Robert and Holly enjoyed their family time and were even more happy when they had more friends and family join them. Things got a little uncomfortable when Mac, Frisco and Felicia were all there but they acted like adults and no one got into it. Something Robert and Holly were both grateful for.

Robert had been working on a surprise, Holly could tell he was up to something but wanted to let him have his fun. Besides she was busy catching up with Celia, Tiff and Felicia.

They heard a knock on the door and Robert looked at Jayne. "Darling would you mind getting that?" He asked.

"Not one bit." Jayne got up and went over to the door, she opened it and saw Barry on the other side. "BARRY!" She gave him a hug.

Holly got up and hurried over to hug her cousin too. "What are you doing here?"

Barry's face lit up at the warm welcome he received from two of his favorite people. "Robert thought you two might like a visit with me."

Holly looked over at Robert and smiled. "He was right." She looked back at Barry. "How long are you staying?" She asked him.

"Just a couple of days. I want to get back home to ring in the new year." Barry gave them both hugs again.

"We will have to make the most of it then!" Jayne smiled at the family member she had always felt closest too.

"Yes we will." Barry joined in on the festivities.

Holly went over and took Robert's hand, leading him into the kitchen. She turned around and gave him a hug. "Did you know that you are the most incredible husband in the world? And father? Jayne and I both needed that surprise."

Robert's arms wrapped around Holly's waist. "I knew you both did, he helped us a lot. I'm not fond of your scuzzy family but Barry is definitely the good one, well besides you."

Holly hugged Robert tightly. "He really did, I think if it weren't for him we would still be searching for answers."

Robert nodded in agreement. "I loved seeing your face and Jayne's. I love seeing them in the house."

Holly gave Robert a kiss. "I love being in this house, I love being with you. Honestly the Metro Court was home with you, Australia was home with you, the many places we stayed in the 2010s were home with you." She kissed him again.

Robert kissed her back, not wanting it to end. "You'll always be my home too. How did you know Cameron would be here?" Robert asked Holly, he wanted to ask earlier but hadn't gotten a chance.

"I knew there could be a chance and wanted to be prepared, Emma mentioning him at Thanksgiving tipped me off. Let's go have some family time and then tonight some you and me time. How does that sound?" Holly asked as she stroked his cheek.

Robert pulled her close. "Absolutely perfect."

Robert and Holly both went out and spent time with their family. Everyone coming and going throughout the day. Seana was fast asleep before they knew it. As everyone started to clear out Holly looked a little sad.

"You still hate when the holidays are over don't you?" Robert asked her, wrapping his arms around her. His eyes locking with her beautiful brown eyes.

Holly nodded as her arms found their way around his neck. "I always do, especially this years. last year I was looking for Ethan and was trying to hard to not be missing you."

Robert moved one of his hands up to stroke her cheek. "You don't have to worry about that anymore. Last Christmas was not my favorite either. I kept reliving our kisses and getting to hold you, getting to almost make love to you."

Holly closed her eyes, loving his touch as she let the memories flood back. "I wanted to be in your arms so bad but we both know Ethan had to come first."

Robert nodded, their children always came first. "My badass wife went and saved our son." He leaned in and whispered. "It's kind of hot thinking of you saving the world."

Holly's face lit up as she opened her eyes. "Just another day darling." She teased, knowing he was trying to lighten the mood.

"Modest too. How did I get so lucky?" He grinned and kissed her neck.

Holly couldn't take the smile off of her face. "You think you are lucky now!" She took his hand and let him upstairs to their bedroom.
