Dr. Daniel Jackson and Teal'c of Chulak stumbled out of the Stargate into what they thought was the gateroom of Stargate Command, only to realize they were definitely somewhere else. By the looks of the concrete walls and high, small windows, a basement. Off to the left two teenage girls were sparring and even Teal'c was astonished at how hard and fast they were striking each other and how fast they threw off the blows and kept going. A middle age man watched from the sidelines and called corrections and advice periodically.

But it was the teenage male floating about three feet off the floor with his legs crossed and meditating while a woman in her thirties intoned instructions that really threw them.

Daniel looked over his shoulder expecting to see a Stargate and found - more basement and more teenagers. A girl floating a ball several inches above her hand, her eyes intently watching the ball as it slowly turned and then yelled as it was abruptly moving away.

"Johnathan! Give that back, I was practicing!" The girl exclaimed as laughter could be heard from someone they couldn't see. "You don't want me to curse you, do you, Johnathan?" She asked sweetly.

"Just playing." A boy's voice answered as another teenage boy suddenly appeared from under cloak, like the one Nirrti, a Goa'uld used, Daniel supposed. "You're getting good at that."

"Thanks, but it takes concentration and when you play tricks on me I lose it and then I have to work to get it back."

"But the unexpected happens too and you have to be prepared for the possibility and learn how to get it back fast."

"He's not wrong." The floating teenage boy said. "Ms. Calendar, meditating and me don't seem to get along very well, it's more Oz's thing." That's when they noticed another teenage boy and girl, both with red hair, sitting on the floor and meditating.

"I can't settle enough myself." The red haired girl said, as a blond sitting beside her stretched and spotted them.

"Oh! Who are you?!" Which had everyone suddenly going on the defensive. The floating boy dropped to his feet and stepped in front of the older woman, palms raised towards them as the two sparring girls swung to face them, each with their hands raised, ready to fight, as the older man gave them space. Glancing back behind him again, Daniel was startled to see the other girl's eyes had gone black as she chanted a prayer. "Goddess Hecate, hear your servant, grant me strength, grant me power!"

Hecate?

"Uh, we're not where we thought we would be." Daniel offered. "We stepped through the Stargate, or rather ran, since we were being chased and expected to step out at our home base, not wherever we are."

"Stargate?" The boy who had been floating asked.

"A large circular ring that produces a wormhole through space, I don't suppose you've seen it?" Daniel asked.

"No." The boy answered. "But considering that Dawn and Mrs. Summers left through a portal pretty much right where you're standing, I'm thinking their portal and your wormhole crossed paths. Great, Dawnie's lost again. We need to put a bell on that girl. Oh wait, I already did." Remembering the Magic chime he'd given her for when she was in an emergency situation.

"If what you mean by portal and what I mean by wormhole is the same thing, where's the equipment to generate it?" Daniel asked.

"Equipment is unnecessary." The boy answered. "Give me a minute and I'll see if we can't get this sorted out. Stay right where you are and surrender your weapons as a show of good will."

"I'm thinking the big guy doesn't need weapons, Xan." The small blond who'd been sparing stated. "And not because of his muscles, he can fight."

"Then he shouldn't have a problem setting down the weapon while we figure this out. Hand them to Johnathan, please." The boy who'd been invisible before stepped forward cautiously and Daniel handed over his p90 and his handgun as Teal'c reluctantly released his staff and let the boy take it.

"I'm going to scan you both and the area where the portal was, it'll give me the information we need to figure this out." The boy told them. "You can call me Xander, by the way and you guys are?"

"Dr. Daniel Jackson and Teal'c, we're from Earth." A statement which had them all laughing. "Um, we're sometimes called the Taur'i." Daniel continued. "Or you might know us as SG1."

"Okay, first off, Doc, you're on Earth." Xander told him. "But it's entirely possible you're not on your Earth. When Dawnie messes up on her portals she tends to end up in other realities."

"Oh, great, not again." Daniel groaned.

"Indeed." Teal'c intoned. "This would be our third encounter with another reality, although I, myself, have only visited one other, Daniel Jackson has visited two others."

"Great, then we're on the same page. Don't move while I scan you, okay."

"Scan us with what equipment?" Daniel asked.

"This equipment." Xander answered, pulling out the Eye and activating it.

Okay, the third eye was really convincing that they were in another reality. Possibly one that involved really good drugs.
