A rewrite of my old story. An assassination Tsunade ordered resulting in the death of Uzumaki Naruto has caused Konoha nothing but problems. The war against Iwagakure bankruptcy the loss of Wave Spring and Demons have cost Konoha millions and thousands of troops. Now a suspicious client is looking to hire them for protection against the leagendary assassin Shade.

Chapter 8

ANBU HQ The Torture and Interrogation Department. Women's locker room the next morning.

Anko stretched a bit she had a long day at the office, braking spirits and cutting people up. "Excuse me Anko". She heard and saw Tenten standing there. Anko scanned her with a neutral look for a moment before smiling insanely at her. "Well well one of Konoha's new bad bitches gracious me with her presence. What's up kid?". Anko asked making her frown and sit beside her. "I wanted to ask you about someone". She informed as Anko started sharpening her knife. "Shoot". She ordered Tenten sighed. "I'd like to know more about Uzumaki Kushina". Anko stopped staring at her for a minute. "So Lee told you one of those stories eh?". Tenten was a little surprised when Anko grinned at her. "Who do you think told him those stories? After Naruto was born old man 3rd made it a point to hide most if not all information on her". Anko informed with a grin.

"Why though Kushina was an amazing Kunoichi, fuck she makes Tsunade look like a joke". Anko laughed at that genuinely finding Tenten statement amusing. "That she was and she was also one of the most caring and compassionate person I've ever meet". Anko said then frowned sadly. "Trust me plenty of us girls we're furious about that. Especially Tsume and Mikoto but the old bitch denied him his Heritage, I honestly didn't know who he was before that either. Stupid all of us I guess blonde hair blue eyes a friendly demeanour with his mom's attitude, and still our dumbasses couldn't put two and two together". Tenten was actually embarrassed herself with plenty of the others. "What happened after she saved you guys from Miru?". She asked the question that was pledged her making the snake mistress chuckle. "What didn't happen yelling screaming threatening bargaining passing the blame, but the boss lady had plenty of allies herself and proved to be smarter than they all would of given her credit for". Anko explained telling her the story about that day.

Flashback.

Council chambers.

Kushina stood in front of the council with those she saved those who joined her and of course The Yellow Flash himself. Both parties were having a massive glare off though it was mainly between The Second Kyuubi Jinchuuriki and everybody's favourite person Danzo. "Uzumaki Kushina you stand accused of treason how do you plea?". Danzo asked getting a glare from Hiruzen and especially Minato. "Danzo are you the Hokage of Konoha? The leader of this village in which we all must bow and answer to?". Kushina asked simply getting a glare from him as she tapped her foot on the ground waiting for the obvious answer. "No". He said simply getting a nod from the redhead. "Exactly so would you kindly sit there and shut the fuck up while the adults talk that would be great". She ordered simply with a sarcastic tone getting plenty of snickers from her supporters especially from her blonde love and purple haired number one fan even Hiruzen had to hide as amusement.

"Apologies for Danzo's lack of anything resembling tact Kushina-Chan, but what you did does need plenty of answers". Hiruzen informed making her shrug. "I'll answer every last one with complete honesty Hokage-Sama, but I won't apologize for what I did I hope you understand?". Hiruzen merely nodded he met Kushina's grandfather years ago, he was more surprised she didn't get more of his fuck you attitude and was thankful for it. He even suppressed a chuckle remembering the story about how Uzumaki Diego gave Hashirama a blackeye when he proposed to lady Mito. Mito intern beat her elder brother and leader of the Uzumaki clan in return. He still remembered the two siblings sharing a laugh about that.

Shaking his head of the distraction he got into his business demeanour. "You were pulled off active duty during your interruption of our prisoner exchange meeting with orders not to go into Kirigakure's territory. Especially for a one woman rescue mission only to find out you weren't in fact alone at all". He looked at the future successors having a glare off of their predecessors. Though the Nara's looked more like it would be too troublesome to do so, while Haishi was severely losing his glare off with his father. "This is true the brave men and women behind me saw their people were in trouble and decided to do something about it, you could say the will of fire burned brightly in them today something your honoured council should take notes on". She praised making her entourage grin at their annoyed clan heads.

"Sounds about right, though I'm a little surprised about Shikaku he's normally not that motivated, like I am". Shikaroi stated lazily and dryly to the amusement of the judged but not so much the judges. He much like his son and future grandson had the same pineapple hairstyle, only a little longer and gray. Though instead of a goatee he had a full beard he was one of the last true original counsellors from the villages birth. He was also almost unnaturally brilliant even for his own clan, but just as lazy when off duty like the rest of them as well. "Nara-San are you cracking jokes during a trial?". Koharu asked making him shrug tiredly. "Considering this whole thing is a joke I guess I'll say yes". He admitted getting glares from some of the others and smiles from just as many.

"I mean sure we told her not to do something and she did it anyway, I'll agree with you on that but she did succeed and even beat up Mizukage Miru. Which broke a good chunk of Kiri's morale in the war suspected fake or not, so I don't see why you're all complaining about it". He continued still getting glare's that he couldn't give any less of a damn about, even if he wanted to. "The fact of the matter is she was ordered and disobeyed, her position this village is to be a…". Kushina cut Danzo off right then and there. "Loyal and productive member of it old man which I was, I was loyal enough not to bargain with the enemy as he kept sending us the heads of our people to frighten us into submission". She said calmly then continued before He could say another word.

"Will I claim it was all for Konoha no will I say it was all for revenge for the annihilation of Uzugakure? The answer is still no. What you saw as disobeying we saw it as rescuing our comrades. In that same regard what you consider as commanding we consider as cowardice". She stated with an angry glare. "Now I know you all to well old man you're easy to read, you would've loved to continue seeing the heads of our honoured dead presented like a fucking gift to the Hokage". She accused with blatant disgust angering him. "All so this war could continue you don't care about either side, Danzo you don't care how many sacrifices are made to keep this village alive. The only thing I hate more than a warmonger is a warmongering pussy". Everyone's eyes want wide was shock though one-side had smiles joining it.

"How dare you?". Danzo shouted angrily Kushina glared harder scaring the room especially those who knew what she really was. "When was the last time you threw a punch old man, got your hands dirty with the rest of us. When was the last time you strategized to preserve our forces instead of simply throwing bodies at the enemy? You're supposedly a commander and so far I'm not fucking impressed". She said with such venom she could poison the room. Hiruzen wanted to clap his hands for her but thought better of it. "Today I saw a 13-year-old girl who survived for nearly a month in active battle. Abandoned by the so-called elites you backed as true Konoha. Who still risked life and limb to free the prisoner standing behind us today prisoners that would not have been exchanged, totally uncaring of the more skilled warriors that are at my back right now who could've saved them instead". Anko was surprised that the praise surprised even more and plenty nodded backing that statement up, even those who still didn't like her but grudgingly did so.

Whether they liked her or not there was still respect that had to be given. It touched her heart a little more when Kurenari and The hero in front of her did it with a smiles on their faces. "She did that herself the people behind me chose to help instead of capture me. They went behind enemy lines to bring back our troops. What the fuck have you done in the last 40 years except jerk off and bitch that nobody's fighting, Hell we're currently at war now and where are you commander? Sitting here doing nothing". She said with such blatant insult the Warhawks felt smacked right in the pride. When his mouth opened she raised a hand. "Don't fucking interrupt me boy". She ordered making his mouth close against his will. Hiruzen wanted lessons on how she did that while her husband grinned.

"And before you go and insult the Hokage, I've seen him on the battlefield more than once. He earned the monicker God of Shinobi from Grandpa Hashirama. Every time he does he probably be out there now if you guys didn't bog him down with fucking paperwork, Because you can't even take a piss without a 10 page form telling him about it". The Hokage wanted to jump up and tell her to keep preaching the good word, hell he was more then sure the other four Kage would do the same. He almost saw his successor but was already leaning towards Minato. Though he kept the idea on ice if nothing else for his own amusement.

Seeing the Nara Akamichi and Yamanka heads grinning helped the idea as well. "What I'm trying to say honoured council is that if one of your clansman one of my countryman One of my comrades is in danger. I will be the first to disobey orders and get them". She stated with complete certainty making those who followed her in the bottle nod that they back her up again. It left those in charge the top brass of their village silent and wide-eyed. The only one not moved by the declaration was Danzo. "I'm going to have to say I see no evidence of treason". The Nara head declared as usual a Yamanaka and Akimichi had his back. "I disagree entirely with this". Danzo stated angrily again getting nods.

"Well that's entirely unfortunate for you Danzo". Shikaroi stated getting everyone's attention. "Because all things considered if you accusing her of treason that means you're accusing my son and the others of treason, and trust me that would be a very bad idea on your part". He stated with very obvious threat actually making them shake. While his fellow clan heads had a glare off of each other. Nara Akamichi Yamanka against Inuzuka Uchiha and Hyuga and the elders while the old Aburame head was quiet as usual till he decided to brake his quiet streak. "Considering I value duty and loyalty to the hive that is Konoha, I must vote that she is innocent". The Aburame clan he announced neutrally getting nods from four other clan heads. "As Hokage I second that so motion carried Uzumaki Kushina I find you innocent of all charges just please listen to reason next time". Hiruzen asked making a shrug. "No promises". She said with a grin walking out of the room with her team and two new students.

End of flashback.

Tenten was absolutely stunned this lady was a role model to Kunoichi if there ever was one. The look made Anko laugh it was the same look she and everybody else had that day. "When she took me on as a student I was legitimately surprised she actually meant it". Anko said sincerely getting her attention. "Those six months studying under her with Kurenari were some of my best, then she had to stop for a while when she got pregnant with blondie. I was the only one she told". She admitted Tenten as she frowned more then chuckled. "She always said you need to be a little more observant Kiddo, guess she was right took me a while for my dumb ass to recognize her son". Tenten frowned sadly waiting for a punch or something but never got one.

"You followed orders Kiddo they weren't the best orders in the world but they were order's. When my squad abandoned me in the middle of Kiri they weren't ordered to they just wanted to get rid of me". She informed tiredly all of a sudden getting her attention. "You can say I was the kid's predecessor, for bigots to justify their bullshit whining. Guess now that he's gone I'm back to basics". She sad with a rare bit of sadness shaming the weapons user. "I heard about Kakashi's little rampage when we all got gassed. He spoke very highly of you on Naruto's old protection squad, you did your job properly no one else did". Anko shrugged the complement off. "Sure I did and Naruto was so adorable back then". Anko said with a chuckle. "Used to call me Viper Lady, his cute little term of endearment". She said with a small smile how would he have known about her past.

"Who knew all those times I fought against the mobs and jerk off assassins for him, that I was defending what would basically be my little brother, guess that's why I was so affectionate around them in my own way anyway". Tenten was wide eyed as Anko grinned at her. "When the bastard abandoned me, just like Lee and the kid I know that fucking orphanage well. Along with the bastards in it". She said with a mirthless chuckle. "They were good people before the old fucker, then I got my cute little ass kicked out at all of 12 years old. Kushina was the only mother I actually ever had kid. Minato would even defended me full force whenever somebody fucking talk shit to me". She said frowning at her. "When she told me she was pregnant I was genuinely worried about being abandoned again. So like an idiot I ran from Konoha I ran as fast as far as I could". She explained shaking her head about that day.

Flashback.

A mountain peck overlooking Konoha.

Anko was sitting down legs to her chest hugging them to herself tearfully. She thought it was only a matter of time till the novelty of her presence would were off, around the Namizaki's. Minato just made Hokage and was almost always busy when not taking the time to check his wife. Her new and beloved Sensai couldn't train her now and with out them around, the glares returned. Fearing abandonment again her thirteen year old brain thought it would be smart to run away. Genin may be treated like adults and Anko unfortunately already has blood on her hands from the war, but one must realize they are in fact still vary much children. Thought right now she was most likely being hunted as an adult missing nin, a lovely thing for her many bigots to hear she imagined.

So the purple haired Konoha Viper was waiting, waiting for the hunters waiting for the arrest the trial and the death sentence with no one to mourn her. Then again she doubted who ever found her would give her even that much. Tears now fell completely from her eyes now before jumping up, after hearing a tree get destroyed. "ANKO WHERE YOU?". She heard worried close to crying and above all vary angry Kushina shouted. Anko was wide eyed when another tree exploded and a 5 month pregnant red head emerged. She was looking around with murder in her eyes till she saw Anko and charged her. Anko closed her eyes tearfully waiting till she gasped being latterly crushed in a hug. "Where the hell have you been? I've been worried sick Y'Know". A crying Kushina demanded an answer not realizing Anko was turning as purple as her hair.

"Did Orochimaru try to take you? Was it that mark? Did someone hurt you? Trick you in to leaving? Where you chased out? Was it Danzo? Answer me so I can hurt the the bastard responsible". She demanded frantically till she loosened her grip and Anko gasped a vacuums worth of air in. "I…I RAN AWAY OK". Anko cried out then froze under Kushina's glare. "You did what now Mitarashi Anko?". Kushina now asked calmly with a razors edge in her voice, Anko was petrified till Kushina's eyes softened in understanding. She kneeled down hugging her again but gently. "I'm not replacing you Anko". She assured Anko's eyes widened in shock at Kushina's quick deduction. "I'm having a baby but it doesn't mean I'll forget you, I'll never forget my favourite student and neither will your little brother Y'Know". She assured with a motherly tone Anko hugging her back crying she believed every word despite herself.

"But I ran away from Konoha I'm as good as dead anyway". Anko said shaking with worry now Kushina grinned. "Do you honestly think I told anyone you left? Give me some credit kiddo". Kushina assured shocking Anko more, as she chuckled and stood up. "Don't worry about it everything's going to be just fine". Kushina said with complete certainty Anko was still worried. "How can you be sure though?". She asked Kushina looked both ways and waved her over to listen closely as she whispered. "Between you and me I'm sleeping with the Hokage". She informed with a grin Anko blushed with complete embarrassment Minato and Kushina were basically her parents after all, her look made Kushina laugh as they walked back to the village. Anko already knew to never tell Jiraiya her Sensai said that.

Konoha.

Walking in they saw Minato with his arms crossed not looking happy at all, this mornings ANBU patrols were behind him. Kushina was silent and Anko was worried. "So Genin Mitarashi is there anything you'd like to report?". Minato asked with a frown the ANBU behind him were grinning Anko was silent making him sigh and shack his head. "Always watching out for your comrades as usual". He stated confusing everyone even Kushina. "Hokage-Sama?". The captain asked confused when Minato turned and glared. "Jonin Uzumaki-Namizaki brought something to my attention yesterday would you all like to hear it?". The shaking ANBU nodded. "You see she was expressing concerns about our security being linked to camaraderie". He started confusing everyone more.

"That your bigotry stupidity and utmost disregard for the will of fire could put Konoha and all who live in it in jeopardy". Everyone was shocked and wide-eyed. "And your complete laziness in your patrols over our village was so unbelievably disgusting a Genin could sneak out, and depending on said Genin, they could even leave completely unbothered". They we're shaking profusely while the little purple haired girl watched stunned. "So I asked Genin MItarashi to sneak out to test these wild theories, at a random time and place even without my knowledge I spotted her in a second did any of you?". Kushina was trying her damnedest not to grin at their terrified looks.

"You are all about to say no but I know for a fucking fact there's a yes behind those masks. Doesn't matter what your mouth says regardless either answer annoys me to no end". He said dangerously Kushina found it totally hot. "Hokage-Sama we can explain". The captain pleaded Minato raised his hand. "Do you guys hear that?". The ANBU looked around on high alert hand on their weapons trying to impress their leader again. "It sounds an awful lot like a certain patrol squad is going to be on bathroom duty for the next six months". They all paled at the thought. "And not just at HQ The public toilets Hokage's tower and I believe the Inuzuka's need help at their kennels again". They sagged completely defeated. "I thought so you can go now". Minato ordered as they walked off heads door.

"Sorry Anko". One said ashamed before walking off surprising her as Minato walked over took a knee and glared. "Don't ever put us through that again, do you have any idea how worried we were young lady?". He ordered scoldingly making her shake and nod tearfully. "Good now then we're getting some ramen and you're paying for Kushina-Sensai yes?". He asked Anko paled Kushina devours ramen and has only gotten worse since she got pregnant. It made Minato laugh as he patted her head and dragged her along with Kushina.

End of flashback.

Anko chuckled fondly at the memories while Tenten sat there stunned. "Sensai basically cleared out Ichiraku's supply for a week, so Minato payed everything off. Said I'd pay him back with my mission money but never took a dime". She said with a small frown she missed the two so much. "Lord 4th did that to protect you? Wow". Tenten said uncaring about how childish her statement sounded Anko merely nodded. "When you're the couple that terrified not only Iwa but Kiri and killed the Shade you can basically do anything". She said with a shrug. "The who?". The bun haired Kunoichi asked Anko sighed she personally smacked Hiruzen for hiding that piece of history. "It was Kushina's final fight and it was against a god among Assassins not even old man 3rd could say that, they he apparently fought him to a standstill". Anko said shivering remembering those cold gray eyes.

"He was the one that killed Dan Tsunade's boyfriend. He also started the tradition of Kazekage's being assassinated by ending the first two he butchered the first Mizukage and killed the second Raikage though rumour had it he had something to do with the 3rd Raikage's death to". Tenten's eyes were wide with shock no one's that good as to kill possiblely 5 Kage's, and Konoha's legendary silver general. Anko merely nodded to her that there was. "What kind of Jutsu's did that monster have does Konoha have any of them?". She questioned Anko shrugged. "If he had any he didn't use them, he was normally strictly stealth and Taijutsu to my knowledge anyway making him thee old school assassin. Hell Guy won't say this out loud but Shade was one of his inspirations when it came to Taijutsu anyway". She stated shocking Tenten more.

"My Sensai the youth is everything Guy was inspired by an assassin of all things?". Tenten said she couldn't believe it Anko chuckled. "Yeah when his father used the 8 gates to beat the 7, Guy studied the scrolls over and over again seeing if there was a way to survive it". Anko informed Tenten thought about it. "And Shade was that guy who could". She deduced in shock Anko again merely shrugged. "So the legend go's I saw him use them, though it was during his fight with Minato and Sensai. Considering he was killed in that fight can't exactly prove or disprove it". She said with a sign then frowned. "Only proof we're survivor stories". She informed with sadness then continued before any questions were asked.

"After the Uzumaki massacre Hiruzen ordered an investigation. They found more then enough shell shocked survivors, all screaming about the Uzumaki's god of death". She started before getting annoyed. "You nosy bitches can come out now". She announced Tenten heard plenty of the other Kunoichi flinching annoying Tenten, as plenty of the locker mates walked out embarrassed. "Sit shut up and listen your going to hear, about the greatest Clans last stand. The Sannin's second defeat and finally Kushina's ultimate fight". She stated as they sat down or stood there by they all were listening. "Obviously those survivors I mentioned earlier were the fucker's who told us what happened, the Uzumaki side though came from Kushina's own mouth". She stated everyone nodded as she started.

Flashback. Uzugakure.

Kumo and Suna were there two of the big 5, with enough Kiri because even though Madara controlled the Kage he didn't control all their top brass something that annoyed him. He planned to send an unfortunately to late letter to mark his Shinobi as missing nin, for obvious reasons. An eight year old Kushina watched with the other child from the Uzumaki watch tower in the centre of the village, though there was already an evacuation going on she wanted to stay. She glared angrily at the army while tears fell from her eyes. She wasn't stupid she knew what was happening to her family, the fighting hasn't stopped in months right now she counted 57 days of nothing but screaming crying fighting and death she was so tired, she barely slept because she was up all night worrying and crying. Uzugakure itself had provision's to last a hundred years didn't mean the family wanted to use it all. What will happen when the fighting started. "Kushina". She heard and turned to see her father. Kenji despite most Uzumaki's was a rather large man muscle wise anyway. He wore the dark blue near grey armour of his clan, with a near golden war-hammer over his shoulder decorated with seals his clan was known for.

Behind him was a scary looking man with just as terrifying and glaring grey eyes, whether he knew he was glaring or not she didn't know. He was wearing pure black boots gloves pants and sweater with cloth mask coving the lower half of his face, his hair was combed back and black as night only adding to the living shadow. Though from what little she saw the uncovered part of his face showed his was slightly pale, probably from a severe lack of sun light in this man's life. Around his waist was a black belt with two dark hand Bowie knives holstered to it, another larger one went from his left shoulder to his lower right side with pouches on them. Finally a weapons holster on his right leg, the man was ready to kill something even to the young Kushina that it was even an average thing for him.

Kushina stared at the man nervously his glare had a slight nearly unseen amusement in them now. "Kushina this is an old friend of mine, if something happens to me and grandpa I've asked him to take you to Konoha to see grandma Mito". Kenji explained the man merely nodded silently. "What do you mean if something happens, we're Uzumaki's". Kushina protested her father smiled a bit. "Kushina never forget just how proud I am of you". He assured kissing her forehead before getting up and looked at the masked man. "Ready?". The man shrugged and walked out with him. Kushina watched them go teary eyed pray for her families safe return.

Uzumaki Daigo was waiting at the gate when his son and The Shade joined him. "I'd rather fight". Uzumaki Ren the future Karin's and Nagato's own grandfather said angrily Diego nodded sadly, placing a firm on his shoulder. "I know brother but you are the fastest of our Clan. Our messenger birds are dead so we need you to run to Konoha and tell Mito". Diego ordered with understanding Ren looked at his calm clan head and older brother he angrily shook before looking down. "Fine but you better stay alive and save some of those bastards for me". He ordered Diego couldn't help but grin. "No promises". Ren chuckled sadly both men weren't stupid at the odds against the clan. Ren placed a hand on the one Diego put on his shoulder in reassurance.

"I'll use every bit of energy I have I'll get to Konoha and tell Mito even if I drop dead at the gate right after". He promised as he ran and leaped over the gate and ran Diego could hear the enemy giving chase. He looked to the cloudy sky as the rain started falling it was an omen to the old man praying his little brothers safety. Though he knew his little brother wasn't going to go down with out a fight and not before completing his mission. "Be safe little brother". He mentally prayed before finally acknowledging the two men especially Shade. "You're fighting with us lad?". Diego asked Shade shrugged. "I'm feeling sentimental today". He morbidly joked to only his own amusement.

"He's an asshole most of the time but he'll help, he's even doing it for free the sweetheart that he is". Kenji said grinning at the glare that terrify most people. "Just remember Shade he's my man". Shade glared harder at Uzumaki Aya who grinned making the the family chuckle. Aya looked exactly like an older Kushina with a grey vest and black shinobi tights. She had a sword strapped to her back the legendary blade that would one day be Kushina's. Shade merely sighed. "I should of killed you after all Kenji". He grunted making them laugh confusing the enemy outside who heard them. "Probably but I'm charming and my wife wouldn't of let you leave alive". He assured Shade looked at the grinning Aya. "Fair enough where Aya's concerned anyway". He said dryly the Uzumaki's shared one final pre battle laugh.

Diego grinned at that then frowned with the rest of them. He knew like the rest of his family this would be their final battle he wanted to go out there himself an fight to save his family, unfortunately for him his children are a stubborn as he is. "Well let's get this going". Shade ordered Diego looked at his people that prepared either, pulling swords practice swinging their hammers, cracking their knuckles activating seals on their bodies. His Kunoichi's had their chakra chains swinging around while the men's seal's glowed brightly. He took a deep breath and glared. "Uzu". He said banging a hand on his chest plate. "UZU". That other Uzumaki's shouted doing the same while Shade adopted a hard look, and pulled out some Bowie knives.

The three villages heard this and looked at each other confused. "UZU…UZU…UZU…UZU". They keep hearing along with the sound of banging. "UZUMAKI'S". Diego should amongst the war cries of Uzu. "FOR UZUGAKURE FOR THE OUR CHILDREN, FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR CLAN, WE WILL FIGHT NO KONOHA NO BACK UP BUT WE WILL FIGHT. THIS IS OUR LAST STAND WE'LL SHOW THOSE BASTARDS WHO WE ARE". He shouted Kushina heard her grandpa and was in tears as an elder an near hundred year old man named Kaito grabbed her. Kushina's was forced to being pulled and lifted away as she cried. Diego turned and kicked the gates open what they saw was a hundred vary pissed Uzumaki's and a rather calm man in black. "UZU UZU UZU UZU UZU". The kept shouted and banging on their chest plate's. One of the Uzumaki's had glowing tattoos that were actually seals, he blasted a electrical current fire and wind. Kenji prepared his hammer Diego pulled his sword while to their absolute shock, the masked man activated the legendary gates. "CHARGE". Diego shouted as they ran in to battle.

The three nation army were immediately regretting following their Kage's orders as they saw the red haired army ready to kill. The first to realize this was Kiri's former Samahda holder, who received Kenji's hammer to his head shattering his skull. "Lightning style: Raijin's wrath". Diego shouted raising his hand shooting lightning in the air that lite up the sky, send lightning crashing down shocking a quarter of the force. Madara watched wide eye from a safe distance his Sharingan was vary much active, he played to copy as much as many justus as he couldn't. To his absolute shock though he knew he didn't have the chakra to pull off the Uzumaki's abilities. As annoyed as it was to him he patted himself on the back for his brilliant idea to take out the clan. Shade's gates was also something that gave him a massive feeling of excitement though he couldn't figure out way. He just really wanted to fight him but felt until his ultimate goal was bright to life, it wasn't a good idea it made him feel both annoyed and weak.

"GATE OF WONDER OPEN". He heard as an explosion of power knocked the Armies off the feet and Uzumaki's slightly back. Diego merely grinned Shade blasted through the arms with punching neck snaps and flying kicks. As Uzumaki's kept moving forward but we're taking losses themselves. The only difference is, where the three villages didn't seem to care right now about their comrades deaths. The Uzumaki's were were getting more and more murderous for the lost of their battle fallen family. The Raikage A the second and his Jinchuuriki brothers Big B with Tarui the Two tails. A the second unlike his grandson was normally an extremely mellow individual.

Though always prepared for a fight he preferred talking the problem out, the Jinchuuriki like the rest of Kumo were shocked that A would not only work with the Bloody Mist but help in a genocide. It shocked his people especially his brothers. Though to their shame they couldn't protest they demanded answers but they were loyal to their Kage. This wasn't as simple as Jutsu stealing hell up until a week ago Kumo was negotiating an alliance with Uzu, it was A's idea and he back everything up it hurt his once proud brothers to be apart of this now. Right now though they had to fight but envied the one tail Suna enforced that he was to dangerous, when the truth was he was a pacifistic monk. He straight up refused to commit to this violence getting imprisoned for it, they more envied his courage then anything and were justifiably pissed that the Kiri Jinchuuriki apparently didn't need to be there. Not knowing Madara was having them conditioned right now.

Big B was a thin muscular dark skinned man with radish red hair and a clean shaven face, with a pair of steel knuckles with four spikes a piece on them. He ware the cloud white coat with match pants and sandals with a black muscle shirt, his headband was tied neatly on his forehead. While Tarui was a blond haired bearded light skinned skinny individual wearing a black sweater pants with cloud white vest. He held two spears in each hand. The two Jinchuuriki despised this losing their comrades whether or not they felt the same way. Kumo until the raise of Killer B still had plenty of bigots in it after all and wouldn't know the proper bonding ritual till then either. "Bro why are we even doing this?". Tarui asked B looked at A with the same question in his eyes. A glared in away the two never saw from the mellowest of the A's. "You keep asking me that you're my Jinchuuriki so do what you're told". He demanded the two were wide eyed something was definitely wrong with their brother.

They looked at their comrades dying to his complete lack of care and glared. They'll fight if nothing else then to save a few lives then beat some sense in the the Raikage afterwards. They charged in Big B punched and Uzumaki killing him instantly while Tarui stabbed two more. Big B throw a punch parrying Kenji's hammer who glared angrily. Big B frowned apologetically at him. They jumped away from each other Big B next to his blond brother while Kenji joined his wife. Shade appeared swinging his knife Tarui blocked the attack getting his spear sliced Shade grinned dodging Big B's punch and jumped back.

Diego stabbed another and joined them. A and the Kazekage glared entering the battle joining the Jinchuuriki. "Haven't killed a Kazekage in awhile and I get to add a Raikage and Jinchuuriki to the list, I'm going to saviour your blood tonight". Shade said with a glare that they returned. "I've heard of you Shade right? I thought the stories were bullshit, what are you doing with the Uzumaki's?". Big B asked making him grin Tarui was wide eyed, but on guard. "I heard two Kage's the seven swordsmen and plenty of valuable Shinobi with vary high prices on their heads, were coming to bother a buddy of mine. So what was a man to do but come by and collect your heads". Shade said with a blood thirsty look in his eyes making them shiver.

"And here I thought you really were feeling sentimental". Diego said making him chuckle. "Never take a job personally Kenji, I'll get back to business when this is over". Shade assured he nodded in thanks as the two groups faced each other. The assassin was calm while the Uzumaki's glared angrily. "I…". Was all Tarui got to say before getting stabbed by Aya Big B turned to swing getting intercepted by Shade. The Uzumaki and Assassin guided the two unknowing Jinchuuriki with their fights away from Kage's and leaders leaving the four there.

Mean while with the elders and children. Kushina was continuing to fight the elder Kaito. "Kushina that's enough". Kaito ordered as she fought against him. "I have to fight I have to help mom dad and grandpa, leave me alone you cowered". She shouted he slammed her in to the wall. "Don't you think I want to fight to child?". He shouted at her getting her attention as tears fell from his own aging eyes. "The elders aren't leaving to escape we're going with you because we're the most expendable". He informed shocking her as more tears fell. "My son and daughter are fighting right now Kushina. I want to fight I want to take their place by Kami I do but I was ordered to stay with you and my grandchildren, if the enemy is waiting we we well sacrifice ourselves for you the future of our clan". He enforced Kushina's eyes widened heartbroken. "I'm sorry". She said tearfully he went to hug her but Kushina moved and ran back. "KUSHINA COME BACK". He shouted but the red haired royal kept running she needed to help.

The run to Konoha.

Ren was bleeding badly he hand several Kunai in his back as Kumo Kiri and Suna chased him. He turned throwing Kunai with such force they were basically invisible, and with the same amount of accuracy they impaled the shinobi through the chests killing them instantly. Unfortunately there were plenty more then them. "Fuck I need to shack these bastards or…". He turned grabbed two shinobi by their throats snapping them, he then threw them at their allies with explosive seals. They corpse exploded killing several more, Ren was thankful he decided on bomber seals for his hand tattoos. "Bomb seals are a dumb idea eh Diego?". He mentally thought with a grin before returning to his run. He couldn't stop he was bleeding but that could wait he needed to get to Konoha.

The battlefield.

Diego crossed swords with A while Diego was destroying puppet after puppet. "These stupid things stop playing with toys and fight like a fucking man". Kenji ordered getting a glare from the Kazekage. He waved his fingers and the puppets started reconnecting and continued their attack. "Why are you doing this A we were working on trade between our nations, why are you apart of this all of a sudden?". Diego demanded struggling with A when he noticed something. A's eye were calm almost to calm even for him and despite his glare they were nearly dull as if he was in a daze. "You don't know what you're doing do you". He asked dodging he stab and elbowing him in the face.

"Shade Diego their being controlled". He shouted eyes still on A unwilling to take them off the Raikage for even a moment, it's normally how the stupid get stabbed after all. Big B heard him with Tarui Aya Diego and Shade. "Doesn't matter with them trying to kill us right now". Shade said angrily flipping Big B over his shoulder and was ready to stab him. Big B caught the knife wielding hand. Tarui throw one of the spears making Shade duck and head butt the downed Big B to get loss. While Aya punched Tarui back raising her blade to him. "If that's true what are you fuckers going to do?". She demanded Big B and Tarui looked at each other frowning.

"KUMO RETREAT". Tarui shouted but Kumo was to busy killing and dying to hear Diego's words. "HE SAID RETREAT". Big B enforced getting glares. "We're not abandoning Raikage-Sama you cowards". The two were wide eyed they looked at A who was fighting hard but like Diego was getting tired it was clear, one of them was going to die soon. "I'm sorry I can't abandon my brother". Tarui said ashamed throwing his spear hitting Diego in the back allowing him to get stabbed in the stomach. Big B's Aya and Kenji were stunned Shade glared Diego coughed up blood, and with his final breath stabbing A in return who punched him to the ground holding his wound. "You bastard". Aya shouted stabbing Tarui before getting grabbed by Shade, who had to race against Big B's electric rush with single Lariat. "T". Big B said worried for his brother. "I'm fine I'm already starting to heal". He assured.

"AAAAAHHHHH". Kenji shouted swinging madly destroying puppets and changing Suna shinobi. The Kazekage jumped to A he activated poison gas pipes obviously uncaring of the loses the army would take. Shade was prepared the others weren't when the Kazekage turned and got stabbed by someone releasing his grip on the puppet's, the parents were shocked and worried it was Kushina. "Die you bastard". She demanded then vanished before A could slice her in two. Now in Shades arms he threw the screaming Kushina across the battlefield in to Aya's arms. "Gate of Death OPEN". Shade shouted exploding with the god like power the final gate gives before taking its duo.

The Jinchuuriki tapped in to the tenets power before getting slammed across the field. The injured Kazekage was now missing a head courtesy of Shades knife terrifying Suna. "Now I stop playing nice". Shade said angrily as Kenji viciously punched A in to a wall. "Controlled or not you bastards are going to fucking die, no one harm's my baby girl". Kenji shouted Kushina was in more tears seeing her family being slaughtered around her. Aya wanted to yell scream hug and kiss her baby in a morherly way, praise her for stop the gas attack smack her across the face and scold Kushina for running in to a battle all at the same time, but right know she kept her child behind her as she fended of the bastards attacking them.

The Jinchuuriki's were becoming more animalistic they were completely red, with tails swinging around. Tarui had to stop at one a tail more and he as good as dead from releasing his beast while Big B was at six. Shade didn't bother staring them down or talking that would be unprofessional to him. Instead he changed in avoiding their strikes and punched both hard in the stomach, knocking both in to the a wall. He vanished creating a fine red mist around the battlefield eviscerating the enemy forces. While the Jinchuuriki followed swing and trying to kill him making Shade grin they were taking out Suna and Kiri annoying Madara, before a blurry knocked both down. Kenji swung his hammer destroying A's sword he swung again but another figure jumped in. The young man took Kenji's hammer straight to the jaw but didn't appear effected by it. Kenji glared knowing the teen. "Of course the pussy would hide behind his own son ". Kenji said in disgust making A third frown he grabbed the hammer braking it over his knee.

He then used his electric rush nearly getting Shade. The assassin glared appearing next to Kenji. "Uncles that's enough I got this besides this guy's on his last legs". Tarui and Big B released their cloaks tiredly in huge amounts of pain, as Shade took a knee for a moment. "Looks like the death gate claims another victim". Tarui said breathing a sigh of relief he didn't know he was holding the two didn't have a connection to their beasts after all. "Hee hee Hahahahahaha". Shade laughed making the two Jinchuuriki and A go wide eyed with Madara the brainwashed Kage and the armies. "It takes more then the gate of death to kill me boy". Shade said with a terrifying glare making the Uzumaki's grin.

"I am the Shade and all of you are going to die". He vowed as he powered up again the surviving Uzumaki kept their charge for one final stand. Shade moved passed A the Third and the Jinchuuriki they heard blood spilling and a gasp they turned and there eyes widened. A the second's threat was slashed out Shade turned to kill the third his knife couldn't penetrate the younger man. "Umm". Shade said bending backwards avoiding the swing and stabbing A again scraping the blade across his chest not even leaving an indent. "Interesting". Shade said avoiding a Larriott from behind. Kushina was terrified. "SHADE". She shouted getting his attention no but the Uzumaki's saw how tired he was. Aya kissed Kushina's forehead tearfully. "Go". Shade immediately grabbed Kushina without hesitation and ran as she cried out for her mom and dad they turned and faced the enemy.

Konoha.

Ren entered the gates covered in blood Kunai and spears sticking out of his back. "Get Hokage and Mito-Sama now". The gourd ordered catching Ren as he fell to his knees. Minutes later Mito appeared her eyes wide in tears at the sight of her little brother. "Ren". She shouted running over to him as he coughed up blood. "Uzu…being attacked". He informed with his last breath Kyuubi chakra surrounded Mito as she snarled angrily. Danzo and Hiruzen were the first two to charge in with her as she bolted through the gates. Being fallowed by anyone else around at the time.

Uzu.

"I have to help them let me go". Kushina demanded Shade stopped slamming her in to a tree. "If you do all you'll do is die child". He informed angrily making her tear up. "One day you will have your revenge I assure you of that, till then though you're nothing but a hinderance". He harshly continued Kushina looked down in tears. "Can we at least check the others". She nearly begged Shade glared but nodded.

Uzu exit.

Kushina was crying over the bodies of her clansmen the elders and children slaughtered, with a few missing just as many Kumo Suna and Kiri surrounded them. True to their word it looked like the elders dove in to battle with a blood fury while the few bodies of the young, were hit from a distance by Kunai and crossbow bolts. "I should of stayed I should of help, I can't do anything right". Kushina said crying more Shade sighed they heard a Kyuubi howl terrifying Kushina while Shade was calm. "Mito's here". Shade informed as explosions and screaming was heard. "WHO ARE YOU". They heard and saw Hiruzen there glaring at Shade he returned it. "No one child". The 30 year old assassin informed the 25 year old Hokage. "Now you have a choice Kushina stay with me and learn the art of killing to get your revenge or go to Konoha". Shade informed shocking the two.

"Kushina-Chan?". Hiruzen said in tears worried sick for the child. Kushina looked at the assassin then at the bodies. "Dad said you'd take me to Konoha". She said Shade nodded. "And I will but I'm giving you the option regardless". He informed she looked down at. "All of this happened because I didn't listen". She said tearfully. "You didn't start the invitation and you would of died if you stayed here". She looked at Hiruzen tearfully the at Shade. A red and blood covered Mito appeared with a red eyed glare terrifying Kushina and Hiruzen. "Kenji and Aya?". Shade asked tears fell from the demon woman's face. "No". Kushina said tearfully. "Look at your aunt Mito this is what they'll make you in to". Kushina looked at Mito scared making more tears fall from the elder Uzumaki.

"I have to". Kushina said sadly Shade merely nodded in understanding. "Go then but just so you know child, my charity stops here". He informed shocking her. "He's an assassin Kushina killing for money is all he knows". Mito stated making him grin. "At least I was around not that you can relate, and as you can see I'm leaving empty handed". Mito was furious as Shade walked off. "I hope we never meet again child but if we do give me everything and more". He ordered vanishing in to the shadows.

End of the story,

Tenten and the others were shocked beyond repair as Anko sighed. Plenty were in tears. "Why did Shade do that?". Ino asked Anko shrugged. "Business I guess Shade was the most ruthless freelancer out there, legend says the bingo books were to terrified to put him on there, hell he was apparently the first hunter when the damn things first came out". Everyone was stunned. "So he was what 8 back then". Uzuki Yugao stated Anko nodded with a chuckle. "Yep the fucker made Kakashi and Itachi's raise in ANBU and six and 12 look like nothing special. "Even Kushina herself had no idea why he fought with the Uzumaki's, it was something to do with her father". Everyone thought about it.

"Word was he made his first apprentice during the clan wars, selling both sides information that goes double for Senju's and Uchiha's". Everyone was stunned. "Did he have a clan?". Kurenari asked Anko simply answered with. "Pfft". And a shrug. "How should I know some thought Keys others Rain just as many thought the fouth circle of hell given his love of profit over anything else". They were kind of scared of these ghosts stories now. "Then just before that the friendly spar of Gods". Anko informed confusing everyone as she grinned at Tenten. "This was why Guy was so fascinated with Shade, him against old man Hiruzen". Everyone was stunned. "I still remember the stories to old man 3rd fought the Shade, decades ago it's called the friendly spar of gods his old good for nothing teammates were there to". Anko said when they noticed someone and saw to their surprise Koharu was there.

"That it was child we were and it was fucking terrifying". She said uncharacteristically swearing shocking everyone in the locker room as she sat down. "So get to it". Anko ordered making the older women nodded. "We were all of 25 years old at the time Shade was slightly older but let us know it. Kept calling Hiruzen young man". She said with a chuckle. "He was apparently operating since the clan wars at 7 though made a name for himself at 8. Hashirama and Tobirama-Sensai along with Madara and Sarutobi Sasuke, once hunted him down for recruitment, he was about 12 at the time couldn't find the slippery fucker". She stated shocking everyone completely even Anko. "Where he come from what clan he represented and who trained him is a mystery that still pledges me to this day. Still he was someone everyone wanted on there side. As Anko told you he was rather good friends with Uzumaki Kenji Kushina's father". She stated surprising everyone more.

"Before you ask Hashirama investigated it till Diego knocked him out again. The Shade wasn't an Uzumaki hell Kenji himself was a target as well till somehow he and Shade hit it off. He was extremely charismatic". She informed with a chuckle. "But why would Kushina kill him then?". Hana asked Koharu shrugged. "Shade was a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Still he was an honest one he was trying to kill Minato even though he was Kushina's husband. He never held grudges or sentimentality towards those who had nothing to do with them". She stated shocking everyone in the room as she started her vary first time meeting Shade.

Flashback. A month after the destruction of Uzugakure.

A 30 year old Shade was walking around with a scroll full of money. He was wearing his assassin outfit. He sensed something and turned to see the former Team Tobirama. "Shade". Hiruzen said when he nodded Hiruzen's teammates were terrified. "The new Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen. To what do I owe the pleasure?". He asked Hiruzen grinned. "Just happened to be in the neighbourhood, and I remembered your disrespect towards Mito-Sama". He answered Shade chuckled. "So is this business or competitive?". Shade asked with a grin the 3rd returned. "A fight to the death I imagine". Hiruzen stated Shade shook his head. "I don't kill unless payed to call it a friendly spar. Of course if you do try to kill me I'll have to return the favour". Hiruzen grinned throwing off his robes. "Fair enough I need to test myself against the Kage killer. So I'll be going all out". He informed gleefully his teammates never saw him like this Shade removed his knives.

"Open 4th gate". Shade exploded with power blowing Hamura and Kuharu away Hiruzen smiled exactly. He summoned his monkey staff. "Come on you can do better then that". Hiruzen mocked Shade grinned. "You need to earn it young man". The 25 year old Hiruzen chuckled and charged Shade who dodged his open palm strick. Shade spun his knife returning with and underhanded stab that Hiruzen blocked. The two exchanged knees to each other's side's Hiruzen grunted Shade grinned. "You feel pain kid…". He throw Hiruzen over his shoulder. "I on the other hand don't". Hiruzen grinned launching a leg up the Shade avoided but moved back. Hiruzen kicked up taking the Sarutobi monkey style. "Guess I'll just have to hit you harder then". He informed with a grin making the assassin chuckle.

Hiruzen pulled out his Bo-Staff activating his rarely seen Sage mode. Shade grinned activating the 6th gate. "Careful another two gates and your a goner". Hiruzen informed making Shade grin. "I survived them once before boy I can do it as many times as I need to". Hiruzen and his teams eye widened in absolute shock. Hiruzen then chuckled swinging his staff Shade dodged bringing his leg up for a kick to the face. Hiruzen lend backwards Polevaulting himself in to Shade for a double kick Shade took the hit barley moving grabbing Hiruzen's legs flipping him. Hiruzen flipped and landed on his feet then did a back flip bringing his leg down Shade moved kicking his exposed back, Hiruzen rolled back to his feet with a grin.

"Hashirama-Sensai once told me he hunted you with Madara Tobi-Sensai and my father for recruitment. So far though I'm not impressed I figured the mythological Assassin of old would have some more grit to his step". Hiruzen jested Shade chuckled. "If it makes you feel better I'm no where near impressed myself. For a supposed God your skills are lacking to much paperwork not enough action". Shade returned making Hiruzen glare with a grin. "All or nothing then". Hiruzen stated Shade nodded in agreement. Hiruzen made clones of himself. "Combined elemental release: Great Element execution". Hiruzen shouted spitting fire wind and water while electricity and earth were shot at the masked man. "Interesting open 8th". Shade said as a blast of chakra and an open palm strict blasted the attack away.

Hiruzen and Shade took a deep breath Hiruzen put everything in to the Jutsu and the Gates, still tired Shade out. "Well that was something you're a regular Professor kid". Shade complemented a little winded Hiruzen chuckled tiredly. Koharu and Hamura were stunned. "So the rumours were true you can survive the 8 gates". Hiruzen said Shade shrugged. "It hurts like hell but yes never the less though I'm impressed Sarutobi, when that bounty of yours is high enough I'll come by for a rematch. For keeps this time of course". Hiruzen grinned at that. "Looking forward to it old man". The Assassin chuckled and walked off Hiruzen did the same. "Hiruzen we can't just let him leave". Hamura said angrily Hiruzen sighed. "I'm to tired to continue so be my guest if you want to stop him". Hiruzen offered they froze making chuckle and continue on his way.

End of flashback.

Koharu laughed and the pale terrified looks on everyone's faces, she could hole heartily relate toe them. "Why didn't Mito tell anyone she knew the Shade?". Tenten asked Koharu shrugged. "As you all know a girl has to have some secrets hers just so happened to be Shade". She said with a sad tearful frown. "Besides you didn't see the end of the Uzumaki's Danzo's humanity or Mito-Sama's depression I did". She said getting everyone attention.

The Uzugakure aftermath.

Hiruzen walked in to the battlefield Kushina in his arms hugging her tightly. Danzo had a bunch of dead Kiri Shinobi and Kumo shinobi tied up and executed. He had a massive smile on his bandaged face and a bloody sword in his good hand. The other shinobi were terrified of him right now. "Danzo". Koharu said stunned as he chuckled. "Bastards had it coming for a long fucking time. Especially Kiri". He said then his face immediately composed itself in to a neutral almost dead look. "Now let's clean this up burn them". He ordered Koharu and Homura were in tears but nodded. He saw Kushina in Hiruzen's arms and some how frowned more. "A survivor". He stated an Suna shinobi moved back in tears. "The demons handler the Shades monster". He shouted terrified Kushina was in tears as Hiruzen hugged her even tighter. "Kill it or he'll come back THE SHADE OF DEATH WILL KILL US KILL IT". She shouted Danzo took his head clean on his body with a swing making Kushina flinch. "Quite". He ordered the corpse but was vary interested in Kushina now. "The Shade?". He asked calmly Hiruzen nodded frown at his old friend.

"Leave it alone Danzo". Hiruzen ordered sadly Danzo shrugged. "Take prisoners and kill and useless survivors". He ordered his men who nodded silently and roamed around. Mito glared while Hiruzen frowned silently. "My lady don't give me that look this is exactly why my initiative was founded after all". Danzo ordered Mito glared harder walking over to him. "You know what will happen to my niece Danzo if you ever harm her I'll fucking kill you". She threatened Danzo remained unmoving it was actually scaring everyone but Mito. "Duly noted my lady". He assured angering her more with a tinge of sadness remembering what Danzo used to be like". She looked at Hiruzen who nodded and fallowed as the original Root got to work. Kushina saw her parents bodies and bursted in tears as Hiruzen tearfully hugged her tightly and moved to get her out of there.

Everyone looked down tearfully while Tenten frowned though nothing fell. "No one dare mess with Kushina especially us after meeting Shade first hand. We had no idea what would happen. Besides I wasn't as big of a bitch as I am now back then". She said with a chuckle surprising everyone. "Then like Anko said it was the second war over Uzugakure. The birth of the Sannin as well as their losses, at least with Tsunade-Sama and Jiraiya". She continued. "Little Nowaki-Kun Kushina's surrogate big brother and Dan. Nowaki wasn't paying attention and hit a tripwire and Shade was the one that killed Dan". She informed with a frown. "Believe it or not I spent the night comforting Kushina". Koharu said tearfully as she told the story.

Flashback.

The silver General was leading us forces in to Kumo. When Jiraiya's heard from a prisoner Shade was heading towards them. At top speed Jiraiya ran across the battlefield felid. "DAN". Jiraiya shouted jumping and pushed Dan away taking a slice to the side. Jiraiya grunted getting up and throwing a punch Shade dodged grabbed the hand and braking it and the elbow. "Out of the way". Shade said annoyed kicking Jiraiya in the side braking his ribs launching him in to a tree. Dan swung his trench knive at Shade who grunted. "Pathetic". He mocked and slashed Dan's chest and stomach in an X formation. Dan coughed up and spilled blood everywhere. "NOOO". They heard making Shade turn Tsunade swung her fist aiming to destroy Shade chest, the assassins merely vanished with his job done. Jiraiya sat there tearfully as Tsunade tried and failed to save her lover, and yell at him for not saving him to begin with.

The end of the war.

Tsunade was drinking heavily crying and shaking seeing the blood that didn't watch off. "Nii-Chan". The Genin Kushina said softly Tsunade looked at her little sister crying more. "I can't stay here". She stated Kushina looked at her tearfully as Tsunade hugged her tightly. "Neither should you please Kushina come with me". She begged Kushina hugged her back in tears. "I can't Konoha won't let me you know that, please don't go". Kushina begged crying. "I'm sorry but I can't stay". She said getting up in tears. "PLEASE ONEE-CHAN". Kushina cried out as Tsunade took Shizune and left.

End.

Tenten had a glare on her face pissed at Tsunade. "And Kushina-Sama actually managed to kill this guy?". Yugao asked Anko nodded proudly. "Drove him back more then once to even without the Kyuubi saw it more then once myself". Anko said stunning everyone as she frowned. "I was there for the last bout the last Uzumaki against the devil himself". She said shaking a bit. "I wondered what happened second hand reports only tell you so much. Never mind the difference in opinion". Koharu stated Anko nodded. "I was the bastards apprentice I survived in Kiri alone for a month but that, that was when I found fear". Anko stated shaking as she started.

After the Iwa Kumo and Kiri war with Suna Taki and Konoha..

During the third war with Iwa Kiri and Komo Minato cemented himself as the legendary Yellow Flash and the obvious choice for Hokage. Unfortunately though other lesser villages didn't like the fact Konoha remained on top. Even other allied villages like Taki hoped Konoha would at the vary least be knocked down a peg, given they have a monopoly on contract's in the surrounding territories so pulling their meagre resources together, they hired the Shade. Suna was asked to contribute but the Third Kazekage refused Suna's alliance with Konoha was basically keeping them alive. So any traceable act of betrayal could destroy them though he wasn't above keeping quiet on the subject either, since his own Diemyo preferred dealing with Konoha as well to the desert villages annoyance. Like the Kazekage's before him the Third wasn't above letting a third party pay for a solution and take the blame if it didn't work.

Now while Minato was taking the time to perfect Kakashi's Chidori and help with Anko's Taijutsu. So he could ditch his job for a bit they three stood the face a black and grey haired man in a mask with two knives in hand. Even Anko and Kakashi though teenagers at the time were still surprising petrified of the man. "Kakashi Anko run". Minato ordered eyes on Shade who shrugged. "Children are against my professional code give them another 10 or so years". He assured Minato nodded in thanks for that. "I SAID RUN". He shouted making the two jump but reluctantly comply the ran to the trees, but remained watching at a safe distance Pakun was sent to tell Hiruzen while Anko's viper went to Kushina.

"Can I finally have your name at least?". Minato asked Shade shrugged. "Names are for friends boy". Minato glared but was calm he threw a dozen of his legendary Kunai. "This old trick come on Minato". Shade mocked annoying him. "YOU". They heard making Shade grin as Kushina appeared angrily. "Kid how's life?". Kushina glared hard at the calm assassin. "I'm ready to give you everything old man". She stated shocking and confusing Minato and the kids, Shade grinned. "Don't disappoint me then". He ordered removing a familiar looking sword making Kushina eyes widened, as he tossed it to her. "You're just like Kenji forgetful". Shade mused as Kushina pulled her blade scanning it holding in her tears and glared.

"Nawaki?". She asked Shade shrugged. "Wasn't mine but I know the guy who did". Kushina nodded. "Dan-Onii-Chan". Shade nodded. "A the third?". Shade grinned everyone's eyes widened. "Pissed about daddy dearest after finding out he was being controlled and mad that I didn't care. Was hoping for a rematch he didn't plan to harm you that I know of, but Kumo's rather parasitic when it comes to other people's things but then again who am I to talk? He wasn't the brightest of his family either". Shade said with a chuckle. "Just a little special something in his drink he would of won if not for me". Everyone's shivered both those who were there and those listening. "Did you give the information about Miru?". Minato was shocked with Kakashi and Anko again Shade nodded. "I said you'd get revenge kid". Kushina nodded in understanding and begrudging thanks. "Why are you after me Shade?". She asked upfront Shade grinned. "I see your potential kid it annoys me to see Kenji's daughter as a mere housewife to a plagiarizing Kage". Kushina glared angrily at that.

"So I don't want to spend the rest of my life killing for money, I want to be a mom with the man I love and have grandchildren to spoil rotten someday, doesn't mean for a fucking moment I can't still kick ass with the best of them". Shade chuckled and nodded in understanding. "Fair enough kid. Still if you do what's right today this'll be our last meeting". Shade promised Kushina calmly nodded. "You took my brother-in -law ruined my sister nearly killed Jiraiya and have been trying to kill my husband for a while now. But you did help my clan and saved my life honestly old man I don't know what to think of you". Kushina said calmly Shade shrugged spinning his blades.

"Shall we?". Kushina and Minato nodded Minato vanished in to a yellow flash, Shade tilted his head slightly avoiding tbd strike to it. He turned and tried to knee Minato who vanished again. Shade sighed looking at Kushina as Minato appeared and disappeared. "He needs new tricks". Shade informed jumping and went to kick Minato in the face Kushina appeared to block with her sword glared and charged moving Shade back. Everyone was stunned at her speed while the masked man chuckled. Kushina went for a stab the Shade defected punching her in the face knocking her down. "Rasangan". Minato shouted Shade grabbed the hand kneeing him in the stomach.

"Fuck off boy". Shade ordered smacking him away. Kakashi and Anko were shaking Kushina held her own slicing Shades chest armour making him jump back. "Open 7th gate". Shade said as an explosion of power shocked everyone but Kushina. "Ok you furry fuck WAKE UP AND PAY SOME RENT". Kushina mentally ordered angering her tenet who complained. "FINE IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS SEAL I'D". Kushina cut the link pissing the Kyuubi off as red chakra surround her. Minato was worried for his love. "What's Sensai doing?". Anko asked stunned Kakashi was to terrified to answer his Sharingan was going crazy, he had to cover it.

Two tails waved around Kushina yet she appeared normal readying her blade. "Only two tails to my seven gates I'm insulted". Shade mocked with a grin that Kushina had to return. "It's all I need". She mocked in return charging Shade clashing blades with him. The force shattered his Bowie knives shocking him before he grinned. "Open 8th gate". Kushina was pushed back as 4 tail emerged. "KUSHINA". Minato shouted worried as Hiruzen appeared kneeling from the force. "Stay out of this his mine". Kushina ordered blocking Shades kick fly in to a rock. "Did that bastard actually get stronger?". Hiruzen asked angrily surprising Minato. "RRRRAAAAOOORRR". Kushina Kyuubi roared running in and tackling Shade in to a few trees and in to Konoha's forest.

Shade was seen jumping high in to the air only for red chakra hands, to grab him and slam him back in to the ground. Shade flew back flapping and landed on his feet and punched Kushina hard in the face. Launching her back a fifth tail emerged. "THATS FUCKING ENOUGH". She mentally shouted stopping at exactly five annoying her inner demon. "For a first time I'll admit your handling it well". Shade complemented Kushina glared making him chuckle. "Your anger then he is?". Kushina nodded making laugh before dodging. "Did he just laugh at a five tailed Kushina?". Hiruzen asked shivering with Minato.

Kushina swung expertly as the dodging Shade, with his hands flat he caught the sword. Holding for a kick to Kushina's stomach swinging the sword around Shade grinned and Kushina. "My turn". He charged at a Kushina who docked his swing giving him an uppercut to the chin the he dodged with a spin to take her head, she turned and punched him hard in the stomach Shade gasped. Flying back gold chains grabbed him. "GET OVER HERE". She shouted pulling him back for an uppercut to the stomach Shade hit the ground as Kushina caught her sword. Shade coughed turning to remove him mask to cough up blood. Putting it back on he grinned. "Impressive". He complemented Kushina glared going for a stab to the chest Shade kicked the blade then Kushina's face pulled a knife from his boot and stabbed her in the chest.

Minato's eyes wide it tears he charged Shade angrily Kushina glared giving open palmed slaps with both hands to Shade ears disorienting him. "Aaaaahhhh". He shouted punching Shade hard in the face making him stumble slightly then gave and upper three the stomach, and one to the cheek. "RASENGAN". He shouted hit Shade in the chest throwing him in to a tree. Shade stood back up and glared making a strange hand sign. "RED DRAGON". He shouted push his hands forward a red version of a Chinese luck dragon emerged speeding towards them. Minato grabbed Kushina a flashed away. As the beast of energy destroyed the forest Hiruzen grabbed Anko and Kakashi and ran saving the two.

"KUSHINA". Minato shouted worried she grinned and kissed him. "I'm fine". He sighed in relief. "Fuck you were hot". She said making him blush as Shade appeared annoyed. "Stop hitting on your man in the middle of a fight kid". He ordered making her grin and stand up. "All or nothing". Shade nodded to this using his Red Dragon. Kushina deactivated her Kyuubi cloak. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITHOUT MY POWER YOU'LL KILL US BOTH". The Kyuubi shouted. "Relax trust me fur ball". Kushina ordered calmly. "NO". He shouted making her mentally shrugged. "Fuck you then". She stated cutting the link Kushina made lightning fast hand signs. "Uzumaki Secret release: WRATH OF THE ANCIENTS". She shouted Shades eyes widened.

"RED DRAGON". He shouted before he gates stopped making his dragon vanish. "Dammit". He said annoyed then sighed as he stood there waiting for it surprising everyone. A shining light surrounded Kushina she blasted it at Shade who unblinkingly watched it coming, it hit him hard burning blasting him away. It destroyed a good chunk of the forest creating a large slash into the earth, Shade laid there coughing and beaten badly. Minato looked at his wife and nodded in silent understanding she walked over.

"Ready old man?". She asked Shade chuckled and nodded standing up with a broken leg. He fell Kushina grabbed and supported him surprising all but Minato. "What's she doing?". Hiruzen asked Minato sighed. "Putting him down and laying him to rest I guess. He was there for her in a way and we both know who'd be interested in his remains". Hiruzen merely nodded in sad understanding.

An hour later.

So off Danzo's root got there just in time to see Kushina looking at Shades body. She was holding something in her hand. With a sigh she throw it the vile broke catching the body in a green flame, disintegrating it to ashes. Kushina returned with a solum look walking right in to Minato's arms. Danzo and other Shinobi were waiting. "It's done". She informed Danzo's man appeared whispering in his ear internally angering him. Anko and Kakashi ran up and hugged Kushina in tears making her chuckle fondly and walk away with them. "Danzo do anything say anything think about anything involving my wife they'll still be talking about what I did to you twenty fucking years, aM I clear?". Minato asked if with a glare shaking even the root. "Crystal Hokage-Sama". Danzo assured calmly as Minato walked away.

Everyone sat there silently with Anko for a moment. "Danzo's spy confirmed Kushina burned the body, all thing considered Homura and I were the only happy ones at that meeting". Koharu stated surprising everyone as she shrugged. "Tobi-Sensai did make a Jutsu to bring people like him back. If you forgot images if the needed samples were available". Everyone shivered at the thought of an undead Shade. "So did Tsunade ever pop up to thank her?". Tenten asked everyone saw how angry she was born shook their heads. "Bitch". Was Ino's statement before getting up and joining Tenten. "Thanks Anko and I'm sorry". Tenten apologized Ino nodded before walking out of there together. The Kunoichi knew exactly what they were going through they themselves felt it. Kushina a Kunoichi's personal goal has a son they never did anything for who also didn't ask for anything in return. He didn't ask to be Hokage he was earn the right to be, he was someone they beat tortured or ignored. Only Anko the big sister neither knew he had was there, they knew they'd now glare at the two for doing what they tried countless times to do all because of a name. They were left ashamed when Anko and Kurenari left.

Hokage's office.

Tenten walked in to Tsunade's office with a glare, Ino followed her worried. "Tsunade I want to see the sword of Uzumaki Kushina". Tenten demanded coldly surprising the two. "Why exactly?". Tsunade asked making her glared. "I want to give to Mitarashi Anko, her most loyal student and daughter". She demanded Tsunade was tense. "It's…". She started. "If you fucking say it Uzumaki or Konoha property with bullshit excuse after everything Kushina and Naruto did for you or Jiraiya has it I swear I'll fucking stab you". She threatened ANBU jumped down Ino pulled her knive while Tenten glared dangerously. "Bring it you lack lustre child beating bitches". She challenged Tsunade her hand on the desk. "STAND DOWN". She ordered everyone looked at her.

"It's in the Namizaki estate it has seals, only an Uzumaki-Namizaki can get through it. That means only Minato Kushina and…Naruto could enter. Jiraiya wasn't around to get registered in time". She sadly informed. "Jerking off in the hot springs probably". Ino accused Tsunade glared. "Looking for me". She defeated the two glared angrily. "We know everything Tsunade, so we know he was wasting his time". Tsunade looked down in tears as Tenten shrugged. "I'm getting close to the drunks level I'll get in the house eventually". Tenten stated Tsunade shot up with a glare throwing her desk. "NO ONE GOES IN THERE NOT YOU NOT ME NOT FUCKING ANYONE". Tenten stood straight with Ino. "He's dead because of us Tsunade because of you and Jiraiya. I'm not letting any useful weapons scrolls or whatever else that can save Konoha lives gather dust because you're now feeling sentimental, over the sister and nephew you abandoned". She stated Tsunade got in her face dangerously Tenten was Danzo's levels of unbothered by it.

"Get the fuck out of my office now". She ordered dangerously making her shrug turn and walk out with Ino, with no respect shown. "I'll get Shika to collect any research documents on the shield". Ino assured. "Think he'll help?". She asked Ino thought about. "Kakashi saved our asses with FTG as stupid as he was to hide it. It more then proved it's use". Tenten thought about it. "We'll need to keep it quiet till we can justify it to the councillors". She stated Ino nodded. "Awfully Danzo sounding of you two". They turned and saw Koharu frowning at them they glared making her grin. "Why are you fallowing us?". Ino asked dangerously getting Koharu's unhidden amusement.

"Listen here kid I was first drew breath during the clan wars, I saw more blood and death in an hour then you'll hopefully see your hole life". She started with a grin. "At eight i was apparently old enough to risk life limp, and threats to my dignity like most foolish things in those days, killed my first man at that age two. At twelve I was on a team with two Hokage a genus and a god. I was seventeen in the first war lost my brother and Sensai and I fought. I was twenty-nine in the second war and fought. Forty-eight in the third and guess what fought. Sixty-five during the Oto-Suna invasion and I fucking fought, I ran with some of the most underhanded and cagey masterminds and bastards Konoha ever had. I sat with in stabbing distance from Onoki the Fence-Sitter himself glaring at Hiruzen for not letting me take that advantage, to the point where I started siding with Danzo because of it". She continued making the two shake. "Lost my elder brother one of only two people that always had my back and I hole hearty loved, and made his killer suffer with ruthless enjoyment, doing the kind of things that would make Anko Ibiki and that pussy Orochimaru piss themselves to witnesses". She said with smile scaring the two.

"I've done the kind of things as a Kunoichi adviser and unfortunately as a minion of that prick Danzo that guarantees me a lovely place in hell. Where I could spend the rest of eternity kicking his ass, while I wait for the others to fall. So I'll let you little girls know this you may be rather gifted killers now a days but your no where near the rock hard bitch I am so you best listen close". She ordered dangerously taking all the insolence right out of the two. "What you're planning to do isn't going to help anyone right now. All it will do is start infighting in the ranks more then there already is". She advised with a frown. "What you two are planning was exactly what Danzo Homura and I once thought as well, then scraped because the fallout would destroy Konoha inside and out". She stated making them glare.

"Morons would want the Jutsu thinking they could be the next Minato or Kushina, but those two knew their limits". She started with a sad frown. "They'd never leave you alone to actually learn anything, because for the simple fact that you're as much of a poison to Konoha in their eyes as I am". The two were wide eyed at that. "Hypocrites and morons that's all every generation of soldier ended up being in Konoha. In Naruto-Kun's name or not they'll do everything to take Kushina and Minato's secrets from you. Because that's what everybody does something horrible with a justification to it". She stated looking at the two sadly. "Before hurting the brightest ray of sunshine, a true embodiment of Hashirama's will of firs was justified. Did I scheme to use him? Yes and my justification was Konoha. Now what they did that doesn't matter it was just an accident a fucking Oopsie Daisy, compared to what you did now that everyone knows who he is". Koharu said spitting on the ground angrily the Kunoichi were stunned.

"My generation should've guided you to wage proper battle showing you to back your comrades like my sensei did for us. Only make you listen this time. Instead we were stuck in our ways using the brutality and warfare we went through as children to make you dead-eyed weapons. Something that could've killed our future altogether win or lose". She said absolutely ashamed of herself. "Then those younger then us, Took their bigotry and hatred out on a Kage I would've been proud to serve. If We just gave him a chance". She said shaking in tears now. "Then there's you guys repeating the cycle underhanded tactics against a very leader you vowed to service. The only thing that's separating you right now from me is this one chance and a life time of regret". She informed the two shook as she walked over.

"Besides wind and Lightning is needed for the FTG, read it myself in Tobi's blue prints do you have any idea how rare a Konoha born is with those elements, and Jiraiya is no where near Kushina on seals making your plan somewhat moot, unless you're planning to study for the next dozen wars instead of fighting them". She mocked with a chuckle they looked down defeated now. "So what do we do then?". Ino asked Koharu shrugged. "Anything else I guess you're teams are turning in to the back bone of the war. Still separate work from home grin on the battlefield but smile for loved ones". She said with a chuckle confusing the two as she grinned.

"Being a Shinobi is a life time job even those who go missing keep the head band. That's because eventually you're either numb to it or it turns in to an addiction. Danzo was a Warhawk but I was never happier actually fighting in it. Homura and I where Konoha's original demon duo". She explained making their eyes widened in fear as she chuckled. "The only thing better were the days when Moegi Konohamaru and Udon actually liked having me around". She said with a sad sigh. "But those days are over now we're just tired disgraced old washouts, our crime's on display while our accomplishments are all but forgotten. Think before you act is all I'm saying". She said with a shrug before walking off leaving the two with plenty to think about.

A few weeks and a lot of bodies later with the Raven Core

Tenten grinned over the bodies with Lee while Kiba was numb to it. Sasuke saw his crew and frowned at them. "Konoha…bastards". An Iwa spy gasped out Tenten stabbed him in the head with her spear. "So what changed?". Lee asked Tenten grinned a bit more. "Heard more of those stories and got some pretty good advice to". She said getting everyone else's attention. "Grin on the battlefield smile for loved ones, you just need to separate it". Lee thought about and shrugged it off he had no clue what she was talking about.

Shadow strike land of Earth's Capital.

Because of Jiraiya's old contacts in his brothels and Konohamaru's help. Shikamaru managed to cash in a favour with one of the Earth Diemyo's own children. The Noble was many things first a moron second greedy enough to get his more patriotic siblings killed to rise another level. Lastly an arrogant and violent prick he beat several of Jiraiya's girl before the former Spymaster was told by the madam. Some rope a couple of knives and hard knuckles connecting with a soft area later and bingo Jiraiya had a man in the Diemyo's palace. So terrified at the prospect of ever having to go through that again, and a lack of loyalty to his people and a chance for power regardless Prince Chi was more then happy to comply. His job have a meeting with his more loyal brothers and sisters a top of a tower.

What he didn't need to know was they weren't planning for him to help out ever again. He was to poison a bottle of wine and make a toast so they all drank together. He was so excited they didn't have the heart to tell him, he'd most likely be executed afterwards, severely breaking the Land of Earths royalty and moral, even if he did admit to help in Konoha the fact of the matter was a Earth Royal helped .kill of his own family for an enemy nation The team was watching their targets on the tower of the Diemyo's palace through their telescopes. They were wide eyed seeing a familiar man in a grey fox mask. He was talking with them looking rather lazy. He ended up walking to the ledge leaning on the railing. They observed him more as the idiot noble slapped him on the shoulder resting his palm there with a superior arrogant smirk, offering him a glass. The Assassin turned grabbing him by the throat and throwing Chi off the tower shocking everyone. The assassin turned to the others Ino read the body language of the others. They were terrified and vary compliant with him now dropping their drinks. They then walked off but not before the assassin gave them a back hand wave before leaving. Their eyes widened and they ran as fast as possible confused that they weren't being followed.

Iwa Onoki's office.

Onoki sighed annoyed as the Assassin had his feet on his desk. Reading both Foxtrot's reports and the Nobles own ledger he looked at Foxtrot. "An you're absolutely sure our Diemyo can't trace it back to us?". He asked Foxtrot nodded in reassurance. "Of course his majesty's children were vary interested in helping, good old Chi called them up there to formulate a plan to fund your village with such passion". Onoki could help but chuckle at that. "And he bought it? Even Lord Kakōgan knew his son was a piece of shit". Foxtrot shrugged. "Obviously he never cared enough to fix that, so he has two options support you making his dimwit of a dead son look heroic, or eventually kick the bucket and I was entire family name disgraced because of a piece of shit Daimyo's aren't that smart but they have some common sense". He said making the Tsuchikage nodded in agreement.

"And before you asked he was so passionate about this he tripped over his feet and fell". Onoki couldn't help but laugh at that it was a perfect death for such a prick in his mind. "And the official story?". He asked Foxtrot shrugged. "Your Diemyo is probably still trying to make one up, he refused the one I supplied the kids but it's all finance to you". He assured before getting up and jumping out the window leaving Onoki there grinning.
