Zelda and the other champions entered the library to start their search. They gazed upon the rows upon rows of shelves filled with books. Revali groaned at the amount of books they would have to go through.

"And pray tell why I should be here wasting my time?" Revali asked.

Urbosa just rolled her eyes at him, "What exactly are we looking for little bird?"

"I'm not exactly sure but something about his outfit reminds me of something I've read in one of these history books," Zelda answered her surrogate mother as she walked over to a particular shelf and grabbed several large books. She took them over to a table and began flipping through one of them.

"Might as well get started too," Urbosa said as she grabbed one of the books, Zelda began to read. Daruk walked over but didn't try to read the books with his massive hands. Revali just scoffed and sat down and grabbed a book. The group sat there reading for a while. The group flipped through several books before Zelda slammed her book down.

"I knew it," She exclaimed pointing to a passage in the Hyrule Historia she was reading. The other champions all crowded around her to read a passage. Three people were standing around a huge fierce scaled monster with flaming hair. What the two men were wearing is what drew their eyes. A familiar green tunic and hat.

"The goddess and her chosen hero defeated the Demon King with the help of their loyal friend. Throughout the ages, those with the Blood of the Goddess and the Spirit of the Hero have risen to save the kingdom in its time of desperate need yet they did not do it alone, with every rise of the hero there is also the rise of his loyal friend. Together with the princess, they have driven the darkness from Hyrule." Zelda read aloud.

"So wait, there are actually two Heroes who are supposed to help us win the war?" Daruk asked in confusion.

"Why weren't we informed of this before!?" Revali demanded.

"I-I didn't know about this," Zelda cried," There was no mention of another hero in the previous Calamity." She was panicking about why this wasn't known either, was that why her powers had not awakened yet? The man she brought had existed since before Hyrule itself and had met Hylia in person. Hope started to rise within her, maybe she needed the hero with the sword that seals the darkness and this second hero before she could access them. Zelda stood up immediately and started toward the door.

"Your Highness, wait" Urbosa called after her as she and the other champions stood and went after her.

Zelda raced through the halls back towards the room she had left Link, Mipha, and possibly the second hero, the other champions following close behind. She didn't even acknowledge the guards as she raced into the room. The man was sitting up in bed talking with Link and Mipha but glanced over when she threw open the door.

"Ah hello, you must be this time period incarnation of Zelda." The young man had a deep smooth voice and deep golden eyes that seemed to be able to peer through her soul. Zelda realized he had taken off his shirt and Mipha had just taken off his bandages on his torso to change them. He was muscular but on the lean side but what really caught Zelda's attention was the multitude of scars littered all over his torso. There were long jagged cuts that looked like monster claws, sword slashes, and a horrible burn that took up his entire left abdomen. Link cleared his throat and Zelda realized she had been staring at the man's bare torso. She let out a squeak before turning around bright red.

"I'msosorryIdidn'tmeantostareiwasjustlookingatallyourscarsandi-" Zelda babbled before being cut off by a laugh which caused her to redden even further.

"It's fine princess, I'm well aware that my scars can be quite a horrific sight," the man chuckled.

"Right well if you are up to it there are a few things I wish to ask you?" Zelda cleared her throat as she turned the man and regained some of her composure though her cheeks were still dusted pink.

"Well then ask away princess." The man said as Mipha finished wrapping him back up and settled back on the bed he was lying in. The other champions entered the room after that causing the room to be a bit crowded. The man turned and studied the new arrivals. He seemed unsurprised to see Daruk but Zelda noticed his slight confusion when he saw Revali as he glanced between him and Mipha. She wondered what that was about for a moment before seeing him tense up when he locked eyes with Urbosa. He subtly reached for his swords which were lying next to his bed when Daruk spoke up.

"Good to see you up, little guy. I was a bit worried for you." The boisterous goron exclaimed.

The man slowly relaxed and smiled though he didn't pull his arm away from near his weapons, "Thank you for helping me. I am D.L Astra but you can call me Astra."

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Astra." Urbosa stated." But I would like to know how exactly it is that you came to us? After all, voe don't just appear out of the sky often." This caused Astra to snort for some reason unknown to everyone else.

"Well, I suppose I owe you all an explanation and I already told the princess there that I would answer any of the questions she had. So I suppose to start I am the one who is tasked with helping the Hero and Princess deal with whatever darkness is plaguing the land just as I have since the time of Skyloft."

This statement shocked both Link and Mipha who weren't in the library earlier but Zelda cheered.

"I knew it, you are the Goddesses and Heroes' loyal friend mentioned in the Historia that covers the Age of Myth. You have existed since before Hyrule itself."

(A/N): Alright so I'm surprised people actually like this story. I didn't expect 5 followers in the first month but here we are. I also want to apologize this chapter was supposed to be out 2 weeks ago but unfortunately, I had to attend a wedding where my cousin spilled tea on my laptop forcing me to write 70% of this chapter on my phone so I'm sure there will be grammatical errors I will go back and fix when I get my laptop back. Finally, I want to thank OwlPoison and Guest for the reviews I'm glad you like the story so far.
