Robert came downstairs in his robe about an hour later. He was exhausted. He saw Holly sitting at the table. "Good morning, babe." He went over a kissed her head.

"More like afternoon, darling." She stood up to give him a kiss. "You really exhausted yourself last night."

"What can I say? I love making love to you." Robert gave her a kiss.

Holly happily returned it. "Let me get you something to eat. Barry went with Jayne to Kelly's so it's just us."

"I can get it." Robert told her, seeing how busy she had been.

"I don't mind, darling. I'm getting hungry, too. I was thinking some of the leftovers Rose sent us home with." Holly suggested.

"Yes, I think that sounds wonderful." Robert told Holly, going into the kitchen to help.

They got the leftovers together and went to sit back in the dining room.

"You know you were something else last night, I love when you take control." Robert grinned as he reached over to take her hand, kissing it.

Holly grinned, biting her bottom lip. "I've noticed. It was passionate and loving. A wonderful way to ring in the new year."

"My favorite way." Robert told her before starting to work on his food.

"Do you have to work today?" She asked him as she poured herself a cup of tea.

"No, I mean I may get a call but I wanted to spend the day with you." Robert told Holly.

"Well it's a good thing with how late you slept in." Holly poured him a cup, too. "Want to stay home, just spend the day together in front of the fireplace?" She asked him.

"I can't think of anything better." Robert had so much love for his wife. He loved this life they were still building together.
