Dave pov.

And so we arrived at the hospital. Upon arrival both trunks of the cars popped open as we grabbed the stuff though arrival we had a reason to use them as more of those flying ladies and fatties showed up. After giving them a taste of 12 gauge and 7.62. We went to the hospital main door. Ashley smashed open the shutter wheel and sven quickly started spinning to close the shutter. While the rest of us kept the beasts at bay. A fatty tried to stop the shutter but was knocked back thanks to mr double barrel. So I'm glad I kept this man stopper from leafmore. We were safe but we were trapped. The next room was the main lobby. Where corey amy jay and professor james were waiting for us. Mei and amy gave their respective men hugs. And professor james found a battery and modified it to work with our equipment. Thank god for the internet. Means we could use weapons like the stun gun and chainsaw longer. So hurray!

As expected of a hospital. There's a lot of first aid kits around here. But what we really want to find is five certain items. Bleach, ascorbic acid, a block of ice, and caustic soda. The ingredients needed to make nitroglycerin. Our plan of escape involves getting to the ambulance parking lot via the storage area. And the only way to get there where we are is through a weak wall in the lobby. And the only way to knock it down is with something explosive.

While we looked around for the ingredients for boom boom. I heard screaming above…screaming that sounded like kenny screaming for shannon. First begging for help than turning into screams of rage. Lacey was clinging to me afraid as we searched the rooms…she was afraid. I was angry hearing this…not only did kenny not have a brain. He didn't have a spine. He gave in to those damn spores like a total wimp.

After finding the ingredients and mixing them. We put them in some red tubes and put the lid on with a flammable twine for a fuse. That's right. We made dynamite baby. Which we used to blow a hole right into the storage area. After some box pulling from sven and some climbing from corey. Who got up to a lift and brought it down so the rest of us could get to the next door…but of course it wasn't going to be that easy. As we got jumped by another monster. Who swiftly knocked out everyone but me lacey corey and mei. It turned around and i saw it's face…it was kenny!

"Finally looks like we're going to have a little party…" monster kenny said with a grin.

"You brainless…spineless….pathetic…ASSHOLE! It's bad enough your stupidity got us all infected with these spores! But you gave in like a total bitch!" i yelled. Monster kenny sneered at me.

"Who are you calling a bitch!? You'll how much of a bitch i am when i'm ripping you apart and then taking that pretty girl of yours for myself!" kenny yelled…i don't care anymore. His stupidity led to all of us getting infected. He gave in like a total bitch…and now he's threatening to violate my girl. I'm going…to RIP HIM APART!

3rd person pov.

Dark spores spouted from dave's body as he mutated into his monster form. Kenny managed to dodge the oncoming fist coming at him like a train. The punch was strong enough to cause the steel shutter to break off. He swung his massive arm at dave only for him to jump. Dodging it and coming back down to crush kenny. Kenny used his massive arms to jump out of the way. He then threw spores at dave. Of course it didn't work on dave. Spores don't work on someone who was already a monster. Proving dave right that kenny was a massive idiot. Even being a monster didn't change that. Dave threw a projectile that would work on anything. One of the wooden containers. Knocking kenny down. Dave came rushing at him like a freight train. Kenny once again used his massive arms to jump out of the way he landed near lacey who was trying to get her knocked out classmates out of danger. Kenny smiled as he grabbed lacey by her head. As he was about to crush lacey's head. He was blasted by a shotgun. A shotgun held by stan jones. Alongside shannon.

"Kenny. You've become a major jerk man!" stan yelled. He ignored stan and looked towards his sister.

"We're no longer family shannon. The same blood no longer runs through our veins…the pain is gone and i have opened my eyes." kenny said only to get slugged across the room.

"Opened your eyes my ass…you gave in to the spores because you're a bitch who couldn't man up and take the pain. Something stan josh and hell even ashley could do. Not helped by the fact that you snorted that junk proving that even 2 years. Your still as stupid as ever. Stan learned. You didn't…i hope the pain relief was worth it kenny…cause now i'm going to make you wish you manned the hell up when you were still human! I'M GOING TO MAKE THE PAIN THOSE SPORES PUT THROUGH YOU SEEM LIKE NOTHING TO WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU! YOU SPINELESS BRAINDEAD APE!" dave yelled. Finally gaining the ability to speak while in monster form. He came charging at kenny again. Kenny swung his arm at dave only this time to grab it. With newfound strength he began swinging him around into walls and into the stone floor. Dave smashed kenny into the ground. And then stepped on his shoulder and pulled his arm and swung his blade arm cutting off kenny's massive arm. Dave then used his arm like a club. Repeatedly smashing him with it. Kenny used his remaining arm to swing at dave knocking him back into a shelf of boxes. Bloodied and down a limb. He knew he lost this round. He made his escape by jumping up the shelves. And climbing through a hole in the ceiling. Dave got up and looked at him with pure anger and disgust. The only thing could do was grit his teeth at the monster that destroyed him.

"Coward…always was…always will be." dave said as he changed back into his human form. "Thanks for saving my girl stan." dave said.

"No problem…but you have some explaining to do! What the hell was that?" stan asked. Dave sighed.

"My body adapted to the spores like shannons did. But instead of being able to influence the spores…i can become a monster at will. Retaining my sanity unlike…dickless who just escaped. Any respect I had for that jackass just went out the window. Not only was the idiot who got us into that mess at leafmore. He's also a pathetic wimp who gave into the spores in his blood…should have led him be friedmans lab rat." dave said with utter spite.

"Dave!...enough." shannon said. Clearly heartbroken about kenny. He was her brother after all.

"Whatever…" dave said. Everyone soon started regaining consciousness. Confused at the carnage and destruction that happened while they were out. "Your van's outside right?" dave asked.

On the road.

Everyone was in stan's van as it drove away from the hospital. As the van headed out of fallcreek. Lacey in dave's arm pulled out her diary…she looked back over her old entries…she felt that they were so childish now…probably because tonight was the death of her innocence and she now knew what hell truly meant.

Lacey's diary entry june 25th 2005.

Dave confessed to me today! And of course i said yes! ️ He saved our band! He really is a nice guy when you see past his gloomy edginess! Though some people gave us weird looks…wonder why?

I had so much fun today! hung out with maisie and jay and had a date with dave! Went to see all my favorites spots and dave showed me a place at the park that is so peaceful it was really nice…i wonder what more adventures await lacey and the jammers.

I got a creepy message from someone stalking me…i was too scared to stay in my room. So i went to daves. He called me again…he was right at my door . I'm glad i went to daves…he found me there and crawled through dave's window. But thankfully. My boyfriend was packing heat

Lacey's diary entry june 21st 2005.

Well my stalker problem has ended…in a rather grotesque and terrifying way. Dave got stabbed by the creep and he was about kill me next…but dave turned into some raging beast and eviscerated him. I still remember the splatter of guts and bone fragments that was once his upper half now splattered on a tree . And i found out something really scary…that those spooky stories that jay told me about leafmore high…those weren't just a hoax…that was real how do i know…my boyfriend was someone who survived that mess. I know why he was so moody now when he wasn't with me…his innocence was gone now he lived with an unholy burden in his veins….but i'll always be there for him. That's what a girlfriend should do right? I love dave. ️ i will always be there with him.

I still can't believe this…monsters have overtaken the city. And whatever caused this…it got to maisie as well. She took her own life. Choosing to die a human then become another hideous beast…she's gone
