"Now I set one card facedown and end my turn." Yuri says grinning. "Now let's see what you can do know." Yuri says smugly shifting his head to look down at Aki despite the hight difference.
"My move!" Aki shook with rage. Aki look to her hand amd through the two chips of her mask a sly smile could be seen. "I summon my Witch of the Black Rose!" Aki says as a petite witch with purple hair dressed in black and white.

Appear! Black Rose Arcane Dragon!" Aki chants as a dragon with a black body that had crimson red scales which protruded from it's body. These rose scales eminate with a black energy rune like symbols inscribed on there scales.

As the plant like dragon takes the field a psychic storm is kicked up by the beast flaping it's wings. A tornado spiraling around Aki obscuring the women from Yuri's vision. Within the storm another piece of Aki's mask chipped off revealing her right eye.
The dragon let out another big flap of it's wings dispelling the storm with raw strength. Causing large cracks to appear on the ground. They travelled and splintered up the walls even shattering the glass that kept Divine, Toby and the Arcadia members safe from the duel.
Toby recoiled from the shattered glass and the other Arcadia members shreiked and ran from the duel. But Divine still held a wide smile growing manic from satisfaction.
A dark aura came off Aki. "When Black Rose Arcane Dragon is summoned all monsters on your field are destroyed and you take five hundred points of damage for each one." Aki explains.
"Heh have you forgotten once per turn my Dragostapelia can place a Preda counter on one of your monsters and it loses it's effect." Yuri retorts.

"Not so fast!" Aki shouts the wind shaking as she moves her body. "I activate my quick play spell The Black Witch's Blessing!" I can equip this card to any Black Rose monster and that monster can no longer be affected by monster effects!" Aki passionately explained as her Dragon cried the connected Preda counter staying attached but losing effect.
The dragon let out another cry thorns flying from it's body destroying Yuri's Dragostapelia.
"Now Arcane Dragon end him! Black Rose mystical flare!" Aki cried another part of her mask chipping.
"I activate my trap card Predaplant Detritus Fusion! This card allows me to fusion summon using monsters in my grave though the monster summoned loses it's effects." Yuri explained.
Aki grit her know slightly visable through her chipped mask. She shook with frustration the ground did as well through her psychic powers.
"I banish my Predaplant Moray Nepenthes and my Predaplant Dragostapelia. Demonic dragon and decayed plant combine into a beast that spews a venomous fragrance! Fusion Summon! Level 5 Predaplant Ambulomelidas!" Yuri chanted a green dinosaur with a mighty spore on it's back.

"With Black Rose Arcane Dragon's other effect I can once per turn all of my opponents monsters that are in defense position are switched to attack position and their attack points are reduced to zero!" Aki explained passionately.

"I activate my trap card Dark Seed Planter! With this trap card all monsters on my opponents field are turned into a dark monster and dark monsters on my opponents field are no longer able to attack the dark monsters on my side of the field." Yuri explained his trap flipping up.
Aki grit her teeth as her dragon's attack was countered. "Geh I end my turn." Aki spat with venom.
"My turn draw." Yuri said smiling at Aki then looking to the card he drew. "Fine, fine I hear you. I'll summon you immediately." Yuri said seemingly to himself.
Aki gained a pensive look. Divine stood annoyed. Toby barely managed to keep standing as he ogled the duel. Yuri's extra deck pulsed a neon pink light.
Yuri smirked devilishly throwing down his card. "I play Fusion Substitute! With this card I can perform a fusion summon using monsters only on my field. Two beautiful flowers with an insect-alluring fragrance! Now become one, and from the hell beneath your petals, give birth to a new terror! Fusion Summon! Appear level 8 Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri chanted as his ace monster emerged from the fusion spiral.

"Normally when this monster is fusion summoned it would gain that attack points of your monster but that troublesome spell is in the way." Yuri griped still jovial. "Now Starving Venom destroy her dragon, and show it why your the apex predator!" Yuri ordered his dragon roaring then soaring at Aki's monster devouring it in a disgusting sight that made Toby flinch.

"Now I end my turn. How will you manage without your dragon!?" Yuri asked his smile wide and creepy from anticipation.
Aki's body twitched as he hand over her deck some of the debris around her shaking from her psychic powers.
"Nobody has ever defeated Black Rose Aracne Dragon!" Divine choked out in a mix of awe and burning rage.
"Is Aki gonna lose?" Toby asked himself shaking from fear and amazement.
Aki drew from her deck with little fan fair she then looked to the card she drew.
"My dragon won't fall so easily!!!" Aki roared. "I activate Black Rose Witch Resurrection! With this card I can revive one Black Rose monster from my graveyard. Welcome back to the field Black Rose Arcane Dragon!" Aki explained a crack on her mask appearing as her dragon rose from the graveyard.

"Since my Black Rose Arcane Dragon has been special summoned once more all your monsters have been destroyed!" Aki declared swinging her arm in the direction of Yuri's dragon as Black Rose Arcane Dragon flung thorns from it's tail.
"Heh sorry this is going to be frustrating for you after you worked so hard to get your dragon back. But when Starving Venom is destroyed all of your monsters are destroyed as well!" Yuri revealed with a wicked grin as his destroyed dragon's body turned to vines shackling Aki's dragon draging it with it.
Aki's singular exposed eye shook with terror as well as fury.
"Black Rose Arcane Dragon, defeated twice,." Divine gasped.
"Miss Aki is in trouble." Toby realized earning a glare from Divine. "If Yuri summons his dragon again Miss Aki's is helpless. The effect of Miss Aki's will always destroy Yuri's dragon but that triggers it's effect causing mutual destruction putting them back at square one, and with Yuri's dragon having higher attack points Aki's effect is it's only way of beating it. So if Aki summons her's first it risks just being overpowered but if it comes second there is a high chance of mutual destruction." Toby analyzed. "But they've both already realized that havn't they." He mutters looking at Yuri's smiling face and Aki's defeated posture.
"This duel was actually quite fun. You should feel pride in that fact. But this is unfortunately for you over. Now can you go ahead and end your turn?" Yuri demands in the tone of a request still having a proud grin.
"Turn end." Aki uttered defeated.
"My move." Yuri hummed happily as he drew a card from his deck. "I play Predapruning! This card allows me to summon back one Predaplant from my graveyard." Yuri explained.
"Already!" Toby gasped.

"Go ahead and summon your dragon again. What good it will do you." Yuri taunted.
"No! This card allows me to summon any Black Rose monster and I want my Black Rose Cluster Amaryllis!" Aki passionately declared her psychic powers kicking up a dust cloud Amaryllis emerging from it.

"She's won." Toby said with dazzled realization.
"Thank you Aki. This victory has made all my dreams possible my dear deadly flower." Divine thinks to himself.
"Now that Amaryllis has been sent to the graveyard you take eight hundred points damage and lose!" Aki shouts.
"Heh not so fast! I activate the effect of my trap card Predaplant Aid when a Predaplant monster on my side of the field is targeted for an attack and then I get to bring a Predaplant from my deck to my hand." Yuri explained.
"That still doesn't save you!" Aki retorts.
"Oh yes it does cause I brought Predaplant Lilium Leach to my hand and whenever I would take effect damage I can discard this monster and reduce the damage to zero!" Yuri proclaims grining.
"Grr! Cluster Amaryllis still returns to the field and gains attack points!" Aki states frustrated another crack spreading on her mask.

I return to my deck Predaplant Lilium Leach and to my extra deck Chimerafflesia and Dragostapelia. Then I banish my Predaplant Moray Nepenthes, Drosophyllum Hydra and my Ambulomelidas. I then get to draw a card for each card I added to my deck and extra deck." Yuri explained smiling then drawing his three cards.
"He's building up ways to deal with Amaryllis and Black Rose Arcane Dragon." Aki thought to herself pensive.
"Back to my plan. I play Polymerization fusing my Starving Venom Fusion Dragon on my field with the Predaplant Squid Drosera in my hand! Poisonous dragon with hungry fangs! Sweet smelling flower that invites the abyss! Now become one, and indulge in whatever pleases you! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri chanted as the evolved version of his ace card emerged from the fusion spiral.

Revive and save your fellow Rose! Black Rose Arcane Dragon!" Aki declares dramaticly her ace dragon emerging on the field in the way of Yuri's evolved ace the two dragon's scream and more cracks emerge on the floor and walls.

Divine let out a sigh of relief tension leaving his body as he moves his hand through his hair. "Good work my Dear! Now smite this fool!" Divine calls out to Aki.
"I'll do it Divine!" Aki calls back.
Yuri rolled his eyes. "I almost forgot this witch was on that megalomaniac's beck and call. Reminds me of how so many of Academia's students would act about the Professor." Yuri thought to himself.
"Well I set one card and end my turn and your Cluster Amaryllis goes back to normal." Yuri says.

"My turn!!" Aki says powerfully her psychic powers kicking up dust fragmenting the floor beneath her as she draws.
"She's getting excited. But I'm still more then safe. She'll only take herself out if she attacks with Amaryllis. So let's see how she adapts." Yuri noted to himself internally with anticipation.
"Now I play Black Rose Witch's Enchantment! I can equip this card to one Black Rose monster and I no longer take battle damage for battles involving that monster but neither does my opponent. I equip my spell to my Black Rose Cluster Amaryllis!" Aki explained.
"What good that does me. When my monster is already stronger. Bur what does benefit me is that Greedy Venom can still take away your monsters effect." Yuri quips.
"Not with the second effect of my equip spell! While it has Black Rose Witch's Enchantment Cluster Amaryllis can't be effected by monster effects!" Aki proudly states.
"With that spell Aki can survive Cluster Amaryllis attacking Yuri's dragon and then can defeat Yuri with it's revive damage!" Toby realized as Divine gained a wicked grin.
"Now! Cluster Amaryllis attack his Greedy Venom Fusion dragon and win me this duel!" Aki ordered her monster charging Yuri's evolved dragon it being destroyed on it.
"And with that! Cluster Amaryllis is revived and you lose this duel!" Aki screamed her voice desperate for the satisfaction of victory.

"I discard my Predaplant Lilium Leach depleting the effect damage to zero!" Yuri smugly retorts.
"What! Again! That's not possible!" Aki yelled rocks being lifted as her voice was raised.
"Oh come on." Yuri groaned with played up confusion at Aki's stupidity. "At this point my deck has less then thirty cards and with my spell card I drew three there was a higher then ten percent that I would draw it again after I added back to my deck." Yuri insulted as he explained giving Aki a condescending look.
Aki grit her now entirely visable teeth due to her mask being left with less then half. "Since this is the second resurrection of my Amaryllis it's attack points increase by four hundred!" Aki spat through frustration.

"If Greedy Venom is destroyed it takes all of my opponents monsters with it! But with her Amaryllis all that will manage is to take me out!" Yuri thought urgently. "I activate my trap card Perpetual Predator whenever one of my monsters would be destroyed I can use this card to negate it's destruction!" Yuri counters.
Aki grimaced going into a snarl. "Don't get confident you barely survived your own turn." She said cooly.
"Fair enough but you still haven't managed to damage me since the beginning of this duel." Yuri retorts. "She's combating even my Greedy Venom well. She's almost as good as Hell Kaiser. I might need to pull out that." Yuri thought looking to his extra deck. His duel disk showing him the ultimate fusion dragon he used against both Yuto and Shun. "Turn end."

"My turn." Aki said drawing from her deck looking to what she drew her posture shifted. "This is over." Aki said a dark aura eminenating from her. The air around them felt thick. An eerie silence filled the room. It almost felt as if you where entrapped in vines covered with sharp thorns.
"I summon Black Rose Baby Dragon!" Aki shouts a small dragon that had an uncanny resemblance to her ace just more simplistic took to her field.

Aki chanted as what looked to be a larger version of her ace dragon with blood red scales that seemed to almost drip with power. It's body black like obsidian it's eyes glistening like ruby's that felt as if they pieced through your body. Seeing prey.

It let out a terrifying roar shaking the entire facility. Blood driped from Toby's ears as he began to foam from the mouth as even the fletchling psychic could no lobger witness the duel.
Divine's entire body became tense his breath haggard. "I, I've never seen this monster before. Aki? Is this duel making you evolve?" Divine questioned himself quietly in a tone of revelation. "Aki, CRUSH HIM!!!" Divine shrieked his face contorted in both fear and delight.
Aki seemed almost in a trance by her monsters raw power until she heard Divine's voice. "I WILL!" Aki yelled back another crack appearing on her mask only a small amount remaining.
Yuri's eyes locked onto the new dragon. It's mere presence made new cut's appear on his already tattered outfit. Greedy Venom let out a low growl in the dragons direction. "Well look Greedy Venom you have a friend." Yuri hummed his own smile wide ready to face the new beast.
"First whenever Black Rose Baby Dragon is used in a synchro summon I can banish it to revive my Black Rose Arcane Dragon without it's effects!" Aki dramatically declared.

"As well when my Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon is special summoned all monsters on my opponents field have there effects negated! Then they are destroyed!" Aki screamed her dragon flapping it's wings destoying Yuri's evolved ace.
"Without it's effects Greedy Venom can't weaken her monster or take out her field when it's destroyed!" Yuri grunted.
"Whenever Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon destroys one or more monsters with it's effect it gains half of that monsters attack points!" Aki explained.

Yuri's eyes widened similar to his smile as he stared down the three monsters on Aki's side of the field. "Now this is trouble." Yuri smirked.
"NOW! Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon! Attack him directly and end this duel!!" Aki's evolved dragon let out a blast of blood red energy creating a dust cloud around Yuri from the impact.
"YOU SEE! This is the fate you've given yourself! This what you deserve! This is the divine punishment for how flippantly you've lived your life! YOU FOOL!!!" Aki hysterically yelled as the dust cloud parted revealing something standing infront of Yuri.

A plant like man stood in front of Yuri. It's body was wrapped invines it help a large gardners trowel large enough to be used as a shield.
"WHAT!" Aki blurted her now almost entirely visible face shifting in rage.
"Heh HAHA! I banished from my graveyard Predaplant Aid! That allowed me to use it's effect once more so I brought my Predaplant Gardner Gardna to my hand!" Yuri explained laughing.
"That doesn't explain how you summoned it! Or how that weak monster stopped my Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon!" Aki snapped at Yuri. Dust and rubble being picked up and sent flying by her berserk psychic powers.
"Try and learn some patience." Yuri barbed. "When I an going to take a direct attack I can summon my Predaplant Gardner Gardna to negate that attack." Yuri explained in the tone of mockery all the while giving Aki a condescending look.
"YOUR STILL NOT SAFE!" Aki shrieked. "Black Rose Cluster Amaryllis! Destroy his garder!" Aki yelled her avian rose diving at Yuri's defensive predaplant destroying it.
"THIS IS IT!" Aki declared with certainty. "Black Rose Arcane Dragon finish him!!" She shouted the kill demand once again her dragon letting out a powerful blast of energy amplified by Aki's psychic powers collapsing the wall behind Yuri.

"HUH!!!" Aki blurted. "That attack should've took you out!!!" She screamed accusatory.
"I banished Predaplant Gardner Gardna from my grave. I can banish this card when I'm going to take battle damage and that battle damage is reduced by it's defense points." Yuri explained. "Sorry it's going to take more then that for you to be able to beat me." Yuri speaks having a condescending smirk.
"I-I end my turn." Aki said sounding both defeated and furious.
"My turn!" Yuri smiled. "Now I play Predator Sacrifice with this card I can banish one Predaplant in my grave to revive a monster that's the same level or lower I banish my Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon to revive my Starving Venom Fusion Dragon! Welcome back my trusty hunting partner." Yuri explained with delight.

"Don't count on that monster effect saving you once per turn with my Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon I can negate the effect of one of your monsters as well as gain half it's attack points!" Aki counters.

"Damn. She has five hundred life points remaining so even if I attack her weakest monster she'll just survive and finish me on her next. I don't have much left." Yuri thought to himself then looking to his hand. His eyes widened ever so slightly. "Where did that come from." He asked himself.
Yuri's mind flashed back to his duel against Yuto and Shun. Particularly when Yuto had Pendulum summoned. "In that moment Yuto somehow pulled upon some of Yuya's power his time inside Yuya's body must of had some perks. So it seems that I to have gained somthing for allowing Yugo in my own body." Yuri thought with a smirk looking to his extra deck.
"I summon Predaplant Lexia Locust!" Yuri says aloud a insectiode plant that seemed alomst futuristic flew onto Yuri's field.

"What's that monster supposed to do?" Aki inquires irate.
"Let's find out! I tune my Predaplant Lexia Locust to my Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri shouts with delight.
Aki's eyes widened. "What it's a tuner!" She yells.
"He's from the fusion dimension there's no way he knows how to synchro summon." Divine blurts shocked.
"Dragon with an insatiable hunger! Grow stronger with a feeling of inferiority! Now strike back with fangs of resentment! Synchro Summon! Level 10 Starving Venom Envious Dragon!" Yuri chanted as a more slender version of Starving Venom flew onto his field it a white underbelly made of scales and along it's longer body it had five pink wings on each side. It moved rhythmly with it's snake like body.

"Why you don't have the skill to warrant my full power you should feel honored. You will be the first one to taste defeat by this monsters hands." Yuri smirks.
"You can't be serious that monster doesn't have the power to take me out!" Aki shook.
"Oh but it says here that when ever Starving Venom Envious Dragon is special summoned all of my opponents monsters gain Preda counters." Yuri says reading directly off the card in a tone of curiosity.

"So what if you made there levels lower that doesn't change anything!" Aki spat.
"It seems that's only one of it's effects it appears that my new dragon gains one thousand attack points for every monster that has a Preda counter and by my arithmetic you have one, two, three. That makes it three thousand attack points." Yuri said jovial slowly counting.
Envious Dragon atk 3300-6300
"Now it's even stronger then my Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon!" Aki realized.
"Exactly! Starving Venom Envious Dragon destroy her Black Rose Blood Magic Dragon!" Yuri ordered his new besst it glowing a pink light across it's body charging and clashing with Aki's dragon the two monsters eyes meet in a breif moment before Yuri's crushes Aki's.
Aki: 500 - 50 = 450LP
"I haven't lost yet on my next I'll-" Aki begins before getting cut off.
"Oh I'm so sorry this must be getting frustrating for you but my monster has another effect. When my Starving Venom Envious Dragon is summoned using the original Starving Venom in the Synchro summon Envious Dragon can attack all of my opponents monsters that have Preda counters." Yuri explained looking at Aki smugly.
"... NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING NOT TO SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER THEMSELVES!!!" Aki screamed her lungs out a look of manic rage on her face.
Yuri's smile droped. He looked at Aki almost disappointed. "My entire life I have lived as I've pleased. Why you have misinterpreted as me lacking control is in fact my greatest showing control. There is not a soul in the four dimensions that has dominion over me. And yet here I am alive. Because I'm strong. I think the woman who threw away her autonomy shouldn't be the one lecturing about 'control'. Out of my sight you pathetic wench." Yuri said with a terrifying nonchalance. His Synchro dragon leting out a blast of pink energy annihilating Aki's Black Rose Arcane Dragon.

Aki had been sent flying by her ace monsters destruction. As she struggled to stand what remained of her mask fell off.
She started to hyperventilate repeatedly attempting to stand but again and again would fall onto the cracked ground. Until she began to sob.
Divine rushed from the viewing box. "Aki!" He blurted with the concern of someone seeing one their vauble possessions damaged.
Divine made it to where Yuri stood and Aki struggled to. Divine was running to Aki before his stride halted when he noticed Yuri was glancing at him. Causing Divine to break out into a sweat.
"May I leave now?" Yuri asked smugly his smirk regained.
"Just...get out, please." Divine choked out a look of poory concealed fury on his face.
Yuri gave Divine a grin and made his exist.
As he walked Yuri had a contemplative look on his face. As the words he had said to Aki flooded his mind. 'My entire life I've lived as I've pleased' 'Nobody in the four dimensions has dominion over me'
Yuri then rememberd when he had been dueling to absorb his counterparts to resurrect...Zarc.
"Shut up." Yuri said to himself catching his first glimpses of sublight as he exits the Arcadia Movements facility.

We've had our second chapter in the Synchro dimension and our second legacy character to duel Yuri. Well actually we had three new Legacy with Divine or Sayer in the dub and Toby appearing not dead in this reality I wonder if any of you remembered Toby from 5ds
I wonder how many of you were able to predict that the Arcadia Movement were the ones to come to Yuri's rescue. If you were wrong I'd like to hear who you thought it was.
I'm sure you all noticed but Aki's deck was nearly entirely original cards. I felt this was the most likely case as why a lot of the Legacy characters just used the recent support for there decks both Jack and Kaito were given new archetypes for there cards so I went with that with Aki's new Black Rose archetype and support cards. I hope they weren't too overpowered.
Yuri gets to reap some of the benefits of being this stories protagonist getting the protagonist every Yugioh protag gets of getting specific card for the situation
In seriousness we get to see more of this Yuri and his development and duel someone thta can put up more of a fight then Shinji. Even getting a Synchro dragon on par with his greedy venom will Yuri continue to get new cards who knows
Next is a chapter that I have been really excited to get to as this stories deuteragonist will finally do something.
