A/N Okay, could everyone just let the matter of Giles' education and training go? I don't understand why it matters, could people just stop commenting on it, please? Stop pming me? Stop leaving nasty guest comments? It doesn't matter! If you doubt what I have stated read the wiki for yourself. I am not bashing Giles, this is not a hate Giles story, I am not running down his intelligence, I simply said that going by canon, by the Buffy wiki, he's not qualified for the position he had at the High School. That is a simple statement of fact, so please, let it go! Go debate it on a discussion board, blowing up my inbox or comments with it is not the place.
And like I said earlier, apparently I can't win on this matter. If I give him a Ph. D, I'm violating precious canon, if I stick to canon then I'm somehow insulting him.
It is a simple plot point, I need him somewhere else for the story, so I got him a different job.
Rant over. (But I expect the same from everyone else, I mean it, stop pming me on this matter, stop commenting about it and stop with the nasty anonymous reviews. It doesn't matter!)

"How are we going to get out of here?" Willow asked, having given up on trying to cover herself. "We know the general direction to go in, but we have no idea how far we have to go through the Forest to get there. Barefoot. Our feet are going to be a mess by the time we get out of here. And what are we going to do for food and water? I don't know how to hunt, do you? Though I actually feel full, oh, gods do you think we ate something while we were...werewolves? How did we become werewolves?" Willow was hyperventilating again and Oz was trying not to panic either, the normally stoic little guitar player was just as lost as his girlfriend.
"Bite." He shrugged and Willow looked thoughtful as she tried to figure out a puzzle.
"In the movies a bite from a werewolf could do it. Did we run into the werewolf and it bit us? Us both? But I don't have any bite marks, so did we heal? Too many questions, not enough answers!"
Oz looked at his own hand and the finger that just a few days ago Jordy, little teething Jordy, had bitten. The little cousin that was currently camping with his parents, his Aunt and Uncle on their monthly camping and meditation trip into the desert.
"Full moon?"
"Yeah, the stories say werewolves change on the full moon, which was last night, right? Makes sense, werewolves, full moon. As much as any of this makes sense."
"Carson, Sandy and Jordy go camping three nights every month. They're camping right now." Oz reminded his girlfriend, holding out his healed finger. "Jordy bit me just a few days ago, remember?"
Willow looked at his hand and than her own and gasped. "I cut my finger on one of his teeth when I was spreading the medicine on his gums! We washed our hands, because, germs! But it, whatever it is, was already in our systems. Jordy's a werewolf!"
"Carson and Sandy have been going camping every month for years." Oz painting out. "Since long before my parents died and I moved in with them. I think they're werewolves too."
"Why didn't they tell you?! Why risk one of us getting bitten by Jordy? He's just a baby, he doesn't know biting is a problem! We could have taken precautions if we'd known!"
"First question I'm going to ask as soon as I see them." Oz said grimly. "It was careless of them not to have said anything. Okay, granted, supernatural, maybe they're worried we wouldn't believe them."
"Like Buffy's parents didn't believe her about vampires." Willow agreed. "But, werewolves, provable! But dangerous, too, I guess. I don't remember anything we did last night and we might have hurt someone. They might have worried they'd hurt someone if they tried to prove it. Plus, worried, wondering if we'd think they're monsters and try to kill them. Someone might think we're monster and try to kill us!" Back to hyperventilating again.
Oz grabbed her and held her tight. "Not our friends." He said softly. "They won't think we're monsters. They'll find us."
Willow took several deep breaths and worked to calm down, nodding. "Xander and Buffy especially won't think we're monsters or try to hurt us! They'll be looking for us. We need to find water." Willow started making a plan. "We go north, if we are in the National Forest south of Sunnydale, that's our way out of here. And we look for water and our friends will be looking for us and find us."
"Good plan." Oz took her hand and now that both of them were calming down, changed the subject. "You look good naked. Way sooner than I thought I'd get to see you, but I appreciate the view."
Willow went bright red. "Oz!" She froze as a new thought occured to her. "If we were werewolves last night, did we uh?" She waved her free hand.
"Maybe." He shrugged. "Nothing we can do about it now. But wolves mate for life. I'm okay with that."
Trying not to hyperventilate again because it was just so much to deal with, Willow held Oz's hand tightly in hers and they started making their way north, back to Sunnydale and their friends.
