Jake had left to go work on a case as Rose stayed to spend time with Robert and Holly. The three of them were discussing the wedding and all the moments.

"It was so lovely. I'm so glad that we were able to give that to both of them. They deserved it." Holly grinned, she so wanted to tell them about the newest surprise but it wasn't her place and she could keep a secret.

"Joey needed that and so did Jayne. They are so good for each other. I have to admit before I knew Jayne I wasn't too fond of her. She hurt JJ to a point I had never seen before. I'm glad I was wrong about her. I'm glad JJ has what we all long for, what you two have and what I hope Jake and I have." Rose admitted to Robert and Holly.

"I'm not surprised you weren't. I wouldn't be fond of anyone who hurt my children or grandchildren either. I am just glad they found each other again. I suppose we have Jake to thank for it all." Holly grinned.

"Oh, please don't tell him that. You know how egos can be." Rose joked.

"Don't I know that." Holly teased as she looked over at Robert.

"I don't know what either of you are implying but either way I'm glad how this all worked out. Life seems to be falling into place." Robert put his arm around Holly.

"I'm glad too." Rose was so happy to see them back where they belong. "How's it feel having the house all to yourself again?"

"Quiet but I'm enjoying our time together, always do." Holly replied, she loved having family around but also enjoyed every moment with Robert.

"Kelly's is quitter now too, not that Jayne and JJ were loud but they bring a lot of joy." Rose loved her grandson and new granddaughter-in-law.

"I know what you mean, Jayne, Ethan, and Robin all living the place up. I can't wait to hear about their trip but I hope they enjoy it. They deserve all of this." Holly told Robert and Rose who agreed.

They all went over to the dining room table to eat.

Rose started chuckling.

Robert and Holly looked at each other. "Something you want to share?" Robert asked.

"Oh, I was thinking about when Holly was mad at you and you kept giving her gifts. You know I've been in quite a few of your moments, so to speak." Rose smiled, grateful for their friendship.

"I remember that too, you tried to get me to soften but I refused." Holly laughed at the memory, reaching out to take Rose's hand. "I'm so very grateful for you."
