Chapter 3: A commander's deal.
Bumblebee was the leader of his group, they consisted of Lincoln, Lynn, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Leo, and Gnomeo.
Leo: "I guess coming to this glove-themed amusement park was a pretty good idea, aye Bumblebee?"
Bumblebee: "Yeah, Spongebob and Patrick said this was the most exciting place they know."
Lincoln: "Well I'm hoping it's as fun as Dairyland."
Clyde: "Yeah, me too.
That's when they saw the rest of the group giving them confused looks towards them.
Clyde: "Not that we're against the idea of coming here of course."
Leo: "Yeah, just don't let SpongeBob or Patrick hear you say that."
Lincoln: "Got it."
Ronnie Anne: "Anyways, I can't wait to try out the Fiery fist' O pain."
Lynn: "Yeah, I'm so going on that ride too!"
Gnomeo: "Really? Because I heard you used to be afraid of roller coasters."
Lynn: "Hey! I don't do afraid!"
Bumblebee: "Okay, relax guys. You guys head to that roller coaster, I just need a moment to contact the other groups."
Lincoln: "Alright Bee, see ya there."
As the rest of the group waved goodbye before walking away, Bumblebee went over by the carnival wall to try contacting the other heroes on what they were doing. So he turned on his comm unit to contact the first friend that came into his head.
Bumblebee: "Bulkhead, we're on our way to the Fiery fist' O pain. How's your group doing?"
Bulkhead: "Got it Bee, we're gonna be over at the hall of mirrors."
Bumblebee: "Okay, some of the guys in my group chose the Fiery fist' O pain."
Bulkhead: "Oh yeah, my group is really going to wanna try that."
After that, they ended the call. But unknown to Bumblebee, a shadowy figure around his size with red-glowing eyes was emerging from the alley behind him. Before he knew it, the figure grabbed Bumblebee's shoulders with its surprisingly long metal claws and dragged him into the alley.
Bumblebee: "What the!?"
The figure let go of him, and Bumblebee took out his arm blasters pointing them around the alley trying to find who dragged him.
Bumblebee: "Who's there!? Show yourself!"
Just then, Starscream emerged from the darkness on the opposite side of the alley.
Bumblebee: "Starscream?"
Starscream: "Relax scout, I'm not here to fight."
Bumblebee: "Yeah, I'd beg to differ."
Then Starscream quickly came nose-to-nose with Bumblebee giving a snarling expression.
Starscream: "Just listen! Lord Megatron has assigned 3 bounty hunters to hunt down you and your hero friends, and he thinks they're better than I am at the job."
Bumblebee: "That might be what I'm expecting. We've been at war for centuries, and you still haven't managed to destroy us."
Starscream just gave a flat look before he decided to continue.
Starscream: "Anyways, I can't let those hunters become better than I am. So you don't have to worry about me, I'll be helping you and your friends defeat those bounty hunters."
Bumblebee was surprised at this, but also a little suspicious. He wasn't expecting Starscream to be one to offer helping him and/or his friends, besides the time he did before Arcee first found out that he was the one who killed Cliffjumper.
Bumblebee: "Do you seriously expect me to believe that you'd help us take down a group of strangers?"
Starscream: "Yes! Megatron has Lord Hater leading these goons, and even he didn't let me in on their mission."
Bumblebee: "Lord Hater, huh?"
Starscream: "Indeed. So do we have a deal, or not?"
Starscream brought out his right hand for a handshake, and Bumblebee just looked down at it hesitantly. He didn't want Starscream to just rat him out, but he did just hear that they were being hunted.
So he took a breath, then he accepted the handshake with a suspicious look.
Bumblebee: "Alright, but this better not be a trap."
Starscream: "I swear upon the allspark, you have my word."
They moved out of the alley, then Starscream faced Bumblebee again.
Starscream: "Remember, I'll try to stay on the sidelines so that they don't find out I'm behind this."
Bumblebee: "Yeah, got it."
With that, Starscream started walking off while Bumblebee watched him with a suspicious glare. After deciding to put his suspicious thoughts aside, he went off to catch up with his group.
Meanwhile, Fishface, Rahzar, and Plankton were gathered at a table by the snack bar thinking about the bounty hunters.
Rahzar: "So do you think the guys we hired will do good enough at their job?"
Plankton: "They better. Because if they don't, I don't know what Lord Megatron is gonna do to us."
Just then, they heard a beeping noise coming from the radio sitting at their table.
Plankton: "I'll get it."
Plankton picked up the radio - which happened to be a little taller than he was - and spoke into it.
Plankton: "Hello?"
Silas: "Sheldon this is Silas, each of us are in position. The current targets seem to have split up into groups, so we're going to have to split up as well."
Plankton: "Very well, we'll keep in touch."
Plankton ended the call and passed the radio to Rahzar.
Rahzar: "So what did they say?"
Plankton: "The heroes that are here have all split up, so our hunters are splitting up as well."
Fishface: "Ugh, of course it was gonna come to this."
Rahzar: "Maybe we should follow them to give better observation."
Plankton: "I guess we should, but let's not tell Megatron or Lord Hater about this."
Fishface: "Excellent, a secret observation."
Rahzar and Plankton both gave a confused look towards Fishface.
Rahzar: "Are you sure you're using that phrase correctly?"
Fishface: "Don't judge me Bradford, I know what I say!"
Plankton: Enough! Let's just get this over with."
So they went off to do their job, and make sure their bounty hunters did their job well. But what they didn't know was that their army commander was doing a job of his own.
To be continued.
