EVO-004: The Key to the unknown? Seven Star Adventurers vs Superterrestrial!
Soft footsteps walked down the pavement, the pale moon illuminated the sky as a figure, wearing a dark brown trenchcoat, a dark brown fedora, black trousers and brown boots, wandered down the street, swaying slightly as she walked down the street. As she looked up at the sky, he looked down at the palm of his hand, revealing that of a strange object resting within his palm. She looked straight ahead, continuing on his way down the street, his movement feeling slightly more controlled then before. As he walked down the street, he noticed someone walking down the street in the other direction. It was a familiar face, walking down the street with his face glued to his phone, black earbuds in his ears. The figure walked past Yuchi, dropping the object into the boy's backpack without the boy not knowing what was happening. As the figure walked down the street, they looked back at Yuchi who was still oblivious to what had happened before smiling as she vanished into a crowd.
Soon, Yuchi made it home, walking into the house, took off his shoes and started to walking upstairs. His mom heard him enter and looked over at him from the kitchen. "Yuchi, It's almost 3 am. Where were you?" she asked as Yuchi froze as he was halfway upstairs while not looking at her. "...You already know." he muttered as his mother froze slightly before looking down to her feet with a slightly guilty expression as her son continued to walk upstairs. As he entered, he sighed as he threw his backpack on the ground, a strange object slid out of the bag. Yuchi froze as he heard it cluttered on the ground before he reached to pick it up. He looked at the object in his hand. It was a strange cream-coloured rounded locket with a small tear-shaped teal crystal embedded in the middle of the locket. "What the hell...?" he whispered as he examined the locket. He sighed before placing the locket back in his backpack and soon, going to bed. As Yuchi slept though, the key within his bag seemed glow a pale teal light.
Meanwhile, within Yuchi's dreams, Yuchi found himself floating within a pitch-black void filled with dense fog. "Okay, this is new..." he muttered as he looked around, slightly confused. Suddenly, he noticed the slight outline of a strange gate in front of him. "Huh?" he muttered as a circular glow begun to shine from the middle of the gate, roughly the same size as the locket that he found from before. Yuchi raised an eyebrow before he reached into his pocket, rummaging in it for a moment before he realised that he left the trinket in his backpack. "Oh, yeah..." he muttered before he felt his entire weight start to fall downwards. He looked down to see that he was falling downwards into the void below. Soon, Yuchi found himself jolting away, his long teal hair tumbling down his back as he took a few deep breaths to slow down his rapidly beating heart. "Okay, so that was a weird dream..." he muttered as he checked outside, seeing that it was already day. "Huh, Morning already?" he asked, getting out of bed before before opening the blinds, allowing the warm sunlight to glow through the window.
As Yuchi walked downstairs, His mom looked up from the kitchen. "Hey, Yuchi, had a good nights sleep?" she asked as Yuchi walked towards the doorway. "...Yeah, it was fine." he muttered slightly as he walked into the kitchen, avoiding eye-contact with her. His mom sighed as Yuchi grabbed a granola bar from the cupboard and started to eat it. "Are you sure you don't need anything else?" his mom call after him but he was already gone. She sighed as she remembered what had happened to her eldest daughter, Yuchi's older sister. Meanwhile, Yuchi was walking down the street, still eating the granola bar. As he walked down the street, he heard a soft whisper coming from behind him, causing him to look behind himself with a confused look on his face. He froze as the world around him went black, his eyes darting around frantically while his heart pounded against his chest. Something seemed to flicker from sight to sight, a lone figure that seemed to walk closer and closer to him. As the figure got closer and closer to him, his heartbeat increased faster and faster before the figure was close enough for him to recognize it. It was a young girl, about a year older then him, with long dark teal hair with smoky black side-bangs that went down to her thighs and golden eyes. She was wearing a dark blue jacket over a black dress that went down to her knees and brown boots. Tears soon filled Yuchi's eyes as the girl soon opened her mouth to speak.
"Yuchi!"
Yuchi was soon snapped out of his stupor as Tomo called out his name. "You okay, man? You just zoned out for a second." she asked as Yuchi wiped the tears from his eyes. "Oh, Yeah. I'm fine." he said as Tomo gave him slightly concerned expression on her face. "Come on, We gonna be late." Yuchi yelled, grabbing Tomo by the arm and pulling her along. "H-Hey, Wait!" Tomo yelped, being dragged along behind him. As they pasted by the window of a coffee shop, a young woman, wearing a dark brown fedora, a brown trenchcoat over a pale white dress shirt, black gloves, black trousers and brown boots sipped from a tea cup, noticing the duo run past the window, her vision slightly fixed on Yuchi as he and Tomo glided past, before giving a small smile before taking another sip from her cup again.

Yu-Gi-Oh! RE:PLAY Opening 1: DNA-X-EXP (Melody: Seishun Complex from Boochi The Rock)
*8 Minute Intro* (A few screenshots showed Yuchi picking up his deck, placing it on his wrist and activated it, a large grin forming on his face. The background then shattered to reveal a green cybernetic background with the title card, Yu-Gi-Oh! RE:PLAY, appeared on the screen.)
"Another day has come around, and my monsters are ready to come out to play!" (Yuchi was leaning on a wall, looking at his phone before noticing Tomo running to him before grabbing him by the arm and dragging him with much to the boy's confusion.)
"Got to wish upon a star and hope I draw the right card!" (Akihiro was then seen, training with a punching bag before Tomo walking into the room, before waving at him, the boy stopping his training to wave back before delivering a wild haymaker to the punching bag.)
"Just go with the flow, and hope you don't fall behind in this game!" (Yuchi is then seen clutching his arm before the ground below him shifted and he fell through it, falling down before landing into a dark area.)
*Five Second Interlude* (As he looked upwards, he saw a large black chess piece fall right in front of him, causing his to recoil. The Camera then panned upwards to see 9 different humanoid silhouettes with glowing eyes, with a tenth much large silhouette looking down on Yuchi with a twisted grin on his face and glowing red eyes.)
"The path that you chose may be long and harsh, many foes you'll encounter on the way." (The area shifted once again, placing Yuchi in a beach-like area, leaving Yuchi as he wandered through the area.)
"And even if I fall behind, I won't give up, even when the odds are stacked against me!" (A slideshow of pictures showed Yuchi having fun exploring the area he found himself before the scene changed to Yuchi eating an ice-cream before a large shadowed shape emerged from the sky, threating to crush Yuchi underneath it's weight.)
*[TURN IT UP! RE:PLAY!]*
"Running through the storm, Through the Fire and The Flames, The Game might be in hard mode but We got this in the bag!" (Yuchi dodged out of the way to reveal that this figure was the silhouette of somekind crab-shaped humanoid with the only noticeable features being a pair of glowing pink eyes. Yuchi gave a small breath as he activated his Duel-Disk and selected a card which glowed as he raised it into the sky.)
"Moving through the snow, As the Day turns to Nightfall, We won't stop until we win this game!" (Yuchi then raised a hand as what seemed to be EXP formed around him before looking up the sky to see a humanoid silhouette with glowing cyan eyes standing on the roof top of a building before vanishing along with the area around him before Yuchi gave a small nod before he struck a pose with Tomo and Akihiro.)
*8 Minute Outro* (The background goes dark green again with the Title Card appearing in the middle of it.)
"So, You guys just ran here?"
Yuchi and Tomo just nodded to the question. Hiroki raised an eyebrow in confusion as Umeko gave a small breath as she gazed at the two. "Yeesh, what happened?" Hiroki asked as Yuchi broke into cold sweat. "Don't know. All I know is that Yuchi zoned out or something." Tomo responded. "Huh?" Hiroki asked as Yuchi gulped slightly. "I mean, If Yuchi is willing to share why he zoned out earlier." Umeko said as Yuchi gave a small sigh of relief. "I mean, Sure." Hiroki muttered as the quartet heard the bell start to ring out across the courtyard. "Looks like it's time for class." Yuchi whispered as he looked at the others. "I mean, I don't think we have any classes together today." Tomo said before Hiroki spoke up. "Wanna meet up at the Duel Station after school then?" he asked as the other nodded.
As Yuchi walked into his first class, he felt a strange chill rundown his spine as he looked behind him, seeing nothing. He gave a small breath of worry before walking to his seat, not noticing the same girl hallucination standing in the doorframe. As the day progressed, Yuchi could notice the girl standing within the corner of his eye. Sometimes, he just tried to ignore her, and sometimes, he would try and talk to her but getting no response. As he sat in his seat, the teacher's voice being drowned out by his own mind, he noticed, in the corner of his eye, in the corner of his eye, the distinctive form of the girl once more. "Oh...hey...he muttered, as he glanced at the figure who seemed to just stare at him from distance. Yuchi gave a small sigh before blinking. As he opened his eyes, the figure wasn't there anymore. "Huh, Where did she go?" he muttered before looking next to the figure standing just a few meters away from his face. "Holy-?!" he yelped as the figure looked down at his backpack. "Huh? What's wrong with my bag?" he asked as the figure pointed at a distinctive pale cream chain hoop, poking out of the open part of the bag. "The locket?" he asked, clearly confused. The figure nodded before vanishing, leaving a confused Yuchi pounder on what the figure wanted.
Yuchi gave a small sigh as he walked down the hallway, the final bell ringing within his ears as he did. He was still thinking about what had happened when the figure from before pointed at the locket within his backpack. As he walked down the staircase outside of the school, he took a soft breath as he surveyed the area before he noticed Tomo who waved at him which he returned. He walked over to her before both of them started to walk down the street. "The other two are already at the Duel Station, so they'll already be there, waiting for us." Tomo said as they walked down the street, Yuchi seemingly slightly distracted by something. "Hey, dude, what with the long face?" Tomo asked, snapping Yuchi out of his stupor. "Oh, It's nothing." he said as the two approached a building.
LEVEL 4: SCHOOL CLEARED! PROCEED TO LEVEL 5? [Y/N] [YUCHI LV.2 | DECK: SEVEN STAR ADVENTURER/TOMO LV.2 | DECK: TRAILBLAZER]
It was a large dark blue and grey building with a massive billboard attached to the front of the building, resembling that of the back of a Duel Monsters card with the words "DUEL STATION" overlayed over it. The two kids looked up at the billboard. "The Duel Station, one of the biggest Dueling Centre in Dawnlake City." Tomo muttered as Yuchi sniffed the air. "As well as one of the best diners around." he said, licking his lips as the two walked inside. The building within was large, seemingly must larger then it was from the outside, with an area with multiple different tennis court-like courts with multple duelist playing Duel Monsters while the main area seemed to be a large dining area. As Yuchi and Tomo walked in, they noticed Hiroki and Umeko sitting at a table, Hiroki waved at them when he noticed them.
The two walked over to the table and sat opposite to them. "So, What's up?" Yuchi asked as Hiroki gave a small smirk. "Eh, Nothing much." he said while Umeko rolled her eyes in amusement. "We ordered your guys favourites, Two number 9s with extra burger sauce and lattice, large fries and a large soda." Umeko said, slightly blushing. Tomo raised an eyebrow. "Wait, That's Yuchi's favourite tho..." she muttered as Umeko's eyes widened in embarrassment before burying her face into the table. "I mean, Thanks, Umeko-San." Yuchi said as a waiter walked over with their order. "Here's your orders, 2 Number 9s, Extra Burger Sauce, Extra Lattice, Large Fires and a Large Soda, 1 Number 13 with Extra Onion Rings, Spicy Fries and a Orange Soda and 1 Number 6 with no Pickles, Extra Mayo, Fries and a small Soda." he said as he placed the food on the table. "Thanks." The students said as the waiter walked away.
As the quartet ate, a certain someone entered the building and noticed Yuchi. "Hey, Yuchi-San." Yuchi looked over to the source of the noise, his mouth filled with burger meat with a red sauce rundown from his chin. He swallowed before tilting his head in curiosity. "Raito-San." he said as Raito smiled as he walked over. Tomo noticed Raito and also seemed slightly confused. "Huh, I didn't know that you came here, Raito-San." she muttered, slightly confused. "Oh, I just got a new deck and I've been dying to test it out." he exclaimed as Hiroki and Umeko's eyes widened. "Wait, You guys know Raito-San?" Hiroki asked as Yuchi rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah, We met very recently." he explained as he took another bite of his burger. "So, Yuchi-San, Do you wanna help me test them out?" Raito asked as Yuchi raised an eyebrow before swallowing the food. "You mean, You want to have a duel?" he asked, the other kids looking confused as well. "Yeah, What do you say?" Raito asked, Yuchi thinking for a moment before smirking. "Your on!" he yelled as Tomo and Hiroki cheered while Umeko gave a small sigh. Raito smiled as Yuchi finished eating.
A few moments later, Yuchi and Raito were standing opposite to each other while the other three duelists were standing by the side-lines, Hiroki was still drinking his soda from before. "Ready?" Yuchi asked as Raito gave a nod as the two placing their disks on their wrists, Raito's Duel Disk was a dark grey colour before activating them, a dark blue blade forming from Raito's duel-disk. "ESTABLISHING AR LINK BETWEEN CONTROLLER A AND CONTROLLER B...ACCESSING DUEL SYSTEM PROTOCAL..." the female voice said as the burst of energy formed across the field. "And there they go." Hiroki said as the two duelists drew their cards before looking at each other with determined expressions of their faces.
Yuchi [LP:4000] VS Raito [LP:4000]
Yuchi went for the first turn. "Let's go! Boku no Turn, DRAW!" he yelled as he drew his card. "First thing's first, Seven Star Adventurer - Apprentice Azura Shoukan!" Yuchi yelled, placing the card on the disk. From a summoning portal, Azura emerged, giving a nervous wave towards Raito and the others before summoning her staff and gulping as she got into a battle stance.
Seven Star Adventurer - Apprentice Azura DARK Level 4 Spellcaster/Effect [ATK:1500]/DEF:1000
"Azura already?" Tomo muttered, slightly confused, as Yuchi selected another card in his hand. "Next, Since I control a "Seven Star Adventurer" monster, I can Special Summon this guy from my hand. Koi, Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Swordsman!" he yelled, placing a card on his disk. From a second portal, Sure Sure Swordsman emerged from it, landing on the field before giving Azura a wave which slightly calmed her nerves.
Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Swordsman LIGHT Level 3 Warrior/Effect [ATK:1300]/DEF:1200
Yuchi then selected 2 cards in his hand. "Kaado ni mai settai! Turn End!" he said as he set his cards. Two facedown Magic or Trap cards appeared on Yuchi's side of the field. Raito gave a small headtilt. "No Evolution Summon?" he asked, slightly confused. "Eh, Not really the time for one yet." Yuchi said as Raito smirked, placing his hand on his deck. "Heh, You're really interesting, aren't you? Fine then, Watashi no Turn, Draw!" he said, drawing his card. "First, Field Magic Superterrestrial Mutation Lab Hatsudo!" he yelled as he placed the card. Suddenly, the field changed appearances, transforming into a large lobotomy-like facility with large tubes filled with a pale blue liquid along both sides of the players. "Yeesh, Freaky." Hiroki muttered as he looked around. "Superterrestrial?" Tomo asked, slightly confused. "Must be a combination of Supernatural and Extra-terrestrial." Umeko answered as Raito reached for another card in his hand. "Next, Superterrestrial Invader Shoukan!" he yelled as he placed the the card on his disk. From a summoning portal, a new monster emerged from it. It was a dark grey creature with large black bug-like eyes, dark grey spots scattered across it's body and a long tail that swayed behind it. It was cladded within sliver armour with light green lining and a green energy sword in one hand. It gave a small growl as it pointed it's sword at the two Seven Star Adventurer monsters, Sure Sure Swordsman raising an eyebrow before he and Azura got into battle stances.
Superterrestrial Invader DARK Level 4 Reptile/Effect [ATK:1200]/DEF:1200
"Next, When Invader is Normal or Special Summoned, I can add 1 "Superterrestrial" EXP Spell/Trap from my Deck to my hand." Raito explained as a card slid out of his deck before he drew it and placed it into his hand. "Next, Since I control a "Superterrestrial" monster, I can Special Summon this card from my hand, Arawareyo, Superterrestrial Specter!" he said, placing the card on the disk. From a summoning portal, a strange blob like creature floated out of it. It was similar to a ghost, made from a green gelatis substance, with a pair of glowing red dots for eyes and no visible limbs to be seen. It gave a small squeak noise as it floated next to Invader, a dark blue aura formed around it as it did.
Superterrestrial Specter DARK Level 4 Illusion/Effect ATK:1200/[DEF:1200]
Yuchi looked at the two monsters with a slightly unnerved expression on his face. Raito smiled before selecting a card within his hand. "Since you didn't Evolution Summon first, How about I try it for a change?" He asked as nearly everyone's eyes widened in shock. "EXP Spell, Superterrestrial Mutation Hatsudo!" Raito said, placing the card on the disk. The card appeared on the field, the artwork showing a strange creature on an operating table with the silhouette of a much larger creature standing right behind it. "Watashi no Rebaru Yon Superterrestrial Specter to Ebo-Gakunen Roku Superterrestrial Mutation Shinka!" Raito yelled as the card glowed before it transformed into a small energy ball that flew through the air and was absorbed Specter's body, causing the creature's body to glow purple and start to mutate into a more humanoid shape. "Shinka Shoukan! Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon!" Raito yelled as a card slid out of his Extra Deck and he placed it on his disk while the energy faded from this new monster, revealing it's true form. It was a young humanoid figure, male, with spiky white hair and dark red eyes with dark red marks underneath them, tied around his neck was a dark red scarf with a mouth design on the front. He was also wearing a black and red jacket with metal studs on the shoulders over a white shirt with the image of a ghost on the front of it, black baggy trousers and dark red and white sneakers. "Superterrestrial Revenant!" he yelled as the monster gave a small growl as his eyes glowed before a pair of dark blue flames danced around him.
Superterrestrial Revenant DARK Evo-Gauge 24 Zombie/Evolution/Effect [ATK:2400]/DEF:2300
Yuchi gave a small whistle, looking clearly impressed. "Wow, Didn't know that you had it in you." he said as Raito smiled. "Thank you, Now, Superterrestrial Mutation Lab no Kouka Hatsudo!" he declared, raising a hand into the sky as the tubes started to glow. "Woah!" Hiroki yelled, looking around in astonishment. "When I Evolution Summon a "Superterrestrial" monster, I can Special Summon 1 Specimen Token!" Raito explained as one of the tubes opened and a strange pale grey creature crawled out of it. It gave a squealing noise as it laid between Revenant and Invader.
Specimen Token DARK Level 2 Reptile ATK:200/[DEF:200]
Yuchi gulped before Raito raised a hand at Sure Sure Swordsman. "Battle! Superterrestrial Revenant, attack Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Swordsman!" he said as Revenant's eyes flashed bright red before running towards the swordsman with unexplained speeds. Yuchi gave a small breath as Sure Sure Swordsman raised a sword in defence. "Trap Hatsudo! Seven Star Magic - Phobos Barrier!" Yuchi yelled as the card flipped up, the artwork of the card depicting Azura forming a barrier around her and Sure Sure Swordsman as strange Skeleton monsters were trying to break it with very little success. Azura raised her staff, the crystal on the top started to glow a sliver colour before a large barrier formed over her and Sure Sure Swordsman. "When a "Seven Star Adventurer" monster is targeted for an attack, I can negate that attack and if I do, I can add 1 "Seven Star" Spell/Trap from my Deck to my hand!" Yuchi explained as Revenant slammed into the shield, bouncing off of it as he landed back on the field. "I'll add Seven Star Weapon - Sword in The Stone!" he yelled, as the card slid out and Yuchi drew it. Raito raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Guess I'll have to wait to see what it does. Kaado ichi mai settai. Turn end." he said as he placed the card on his disk. A card appeared facedown on the field. Yuchi smirked, placing a hand on his disk. "Let's go! Boku no Turn, DRAW!" he yelled, drawing his card. He looked at his hand and smirked slightly. "First, EXP Spell, Seven Star Weapon - Sword in The Stone Hatsudo!" he declared as he activated the card, Hiroki smirking slightly as he knew which monster was coming next.
A large rock suddenly grew from the ground, trapped within it was a sword with a dark grey handle with a red jewel attached to the bottom of the handle. Azura looked at the weapon and tilted her head before Sure Sure gazed at the sword and cracked his knuckles before grabbing the handle. "Since it doubles as an Equip Spell, I can just equip it to a Warrior "Seven Star Adventurer" monster and it gains 200 ATK for every monster I control, but, I don't think you don't want that." Yuchi said as Raito raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Here it comes!" Yuchi's friends said, Raito's smile widened slightly. "Boku no Rebaru San Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Swordsman to Ebo-Gakunen Nana Seven Star Weapon - Sword in The Stone Shinka!" Yuchi yelled as soon, Sure Sure Swordsman started to glow a bright yellow colour, Azura covering her eyes from the glow as he did. "Swordsman of a billion cuts, unleash your true power and unsheathe thy blade from the stone!" Yuchi chanted as Sure Sure Swordsman's body started to become much more bulkier then before. "Shinka Shoukan!" Yuchi yelled as his monster's light suddenly faded away, revealing the monster's new form as it dragged the blade from within the stone which vanished from sight. It is a tall bulky warrior, cladded with sliver, dark grey and light blue armour with a golden V that sat on the front of his helmet and a dark red cape with a golden trim fluttering within the wind. "Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuichi! Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion!" Champion raised the sword to the sky before pointing it at Revenant and Invader, both getting into battle stances while Azura gazing at the new warrior with stars within her eyes.
Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion LIGHT Evo-Gauge 21 Warrior/Evolution/Effect [ATK:2300]/DEF:2300
Raito gave a small breath as he gazed at the new Evolution Monster. "Hell Yeah! Sure Sure Champion is in the house!" Hiroki cheered, the girls giggling as he did. "Next, Since Sure Sure Swordsman is used as Material for a Evolution Monster, I can target 1 monster that you control and destroy it!" he explained as a phantom image of Sure Sure Swordsman flew over towards Invader. Raito smirked as it flew towards Invader. "Nice Try! Trap Hatsudo! Superterrestrial Tampered Communications!" he said, the card flipping up with the card art depicting a strange insectoid creature tampering with one of the security cameras attached to the wall. "When my opponent activates a card effect that would destroy a "Superterrestrial" monster I control, I can negate the activation and then add 1 EXP Spell/Trap from my Deck to my hand!" he explained as dark red electricity formed around the Sure Sure Swordsman phantom, causing him to jolt slightly. Yuchi gave a small breath while Swordsman smirked slightly as he disappeared. "Eh, At least that trap's out the way. Now, EXP Spell, Seven Star Magic - Shady Chain, Hatsudo! While as an Continuous Spell, It'll keep your monster chained up and make it's ATK/DEF halved, but, since it is also an EXP Spell which means..." Yuchi started as the card appeared before shadowy chains bursted from it. Raito looked down at the card on the disk and raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Evo-Gauge 5? But isn't Grandmaster Azura Evo-Gauge 24?" he asked as Yuchi smirked slightly. "Who said I'm evolving Azura?" he asked as Umeko smiled slightly, already knowing what monster Yuchi is summoning while Raito looked confused. "Boku no Rebaru Yon Seven Star Adventurer - Shadow Rouge to Ebo-Gakunen Go Seven Star Magic - Shady Chain Shinka!" Yuchi declared, Raito's eyes widening as he did. Shadow Rouge appeared on the field before the chains wrapped around her, causing her body to glow purple. "Sneaky assassin that lurks within the darkness, become one with the night and strike down any foe that opposes you!" Yuchi chanted as the shadow of Shadow Rouge started to merge with the shifting mass of purple energy, taking a humanoid appearance. "Shinka Shoukan!" Yuchi yelled as the energy around Shadow Rouge vanished, revealing her new form. She was much older with her skin being a more purple hue and black eyes with dark red pupils. He has dark purple horns that seemed to poke out of the cloak that was draped over her body. She was also wearing a black shirt with dark purple sleeves, black trousers and brown boots with dark brown laces. A pair of shadowy claws bursting from her back. "Ebo-Gakunen Nijuu! Seven Star Adventurer - Shadow Renegade!" Shadow Renegade raised her hands as shadowy blades formed within her hands and pointed one of them at Supernatural Revenant while both hands did a double rock sign, the pinky and fourth fingers sticking outwards.

Raito raised an eyebrow in amazement. "So, You can use monsters in your hand as Material for Evolution Summoning as well." he said as Yuchi smirked. Meanwhile, Umeko smiled as she saw Shadow Renegade on Yuchi's side of the field. "And Shadow Renegade's out on the field." she smiled as Tomo gave a small breath. "Yeah, Yeah, We get it. Your favourite Yuchi monster is Shadow Renegade." she muttered as Umeko looked at her with curious look on her face. "Didn't you say that Grandmaster Azura is your favourite?" she asked as Tomo's cheek flushed red in embarrassment. Yuchi gave a small breath. "Let's do this thing! Battle! Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion, attack Superterrestrial Reverent!" he yelled as Champion gave a small nod before leaping towards Reverent. Raito raised an eyebrow in confusion as Reverent got into a battle stance. "Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion no Kouka Hatsudo! I can target 1 monster you control, destroy it and if I do, This card gains ATK equal to that monster's DEF!" Yuchi explained as Raito's eyes widened. Champion raised his sword to the sky before lightning suddenly fell from the ceiling, slamming into Invader and destroying him. From the rubble, golden energy could be seen which floated towards Champion, engulfing him and his blade in a golden glow.
Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion [ATK:2300 to 3500]
Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion leapt into the sky before falling downwards, Revenant narrowed his eyes before putting his hands in front of himself to block the attack. Champion slashed downward, cutting Revenant perfectly in half. The halves exploded as Raito shielded himself from the blast.

"Next, Seven Star Adventurer - Shadow Renegade attack that Superterrestrial Token!" Yuchi then yelled, Shadow Renegade leapt forwards before launching a shadowy claw towards the monster and crashing into it, destroying it. "Finally, Seven Star Adventurer - Apprentice Azura attack directly!" Yuchi commanded as Azura leapt upwards and fired a stream of green magic at Raito, slamming into his gut and pushing himself backwards.

"Kaado ichi mai Settai! Turn end!" Yuchi said as his facedown appeared on the field. Sure Sure Champion lose it glow as he said that confusing Raito. "Oh, Right. Sure Sure Champion's boost remains until the End Phase." Yuchi explained as Sure Sure Champion raised a thumbs up.
Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion [ATK:3500 to 2300]
Raito gave a small smirk before placing his hand on his disk. "I must say, Yuchi-San, This has been quite an interesting start to the duel, but, we've only just begun! Watashi no Turn, Draw!" he said, drawing his card. "First, Magic Card Resurrection of the Dead Hatsudo! I can target 1 monster in either GY and Special Summon it! Come forth, Superterrestrial Invader!" he yelled as the monster re-emerged from a dark purple portal. "Next, Superterrestrial Invader no Kouka Hatsudo! I can add 1 EXP Spell/Trap from my Deck to my hand!" he said as he added the Spell Card to his hand. "Next, EXP Spell Superterrestrial Mutation Hatsudo! Watashi no Rebaru Yon Superterrestrial Invader to Ebo-Gakunen Superterrestrial Mutation Shinka!" he said as he activated the card. Invader raised his weapon to the sky before glowing bright green and mutating just like Specter. The monster became a disk-shape which slowly started to mutate into a more aircraft-like appearance. "Shinka Shoukan! Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon!" He declared as the energy faded from his new monster. It was nothing like it's original form, resembling a large sliver and gold spaceliner, with two large wings attached to boosters on both sides and pale blue lining going across the machine. "Superterrestrial Cruiser!" he finally finished, the headlights of the machine flaring on.

Yuchi gulped. "A new Superterrestrial..." muttered Tomo as she glanced at the new monster. "Next, Superterrestrial Cruiser no Kouka Hatsudo! Once per turn, I can target 1 "Superterrestrial" Evolution Monster in my GY and revive it! Return, Superterrestrial Reverent!" yelled Raito as the bottom of Cruiser started to glow blue before a beam of light appeared over a dark purple portal, dragging Reverent out of it before the portal disappeared. Reverent was then dropped on the ground, landing on his feet and crossed his arms. Yuchi gulped as he gazed at the other monster. "Next, Superterrestrial Reverent attack Seven Star Adventurer - Sure Sure Champion! Shadow Burststrike!" he yelled as his monster glowed with a dark aura before blasting towards to Champion as a burst of pure darkness, freaking Champion out. Champion swung his sword but Revenant dodged the attack before leaping into the air and delivering a powerful kick to Champion's head, destroying the monster instantly. Yuchi winced a little as he took the damage.

"Next, Superterrestrial Revenant no Kouka Hatsudo! Since he destroyed a monster by battle, I can inflict damage equal to half it's ATK. Shadonix Strikeback!" Raito declared, Revenant snapping his fingers before a shockwave of dark energy erupted across the field. Yuchi jolted as the wave slammed into him, pushing him backwards. "YUCHI!" yelled his friends in a panic, as he landed on his backside. "Ow..." he muttered as he got up again.

"Next, Superterrestrial Cruiser attack Shadow Renegade!" he yelled as multiple sections opened up on the machine before firing multiple rockets at Shadow Renegade who tried to dodge the attacks for a little while before getting overwhelmed by the missiles which completely atomised her. Yuchi gulped as he took the damage from the attack.

Tomo winced a little. "Oh, That gotta hurt..." she muttered as Hiroki raised an eyebrow in confusion. Umeko gave a small breath. "Yuchi..." she whispered as Yuchi gave a small breath. "Wait, He could have attacked Apprentice Azura and inflict much more damage." Hiroki muttered as Yuchi raised an eyebrow before smirking. "You want to see her, huh?" Yuchi asked as Raito smirked and nodded, confusing Hiroki and Umeko to look confused while Tomo couldn't help but give a small smile. "Kaado ichi mai Settai. Turn End." Raito said, the card appearing on the field. "Boku no Turn! Draw!" Yuchi yelled as he drew his card, he gave a small breath before pointing forwards. "Let's do this thing! Battle! Seven Star Adventurer - Apprentice Azura attack Superterrestrial Reverent! Mystic Blast!" he yelled as Azura gave a small confident nod and leaping into the sky. "Wait, What?!" Umeko, Hiroki and Raito all yelled as Tomo raised an eyebrow in amusement, realising what Yuchi's facedown was. Reverent raised an eyebrow as the small mage falling towards him as he gave a small yawn and crossed his arms. "EXP Trap Hatsudo!" Yuchi declared, the trap flipped up almost immediately, the artwork depicting Azura firing a burst of light green lightning at Sure Sure Swordsman and Raito noticed the recognizable EXP Spell Symbol and the Evo-Rank on it. "Seven Star Magic - Thunder Evolution!" Suddenly, a bolt of green lightning engulfed Azura, causing her to absorb the energy from the lightning and start to glow bright purple. "An EXP Trap?" Raito whispered in confusion as Reverent covered his eyes. "Boku no Reberu Yon Seven Star Adventurer - Apprentice Azura to Ebo-Gakunen Roku Seven Star Magic - Thunder Evolution no Shinka! Ancient Powers forgotten to time, tapped into by the Apprentice Witch! As the sparks of the elements converged, the witch begins her evolution!" Yuchi chanted as Azura started to grow larger and taller. "Here it comes!" Tomo said, already knowing what's Yuchi's summoning. "Shinka Shoukan! Ebo-Gakunen Nijuuyon! The Infernal Alchemist that harnessed the powers of the Elements! Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura!" Yuchi finished as the glow soon faded and Reverent looked up just to receive a sucker punch to the face, knocking him backwards. The person who punched him was Azura's evolved form and giggled at him, waving her finger at him.

Raito gave a small smile. "So, EXP Traps are a thing, Interesting." he said as Reverent got into a fighting stance. "And since, the Battle Phase is still on, Let's go, Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura, attack Superterrestrial Reverent!" Yuchi yelled as Azura raised her staff and the crystals on top of them started to glow brightly. "On summon, Azura switches your monster's ATK and DEF around!" Yuchi explained as the crystals glowed brightly and a blast of frost energy was fired from the staff, hitting Reverent and causing it to freeze in place.

"That's not enough to end this duel on this turn." Raito said, Reverent breaking free from the ice. Yuchi gave a small smile as Azura gave a small smile before she pointed her staff at Reverent. "Don't forget that Azura gains 200 ATK for every "Seven Star Adventurer" monster in my GY and Apprentice Azura's Effect on Evolution kicks in, Boosting her ATK by 200 as well!" Yuchi said as five orbs of energy were absorbed into her body, causing a powerful aura to form around her.
Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura [ATK:2500 TO 3700]
"I'll still have Life Points after this attack!" reminded Raito as Reverent leapt at Azura once more. Yuchi gave a soft breath as he raised a hand. "Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura no Kouka Hatsudo! When she battles, I can target 1 "Seven Star Adventurer" monster in my GY and she gains it's ATK! Energy Absorption!" Yuchi declared as his monsters raised her staff into the sky before a phantom image of Sure Sure Champion appeared above her before transforming into a ball of energy that was absorbed into her body, causing her eyes and crystals on her staff to glow brightly.
Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura [ATK:3700 TO 6000]
Raito's eyes widened in shock before he smiled slightly. "Well, then, Guess it's over." he said as Yuchi pointed at Reverent. "Seven Star Adventurer - Grandmaster Azura attack Superterrestrial Reverent! Skyfire Magic Burst Strike!" he yelled as Azura raised her staff as all the crystals on the top glowed dark purple before a stream of dark purple lightning erupted from it, colliding with Reverent and obliterated the undead monster, Raito's LP falling all the way down to 0 before the Holographic Victory Screen appeared.

Grandmaster Azura transformed back into Apprentice Azura and gave a peace-sign before disappearing from view along with the field. Yuchi gave a small smile as Umeko run up to him and hugged him, startling him. "Oh, Thanks, Umeko-San." he said, blushing slightly. Raito walked over to him and smiled. "Good Game, Yuchi-San." he said as he raised a hand out for an hand shake which Yuchi accepted. "Yeah, Thanks, Raito-San." he replied as Tomo and Hiroki walked over to him. "That was so cool, Yuchi-San!" Hiroki said, stars literally forming within his eyes while Yuchi rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Eh, Not the most craziest Yuchi Dueling Moment I've seen." Tomo said as Hiroki, Umeko and Raito looked over at her. "Really?" Hiroki asked, confused. "Like what?" Umeko added in, equally as confused as Hiroki. While Tomo started to describe one of Yuchi's other duels to the others, Yuchi reached into his pocket and checked the locket again, remembering what the phantom from before seemed to tell him and what the door in his dreams looked like. "Maybe..." he muttered quietly as he looked at the locket which gleamed in the overhead lights from above.
A few hours later, Yuchi was standing on top of a hill over looking the entire city, the amulet within his hand gleaming within the moonlight as he gazed down at it. "What is this thing even trying to tell me?" he muttered under his breath as he thought through his memories. Soon, he sighed before getting up and started to walked away. "Eh, It's getting late anyways, and I know the way back." he said as he walked down the mountain. As he soon walked down the street towards his house, He noticed someone walk past him, as they did, everything went into Slow Motion for him. As the speed of the area went back to normal, he looked back to see that who he walked past had vanished, as if they weren't even there in the first place. He sighed, rubbing his eyes before continuing to walk down the street. As he walked into the house, He walked towards the stairs and walked up them. He assumed that his mom was asleep so, he stayed completely quiet before walking into his bedroom. As he stood in front of a mirror, he took a good long look at himself and gave a small sigh. "Why do I feel unsatisfied with myself?" he muttered quietly before sighing once more and going to bed.
Once within his dreams, Yuchi walked through the darkness once more, looking up to see the outline of the gate before the fog around them suddenly blowing away from their area, revealing the design of the gate. It was a large elegant cream gate with pale cyan linings itched across it's design and a small oval shaped hole within the middle. As he walked over to the door, he reached into his pocket and produced the necklace, raising it up and breath slightly. "Let's hope this works." Yuchi muttered as he placed the amulet within the oval shaped hole, causing the teal lights to glow bright and a loud cracking noise to be heard as it opened up. Yuchi gazed through the now-opened door, the only thing visible through it was a bridge that lead forwards. Yuchi gave a small breath before walking through the doorway, The door closing behind him as he did.
