Ethan had told Annie he had a surprise for her. He knew the danger was still a thing they had to worry about, but when the house next to his parents became available, he had to jump at it.
He took her into it blindfolded.
"What are you up to?" Annie asked, growing impatient.
"You are about to see." Ethan took the blindfold off of her.
Annie looked around. "Who's house is this?" She asked.
"Mine...I was hoping to make it ours. It's got five bedrooms, so until we are ready, you will have your own." Ethan wanted to make clear. "It's next to my parents, and there's plenty of room for your mum to live here too."
"It does look very nice." Annie was letting it sink in. This home was beautiful. She looked around. "I think this room would need to be mom's. She would have more privacy."
"I was thinking that too, and we're next door to mum and dad. We would still be easy to watch and not separate anyone. Seana would get to see them all the time." Ethan had really thought this through.
"I love that." Annie knew how important it was to Seana and Tiffany to stay close to Robert and Holly, to Ethan too. "Let's do this." Annie hugged Ethan.
Ethan kissed her head. "I'm glad you went for it. Now to tell the parents."
The Scorpio Townhouse
Seana was hosting a tea party with her favorite people, her grandparents. She pretended to pour them cups.
"You know you are very good at this." Holly complimented her granddaughter before fixing Robert's floppy hat.
"Thanks." Seana smiled and sat down.
"Doesn't that hat bring out Grandpa's eyes?" Tiffany asked Seana, who just started giggling.
Annie and Ethan walked in. "Just the people we need to see, is Jayne here?" Ethan asked.
Jayne walked in the front door. "Did I hear my name?"
"Perfect timing. Annie and I have news." Ethan looked at Annie.
"We are going to be neighbors. We just bought the house next door." Annie smiled.
Tiffany got up and hugged her daughter. "Oh, that's fantastic!"
Annie hugged her mom. "It will be even better if you move in with us."
Tiffany looked between both of them. "Are you serious?"
Ethan nodded. "We made sure you would have a room."
Holly gave Ethan a hug. "I'm so happy for you and us, neighbors."
Robert took his hat off and gave him a hug next. "I'm proud of you."
Jayne joined in on the hugs, too.
Seana looked up at them, not really getting it.
Ethan scooped her. "What do you think about living next door to gramps and Grandma Holly?"
Seana looked at Robert.
"We will get to see each other every day still." Robert reassured her
Seana smiled and gave Ethan a hug. "I like it."
Tiffany, Ethan, and Annie went to start getting things together while Robert and Seana watched a movie.
"Mum, do you have a minute?" Jayne asked.
"For you? Always. What's going on? Holly and Jayne sat at the dining room table.
"Do you all want me to move out now, too?" Jayne's bluntness came out again.
"No, absolutely not. We didn't ask for them to move out. Besides that it's better you stay here." Holly took her daughter's hand.
"Okay, because I could see about getting a room over Kelly's, but I really do enjoy getting some time with you and dad, though." Jayne told her mom, she loved getting to make up for lost time with them.
"We love it too. It's also safer. Although I am sure there is a certain handsome WSB agent that would be happy to help keep you safe." Holly has noticed the change in their relationship.
Jayne beamed as she talked about JJ. "About that, we're giving it a real go."
Holly gave Jayne a hug. "I'm so happy for you and him."
Jayne hugged Holly back. "I am too. You and dad inspired me, I want to have this. It's special."
Holly smiled at her daughter. "So are you my darling."
