"NO WAY! MY POV FIRST?!"

Rn I'm sitting at a large dining table with little Beako on my lap, but I need to rant before Thirth Person officially starts this shit.

WHY DID THIRTH PERSON CUT OUT MINE AND EMILIA'S SEX SCENE!? That little fucker completely screwed me over again!

You all should've seen it. I masterfully convinced Puck to leave me and her alone, and then we fucked, then we cuddled on a bed.(all consensual of course)

Of course, when that feline spirit came back, he saw me and Emilia naked on the bed and quickly killed me.

I get why Thirth Person didn't show it. That thing doesn't like showing every failed loop of mine, but I feel like my first time fucking the half-elf should've been shown...

this is why we're falling off Thirth Person...

Contrary to the boy's delusional thoughts, Subaru, did in fact, not have any sexual intercourse with Emilia. He did however manage to kiss the girl's cheek, but was promptly killed by Puck not even a second later.

"Shut up Thirth Person!" Subaru slams his fist on the table, spooking Emilia, and slightly spooking Beatrice.

The maids looked confused at Subaru's sudden slam, but Roswaal looked even more confused.

'Who is Thirth Person? Could that really be a spirit he has?' Roswaal asked himself.

Roswaal was extremely curious on who Subaru was talking to. He at first thought the boy had just been playing around and was just pretending to talk to someone, but after Subaru kept repeating the name, Roswaal knew it couldn't be a simple joke.

He was still very shocked that Subaru had managed to make a contract with Beatrice, with it being something that he wouldn't ever expect to happen, especially on the first day of the boy's stay.

He tried to conjure up an idea on how the crazy boy had somehow convinced the little girl to be his spirit, but was stumped.

"Eat up Beako!" Subaru brought a piece of bread to the little girl's mouth and beckoned her to eat it, as if he was feeding his own daughter.

Emilia found the scene to be adorable, while the others in the room were also looking at Subaru and the great spirit, but all for different reasons.

The blue-haired maid hadn't trusted Subaru since she met him. Now that he somehow has Beatrice by his side, she now definitely didn't trust the boy. She made a mental note to keep her eye on the boy, and make sure he isn't a danger.

Like her sister, Ram doesn't trust the boy. He just comes in out of nowhere and saves Emilia, and then only a few days after he arrives at the mansion, he justs so happens to contract Beatrice? It all just seemed suspicious to the sharp-tongued maid. Just like her sister, Ram also wanted to keep an eye on the boy.

The margrave intently gazed at Subaru, but unlike the twin maids, he wasn't at all suspicious of the boy, but rather was still trying to comprehend how exactly the boy managed to get Beatrice.

"Sorry Ros-sheet, but like I told Reintard, I'm not into guys." Subaru mistook the intense gaze on him as something else, and without even looking at the margrave, he rejects something that wasn't even there, as he continues to feed his loli spirit.

"Oh? I think you are mistaken~" The eccentric voice of the court magician makes Subaru cringe once again.

"It's you I'm cringing at!" The boy angrily tells the clown, but was staring at the corner of the room.

"..." A certain feline spirit just stared at Subaru with curiosity in his eyes.

Puck stared at the little girl on the raven-haired boy's lap, and as well as being slightly curious about why she chose Subaru, was also concerned that she did so.

The feline immediately picked up on the fact that Beatrice hadn't even greeted him.

It doesn't seem like such a big deal, but with how much the little librarian used to adore the feline spirit before, and how she would always spend time with him, her new change was something that concerned Puck.

Puck had a slight inkling on why she had chosen Subaru of all people to be her contractor, but it was something that Puck didn't want to fully admit.

"You almost done Beako?" Subaru brought another small piece of bread to her lips. Without answering the boy, Beatrice leans forward and takes the bread into her mouth and then nods.

Subaru just stares down at the girl in his lap, as he gives her the adoring look you would see a father give his daughter.

He hadn't thought he would get so attached to someone so quickly, but here he was, caring for the little girl as if she was his own child.

'Uh...Yeah! I'm definitely treating her well because I like her, and NOT because she's my main attack... of course not... hehe...'

"Rude." The little spirit looks up to the boy with a pout. What Subaru didn't know, was that through their contract, the little librarian could read parts of his thoughts.

"Don't worry Beako! You know I'm just being a tsundere with you!" He quickly made an excuse.

The boy was once again lying. He didn't think Beatrice could read his thoughts, so he had been freely––

"Thirth Person wants to ruin our wholesome relationship!" The boy whines out.

Following in her contractor's steps, Beatrice; while not fully understanding what the boy was talking to, talks to the boy's delusion.

"Thirth Person is stupid, in fact!" She exclaims with a smug smile. She turned her head up at Subaru with her smug expression, and looked at him as if she wanted his approval.

"Good job Beako!" The girl got what she wanted, as Subaru praised her for her insults thrown at his delusions.

Although happy in the moment, the poor little librarian had no clue had much she screwed up by contracting with the boy, but wouldn't find out until it was too late.

'Foreshadowing!'

"Soo~..." Finding it a perfect moment, the margrave starts to speak up.

"Emilia-saama toold~ me that youu~ saved herr~." The court magician said.

He had a smile on his face that freaked the crazy boy out, but Subaru surprisingly didn't make a remark about the smile.

"Yup! You should've seen it, creepy clown guy! I even held Reid in one of my loops!" The boy proudly exclaims.

Roswaal's eyes widen at Subaru's words, surprised by the boy's statement. While the others in the room just rolled their eyes at Subaru's words; believing Subaru is just playing up his actions, Roswaal knew there was some merit in the boy's words.

The margrave didn't believe that the boy held the Reid Dragon Sword, but what he focused on was Subaru's use of the word 'loops'.

He looked at the boy for a few seconds with his creepy smile, but after a few seconds, his smile drops from his face and then he begins to speak.

"Is this a failed one?" The eccentric accent of the clown was gone, now replaced by a more serious one, and a serious expression to accompany it.

"Nope! This is a successful loop!" The raven-haired boy flashed the clown a large toothy smile, not even looking surprised that the clown implied he knew of his ability.

"Why are you like this?" Roswaal was truly confused. Everything about the boy's behavior was something that Roswaal hadn't expected.

Roswaal knew more than he should've, and knew that this none of this correct. Subaru wasn't supposed to have Beatrice in the first place, but Roswaal told himself that maybe, just maybe, everything would still work out.

But Subaru freely talking about looping?

No. It shouldn't be. This is a failed loop. Roswaal was sure of it. The clown took a deep breath and started to build up a large amount of mag––

"Chill out Ros-shit, this is a perfect loop, just let me play it out and you'll see." The boy had sensed Roswaal was about to do something terrible, so he quickly tried to calm down the clown.

"Answer the question." The margrave pushed on. He hadn't wanted the boy to weasel out of the question, but actually answer why the boy is like that.

"What do you mean?" Subaru asks with a smug smirk, as he rest his arms atop his spirit's head.

Beatrice frowned at the boy's arms resting on her head, but she knew she couldn't do anything about it, so she just stared at the empty plate infront of her and just waited until the boy removed his arms.

"You know what I mean." There was now a smidge of annoyance in the court magician's voice, with even someone as composed as him being affected by the crazy boy's annoying behavior.

"Read the first chap old man. I got bitten by a radioactive car and got the ability to break walls!" He smugly exclaims.

"..." Roswaal has no words for the boy. He just stares at the boy with a blank expression, and just watches as the boy starts to eat his food.

"I've been waiting days for this!" Ignoring the clown's blank stare, Subaru picks up a utensil and finally starts to dig into his food.

"Fuck yeah!" In the middle of the garden, Subaru yelled out, as his contacted spirit looked at the boy confused.

After breakfast had ended, Subaru and Beatrice had walked around the manor for a few minutes, until they eventually wandered into the garden space. Subaru had been standing still for a few seconds, but then surprised Beatrice by suddenly yelling.

"Language, I suppose." The little spirit frowns at Subaru's potty mouth.

"You still suicidal Beako?" Out of nowhere, Subaru asks an extremely insensitive question to the little girl.

"Not anymore." Luckily for the crazy boy, the little girl only flinched at his insensitive question, and took no offense by it.

"Good job Beako! I'm so proud of you!" He proudly looks down to the little girl and pats her head.

"Just remember Beako, if you ever feel like pulling a Sayori, just come to me, alright?" He surprisingly is genuine when he tells the little girl his words, something that hit the little girl in the feels.

Goosebumps shot through the little girl's body, as Subaru's words kept repeating in her mind. The words, although exactly what you would expect to be said, made Beatrice feel an extreme sense of happiness.

She had only met Subaru not even four hours prior, and already picked up on that the boy was always joking, as well as always thinking of jokes, so for Subaru to genuinely tell her that he was there for her, meant the world to her.

"T-Thank you." She looks off to the side, as her cheeks grow rosy from the embarrassment.

From an outsider's point of view, the moment would look extremely adorable and nobody would want to ruin the cute scene, but it seems that a blue-haired maid didn't see it that way.

"Ahem." The clearing of her throat catches the attention of Subaru and Beatrice, and puts a stop to the cute moment between the contractor and spirit.

"Not the OC..." Subaru immediately shows his displeasure at the girl's appearance, not even trying to hide the rolling of his eyes.

"Not the maid..." Following her contractor's actions and words, Beatrice does the same.

Rem hears their complaints, and is only angered by the boy's words, but manages to contain her anger at the boy, and maintains a blank expression on her face.

"By Roswaal-sama's orders, allow me to give you a tour of the mansion." Her voice was as monotone as her face, as she reluctantly bowed to the boy.

Be it because of his antics, or maybe because of something else at play, either way, It was obvious that the maid was masking that she didn't like Subaru.

Subaru didn't care if she didn't like him; with him already used to people not liking him, but the same couldn't be said of his contracted spirit, as Beatrice did indeed mind if Rem liked Subaru or not.

"How dare you disrespect Betty's contractor!" The great spirit shot a harsh glare at the maid, with her voice also showing her clear anger at Rem.

Rem's eyes widen for quick moment, but quickly her neutral expression came back, and she tried her best to play it off.

"What do you mean Beatrice-sama? How am I being disrespectful to Subaru-sama?" Rem asked.

Although her dislike for Subaru was hidden much better, Beatrice could still spot it in her voice.

"Apologize to him!" Beatrice ordered the maid.

Beatrice felt great anger. She didn't like how the maid was treating Subaru, and wanted much worse for the maid, but assumed that Subaru wouldn't like that; something she would be wrong about, so she decided on just looking for an apology.

As the great spirit was glaring at the maid, the little girl felt a hand on her shoulder; it was Subaru.

"No need for that Beako." He shook his head with a smile.

In a surprising moment of maturity from him, he decides to forgive the mai––

"Woah, woah, woah! Let's not get ahead of ourselves Thirth Person! I'm not forgiving her, I just wanna speed this shit up!'" The boy yells to his poor little spirit.

"..." Both spirit and maid look at the boy with pure confusion written on their faces.

"OC, I don't need a tour, it's been like ten days since last chap, so I already explored the mansion in the frozen time. Hehe~ this won't make sense to the late readers." Ignoring their confusion, Subaru calmly explains to the maid on why he doesn't need a tour, unknowingly making the spirit and maid even more confused.

"Rem. My name is Rem, Subaru-sama." Although still confused, instead of asking him about it, Rem opted to correct Subaru on what he had been calling her.

She didn't like feeling as if she was disrespected, which was what she felt each time Subaru called her that name.

"Rem? Like Ram, but with an 'e' instead of the 'a'?" Subaru asks an incredibly stupid question.

"Yes." Rem blankly answers, as she was fed up with Subaru's stupidity.

"I don't know about that..." He spins around and crouches.

He rubs his chin, as he has to use a hundred percent of his brain to think.

"First off, fuck off Thirth Person. Second, Beako! Come here!" Still hunched over, Subaru calls over his loli great spirit.

The little loli walks over to infront of him.

"Yes?" She tilts her head to the side.

"Do you think we should call the OC by the name she gave us?" He asks, as he rubs his chin.

"This is stupid, I suppose." The loli pouts.

She hadn't been wanting to say it, but she honestly doesn't understand most things that come out of Subaru's mouth. One moment he's talking about hating someone and he is thinking of it, but then the next moment he's suddenly all good with said person.

It was truly confusing for the spirit.

"So should we allow the OC to be in the story?" Subaru asks her, pretending that Beatrice had answered him before.

"Yes." The little spirit answers, but it's very clear she answered just so she could get Subaru to stop.

"But don't you think the readers would be upset? We just introduce a random OC in the sto–– The bit has lasted toooo long!" Suddenly in the middle of his serious sounding thinking, Subaru suddenly stands straight up and his attitude totally switches.

"Huh?" Both girls say in unison, as both are; once again, confused.

"Read the chap Beako and Rem! This is supposed to be the confusion fest, which means... Timeskip!"

[WHAT HAPPENED IN THE 3-DAY SKIP]

(brought to you readers by me)

"Hey Beako, let's go sleep for the next 3 days!" Subaru suggests a brilliant idea to his adorable spirit.

"I don't want to sleep, so as much as I want to sleep with my perfect contractor, I would have to refuse that." Beako declined Subaru's offer.

And that's pretty much what happened. I slept for three days, and Beako did her own thing.

It was a beautiful morning in the mansion. The sun was shining, birds were chirping and flying around, with even the adorable Dora making an appearance near the mansion, as the little white bird had somehow made it all the way from Lugunica, to the mansion.

The little birdie did so, by using the carriage that Subaru was on. The little birdie was secretly atop of the carriage, with not even Ram or Emilia noticing the adorable little cre––

"Enough about that bird!" Subaru shoots up from his chair and screams out.

It wasn't too surprising that someone as terrible as Subaru hated birds.

"No I don't!" He childishly stops his feet on the floor.

"You treat that random bird better than me..." Subaru frowns, as he mumbles to himself crazy talk.

"Barusu." As he was was in the middle of being crazy, a voice suddenly called from the side of him, with it being Ram.

"Ram-nee!" Subaru excitedly exclaims.

In the three days of being in the mansion, Ram had taught Subaru how to read and write. In the little time, Ram had began to address Subaru as 'Barusu', and Subaru had started to call her 'Ram-nee', something that the pink-haired maid didn't like, but ultimately couldn't do anything about.

"Sit Barusu." Ram orders him, almost as if he was a dog.

"Ruff~ ruff~!" Subaru obeys and sits back on his chair.

"Disgusting." Ram rolled her eyes.

"Call me a good boy!" He whines to the maid.

The pink-haired maid ignored the crazy boy's weird request, and just sent him a disgusted stare as she walked away from the boy.

"You think I have a chance with her, Beako?" He turns over to his spirit and asks.

The great spirit was sitting on the edge of the dining table, with her small legs hanging over the edge of the table.

"Yes, I suppose." Being as supportive as she could be, the loli spirit tries her best to sound convincing, as she tells the answer he wanted to hear. She obviously didn't believe Subaru had a chance with Ram, but being his spirit, she hadn't want to tell the boy that fact.

Judging by the large smile on Subaru's face, it seems that Beatrice chose correctly.

"I'm team ElsaxMe!" He blurts out.

"I know that girl tried to peg me, but I feel like we bonded..." Subaru leans back into the chair, as he cheerfully talks about Elsa.

Just like the crazy boy had said, Elsa had already killed him in a loop before, but yet he somehow thinks of the assassin as a friend.

Any other normal person would've been afraid of the woman, or maybe a braver person may want to enact revenge on the assassin, but Subaru wasn't normal. He hadn't and still doesn't care that Elsa killed him, rather, he has a small amount of care for the assassin, something that not many people ellict out of him.

"I think I love that hottie, Beako." He tells his contracted spirit, as he stared up at the roof with a large smile on his face. His smile wasn't his normal smile, but instead one you would see on a normal person's face.

'So bleeping rude!'

"Isn't she the one who tried to hurt Betty's contractor?" The little spirit asked, wanting to see if she heard him right.

Over the days in the mansion, not only did Subaru spend his time with Ram, but he also spent it with the other residents of the mansion, with the main one being Beatrice.

The spirit and boy had gotten even closer in the days, with Beatrice having told Subaru many things about her life, and Subaru doing the same, except for the fact that he lied about everything he told the spirit, and left out the major fact that he's clinically insane.

What the crazy boy didn't lie about though, was his encounter with Elsa and the others. He told the great spirit exactly what happened, and even bragged about holding Reid once; which the spirit didn't believe.

"It was foreplay gone wrong, Beako. So what if she accidentally scrambled my guts with her thick, girthy, juicy kunai? It was done with consent!" He argues in defense of his killer.

"AHH!" Subaru suddenly falls off his chair and lets out a guttural scream.

His sudden scream, made his loli spirit adopt a terrified expression. The little girl was extremely worried for the boy, as through their contract, the little girl could feel Subaru's terrible feelings.

His face was unlike any expression he has shown in all of his years of living. The crazy boy looked truly terrified at what he thought of, and desperately tried to calm himself down.

'Holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit...'He repeated in his thoughts.

"Why is Elsa not in the tags?!" He screams out, as he looks wildly around the place.

The boy looked lost. He looked as if he was sudd––

"Fixed!" He suddenly exclaims, as he gets up from the floor. His terrified face was no where to be seen, rather, he looked to be in an amazing mood.

"..." Beatrice just stared at the boy with her mouth agape.

She felt the pure fear that the boy was feeling, and felt just how scared and confused the boy was, but those terrible emotions suddenly vanished from him.

"Let's go meet up with Rem." Ignoring his spirit's shocked expression, Subaru makes his way towards the dining room doors and stands there.

"You coming, Beako?" He asks with a tilt of his head.

The loli great spirit doesn't answer, instead, she nods her head and she walks up to the boy's side.

Subaru smiles down to his contracted loli spirit, and reaches his hand down to hers. The little girl takes his hand in her own, and then the pair begin to walk through the hallways.

Beatrice was in her thoughts, trying her best to understand what just occurred, whilst Subaru was smiling ear to ear, as he had a destination in mind.

The two continue to walk the hallways, until they make it to the front doors of the mansion.

Subaru's destination wasn't anywhere inside the mansion, but rather, a village near the mansion; Arlam Village.

He had first seen the village when he was in the carriage ride to the mansion, and had made a secret visit to the village on the first night of staying at the mansion, after he had snuck out of the mansion and made his way to the village.

He had no real reason to make a night visit to the village, but being as insane as he is, he; for some bizarre reason, thought it would be a fun idea to visit the place.

Unfortunately for the boy, he got his hand bit by a stray dog on his way back to the mansion, which to avoid the residents finding out he snuck out, he had to play it off as something else.

Him hiding the bite, would be something he greatly regr––

"Don't know what you're talking about Thirth Person. I never got bit by a mabeast." He shakes his head side to side, as he seemingly disagrees with his delusion.

"Anyways! While Thirth Person was blabbering its 'mouth', me and Beako sped walked all the way to the village!"

The boy and spirit had just arrived at the village, and had already caught the attention of a large portion of the villagers; especially because of Subaru's crazy ramblings

"I'm not crazy!" He says with a crazy smile.

His actions caused some kids that were going up to the boy to back off, with the exception of a orange-haired girl with a red ribbon fastened in her hair.

"U-Uhm...A-Are you from the mansion?" The girl timidly asks Subaru.

Just like the other children, the little girl was somewhat scared of Subaru because of his creepy looking smile, as well as how he presented himself.

The only reason the little girl went up to the crazy boy was not because she gathered some courage to approach the boy, but for the same reason Subaru has met with all the other people in the world: a force was pulling her towards the boy.

"Yup! The name's Subaru Natsuki and the loli beside me is Beatrice!" He proudly puffs his chest out as he introduces himself.

"P-Petra!" She quickly stutters out.

The little girl was slightly regretting going up to the boy. She wanted to walk away from the crazy boy, but she felt as if her legs were glued to the ground, preventing her from running away from the maniac Infront of her.

"Número 2 loli found!" Subaru snapped his finger and pointed at the poor young girl.

Just like any other person, Petra was put off by Subaru's weird behavior, and again tried to run away, but her legs wouldn't respond to her desires, so she had to stay put.

Subaru suddenly crouches to Beatrice's height and whispers in her ear.

"Psst~ isn't this loli supposed to have a massive crush on me?"He asks his spirit.

"Huff~ yes, I suppose." She heavily sighs.

Over the few days, Beatrice really enjoyed her time with Subaru, but at the moment, she was getting tired of Subaru's immaturity; mostly because she doesn't understand anything he's saying.

"I return by d—"

"GREATNESS' POV"

I hate Thirth Person.

This has nothing to do with that orange loli, but I need to talk about Thirth Person real quick.

Why. Why does it hate me so much? I gave nothing but love to it, but all it gives me in return is turning my friends away from me!

I fucking hate everything about Thirth Person.

You all probably don't know this but between chapters, Thirth Person completely goes completely silent on me. It only comes back when it narrates chapters for me and my friends.

It just leaves me all alone between chapters and I hate it.

I'll be open with y'all. I hate being alone.

I'm honestly scared between chapters when time is all frozen, especially because Thirth Person has been taking a while per chapter. Obviously you Wattpad and Fanfiction people won't get it yet, but Thirth Person was slacking off back at AO3 and took like months to get chaps out.

I thought it would be fun at first. In the time between chapter 1 and 2, I actually had fun exploring the world and all the new cool stuff it had to offer, but between chapter 4 and this one... Damn, it hit me hard.

I hate it.

Thirth Person is ignoring me to narrate other people's story.

So what if I'm not a gambling shota? So what if I'm not asleep in a theater? So what if I'm not a different person? So what if I'm not a girl? So what if I'm not as popular as your other narratings? So what if I'm Subaru Natsuki?

Why won't you focus on me Thirth Person

Please pay attention to me. I want to live my life.

Before my journey started, I actually had control over my life. Time actually flowed correctly. I actually had people who truly didn't care that I was self-aware, even though they didn't know of what I was talking about.

Ever since you came into my life, it has became so fucking tiring!

I am not insane. I am not crazy. I am not a fucking fictional character, I am Subaru Natsuki. I am real, so why can't I operate between chapters?

Time resumed.

The little loli spirit tilted her head in confusion at what Subaru was trying to say, but before she can open her mo––

"I am not done Thirth Person." Sub––

"Why does everything revolve around you? Why does it all stop when you disappear? Why." The boy falls to the ground.

"Why. Why are you so important? Why am I able to move and think in-between chapters, but yet nothing else can?"

The boy sounded truly broken.

"I return by death!" He manages to somehow scream out before time stops.

"My Pov"

Why?

Why is this happening to me right now? Why is...

Calm down Subaru... you need to get your act together...

Breathe in...breathe out...

Breathe in...breathe out...

Breathe in...breathe out...

You're a gag character Subaru! You're not supposed to be feeling this way, so stop it!

People came here for us to break sum fourth walls! Not being all sappy!

I bet Thirth Person is trying to manipulate me! It's probably, no, it's definitelyThirth Person giving me these emotions.

I never had them before, so obviously it's that fucker.

You almost got me Thirth Person, but unfortunately for you, I have special powers to never be manipulated!(Hopefully)

Enough with my blabbermouth, now, I have to deal with this...

Infront of me— actually, Thirth Person can explain it for me.

Dozens of shadowy hands.

Dozens of shadowy hands were protruding from Subaru's chest, with each hand having its own destination.

Half of the hands had made their way to their targets, but the other half were still slowly moving towards the other targets.

The targets? Anyone who heard Subaru's declaration of returning by death.

The first person to unfortunately be targeted by the hand was Subaru's own contracted spirit; Beatrice.

A shadowy hand had made it's way to Beatrice's chest, and phased through the little girl's chest and had grasped the little girl's "heart".

The next person to be targeted by the arms was Petra. The shadow arms had done the same to the orange-haired loli as it did to Beatrice, but instead of grasping a fake heart, it had actually been able to grasp a real human heart.

After the two little girls were grasped, the shadowy arms slowly wormed their way to the other villagers that were unfortunate to hear Subaru's words, and also grabbed onto their hearts.

The boy hadn't seen most of the arms reach their targets because of his mental breakdown, but now that the breakdown was over, he was now slightly taken aback at the arms around him.

The boy wasn't exactly the most shocked; mostly because he's an insane man, but he was still somewhat worried about what he had caused.

He knew he could always use the cursed power of his, but he honestly didn't want to resort to that power at the point in time. He had already gone through enough for the day, and didn't want to feel death another time.

"Uh-oh! Looks like I'm in a pickle." Despite the terrible situation, the boy in a tracksuit kept his chipper mood and walked freely around the space.

Even though most of the arms were attached to something, Subaru was surprisingly allowed to walk around without being hooked in place, with the arms stretching as he got further from certain targets.

Another surprising thing was that each arm felt solid if lightly touched, but if Subaru just slightly pushed against it, it would allow him to phase through it without breaking the shadowy arm.

As Subaru walked around the village in frozen time, Subaru stumbled upon a familiar person.

"Rem." He stops infront of the blue-haired maid.

The maid had gone to the village to restock on supplies earlier in the day, and had been just about to head back before she unfortunately heard Subaru's words.

Just like the other villagers, Rem too had a shadowy arm going through her chest and grasping her heart.

"I think I might have to off-screen this shit..." The boy sighs with a shake of his head.

"Before the chapter ends, I just wanna apologize to you Thirth Person." Subaru turns to the sky and says to hi––

"Shhh~ Let me talk."

"Look, I'm sorry for the words I said. I don't actually hate you, I just got all worked up."

"I love ya Thirth Person. I was being stupid earlier."

"I know you can't respond to me, and I know that you are busy narrating other people's lives, but please, please atleast pay attention to me."

"End the chapter fucker."
