It took a while for the crew of Lux to make it to the City of Eden. A place where celestials interact with humans while they spend their days on Earth. Lucifer knows that some people may take the wrong idea with too many demons in that place so he entrusts that only Maze to accompany him and Amenadiel while the other demons will look after the ship. As they walk along the docks, there have been rumours spreading among the citizens about a party taking place in the great hall at the palace. Lucifer loves to have a good party but Amenadiel, not so much. "Brother, we do come here to relax and what better than to have a party" "I know Luci, I'm just thinking about Azrael's blade" Lucifer understands what he's thinking. "Alright fine, since we know the blade's actual whereabouts, we can check if it's secure and then be on our merry way. Luckily, it's at the same place as the party so I say that's a bonus" While Amenadiel is glad that Lucifer is aware he knows that he can get distracted so he would keep an eye on him to be sure.
The following evening at the Heavenly Castle which is located at the heart of the City and where the party also takes place. At the great hall, it was filled with humans and angels alike. Among the crowd lies Dan, along with his comrades. They have heard about the Kraken attack and wondering how he survived. Just as he was about to answer, there was a commotion about a certain angel in the front entrance. He wanders towards the sound and notices none other than Lucifer Morningstar along with Amenadiel and Mazikeen. "This is what happens when a celestial enters the building, especially one who is a fallen angel" Because of Lucifer's reputation as a fallen angel, guards were preventing him from entering. Most of them are humans who pledged to keep things in order in the city while the angels take care of much bigger tasks. Dan was about to walk toward him when someone spoke up "What is he doing here" Dan reassured as he went on in this merry way "At least he's not tempting anybody" from which the person quickly snapped back "That's because everyone is worth tempting is here!" Lucifer looked behind them slightly and noticed a familiar face coming towards his direction. "I bet that within one minute, you will put down your weapons" One of the guards went closer with an angry look "I'll take that bet!" Much to the guards' shock, Dan arrived in time to tell them to put their weapons. "What's with you and your timings, man? Just I was talking about the Devil and yet here you are" Lucifer reached out his hand and replied "I guess you should thank me for saving you, again" They both laugh and Dan lets them in. "Hey Lucifer, there's someone that I like you to meet" As Lucifer enters along with Dan, he turns to them and winks at them. Amenadiel enters but the guards refuse to let Maze enter because of her status as a demon. Amenadiel noticed "Don't worry guards, she's with me" One of the guards looked at Amenadiel who gave him a reassuring look and then looked towards Maze. "At least, she leaves weapons here" Maze suddenly reveals her demon blades and points them at the guards which startle them to death. Amenadiel rolled his eyes and motioned them to put them down. Maze did a little giggle as she was only doing it as a joke and placed her demon blades onto the counter. And she followed Amenadiel inside who will make sure that she stays close.
Lucifer and Dan navigate through a crowd Lucifer picks up a glass for a drink. As Lucifer savours his drink, Dan speaks out, "Lucifer, I like you to meet my partner" Lucifer turns to see Dan's partner who is also a woman. "Detective Chloe Decker" Lucifer is left in utter shock and amazed as it's the most beautiful thing that he has ever seen. "So this is the infamous Lucifer Morningstar. I heard a lot of tales about you. The ones that humans say that you are deceitful, selfish even. But what you did to that Kraken, that was heroic. So what are you, Devil or an Angel" While Lucifer was stunned by her beauty, he also couldn't help but start thinking about that question. Dan breaks the silence by letting Chloe have a further conversation but as he turns towards Lucifer to finds that he's not there, again. Chloe looks around to find out where Lucifer has gone off. "Where did he go?" "Lucifer does that from time to time"
Amenadiel and Maze were at the banquet table sampling some treats while they had a chat with some of the guests. Mostly Maze who expresses some adventure as well as some memories from her time in Hell. While Maze talks away, Amenadiel takes a good look around and makes sure that Maze doesn't go too far into her tactics. Suddenly, Lucifer arrives at the scene. "My lord Lucifer, I think we got their trust to go out further into the castle and we can …" Lucifer interrupted immediately "Forget it. Let's just go back to Lux" Amenadiel got confused along with Maze as he spoke out to him "Just like that? Luci what is going on…" He turns around and sees Chloe discussing something with Dan. Amenadiel starts to understand while Maze is still confused. "What? Who is she? What's special about that human?" "Not sure, let's go." Amenadiel leads Maze towards the entrance and she receives her demon blades back. They managed to catch up with Lucifer who was just outside the castle walls. "Lucifer, what happened back there?" Maze asked. Lucifer chose not to respond to the question and went on his merry way. On the rooftops, Gabriel is watching them leave. Emerging from the shadows is Michael. "Cheers to give me a lift, Gabriel" Michael gazed at Lucifer as he left the scene. "Once in a thousand years kind of opportunity, what I'm going to do next, is going to be so easy" Michael then flew off to another part of the castle.
