Holly went to see how it was going for Seana and Robert and smiled when she found them both fast asleep. She gently shook Robert. "Darling, you ready to come up to bed?"
Robert opened his eyes and smiled at her, then looked over at his sleeping granddaughter. "Yes." He carefully got up and tucked her in.
The two of them went upstairs. "I really love getting to see you with her. Your bond is so incredible."
"Yours is too. She lucked out with grandparents all around." Robert smiled.
Holly nodded. "I'm thinking just a shower tonight. It's been such a long day."
Robert had to agree. He hated skipping the sauna, but a shower then holding her was a good thing, too. "I think that sounds wonderful.
The two got undressed and went into the bathroom. Holly started the shower and then got in, reaching her hand out for Robert's.
Robert took it and smiled at his beautiful wife, already getting wet from the water. "You look gorgeous."
Holly grinned as she swapped places with him. "I'm going to give you a little TLC." She carefully removed the bandage as she cleaned it.
"You know you've always been my best doctor." He told her as he took one of her hands.
"I can't say you've always been the best patient, but I'll still keep you." Holly grinned at him.
"Oh, thanks." He turned so he could give her a kiss. "When I saw Michael pointing that gun at you, I thought I.."
Holly covered his mouth. "I'm okay, Robert, you made sure of that." Holly gave him a kiss.
The two finished up the shower and got into their pajamas, Holly's, of course, being the pair he had given to her. They laid down next to each other.
"I'm so glad we saved Tiffany." Holly ran her fingers through his soft, gray hair.
"I am too. All is right in The Scorpio home." Robert pulled her closer, just needed to feel her close to him.
Holly kissed him gently, but things turned a little more passionate. If it weren't for being so exhausted, this would definitely be another night to remember. Maybe a morning to remember was in store for them? One could only hope. The pair settled in and drifted off to sleep in no time.
