[YGO! RE:PLAY] Chapter 3
Vigil: The third chapter of RE:PLAY and seeing how Chapter 2 was Tomo's chapter, This chapter's Akihiro's time to shine.
Yu-Gi-Oh! RE:PLAY
EVO-003: "With great power and responsibility, Comes the fists of the heavens that continues to fight!"
A loud whistle rang out through the gym, Akihiro gave a small breath while facing a large dark grey punching bag that was hanging from the sky. The sun gleamed through the large window, causing a large trinkle formed within his eye. Suddenly, he rushed forwards, his fist posed to strike before he slung his fist up into a upper cut, slamming into the punching bag which sent it flying into the ceiling, crashing into it before landing on the ground again. Akihiro's fist had smoke rising from it as Yuchi watched, wearing a light cyan sports shirt, dark blue sport jeans with white rims and dark blue sneakers with white laces while holding a coffee within his hand, a slight blush lined along his cheeks. Akihiro looked at Yuchi and smiled, walking over and taking the coffee. "Thanks, bud." he said as Yuchi froze before nodding rapidly. "Oh, Yeah, Your welcome!" he yelled as Akihiro took a sip from it, the sweat from his forehead running down to his chin before falling on the ground. Soon, the two walked over to a treadmill as Akihiro pressed a dark red button turning it on. "So, Are you sure you wanna try this, Yuchi-San?" he asked as Yuchi nodded. "Yeah, I can do this thing." he said as he stepped onto the treadmill, starting to run on it.
Suddenly, Akihiro heard some cough slightly as he looked over his shoulder, seeing a muscular man with short spiky black hair and light blue eyes. He was wearing a black sports shirt, black joggers and dark grey sneakers. "Yo, Hito, What's up?" Akihiro asked as Hito glanced at him. "Akihiro, You have to stop breaking the equipment." Hito said as Akihiro raised an eyebrow. "What you mean?" he asked before Hito pointed towards the broken punching bag on the ground. Akihiro gave a small awkward shrug while Hito gave a small sigh before placing a hand on his face in aspiration. "Look, We both know that you don't like holding back, but we really don't have much of the money to replace all of these punching bags." Hito said before he walked away, Akihiro giving a small sigh while the treadmill picked up in speed, Yuchi giving multiple breaths in a panicked state. Akihiro noticed before pressing on the red button again, stopping the treadmill and allowing Yuchi to get off of the treadmill, the boy still breathing heavily. "You okay?" Akihiro said as Yuchi gave him a thumbs up. "Hey, Guys, what's up?" Tomo asked, walking up to them. She was also wearing a dark purple sports shirt, black fingerless gloves with the rings around them being white, black shorts and dark purple sneakers with dark grey laces. Akihiro waved before noticing that she was drinking a brightly coloured drink. "Sis, I thought I said that you try and drink something healthy." he said as Tomo blinked. "It is healthy." she responded, taking a sip of the drink as Akihiro just gave a small sigh. "So, You two wanna try something else?" he asked as Yuchi and Tomo looked at him clearly confused. A few moments later, Yuchi and Tomo were gazing up at a rock climbing wall that seemed to reach up to the sky, Akihiro leaning against the wall with a cheeky grin on his face.
"So, Who's first?" he asked as Yuchi and Tomo looked at each other before Yuchi stepped forward, looking up at the wall before gulping. Soon, Yuchi was climbing up the wall, finding himself near the apex of the wall. "Wow, He's gonna make it." Tomo cheered from below while she and Akihiro watched from below, Akihiro had a soft smirk on his face as Yuchi continued to climb. Suddenly, Yuchi looked to his left before getting a glance at his reflection in one of the lights attached to the ceiling. He gave a soft breath, staring at the reflection in the mirror, seemingly lost with his reflection before he heard a loud yell from below him, snapping him out of his studder. "Hey, Yuchi-San, You okay?" Tomo yelled up as Yuchi looked back down at him. "O-Oh, Yeah!" he yelled back, Tomo and Akihiro looked at each other with worried looks on his face. As Yuchi climbed back down, Akihiro looked over at Tomo who looked at him with a sweatdrop on her face. "W-What?" she asked, defensively. "I mean, It's your turn to climb it." Akihiro said as Yuchi made it to the bottom of the wall and on to the ground. Tomo panicked, her eyes darting around as her mind tried to make somekind of excuse for not wanting to climb the rock climbing wall. Akihiro gave a sigh as Tomo keep on sweating. "You don't have to climb it if you don't want to." Akihiro said as Tomo shook her head. "O-Oh, I-I can do this!" she retorted before turning the rock wall and starting to climb it. She looked down before shutting her eyes shut. "Okay, I'm almost at the top, this proves that I can do it." she yelled as Akihiro looked up at her from the ground. "Tomo..." he started, a deadpan expression formed across his face as he said it. "You barely left the ground." he finished, Tomo being just centimetres above the ground. "S-Shut up." she stammered, blushing in embarrassment.
"I would have climb that wall easily." Tomo muttered as the three walked back home. "You weren't even half way up the wall." Yuchi mentioned, gaining a glare from his best friend. "Like you have a place to talk, you froze when you were near the top." she retorted, gaining a slightly annoyed glance from Yuchi. "At least, I was near the top." he muttered in annoyance as Tomo opened her mouth to retort before Akihiro sighed. "Both of you, cut it out." he said, as the other two stopped auguring and hmphed as Akihiro rolled his eyes. "Look, I can get you two some ice-cream on the way back." she said as the other two looked up at him, immediately sold by the prospect of ice-cream. "Okay then." they said as they continued down the street. Meanwhile a young man was standing outside of the gym at night, pushing the door open and walking inside. The person, at the front desk, looked up and gulped at the man. "W-What can I do for you?" he asked as the man looked down at him. "I would like to use the punching bag." the man said as the man at the desk chuckled awkwardly. "Well, about that, Our current punching bag was kinda damaged, so, you might wanna wait until we get it fixed." he said as the glare of the man narrowed. "Well, then, You better get to fixing it before I decide to test my strength on something else." the man growled, cracking his knuckles as the man at the desk sweatdropped before running off, the other man glare never once leaving him.

Yu-Gi-Oh! RE:PLAY Opening 1: DNA-X-EXP (Melody: Seishun Complex from Boochi The Rock)
*8 Minute Intro* (A few screenshots showed Yuchi picking up his deck, placing it on his wrist and activated it, a large grin forming on his face. The background then shattered to reveal a green cybernetic background with the title card, Yu-Gi-Oh! RE:PLAY, appeared on the screen.)
"Another day has come around, and my monsters are ready to come out to play!" (Yuchi was leaning on a wall, looking at his phone before noticing Tomo running to him before grabbing him by the arm and dragging him with much to the boy's confusion.)
"Got to wish upon a star and hope I draw the right card!" (Akihiro was then seen, training with a punching bag before Tomo walking into the room, before waving at him, the boy stopping his training to wave back before delivering a wild haymaker to the punching bag.)
"Just go with the flow, and hope you don't fall behind in this game!" (Yuchi is then seen clutching his arm before the ground below him shifted and he fell through it, falling down before landing into a dark area.)
*Five Second Interlude* (As he looked upwards, he saw a large black chess piece fall right in front of him, causing his to recoil. The Camera then panned upwards to see 9 different humanoid silhouettes with glowing eyes, with a tenth much large silhouette looking down on Yuchi with a twisted grin on his face and glowing red eyes.)
"The path that you chose may be long and harsh, many foes you'll encounter on the way." (The area shifted once again, placing Yuchi in a beach-like area, leaving Yuchi as he wandered through the area.)
"And even if I fall behind, I won't give up, even when the odds are stacked against me!" (A slideshow of pictures showed Yuchi having fun exploring the area he found himself before the scene changed to Yuchi eating an ice-cream before a large shadowed shape emerged from the sky, threating to crush Yuchi underneath it's weight.)
*[TURN IT UP! RE:PLAY!]*
"Running through the storm, Through the Fire and The Flames, The Game might be in hard mode but We got this in the bag!" (Yuchi dodged out of the way to reveal that this figure was the silhouette of somekind crab-shaped humanoid with the only noticeable features being a pair of glowing pink eyes. Yuchi gave a small breath as he activated his Duel-Disk and selected a card which glowed as he raised it into the sky.)
"Moving through the snow, As the Day turns to Nightfall, We won't stop until we win this game!" (Yuchi then raised a hand as what seemed to be EXP formed around him before looking up the sky to see a humanoid silhouette with glowing cyan eyes standing on the roof top of a building before vanishing along with the area around him before Yuchi gave a small nod before he struck a pose with Tomo and Akihiro.)
*8 Minute Outro* (The background goes dark green again with the Title Card appearing in the middle of it.)
The soft breeze blew through the air as Yuchi and Tomo was walking down the street. Yuchi gave a small breath. "Man, That test was hard." he muttered as Tomo gave a small breath of exhaustion. "Yeah, I still don't know why the teacher pulled that test out of nowhere." she muttered in aspiration. "Yeah, well, at least, it's over." Yuchi murmured, putting his arms behind his back. Tomo smiled as they approached the gym that her brother trained at. "Well, my bro is at the gym, so, we can hangout there." she said as they walked towards the door. As the door opened, Yuchi and Tomo were about to walk in before they saw someone in the front of their door and their hearts almost stopped. Standing there was a tall muscular man, about Akihiro's age, with long shaggy dark red hair with jet black highlights and bangs and cold grey eyes that bore into their souls. He was wearing a dark red hoodie with the collar designed within a way that allowed a part of his black shirt to visible underneath, grey jeans and dark grey sneakers with light grey laces.
Yuchi and Tomo froze as the man glared at them with an unamused look on his face. "And you two are?" the man asked as the two kids looked in fear at the man. "Umm, Uh..." Yuchi stammered as Tomo's mouth hung wide open in shock. "Ah, Ah? What?" the man mocked, an eyebrow cocked in an almost mocking gesture of flux confusion. "W-Well..." Yuchi started before the man interrupted him. "Get lost, kid." he growled before the door immediately shut in their faces. "Who the hell was that guy?" Yuchi asked as Tomo snapped out of her studder. "Hey, Don't look at me. I don't know either!" she retorted. Yuchi was gonna argue but decided against it, taking a deep breath. "Okay, Wanna hang out at your place." he asked as Tomo gave a soft breath before nodding. Meanwhile, Akihiro was training by himself before he noticed the man walk away from the door. "Who was at the door?" he asked as the man glared at him. "Just a pair of kids, nothing more." he growled as Akihiro pondered on what happened. As the sun set, Akihiro was walking home, the cool evening breeze blew through the air as he walked down the street. Soon, He found himself outside his house, giving a soft sigh before opening the door and walking inside, closing the door behind him.
"Hey." he called out to anyone in the house as he walked down the hallway leading from the front door. "Yo." both Yuchi and Tomo said from the living room, causing the older boy to look at them with a confused look on his face. "Huh? Yuchi? What are you doing here?" he asked as Yuchi waved while Tomo was feeding Yoshi. "We were gonna go to the gym to hangout there but some jackass stopped us at the door." he responded as Akihiro pondered on something. "Who was this "Jackass"?" he asked, needing a few more hints to who the person that kicked them out. "He had dark red hair, black highlights and um..." Yuchi stammered at the last word to describe the person that stopped them. "Huge." Tomo finished, still feeding Yoshi. "He was huge." she explained farther, giving Akihiro all the info that he needed. "Oh, That was Takumi." he said as the two teens looked at him. "You know him?" they both exclaimed. "Yeah, He's the new guy that everyone is afraid of." Akihiro explained, the other two looking at each other with a confused look on their faces. "So, You think you can take him down?" Yuchi absentmindingly asked, surprising Akihiro briefly. Akihiro went silent for a moment before smirking. "Yeah, I think so." he replied.
The next day, Akihiro walked into the gym and noticed a bunch of broken gym equipment laying along the ground. He looked around, slightly confused as Hito walked over to him, an agitated expression painted on his face. "He-?" Akihiro started before Hito cut him off. "Damn it, Akihiro, What did I tell you?" he yelled as Akihiro gulped. "I didn't do this." he retorted as Hito scoffed. "Oh, please, Who else here could cause all of this?" he asked. Akihiro growled, ready to retort before someone else beat him to the punch. "Hey, Hey, Hey!" a girl yelled, coming to Akihiro's defense. Hito looked down at her and raised an eyebrow. "Koharu?" he asked as the girl, now known as Koharu, pouted slightly. "Look, Akihiro just got here and the place was already wreaked when he got here." she explained as Akihiro examined her. She was about his age, with long platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes. She was wearing a light purple and dark purple sports shirt, dark blue sports jeans and dark purple sneakers with white accents. Hito thought about it for a moment before speaking again. "Fine, if Akihiro didn't do it, then who did?" he asked again, still not knowing who is the culprit behind this mess was. Koharu gave a small breath before pointing at Takumi who was standing by himself.
Hito chuckled nervously. "O-Oh, come on, Koharu, We don't wanna make any hasty accusations here." he started before Koharu's left eye gains a slight twinkle for a split second. "Then, why were you throwing some at Akihiro then?" she asked, Hito froze slightly. As the two continued to argue, Akihiro looked over at Takumi who had his back turned to the others, clearly oblivious to the mess around him. Akihiro sighed before walking over to him. "Hey." he called out, catching Takumi's attention. "What?" the taller man asked, his eyes narrowed in aggression. Akihiro gulped slightly before breathing in slightly and continuing. "You said that there were two kids outside of the gym, right?" he asked as Takumi thought about for a moment before responding. "Yeah, 2 brats, a boy and a girl." he responded as Akihiro narrowed his eyes. "The girl was my sister." he said as Takumi raised an eyebrow. "So, That makes the boy her twink boyfriend or something?" he asked, unimpressed. "That was her best friend." Akihiro muttered, trying to ignore Takumi's expression. "Oh, wow, I don't really care at all." Takumi growled. "It's your fault that you dragged your weakling of a sibling here." he continued, Akihiro gaining a head tac as he said that. "Well, you didn't have to lock them out from the gym." Akihiro retorted while Takumi rolled his eyes. "Look, This place isn't somewhere for little weaklings like them." Takumi said as he started to walk away. Akihiro gave a small breath before he noticed that Koharu walked up to him. "Hey, You okay?" she asked as Akihiro sighed. "Yeah." he admitted, still watching Takumi walk away from the area.
Koharu sighed after she glanced over to where Akihiro was looking at. "Look, We don't know who did that but we know that you didn't do this." she said as Akihiro looked at her. "Yeah." he answered as Koharu looked over at Hito and groaned. "Yeah, I wasn't able to convince Hito that you didn't do it." she mumbled in annoyance. Akihiro looked over at her and sighed. "Yeah, So, You think that Takumi did it?" he asked as Koharu glanced at him. "Who else?" she responded, crossing her arms as she huffed. "He is that guy who threatens other patrons and you know what he did to your sister and her friend." Akihiro gave a small sigh as she said that. "So, You're doing anything tonight." Koharu asked as Akihiro blushed slightly. "Uh, I mean, I'm busy tonight." he said as Koharu pouted slightly. "Okay then." she whispered before she walked away. Akihiro watched Koharu walked away before his blush lessen slightly. He sighed as he surveyed the area, examining the broken equipment scattered around the area. Yep, Non of it seemed to be salvageable. As he picked up the bag and walked away, he could feel Hito's glare on him as he exited the gym.
LEVEL 3: GYM CLEARED! PROCEED TO LEVEL 4? [Y/N] [AKIHIRO LV.3 | DECK: SPARING SPRANGER]
"Wait, So, Hito just blamed you for the equipment breaking when you just got there?" Yuchi asked, on a park bench next to Tomo, holding a fresh ice-cream cone. "Yeah, basically." Akihiro responded stretching his arms slightly as he gave a soft breath. "Eh, sounds about right, that guy is always blaming you for something breaking at the gym." Tomo said before licking her own ice-cream. "I mean, sometimes it's me, but that usually pretty rare." Akihiro responded. "So, Koharu?" Tomo asked as Akihiro froze, his face flushed strawberry red. "What about Koharu?" he asked as Tomo smirked, Yoshi tilted it's head slightly as Tomo fed him. Yuchi looked over at Akihiro with a confused look on his face. "You like her, don't you?" Tomo asked, Yuchi looked at her with a slightly confused look on his face while Akihiro's face went redder and redder. "I mean, She's really nice and really pretty and has nice hair and always smells nice..." Akihiro trailed off as Yuchi went silent before sighing slightly. "I think you should go for it." he said as Tomo and Akihiro looked at him. Akihiro breathed slightly before smiling. "Thanks, dude." he said before running off for a jog as Yuchi smiled as well while contrasting Tomo's slightly concerned expression aimed towards him.
The next day, Akihiro stepped through the doors of the gym before noticing Koharu chastising Takumi about something. "Look, I know that you broke that equipment so stop lying about it." she yelled as Takumi glared at her. "So, What if I did? What are you going to do about it." he said as Koharu's eyes widened in shock. "Are you trying to say that you broke the equipment on purpose? Why would you do that?" she asked as Takumi glared at her. "Answer me!" she yelled as Takumi raised a hand. "You talk too much." he simply said as he swung his fist towards Koharu whose eyes widened in horror and covered her face to block the strike which never connected. Akihiro had ran over and grabbed Takumi's arm to stop him, catching the ire of the man. "What are you doing?" Takumi growled in annoyance, his glare never fading. "I can't just stand back and let you hurt her." Akihiro said, not backing down. Koharu looked up at Akihiro and smiled slightly. Takumi growled while still glaring at Akihiro. "Back down, I won't ask again." he snarled as Akihiro didn't budge. "Make me." Akihiro responded as Takumi growled again. "Hey, Hey, Hey!" Hito yelled as he ran over, Akihiro looked over at him while Takumi didn't even acknowledge him. "Don't start a fight in here." Hito attempted to mitigate the tension within the air but Koharu cleared her throat, shutting him up. "There can be a simple way for you two are able to settle this without getting violent." she explained as Akihiro started to listen to the proposal while Takumi just glared at her. "A duel. The loser is banned from the gym." she said as Takumi raised an eyebrow. "I mean, I'm down for anything." Akihiro said as he looked at Takumi who was still glaring at him. "Fine! I'll win easily!" Takumi declared as he pulled out a dark grey duel-disk and slammed it on his arm, the device strapping onto his arm while the hardlight blade formed as he glared at Akihiro. Akihiro gave a small breath before placing his own duel disk, a pale blue duel disk, on his arm, it strapped around his arm and activating as well. "ESTABLISHING AR LINK BETWEEN CONTROLLER A AND CONTROLLER B...ACCESSING DUEL SYSTEM PROTOCAL..." the AI voice yelled, forming the digital dome formed around them. Koharu gave a soft hopeful look at Akihiro as the two drew their cards before glaring at each other with determined looks on their faces. "DUEL!" They yelled in union.
DUEL!
Akihiro Fushigoro (LP:4000) V.S Takumi Matsumoto (LP:4000)
Takumi went for the first turn. "Watashi no turn! Draw!" he yelled as he drew his card. He looked at his hand before selecting one of the cards in his hand. "First, Great White Shoukan!" he yelled as he slammed a card on his disk. A portal opened and a light blue energy ball bursted out of the portal. The energy reformed into a fish-shape with two distinctive arms on its sides before the energy around it faded away, revealing the monster's true form. It was a large Great White Shark with a pair of muscular limbs, a pair of side fins jetting out of the sides on it's back. It's eyes glowed red as it hovered slightly above the ground before the beast roared with it's maw filled with rows of razor sharp teeth and saliva spluttering over the place.
Great White WATER Level 4 Fish/Normal [ATK:1600]/DEF:800
"Great White?" Koharu wondered outloud, her face scrunching up slightly at the sight of the flying fish flexing. "It's an older card, never thought I would see anyone playing something like it again." Akihiro explained, looking at Takumi while wondering what was his next move would be. "Next, EXP Magic Card, Evolution Hatsudo!" he yelled as he activated the Spell Card, causing Akihiro and Koharu's eyes to widen in shock. A pale blue aura formed around Great White's body, causing it to glow slightly. "Watashi no Rebaru Yon Great White to Ebo-Gakunen Roku Evolution Shinka!" Takumi yelled as Great White's body started to transform into a brand new form. It became much large and what seemed to be additional limbs growing out of it's body. "Shinka Shoukan!" he yelled as the energy around Great White vanished, revealing it's new form. It was much larger, with it's body was now a much darker shade of blue and grey, it's arms were more muscular with a pair of muscular legs that ended in taloned feet, a long fish tail that swayed side to side and the two side fins now resembled that of wings. "Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon! Dangerous Great White!" Takumi yelled as the mutated shark monster roared into the sky, it's eyes glowing red.
Dangerous Great White WATER Evo-Grade 24 Fish/Evolution/Effect [ATK:2400]/DEF:2300
Akihiro gave a small breath as Takumi raised a card in his hand. "Kaado ichi mai settai! Turn End!" he yelled, placing the card on the field. A facedown Spell or Trap appeared on the field. "A Evo-Grade 24 right of the bat..." Koharu breathed in concern for Akihiro who gave a soft breath before placing on his hand on his deck. "Boku no Turn, Draw!" he yelled as he drew his card before looking at his hand and smirked slightly. "First, Sparing Spranger Carlos Shoukan!" he yelled, placing his card on the disk. From a summoning portal, a tall humanoid figure emerged from the portal, he was a young man with short dark brown hair with a single golden streak running from it and soft blue eyes. He was wearing a pale yellow and black jacket with a golden capital S on the back of it over a red shirt, dark blue jeans and dark red and white sneakers. He smirked before getting into a battle stance.
Sparing Spranger Carlos LIGHT Level 4 Warrior/Effect [ATK:1400]/DEF:1200
"Next, Since I control a non-FIRE "Sparing Spranger" monster, I can Special Summon this card from my hand! Sparing Spranger Dakoda Tokushu Shoukan!" Akihiro yelled, raising the card before placing it on the disk. From a portal, another humanoid figure emerged from it. She was a young woman with long dark brown hair and fiery orange eyes. She was wearing a black shirt with a dark red capital S on the front of the shirt, a dark red jacket wrapped around her waist, dark blue jeans and dark red and white sneakers. She gave breath before looking next to her and noticing Carlos who waved before she smirked, flames forming around her fists, and she got into a battle stance as well.
Sparing Spranger Dakoda FIRE Level 4 Warrior/Effect [ATK:1400]/DEF:1200
Takumi looked between the two cards on Akihiro's field while Hito let out a loud laugh. "Wait, That's it? Those cards are far too weak to take down Takumi's Dangerous Great White!" he mocked as Koharu shot him a death glare. "Whose side are you on?" she yelled as Hito froze. "N-No-ones...just pointing out the obvious." he explained meekly as Koharu narrowed her eyes. Meanwhile, Takumi growled slightly as Akihiro grinned before raising a hand into the sky. "Boku no Rebaru Yon no Sparing Spranger Carlos to Sparing Spranger Dakoda Obarei (I overlay Level 4 Sparing Spranger Carlos and Sparing Spranger Dakoda)!" he yelled as his two monsters turned into spiralling balls of red (Carlos) and yellow (Dakoda) before streaking into the sky. "Ehhh?!" Hito yelled in shock while Koharu looked up in amazement. "Ni tai no monsuta de obarei nettowaku o kochiku (With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network)!" Akihiro chanted as a red energy portal appeared on the field and the two streaks flew inside and were sealed within, causing a burst of energy to erupt from it. "Ekushiizu Shoukan (Xyz Summon)!" he yelled as his Extra Deck opened up and he grabbed a card within and slammed it on his disk, all the while, a new monster emerged from the portal. It was a tall humanoid figure, cladded within a dark red and golden armour over a completely black undersuit with red lining that run across the undersuit, the helmet being a boxy shape with it being a mainly red colour with a black visor on the front and a golden mouthpiece. "Arawareyo! Ranku Yon! Sparing Spranger Janus!" he finished as the newly-named warrior raised a hand before yellow energy formed within it's hand before the energy solidified into a large broadsword with a pale pink crystal embedded within the hilt and did a few test swings before pointing it at Dangerous Great White, 2 golden orbs of energy circled him like vultures.

Koharu gave a soft breath of admiration. "Woah, I didn't know you could Xyz Summon, Akihiro." she said as Akihiro rubbed the back of his head sheepishly before Takumi clearly his voice rather loudly. "I fail to see who that card is gonna help you, seeing that it is weaker then my monster." he chuckled, Dangerous Great White roared slightly as it glared down Janus.

Takumi smirked as he raised his hand into the sky. "Watch and learn. Sparing Spranger Janus no Kouka Hatsudo!" he yelled as Janus raised his sword into the sky, one of the orbs floated upwards towards the sword and being absorbed into the crystal, causing it to glow brightly. "I can detach 1 Overlay Unit from him and then, he gains 300 ATK until the End Phase!" Akihiro explained as Janus gained a pale golden aura around him.

Takumi's eyes widened in shock as Akihiro raised a hand and pointed towards Dangerous Great White. "Battle! Sparing Spranger Janus, attack Dangerous Great White!" he yelled as Janus rushed forward, leaping into the sky with his sword raised above his head. Dangerous Great White looked up into the sky and got into a battle stance. "Trap Hatsudo! Negate Attack!" Takumi yelled, raising a hand into the sky. Akihiro's eyes widened in shock as Janus's blade swiftly fell downwards before slamming against an energy barrier. "I can negate the attack and end the Battle Phase!" Takumi explained as Akihiro growled slightly as Janus leapt back to his side of the field. "Fine then, Kaado ni mai settai!" Akihiro yelled as he set the cards. Two cards appeared facedown on the field. "Turn End!"
Sparing Spranger Janus' [ATK:2500 → 2200]
Takumi placed his hand on his deck. "Watashi no Turn, DRAW!" he yelled as he drew his card. He then pointed in Akihiro's direction. "Battle! Dangerous Great White, tear Janus apart!" he yelled as Dangerous Great White rushed forwards, pouncing towards Janus who raised his sword into the sky in response. "Trap Hatsudo! Battle Absorption!" he yelled as the card flipped up, the card art depicting a large dark brown and golden shield, before the same shield manifested in front of Akihiro. "All Battle Damage I take is reduced to 0!" he explained as Dangerous Great White threw a punch which hit Janus square in his gut. "But Janus is still destroyed." Takumi exclaimed as Janus exploded before Dangerous Great White jumped back onto his side of the field. Koharu gave a small breath as Takumi raised a card in his hand. "Kaado ichi mai Settai! Turn End!" he yelled as the card appeared facedown.
Akihiro placed a hand on his deck. "Boku no Turn, Draw!" he said, drawing his card. "First, Sparing Spranger Lily Shoukan!" he yelled, placing the card on the disk. From a summoning portal, a young girl emerged, with golden blonde hair and light blue eyes, she landed on the field, her pale gold and snow white dress fluttered in the wind while the golden S on the back gleamed brightly. She smiled as she gave a small bow before getting into a battle stance.

"Next, I'll reveal Shine and Blaze in my hand to Special Summon this card! Sparing Spranger Sol Tokushu Shoukan!" Akihiro yelled, as he revealed his Spell before placing another card on his disk. From another portal, A young man with tanned skin, fuzzy dark brown hair and dusty golden eyes emerged. He was wearing a pair of black jeans held up by a dark brown belt with a pale golden sun-shaped buckle and dark brown boots with pale orange laces. He was also topless, with bandages wrapped around his torso and upper arms. He gave a loud yell before getting into a battle stance, flames slightly dancing around his fists as he did.
Sparing Spranger Sol FIRE Level 4 Warrior/Effect [ATK:1100]/DEF:1200
"Next, Boku no Rebaru Yon no Sparing Spranger Lily to Sparing Spranger Sol Obarei!" Akihiro yelled as his two monsters transformed into spiralling balls of red and yellow energy before streaking into the air. "Again?!" Hito asked as Koharu looked up in wonder. "Ni tai no monsuta de obarei nettowaku o kochiku!" he yelled as a red energy portal appeared on the field and the two streaks flew inside and were sealed within, before a burst of energy erupted from it. "Ekushiizu Shoukan! Ranku Yon!" he yelled as his Extra Deck opened up and he grabbed the card within before slamming the card on the disk. From the portal, a new monster emerged from the portal. It was a tall humanoid cladded within a dark red and bronze spartan armour, a golden cape tied around his neck. "Arawareyo! Ranku Yon! Sparing Spranger Atlas!" he yelled as the new monster raised a hand into the sky before a pair of knives attached to chains formed within his hands, the chains wrapping around his arms. He then slashed at the air before pointing one of the knifes at Dangerous Great White, a pair of dark red orbs circled around him.

"Another one?" Takumi asked as Akihiro raised a hand into the sky. "Sparing Spranger Atlas no Kouka Hatsudo! I can detach 1 Overlay Unit from it and target 1 monster you control; and destroy that target!" Akihiro explained as Takumi's eyes widened in shock. One of Atlas' overlay units being absorbed into one of it's knives, causing it's blade to glow a pale orange colour. "I'll destroy Dangerous Great White!" he yelled as Atlas swung his arm forwards, the chain wrapped around his arm unravelling to send the knife flying as he let it go. Dangerous Great White's eyes widened in shock as the knife flew straight at it and flew right through it, causing it to explode. Takumi growled as Akihiro smirked. "Now, your wide open! Sparing Spranger Atlas attack Takumi directly." he yelled as Atlas jumped into the sky before landing back onto the ground, causing a flaming shockwave to fly across the field. Takumi took the blast head-on, causing him to growl slightly. "Kaado ichi mai Settai! Turn End!" he exclaimed, setting 1 card facedown.

Takumi placed a hand on the top of his deck, rage running through his body, he wasn't gonna lose to some random punk, he was the strongest. "Watashi no Turn, DRAW!" he roared in pure unfiltered rage, his draw causing a shockwave to rush through the area. "Woah!" Akihiro yelled as he put up his arm over his face to shield his eyes from sheer force of the draw. The audience that has accumulated during the duel also blocked the shockwave of the draw. "First, Dangerous Great White no Kouka Hatsudo! I can banish it from my GY in order to Special Summon Great White from my GY!" He yelled as a dark purple portal appeared on the field and Great White leapt out of it, roaring as he landed on the field. "It's back?" Akihiro muttered in confusion. "Next, Blackland Fire Dragon Shoukan!" Takumi yelled as he slammed the card on his disk. From a summoning portal, a large green four-legged dragon crawled out, it's eyes glowed a pale yellow colour as it roared in the ground.

"Blackland Fire Dragon as well?" Koharu whispered in confusion, seeing the monster on Takumi's field. "Next, Magic Card Evolution Revolution Hatsudo!" Takumi yelled as his facedown card flipped up, the artwork showing a dark red atom with the rings around it having dark green sparks running across it. "I can target 1 EXP Spell/Trap within my GY and add that target to my hand!" he yelled, as the card glowed. "I return Evolution back to my hand!" Takumi yelled as Evolution slid out of his GY and he added it back to his hand. "Next, EXP Spell Evolution Hatsudo!" He yelled as he activated the card, Great White glowing bright blue as he did. "Again?" Akihiro yelled in shock as Takumi raised his hand. "Watashi no Rebaru Yon Great White to Ebo-Gakunen Roku Evolution Shinka!" he yelled as Great White's body turned into pure energy and started to shift again. "Shinka Shoukan! Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon! Dangerous Great White!" he yelled as Great White evolved into a second Dangerous Great White, roaring as it took it's place on the field. "Wait, You have another one?" Akihiro and Koharu both yelled in confusion as Takumi reached for a second card in his hand. "Next, EXP Spell Evolution Hatsudo!" he yelled as Akihiro and Koharu's eyes widened again. This time, Blackland Fire Dragon gained an dark purple aura around it. "Watashi no Rebaru Yon Blackland Fire Dragon to Ebo-Gakunen Roku Evolution Shinka!" Takumi yelled as Blackland Fire Dragon transformed into dark purple energy, soon growing in size as well. "Shinka Shoukan!" Takumi yelled, as a card slid out of his Extra Deck and he grabbed before slamming it on his disk. As the energy faded, a new monster stood in place of Blackland Dragon. It was similar to the pervious dragon, being a green dragon but that was where the similarities end. This dragon was bipedal and much more bulkier then the pervious dragon, it's scales was a much darker shade of green, cladded within jet-black armour with a second pair of wings. "Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon! Blackland Apocalypse Dragon!" It's eyes flashed brightly as it roared into the sky, Atlas getting into a battle stance as he glared at both monsters that were glaring him down.

"No way..." Koharu whispered in shock as Hito laughed. "Well, look at that, Takumi has two super strong monsters on his field that can mow down Akihiro's monster down." he exclaimed as Takumi snarled slightly. "Dangerous Great White no Kouka Hatsudo! When it's Evolution Summoned, I can target 1 monster that you control and destroy it! Drown, Atlas!" he yelled as Dangerous Great White roared before firing a stream of water from it's maw directly at Atlas, causing it to grunt in pain before it was destroyed. Akihiro grunted slightly as Takumi's eyes glowed in rage. "Next, Blackland Apocalypse Dragon no Kouka Hatsudo! When it's Evolution Summoned, I can inflict 700 points of damage to my opponent! Infernal Fire Burst!" he yelled, Blackland Apocalypse Dragon's maw glowed a dark purple colour before a burst of dark purple flames rocketed across the gym before slamming into Akihiro. "Akihiro!" Koharu yelled in shock as the smoke cleared, revealing Akihiro, still standing albeit with a few burns forming on his arms and face.

"Next, Dangerous Great White attack Akihiro directly." Takumi ordered as his evolved Great White roared before firing a stream of water and electricity, which hit Akihiro, square on, causing him to scream in pain. Koharu covered her mouth in horror while Hito's smile seemed grow across his face at the sight. Soon, the lightning subsided, leaving Akihiro gasping for air. Koharu looked, panicked now while Hito silently chuckled.

Takumi raised a hand as his dragon's maw glowed dark purple. "Blackland Apocalypse Dragon finish this! Spectral Stream of Subjugation!" he yelled as his dragon fired a stream of spiralling dark purple flames at Akihiro. Koharu's eyes widened. Everything felt like slow-motion, her crush, the person who she loved with all her heart was now staring down a spiralling stream of dark purple flames. She felt tears form in her eyes as she waited for the dreaded moment when Akihiro's LP hit 0. "Trap Hatsudo! Scrap Iron Scarecrow!" Akihiro's voice yelled through the haze within Koharu's mind, causing everything to return to it's normal speed. The trap card flipped, transforming into a scarecrow made from scrap-metal, blocking the blast that was fired before the card flipped back down. Takumi blinked in confusion before Akihiro explained how the card worked. "When your monster declares an attack, I can negate that attack and set this card back facedown, instead of destroying it." Akihiro explained, Takumi's confusion slowly transforming to rage with every word. "Raagh, Turn End!" he roared in rage.
Koharu breathed in relief while Hito gave a small growl. Akihiro placed a hand on the card before gaining a determined expression on his face. "Boku no Turn, DRAW!" he yelled, drawing his card. He looked at his hand before smirking. "First, Sparing Spranger Spade Shoukan!" he yelled, placing the card on his disk. From a summoning portal, new humanoid monster emerged. It was a young woman with long dark blue hair with dark red highlights running through it and light blue eyes. She was wearing a dark red bycocket hat with cream white lining on it and a black spade emblem with the red S on the front of it, a snow-white dress shirt, a black underbust corset with a dark red inner part and four golden buttons on it, dark brown trousers held up by a black belt with a golden buckle and dark red heels. Spade gave a soft breath before reaching into her belt before producing a dark brown musket, pointing it at both of Takumi's monsters.
Sparing Spranger Spade FIRE Level 4 Warrior/Effect [ATK:1200]/DEF:1200
"Next, EXP Spell, Shine and Blaze, Hatsudo!" Akihiro yelled as he activated the card. Spade suddenly gained a dark red aura around his body, the aura taking the form of a large dragonic shape. "I can target 1 "Springing Spranger" monster I control and evolve it!" he yelled as Shade's normally-light blue eyes changed to a dark orange colour. Koharu smiled widely while Hito's eyes widened in shock. "Boku no Rebaru Yon Sparing Spranger Spade to Ebo-Gakunen Nana!" Akihiro yelled as Spade's body transformed into bright orange energy that started to shift into a more draconic appearance. "Shinka Shoukan!" he yelled as the energy faded from the new monster on the field. The new monster was much different from the other monsters from being. Instead of somekind of humanoid figure, this one was a large bipedal dragon cladded in dark red and cream white mechanical armour, instead of claws, it had fists with spikes protruding from the knuckles, forming a pair of makeshift knuckle dusters. It also had a pair of large wings, made from a dark orange energy and long armoured tail that swayed behind it. "Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuhachi! The fists of the heavens that continue to fight! Sparing Spranger Champion Ryu!" Akihiro yelled as his dragon roared into the sky as it's eyes glowed bright orange.
Sparing Spranger Champion Ryu FIRE Evo-Grade 28 Dragon/Evolution/Effect [ATK:2800]/DEF:2300
Both Takumi and Hito's eyes widened in shock at this new monster while Koharu cheered at this new monster's summon. Soon, her cheers were joined by the cheers of the other cheers of others within the audience. "Come, Akihiro! Show that jackass who's boss! Win this!" Akihiro smiled at the support that he was reserving while Takumi's left eye twitched in rage. "Next, Sparing Spranger Spade no Kouka Hatsudo! When it was used as Material for the Evolution Summon of a "Sparing Spranger" monster, I can Special Summon 1 non-FIRE "Sparing Spranger" monster from my Deck! Arawareyo, Sparing Spranger Luna!" he yelled as a transparent image of Sparing Spranger Spade appeared before vanishing before a card slid out of his deck and he grabbed the card before slamming it on the deck. From a summoning portal appeared on the field and a new figure emerged from the portal. It was a slender woman with long dark brown hair and light blue eyes. She was wearing a dark blue witch hat, a dark blue jacket over a white dress shirt with black buttons going down the front of it, dark blue jeans and a pair of dark black high-heels. She gave a small sigh before snapping her hands, forming a golden whip that ended in a star-shaped mace which she grabbed and slammed it on the ground.

"Next, Sparing Spranger Luna no Kouka Hatsudo! I can target 1 "Sparing Spranger" monster in my GY and Special Summon it! Return, Sparing Spranger Sol!" Akihiro yelled, raising a hand into the sky. Luna clapped her hands together before a portal formed beside her and Sol emerged from it, giving Luna a small wave while gaining a nod from the other monster. Koharu raised an eyebrow, realizing what was about to happen. "Wait, 2 Level 4s...Does that means?" she thought excitingly as Akihiro confirmed her thoughts. "Boku no Rebaru Yon Sparing Spranger Luna to Sparing Spranger Sol Obarei!" he yelled as the two monsters transformed into red and yellow orbs of dark red energy, spiralling into the sky. "Ni tai no monsuta de obarei nettowaku o kochiku!" Akihiro yelled as the red portal appeared and the two streaks were sealed within, causing a burst of energy to erupt from it. "Ekushiizu Shoukan!" Akihiro yelled, as a new monster emerged from the portal. Unlike the other monsters, It was a young woman with short soft brown hair with pale blue highlights running through it and light blue eyes, wearing a pale white shirt with a large golden S on the front of it, a golden jacket wrapped around her waist, a pair of high-tech gloves, dark blue ripped jeans made from a demin material and dark red sneakers with white laces. Hovering just above was a pair of small metallic steel drones with blinking red lights on them. "Arawareyo! Ranku Yon! Sparing Spranger Elytra!" Elytra gave a small breath, brushing some of her hair from her face while two yellow overlay units circled around her.

"A new Sparing Spranger Xyz Monster?" Hito whispered in shock while Koharu continued to cheer. "Next, Sparing Spranger Elytra no Kouka Hatsudo! I can detach 1 overlay unit and then target 2 monsters that you control and negate their effects!" he yelled as Elytra snapped her fingers as one of the overlay units vanish from sight. Suddenly, both of the drones flew towards Takumi's monsters, circling over them like vultures before a large energy dome formed above the two monsters, causing them to growl in pain and anger. Takumi's left eye twitched again in pure unfiltered rage. This wasn't happening, there was no way this was actually happening, he won't lose, he can't lose.
Sparing Spranger Elytra [2 OVERLAY UNIT → 1 OVERLAY UNIT]
"Battle! Sparing Spranger Champion Ryu attack Dangerous Great White!" Akihiro ordered as Ryu roared before flying towards Dangerous Great White. The large humanoid shark creature roared before getting into a battle stance. When Ryu was in range, Dangerous Great White swung a left hook which Ryu dodged the strike before smashing it's tail into Dangerous Great White's head, causing it to roar out in pain. Soon, Ryu roared before reeling it's fist backwards before slamming it's fist square into Dangerous Great White's chest. Dangerous Great White gave a pained scream before exploding, Takumi gritting his teeth in pure unaltered rage as the smoke blew over him.

"Sparing Spranger Champion Ryu no Kouka Hatsudo! When it's destroys a monster in battle, it can attack again!" Akihiro explained as Takumi's eyes widened in shock. Hito's jaw hung wide open in horror while the rest of the spectators' cheers became a loud roar of praise. "Sparing Spranger Champion Ryu, finish this duel! Attack Blackland Apocalypse Dragon! Rising Blaze Burst!" Akihiro yelled as Ryu roared again as it's maw glow a dark orange colour before it fired a spiralling stream of dark orange flames directly at Blackland Apocalypse Dragon. Blackland Apocalypse Dragon roared in defiance before counterattacking with it's own energy blast. The two energy blasts slammed into each other, creating an energy struggle between the two dragons. Soon, Ryu was able to overpower Blackland Apocalypse Dragon, the smaller dragon was engulfed within the dark orange flames, causing it to roar in pain as it was torn apart by the blast. Takumi roared in frustration as he was launched backwards from the shockwave, the holographic WIN screen appeared with Akihiro's face on it.

Ryu gave a victory roar while Elytra gave a small fist bump into the air before they both vanished. "Okay, Takumi, You know the rules." Akihiro said as Takumi growled, slamming his fist on the ground. Hito just stood there, clearly in a state of shock. Takumi looked up, his eye filled with hate before running at Akihiro, fists brought up into a battle stance while yelling ferociously. As he moved in to strike, Akihiro blocked the strike before delivering a swift punch to the gut, knocking him out. Hito's jaw just dropped even more as Koharu ran over to Akihiro and hugged him, causing him to blush. "I-I mean, Takumi wasn't that violent." Hito finally said, slightly stuttering on most of his words as most of the gym went silent. Suddenly, Hito found him with almost every eye pinpointed on him. "Oh, Not that violent my ass! He threatened me when we were at the water fountain, he tried to beat me up at the rock-climbing wall when I just made a harmless joke at his expense!" multiple voices yelled within the crowd while Hito pushed against the wall. "H-Hey, L-Let's be civil about this." he stuttered, trying any way to save his own skin at this point. However, his words had no affect on the angry crowd, charging at him.
A few days later, Akihiro stood in front of a new punching bag in front of him. Yuchi smirked while leaning next to the wall. "So, are you think that this one can handle you at your best?" he asked while Akihiro smirked. "Let's do it!" he yelled before winding up a punch. He ran up to the punching bag, slamming his fist into it at full power but unlike the first punching bag, the bag wasn't destroyed this time. Akihiro raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. "Huh, Guess the gym equipment were just really old after all." he chuckled as Koharu walked up to them. "I mean, We were overdue for some new equipment down the line, but, Hito was hogging all the funds." she explained, stopping Akihiro before leaning on his left arm, causing him to blush slightly. "Heh, I had some suspicions about Hito." he said, smirking slightly. "At least, he's gone." Koharu added on to the sentence. "So, Koharu, remember that question last week." he said as Koharu looked up, confused, before placing a hand underneath her chin and looking her in the eyes. "You free tonight?~" he asked, Koharu's face flushed blight red as he said that. "Oh, that was smooth." Yuchi muttered under his breath. Tomo walked up to Yuchi, holding two cups of lemonade. "Hey, how you hold up?" she asked, slightly concerned. Yuchi looked at her before looking at Akihiro and Koharu who were walking away from them before smiling. "I'm fine. If he's happy then, I'm happy." he replied, accepting one of the lemonades from her.

Akihiro: "Guess we have to give a fun fact, how about you take this one, Koharu?"
Koharu: "My pleasure. Hito was fired from the position of manager for crimes that include Money-Laundering and theft of company products, and that's just some of the stuff that they'll let us know about."
Akihiro: "Well, At least he's gone now."
Koharu: "You said it."

"A slight laugh echoing from the void, a voice within the sky asking me a question if I wanna continue...Just another day within the shadows." (Yuchi is seen standing on top of a hill, the wind blowing through the area as he gazed into the sky.)
"The star shine in defiance of the abyss, a sign that I will survive this darkened world that I have been placed within. (Tomo is seen walking down a street on her phone, the light of the sunset basking her within it's glow.)
"Blaring, Screaming, Glowing, Growing, Joy and Sadness, Ying and Yang within your fading heart, now let me sing this final melody, let me hear you speak for the last time! (Akihiro is seen punching a punching bag, sweat dripping down his face as he gave a few deep breaths, wiping his brow.)
"No Way to go, but up, within this dreary hell, Time becomes a void for this nameless crew of ours, now hear me sing... (Yuchi is seen running through an empty street disappearing through a glitchy wall into an unknown area that seemed completely foreign to him, time seemed to stop for him as he looked around his surroundings in shock.)

"I'LL MAKE! YOU SAY! HOW PROUD! YOU ARE OF ME!" (Yuchi is then seen floating within a dark purple and magenta spiralling void, looking around confused before seeing a feminine figure standing in front of him.)
"SO, STAY AWAKE! JUST LONG ENOUGH TO SEE...MY WAY!" (Yuchi is then fired into the sky before pulling out his Duel Disk and placing it onto his wrist and revealing the card form of Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura.)
