Chloe and Dan went to a different part of the castle, away from the party to have their discussion more privately. Chloe starts with "The guards are more relaxed now that Lucifer has disappeared. You mention that he does that from time to time. Why's that?" Dan replied "That's a mystery where I don't have any clue," Dan noticed the look on Chloe's face. "Why are you fascinated with Lucifer all of a sudden?" Chloe looked away and replied "I don't know. He's mysterious. From what we heard about the devil, and when I look at him, I just don't see the monster that people claimed he is" While Chloe gazed out and gathered some thoughts about Lucifer, Dan changed the topic. "Anyway, those bandits who attacked me, they were after Azrael's blade" That topic snapped Chloe back to reality and got her thinking "Well, as we are at the top of the Police Department, we know that it's safe here in the city. But why would they go for the blade" "And yet they seem so desperate" Chloe got a bit worried "You haven't revealed the location, did you?" Dan has taken back by those words "What? No, of course not! What gives you that idea?" Chloe reassures him "Because if bandits are one thing, who knows who else is after the blade?" Before Dan could answer, one of the officers arrived who needed both of their assistance. Both of them agree to come along as it could be urgent.
Half an hour later, Michael managed to get passed the guards and he also managed to create some diversions that got some of them to leave. This gives the advantage Michael needed to get close. With one guard left, he masqueraded himself as Lucifer to get closer. As he managed to fool the guard to get close enough, he managed to knock him unconscious. "I love play pretend" Michael mutters to himself as we walk towards the blade. The moment he grabbed the blade, the alarm set off. As he was about to leave, he noticed the security camera at the ceiling pointing towards him. He smiles and then walks towards the exit. Once he heard some guards coming, he went towards the shadows and disappeared. The guards arrived at the scene but all they can find is the blade completely vanished. All of the guards and police officers were on high alert and the news spread all over the city.
Suddenly, Lucifer was arrested by strong angels who put him away in the cell. In this special cell, the walls are so strong that even the strongest angel can't break it down. "Lucifer!" Lucifer turned to where the sound was coming from "Dan! About time!" Angry Dan approached Lucifer who was still in chains from those angels. "Do you realise how serious this situation is" Lucifer responded with annoyance "Do you realise how many times I have heard that today?" Dan suddenly snaps "You betrayed the City!" Lucifer groans in frustration "Uh! Not you as well" Dan yelled angrily "Stealing Azrael's blade when you know what it can do!" Lucifer doesn't yell back but instead explains in surprisingly calm fashion "Detective Douche, out of all the things that you humans have accused me of, out of all the things you can blame me for, this is by far the most ridiculous!" Dan moved towards the TV monitor and turned it on. "Then how can you explain this?" What is displayed on the monitor is what appears to be Lucifer arriving to steal the blade. It even shows Lucifer smiling at the camera when he leaves. After the recording was done, Lucifer left stunned with disbelief "No, that wasn't me. I was near my ship when that took place. There's no way that I… Michael" Dan looked back at Lucifer with confusion. Lucifer clarified "It's Michael, he framed me!" "Lucifer, now you're the one who is being ridiculous" "Dan, it was Michael. He got the blade" Lucifer explained before Dan cut him off "We haven't heard about any traces of Michael since you appeared on Earth so people out there think that you are responsible for that as well. Now, for your punishment …" "Woah, woah, wait. Punishment? I didn't do it! Look, I was going to check if the blade was secure but …" Lucifer realises that it would make the situation worse for himself so he needs to come up with something else. "Dan, you know the truth. You know me" "Do I?!" Dan snapped back with anger "I knew a jerk. Just who are you now, Lucifer?" That question left Lucifer all silent. For he doesn't have the right response to say. And then, Dan asked him a very serious question "Look me in the eye, and tell me. Did you steal Azrael's blade?" Lucifer looked into his eyes, very deeply, and without hesitation, all he could say was "No" Lucifer's answer left both of them in complete silence.
