Lucifer: Legend of the Seven Seas

Azrael's blade has been stolen and Lucifer was framed. Believing that Lucifer was innocent, Dan takes his place. To save his life, Lucifer travels the world to find the blade and get it back before it's too late. Along the way, Lucifer will come across many dangers as well as making a self-discovery.

5. Chapter 4: He could be our only hope

In the city hall lies a council made of the top angels in the city. This includes Zadkiel, Remiel, Raziel, Uriel, Saraquel and Raphael. Lucifer lies in front of them along with strong cuff links as everyone still suspects the worst things that he could do. With many humans and lower angels surrounding the room, becoming an audience around this event, Zadkiel takes charge in trying to get the answers out of Lucifer. "We heard enough from your stories, we ask you for the last time. Where's the blade?!" Lucifer has also grown frustrated with ignorance from the angels who are also his siblings. "Brother Zadkiel, you have been taking your role as the Angel of Righteous very seriously, so forgive me when I say this. I don't have the bloody blade!" Zadkiel along with the rest of the angels stood and said "Very well, on behalf of the City of Eden and in the name of our Father, we will send you back to Hell and make sure you stay down there for all of eternity" Before the guards go to get Lucifer, he also stands up to express out in anger and frustration "Stop for just a minute! In the name of our father? No one knows what he wants. No one in this city, no, the entire world bloody knows because THE SELFISH BASTARD WOULDN'T JUST TELL US! I'M SICK OF THIS IGNORANCE!" After Lucifer finished speaking, Zadkiel motioned the guards to take him away. As Lucifer tries to struggle, he expresses his final attempts to prove his innocence. "Hey! Hey! I didn't do it!"

Before Lucifer can fully be taken away, Dan arrives at the scene and manages to put a halt to everything. Dan walks to the front of the top angels "I demand the right of substitution. Take me in Lucifer's place" Everyone is shocked at what Dan is asking to do. Lucifer looks in disbelief while Chloe, who is also at the scene, stares in deep shock. "Lucifer said that the one who stole the blade is in fact, Michael. And I believe him" Lucifer looks to the side with relief that someone finally believes him. What Dan said next effectively changed his mood to shock immediately "You should send Lucifer out to retrieve the blade" That request caused a major gossip in the hall. Lucifer rushed over to Dan as soon as everyone started discussing. "What are you doing Detective Douche?" Dan turned to Lucifer with a determined look on his face "You claimed that Michael stole the blade. Get it back. He's your brother after all" Lucifer argued back at him "Hey, you don't know what they could do to you if you're in Hell" Dan snapped back "You had my back before, why can't I?" Lucifer is about to respond but one of the angels interrupted their squabble "If Lucifer left the city, we had no idea if he could ever come back. He could go off for any selfish reason. Are you sure about this Detective Espinoza?" Dan steps up while Lucifer remains by his side. "Lucifer either stole the blade, or he's telling the truth and it's with Michael. Whatever the case may be, he could be our only hope" Zadkiel was seen talking alongside Chloe who tried to convince him to think about alternative options. After they are done, Zadkiel turns to face Dan "Detective Espinoza, you do realise that if Lucifer fails to return with the blade, you will be sent to Hell with no means to escape from" Dan turns to face Lucifer with a tiny bit of concern but he refused to change his mind "I understand completely" Zadkiel now knows that he wouldn't be able to convince Dan to change his mind in the matter so it leads him this to say "So be it. Lucifer has 10 days to get the blade back. Release Lucifer and arrest Daniel Espinoza" The guards obeyed Zadkiel's command. As soon as Lucifer is free from the shackles, it doesn't stop him from feeling somewhat down that a good man is in a bad situation because of him. Dan is now under arrest and with one glimpse towards Lucifer, he is escorted by the guards to be taken away for the time being. Before he could leave the room, however, Chloe stopped them in their tracks. "What are you doing, Dan?" Dan replied with a determined look "I know what I'm doing" Suddenly, Dan felt that he should say something before he left "Hey Lucifer!" It caught Lucifer's attention as Dan continued to say "I have faith that you will make it" Dan turned and finally left the room. Chloe is left with conflicted feelings. As she gave Lucifer that look, it made Lucifer feel conflicted but it didn't stop him from leaving the room.
