Dragon Warriors

in Camp Sickness

At the East Liverpool Hospital, Connor and Vault were laying on two seperate beds in their room covered in bandages while Connor is reading the paper.

"Just read this nurse!" said Connor as he showed the nurse the front page.

"Million dollar damage suit." the nurse read. "Two heroes sue tutor for assault and battery."

"That's right!" Vault began. "We tried to help him, and what do we get in return? He beat us up!" he said.

Down the hall, Beardsley and the rest of the Warriors are heading to the room where Connor and Vault are staying at. And when Alicia opened the door, they heard the conversation.

"And when we win that million dollar lawsuit, we'll punch that old man in the face!" said Connor, which made Beardsley angry.

"Now, now, you mustn't get excited." the nurse comforted Connor, while Alicia watched in jealousy. "Tell me. How did all this happen?" she asked.

"Well, Beardsley was a tutor at Kent State he helped a lot of students who are struggling." explained Connor. "But then the college budget was cut, and he was forced into early retirement. And because of that he had a nervous breakdown, and a few days ago he was sick and his doctor said he must have quite." Connor started.

Flashback:

A few days ago at the catacombs, Beardsley is sitting on his recliner chair with a water bag strapped to his bed. And just as he was about to take his medicine, he spotted Shade walking.

"Quite, quite! Quit stomping around." Beardsley said to Shade. "Scat!" he grabbed his wager bag and threw it Shade, which causes to yowl in shock and fled.

"Oh my nerves." said Beardsley and he took out a thermometer. "I must have a 106." he said, and he put it in his mouth. And just as he's waiting, he heard music which causes Beardsley to bite down the thermometer, he took it and discovered that it was bite down in half.

And the music turned out to be Connor and Vault doing the Two-Man Quartet, with Connor on the clarinet and the drums and Vault on the trombone, and uses his head to his the gong, and Vault uses a drumstick that was strapped to his hip to hit the big drum.

"Quite! Quite you imbeciles!" yelled Beardsley, so he got off the chair to give them a piece of is mind. And as the two were playing, Vault accidentally threw the trombone which wrapped Beardsley around neck.

They stopped after they heard the sound of a sour note, and that's when Vault noticed something.

"Hey Connor, did you see my slide?" asked Vault.

"No. Maybe it flew in there." said Connor, and they went to find the slide. They looked all over the area and spotted Beardsley, but what they didn't know is that Beardsley hid the slide behind him.

"Hey Beardsley did you see a trombone slide?" asked Vault.

"No, but I see a dream walking." said Beardsley and he took out the slide, and wrapped the two around their necks and twist it. But then Connor and Vault got the slide off of their necks.

"Gee, what a sore head." said Vault as he rubbed his neck.

"Yeah." Connor said in agreement as the other Warriors came.

"What did you expect. My credit has put me into early retirement then I have a nervous breakdown, and all you guys do is make it worse. You know my doctor said I must have quite!" Beardsley said to the two.

"Beardsley, what you need is a quiter country." said Luu Luu.

"Luu Luu's right. Just picture the beautiful country," said Vault. "the babbling brook, the breezes through the trees, the mooses, and the meeces. And the fresh air." he breathed in some air, but he ended up coughing.

"Yeah Beardsley, it'll make a new man out of you." said Grave.

"Sounds pretty good." said Beardsley, liking the idea.

"Sure can't you just see it. Hunting and fishing, and at night the open campfire and far away in the distance, you hear the call of the wolf." said Luu Luu, then Vault whistled. "That's the wrong wolf!" she said to Vault, then Vault let out a howl. And the sound of it causes Luu Luu to cover her ears.

"Not so loud!" Luu Luu whined,

"Don't tell me, I know how it works!" yelled Vault.

"Don't yell at me!" Luu Luu yelled back, and she took the drumstick from Vault and smacked him in the head with it.

"That noise! The noise!" yelled Beardsley as he waced his hands. "That noise! The noise!" he yelled, which got the others attention.

"Now you guys made him nervous again." Prim said to the two. Then the others put Beardsley back to his chair.

"Oh, quick! Quick, quick my medicine! My pills!" said Beardsley.

Then Connor put a funnel in his mouth, and Alicia poured a few pills into it, and and poured the solutions as well. After that, Claudia took out the funnel shook his head to mix the medicine together, which he swallowed.

"That ought to cure him." said Claudia.

"Or kill him." said Kaguya.

"We better get packed." said Connor.

The next day, the Warriors are now vacationing in a canin somehwere in the forest to help Beardsley.

"Grub is ready." said Beardsley.

"Oh boy, am I hungry." said Connor as he and the others sat down.

"It's a good thing we found this cabin." said Vault.

"Yeah." said Luu Luu in agreement. "This area is fine for hunting." she said.

"How do you know?" Alicia questioned.

"I saw a sign outside that says fine for hunting." she explained, which causes Connor's to open wide, while the others know what that means.

As the Warriors were chowing down, Beardsley came and placed a plate of eggs on the table.

"Oh, eggs." said Connor.

"And don't touch them til I come back with the potatoes." said Beardsley as he left, then the others left the tabke to do something leaving Connor and Alicia alone.

But what they didn't know is that a bear came to the window and began eating the eggs, and after it's done it head. And when Beardsley came with the potatoes he noticed that the entire plate of eggs is missing, and he glanced at Connor.

"You worm!" Beardsley grabbed Connor by the back of his shirt and dragged him. "Where's your manners, why didn't you leave me some me some of the eggs?" he said to Connor.

"I didn't touch them." said Connor.

"Oh you did. And don't make it worse by lying about it." Beardsley said to Connor, as the bear came back and began eating the potatoes. "If this happens again I'll feed you to the Nightmares, I'll use your hair as a wig." he continue to pesture Connor.

"Oh shut up!" said Connor and he stick his tongue at him. "Always telling me what to do." he grumbled, as Beardsley grabbed some sugar from the shelf.

"What did you say Connor?" he said to Connor.

"I said shut up!" said Connor and he stick his tongue again, but this time Beardsley poured the sugar on Connor's tongue, which causes him to spit out.

"Now you know what I mean." said Beardsley which causes Connor to growl in anger, while the bear hid again. "At least I'll get my rihtful share of the potatoes." he said, and just as he's about to eat, he spotted that potatoes are gone and he glanced at Alicia. Then he grabbed her by the hair.

"I didn't do nothing!" Alicia defended herself.

"No, you didn't do nothing you everything but the plate." said Beardsley. "Now you guys make my breakfast, boil me some noodles and fry me some eggs!" he ordered as he dragged Alicia.

"Okay you fry the eggs, I'll boil the noodles." Alicia said to Connor, and the last part got her confused. "You're gonna eat noodles for breakfast?!" she said.

"Alright, make it spaghetti." said Beardsley.

"That's different." Alicia shrugged.

"Hey Beardsley, how do you want your eggs?" said Connor.

"Sunnyside down, and don't turn them over." he said to Connor.

"Sunnyside down and don't turn them over," then the two Warriors began to cook.

"Where's that fresh honey." said Beardsley, and he spotted the jar. "Oh, boy." he said, and he poured the honey on a piece of bread, next he added jelly on it.

"If there's anything I like netter than honey and jelly, it's bolony and chese. And we haven't got any." Beardsley took a bite of the bread, and he took out a newspaper and began reading. As he's eating his breakfast, the bear came back and began to eat the honey jar, it eat, and eat, and eat to make sure it ate the last drop of honey.

"Spaghetti's ready!" said Alicia holding the bowl of spaghetti, but at the sight of the bear causes her to scream and toss the spahetti, and Connor spotted the bear as well.

"What the?" said Beardsley, Connor and Alicie turned and spotted Beardsley covered in spaghetti. "Spaghetti, you stoop bridbrain!" he said as the bear fled with the jar.

"Beardsley." Alicia struggled. "Theres, theres, theres, theres-" But Beardsley threw the spaghetti at them.

"You imbeciles what's the matter with you?!" Beardsley said in anger.

"T-There's a b-b-b-bear in the w-w-window." she stuttered.

"You're wacky, there's no bear in ant window." said Beardsley in denial.

"There is too." Connor argued.

As Beardsley was checking the window, the bear smacked him in the back of the head, which causes him to yowl in pain.

"You're right, there is a bear out there." said Beardsley. "You two take the rest of the Warriors with you to get him. I'd go to but my nerfes won't let me." he said to the two.

"I haven't got the nerve either." said Connor.

"OK Beardsley, we'll go. But if that bear kills me I'll necer talk to you again." said Alicia.

So the two have gathered the rest of the Warriors to track down the bear.

"Look at me shaking. I've got the chills again." said Beardsley as he covered himself with a blanket and sat down, and he began taking his medicine. But what he doesn't know, is that the bear went into the cabin, and after Beardsley finished taking his medicine he spotted the bear, and he hid behind the chair. But the bear went out of the window.

Then the Warriors came back after they didn't find the bear.

"That bear sure disappeared fast." said Prim, and then they noticed Luu Luu pointing at something. They turned and spotted Beardsley, believing to be the bear, Kaguya took out her cards and then ignited them, and then she threw them at his butt.

"Ouch!" Beardsley hollered as he got back up, and the Warriors realized it in shock. And then they pretended to act like none of it happened.

"What do you know Beardsley, the bear got away." Connor said to Beardsley.

"Yeah, but you won't." said Beardsley, and he grabbed both Connor and Vault's heads and bashed them together. And then they heard a car starting. "Hey somebody's coming." he said. He went to see what's going on, he opened the door and to his surprise, he saw the bear driving a car.

He closed the door and rubbed his eyes to make sure he's not hallucinating.

"Either I'm dreaming or I flipped my lip completely. Oh my nerves, my nerves." Then he came to the Warriors to tell them what happened.

"Hey, guys." said Beardsley. "I just a bear drive a car." he explained, which shocked the Warriors. They circled their fingers on the side of their heads to see that Beardsley is starting to lose his mind. "He put his arm out to make a turn."

"Come on, sit down." said Connor, as Alicia and Prim brought Beardsley to a chair to sit down.

"Relax Beardsley," said Grave.

"Relax he says! I see bears driving cars! I'm forced into early retirement! Oh, I wanna go home!" Bears,wy begam to cry.

"Beardsley relax, just sleep." said Claudia, and in an instant, Beardsley fell asleep.

Flashback paused:

"He was a nervous wreck." said Vault.

"Calm down. Don't hurt your million, head." said the nurse, hiding the fact that she wants the money, while Maia watched in jealousy. "I hope you changed your minds and went back home." she said.

"That's just it! We didn't go, but instead we continued to stay in the cabin and we even invited our friends as well." said Connor.

Flashback:

The Auxilary Riders and Toby came to the cabin to relax.

"Nice cabin." said Neon.

"Yeah, cool." said Lemon.

"I'm even suprise that no one who used to live in this place didn't pay the bills." said Sugarcoat.

"Glad you guys made it." said Connor with smile.

"Auntie Prim!" Toby ran to Prim, then she hugged her nephew.

"Toby!" said Prim.

But, what about the dragons?" asked Maia.

"The others didn't feel like staying at a cabin, so they decided to hang out at the catacombs. Except for Shade." said Neon, then Shade appeared.

"So what now?" asked Sunny.

"Well, we're trying to make Beardsley better. So we decided to make him feel comfortable by staying at the great outdoors." explained Luu Luu.

"Yeah. By telling stories." said Connor.

"What kind if stories?" asked Toby.

"The story of me as a knight in Eostia." he answered. Then he began to tell a story. "As I was at the Kingdom of Ur, I faced a minotaur."

Story:

Connor was clashing swords with a minotaur, and just as the minotaur was about to slash him from below, Connor jumped to avoid the sword.

"I was given intel that the minotaur was terrorizing Ur ordered by Origa."

Connor ran and slid under the minotaur to strike it down, but the minotaur blocked the attack.

"He was a strong than one of the ogres we faced. So strong that he punched me down."

Then the minotaur punched him to the ground which made a dent to his armor, and it raised his sword to finish him off.

"And just as the minotaur was about to finish me off, I rolled over,"

Connor rolled to the side just as the sword struck the ground.

"And then with one swing of my sword, I cut off the minotaurs hair."

Connor gripped his sword and and swinged across the minotaurs head it flinched to feel the pain, but it didn't feel anything. It looked up and discovered that Connor had cut off his hair, it covered it's shaved head and fled in embarrassment.

Story end:

"And that's how I defeated the minotaur and saved Ur." Connor finished with a smile.

"On your own." Claudia said firmly.

"Come on don't burn up, I defeated the minotaur by cutting off its hair. It's like an old man who's bald but still has his long wavy hair. Don't burn up." he said to Claudia.

"And speaking of burn up," they turned and saw Indigo Zap. "We need more wood." Indigo pointed.

"Don't worry, I'll go get some." said Connor and he left the cabin.

Later, Connor is gathering the wood to start a fire for the cabin.

"I knew this was a good." Connor said to himself, and then ne began to giggle. "Bears driving cars, yeah right." he giggled.

As Connor kept grabbing wood he heard gorwling.

"What's that?" He continue to hear the growling he moved the bushes to discover a minotaur with a familiar bald spot, the minotaur met Connor know exactly what it saw.

"You!" said the Minotaur, and then Connor fled back to the cabin.

He made it back inside and closed to door as he pant from running away from the minotaur he beat.

"Hey Connor, did you get the wood?" said Maia, but Connor only said was gibberish.

"Connor what's with you?" asked Grave. Connor tried to explain, but he kept speaking in gibberish.

"What is he saying?" asked Lemon Zest.

"A mini-mini-" Connor finally made a sentence. And just as he's about to say a full sentence the minotaur burst through the door and stand on Connor who's under the door, the minotaur roared as the others scream in fright as they ran away from it.

Then the Minotaur began to crush Connor as revenge for what he did to him.

"Get off you big gorilla!" Connor groaned in pain, but the minotaur continued to crush him.

Then Beardsley came after being woken up from his nap, who is now angrier than ever, and he grabbed a log.

"I'll brain'em! I'll brain'em!" said Beardsley, ready to take action. "Cut out that racket or I'll brain you!" he yelled at the minotaur. But instead, the minotaur just growled at him.

"On second thought, I'll just leave." then Beardsley flee with the others. And now the minotaur is about to spread chaos, starting with the girls. It tried to attack, but Lemon Zest and Sunny started hitting it with frying pans, and while they were busy Connor got back up and put the door back in place.

"Hey!" the minotaur turned and spotted Vault taking out his sword, smirking the minotaur took out its sword as well, and they begun to clash each other.

As Connor was about to process Shade burst through the door ontop of Connor, and spotted Vault standing his ground against the minotaur, then Shade went to Beardsley to explain.

"Yes I know it's a minotaur." said Beardsley, not understanding what Shade is talking.

"He wants you to use his attack." said Connor.

"What attack?" he asked Connor.

"His Plasma Blast attack!"

Vault continue to struggle with the minotaur Beardsley got ready along with Shade.

"Shade! Plasma Blast!" yelled Beardsley, then Shade blasted at the minotaurs butt, which causes it to yell in pain.

"Oh, right in the-" Neon winced.

The minotaur fled the cabin as it continued to yell in pain, as Connor and Vault see the defeated minotaur

"That takes of the minotaur." said Connor.

"You said it." Vault said in agreement. "Poor minotaur." he said.

"Oh woe is the minotaur." then Beardsley came with an ax who is fed up with them.

"Oh woe is you!" said Beardsley.

"Whoa, Beardsley!" yelled Vault in shock as he and Connor ducked to avoid the ax, and the ax cut down the stoce pipe which landed on his head, and once he got it off his head soot began covering him which causes him to cough.

Flashback end:

"And we barely came out of there with our lives." Connor finished the story on what had happened to both he and Vault.

"Yeah, and it turns out the excitement had cured him." Vault added.

"You poor darlings." said the nurse who is faking. "You're lucky that the old man didn't kill you." she said, as she continue to, flirt with them.

"When you win the million dollar lawsuit you and I will fo a trip around the world, you will come with me to the Casba."

"That sounds nice." Connor said with a smile. Then Alicia dragged the nurse away from two.

"I'll send you to the Casba!" said Alicia, and then she punched her to the chaur which rendered her unconscious.

"And as for you two," said Maia as the others came in.

"Guys, it's you!" Connor said in shock as well as Vault. "We didn't know you were there-" And just as Connor was about to explain, they heard dragons roaring.

"It sounds like Origa." said Kaguya.

"It sure is." said Connor.

"But what are we gonna do, we can't leve here." Vault reminded.

"That's why I came here to tive you an apology gift to drop the lawsuit." said Beardsley.

"What is it?" asked Connor.

"I asked the Auxilary Riders to take care of the dragon attacks while you two can relax." he explained with a smile.
