A large 6 wheeled speedy tank has caught Sonic as Sonic sees a large Motor Bug with 6 monster wheels, causing Sonic to hastily grab the claw, only for the wheel to be close between his legs.

Sonic hastily spins his legs backwards while trying to run from becoming a hedgehog pancake.

"Nowhere to run, you rotten hedgehog, baha-hahaaa!" Scratch cackles.

"You guys again!" Sonic is now doomed, realising that Eggman's iconic duo is back to end his life.

"That's right!" Grounder shows up, laughing along with his partner Scratch.

"Grounder! Let's squash him! To the wall!" Scratch yells, only for a large Motor Bug to steer towards the wall.

"Aye aye, Scratch!" Grounder agrees while steering as hard as he could.

"BAHA-HAHAAA!" Scratch hollers with laughter as the moment of pay is in his hands.

Sonic is still in grave danger as his wounds are still fresh and painful as well as not able to use the chaos emeralds at the right time, giving Sonic a major disadvantage.

Behind the duo on a large Motor Bug's back, Amy is carrying Breezie while carrying a pipe and chain as her limited arsenal.

While placing Breezie down in the backseat, Scratch and Grounder turn around as they see their ally moaning.

"Oh, it's Breezie." Grounder said with surprise.

"Hey, Breezie! How's the bait job going?" Scratch asks with a positive smile.

After that the chain yanks Scratch by the neck as Scratch squarks.

"Scratch!" Grounder yelled.

"Hiyah!" Amy bonks Grounder with a pipe and then tosses the duo from the vehicle.

Now Amy is the driver, struggling to take the wheel as if there's so many contraptions to press.

"Um. Is this it?" Amy pushes the leaver, causing the vehicle to speed up as its engine revving increases causing Sonic to trip and slide as the wheel is between his legs again.

"What the!? Amy! Stop the bug!" Sonic shouts while he's getting closer to the tyre.

"Uh oh! Um! Uh… Is this it?" Amy presses the button, firing the missiles as it blows up the mountain walls, leading to Amy immediately hitting brakes and sliding while steering.

As the vehicle stops while being on the ledge, Sonic quickly takes Breezie out of the Motor Bug until he hears Amy shrieking, causing him to rush back towards the large Motor Bug.

As the vehicle falls, Amy screams, only for her arm to be clenched by none other than Sonic himself.

Amy gasps with surprise, seeing Sonic grunt as pins and needles are stinging his whole body as he lifts Amy up.

Finally, both hedgehogs lie down after being safe from Eggman's robots, until an explosion has their attention.

A robot generator is being crushed by a destroyed Motor Bug, leading to Sonic and Amy to look at each other and then laugh.

As for Scratch and Grounder at Collision Chaos, both robots groan as they pick themselves up.

"Beaten by a pink hedgehog?" Scratch asks.

Grounder nods while rubbing his dented head.

"Great. Now the boss is going to be angry at us again." Scratch moans out of depression.

Appearing is Metal Sonic who folds his arms at the two of them, not impressed with what they're doing earlier.

"Metal!" Scratch exclaims as he and Grounder slides in front of him while bowing in front of Metal Sonic. "We didn't mean to barge you! All we were doing was focusing on Sonic and nothing else!" Scratch lied as Grounder nodded.

Metal Sonic ignores them and looks from afar, knowing where Sonic went through as he walks forward.

"Fine! Ignore us then! Hmph! People these days!" Scratch folds his arms as he growls.

"I know! The nerve of that guy!" Grounder does the same as he looks away from Metal Sonic.

The truth is Metal Sonic couldn't forget how Breezie made him feel as it's the only remaining thing he has left.

Is it love?

Is it a natural emotion?

Or is it the desire to become Nicky and Sonic?

Tidal Tempest, Past

Later, Amy sprays the wounds and cuts that Sonic received from Metal Sonic.

"Ouch!" Sonic can feel the sting from what happened to him earlier.

"Stop squirming! Geez, I can't believe what this Eggman did. Sending robots to hurt you and running you over." Amy sighs out of displeasure.

"At least there isn't roadkill." Sonic says while moving his arm up for Amy to spray on.

Finally, Amy puts a band aid on Sonic's mouth while helping him recover.

"There we go! All patched up and you'll be better in no time!" Amy cheerfully claps while lifting Sonic for him to stand up.

"Thanks, Amy. You're a real help." Sonic smiles at Amy with genuine warmth.

Amy blushes as she sees Sonic being nice to her after being separated.

Amy also did the same to Breezie, but less as she's fine.

"Sonic. Maybe you need some time as well. Don't go shouldering that burden for others. If Sonic has a heart for others, then let us help. We're always friends and we'll make everyone happy, no matter what. Stop the evil and start the good, we're always there for each other." Amy made a speech for Sonic to remind himself what he did earlier was wrong.

"Amy. Just like Mighty, Ray and Tania, I'll never forget about you. Also, I'll protect you no matter what, because I'm still Nicky." Sonic concludes with a confident smile.

Amy remembers why Sonic is still keeping her safe, because Nicky did a lot for Amy in their school times, even saving her from the bullies despite being beaten up.

Before Amy hugs Sonic, the duo halts as they see Breezie moaning while waking up.

"Miss Breezie!" Amy slides down as Sonic kneels in front of Breezie.

"Are you alright?" Sonic asked while helping Breezie stand up.

"Sonic?" Breezie turns, gasping as she witnesses Amy right in front of her.

"Miss Breezie?" Amy called.

"You… Why?" Breezie recognises the pink fur from her past as she crawls backwards from Amy.

"We're here to save you. Come with us, Miss Breezie." Amy sounded like a wise girl for someone her age.

As Amy reaches her arm, a slap has caught Sonic and Amy off guard as Amy yelps while rubbing her hand.

"Get away from me! You think you can help after years of watching me suffer!?" Breezie snaps as it definitely did catch both hedgehogs off guard.

"Look, Breezie. What Amy did is report everyone including me. I heard it all." Said Sonic.

"And you're okay with people tormenting you!?" Breezie growls, knowing Sonic is too calm.

"Amy did report this to Miss Wing, so at least cut her some slack!" Sonic pulls Breezie's shirt while trying to stay calm.

In Breezie's view, how can Sonic move on after what happened to him from bullying to being attacked by a mad scientist she worked for.

"Look. I know Anton is a terrible bully, but we need to move on. It's hard for us, but I know we can do it." Sonic said with encouragement.

Why is Sonic always like this? Breezie grunts while lowering her head.

She did remember Miss Wing intervenes and harshly punish Anton and his siblings, even excluding them from school for their horrible behaviour.

Breezie stops herself and turns around by walking through a sea cave.

"Sorry. I'm just tired, that's all." Breezie said as she's losing her cool overtime.

Breezie enters a giant ring as a way to search for the 4th time stone, only for Sonic and Amy to be worried as Sonic never felt this worried ever since before he left Meg.

Quartz Quadrant, Present

The bike slides on a very different location as both Tekno and Johnny arrive in an industrial underground.

The lack of robots is a safest place for them to be in for now as Tekno parks her bike and walks with Johnny to check for the connection through an Eggman device.

"Those abnormal readings…" Tekno is seeing the readings of a time paradox.

"What is it, Tekno?" Johnny asked.

"Ever since the doctor's tampering the past, the Little Planet is collapsing itself." Tekno explained.

"Seriously!? That means we're destroying the planet!?" Johnny is shocked to hear what's happening.

"Indeed we are. The doctor is damaging all life there and we made things worse. It turns out, we're fighting against the dying world." Tekno points out, realising the damage caused by her and her friends and enemies.

"Indeed you are." A familiar voice called.

To Johnny and Tekno's shock, they come across a purple jerboa who is folding his arms and flick his hat up with a grin.

"You're…" Johnny gasped as he and Tekno were on guard.

"Fang the Sniper, and I'm here to take you back, canary girl." Said Fang.

"Take me back? You mean…"

"Looks like you figured it out! The doc and I made a deal! Once we take not only the chaos emeralds, but the time stones as well, the world will be his and the riches are mine!" Fang laughs while flipping his popgun out and points at Tekno.

Behind is a giant ring as Tekno and Johnny sees Fang and Eggman at the restaurant on earth, leading to the duo to grunt.

Inside a restaurant.

"What do you want, fatty?" Fang grumbles while drinking root beer.

"That wasn't very nice." Eggman sits down at a table while looking at Fang. "So I heard you're after the emeralds too, huh?"

"What's it to you? You're a threat and a hindrance to my work of getting rich." Fang growled and slammed his cup on the desk.

As Eggman reveals a large sack of cash and raises his hand.

"What in the…"

"I like your enthusiasm from earlier. How about we work together to hunt that blue needlemouse down together. Your creations are a lot more useful to me than anything I come across." Eggman offers Fang a job as his grin widens with a sinister look to his face.

To Fang's surprise, he too hates Sonic and is willing to get what he wants once he's done with Sonic himself.

Fang smirks while shaking Eggman's hand.

"Deal." Fang answered.

"A simple persuasion is what helps out a little old me. Ohohoho!" Eggman laughs.

In the end, a human scientist and a jerboa formed an alliance which is to hunt down Sonic the Hedgehog.

In the present, Johnny and Tekno are witnessing a wanted criminal working with a madman as if they're making things worse for others.

"Hm. While Eggy is busy with the time stones, I'm about to bust a cap in yo' butts!" Fang finally raises a popgun, leading to Johnny blocking Tekno while glaring at Fang.

"Johnny!? What are you doing!?" Tekno gasps as Johnny is trying to hurt himself to protect Tekno.

"You can try all you want! But you can't hurt my friends! Especially Sonic!" Johnny is prepared for the worst as he raises his fists.

"Listen, kid. You're not blue, you're not annoying and you're not fast enough to dodge a cork. Are you really trying to get yourself killed?" Fang asked, confused about a child protecting a young teen.

While Johnny refuses to move, Fang sighs as he lowers his gun and then grins.

"Fine by me!" Fang laughs while preparing to shoot Johnny.

As Fang pulls a trigger as a cork bullet zips out with a bang, alerting Tekno to push Johnny until a cork hits her chest, leading Tekno to be thrown and crash into her motorbike, knocking her unconscious.

"TEKNO!" Johnny screams and rushes to her while shaking her. "Tekno!? Tekno!? Oh no! Come on! Wake up!"

"Boom! Now come with us, rabbit boy. You and the canary." Fang warned while clicking his popgun.

"You! Why're you doing this!?" Johnny yells while blocking Tekno from Fang.

"Money. Now come with us or your little beak faced friend goes bye bye." Fang's warning is becoming worse as Johnny's heart sinks.

Before Johnny fights back, he thinks back about how Sonic was able to beat Eggman and was okay with teaching him some skills, leading Johnny to step forward until he walks and runs.

Yelling, Johnny is jumping, catching Fang off guard as he exclaims.

"Huh!?"

After that Johnny lands on Fang as Fang grunts, seeing Johnny forcefully pinning him down and throws a fist at his face.

"Gh! You little!" Fang receives another fist to the face as Johnny has had it with Eggman's horrible deeds.

This led to Fang thrust himself by making Johnny lose his balance and then kicking Johnny to the crystal as it smashed.

"Not bad… Now I'm starting to hate you as much as I hate that blue rat!" Fang growls, picking up his popgun and targets Johnny, who is trying to pick himself up.

Glitching out of nowhere, the robots from the past appears as there appears to be a bunch of them, such as new modelled Caterkiller called Kemusi, jumping spider robots called Kumo-Kumo, gastropod snail robots called Noro-Noro and blue scorpion robots called Sasori.

Fang flips out a blue time stone, smiling as if Eggman has succeeded in bringing his robots to the past to make his future.

"Breezie, what's taking you so long? You should be back with them by now." Fang sighs after he frowns, knowing Breezie was never this late before as he was told by Eggman.

As Johnny stands up, both Sasoris grip their claws on Johnny's arms, forcing him to move towards the rebuilt Marvelous Queen.

As both Tekno and Johnny are stuck in Fang's hands, Fang pulls out his speaker with an Eggman insignia on it.

"Hey, boss. Where's Breezie?"

[Strange. I thought she'd be here by now. Fang, keep continuing on searching for the time stones. Metal Sonic will be handling it.] Eggman ordered.

"Sure, old man. I'll make sure the time stones are as good as ours." Fang hangs up his speakers and waves his arm to the robots while walking past the badniks.

Tidal Tempest, Past

Sleeping around the campfire, Amy is resting peacefully whereas Sonic is watching the nighttime sky while thinking about the past.

As Sonic lies down, Sonic is sighing as he's relieved to rest for the night until tomorrow.

Before he closed his eyes.

"NOOOOOOOO!"

"Huh?" Sonic sits up after hearing a scream from a distance.

"Mmn? What's going on?" Amy moans while rubbing her eyes.

"That can't be good." Sonic quickly jumps over Amy and runs towards the voice.

In Sonic's eyes, he gasps and immediately turns around from the view inside of a ring portal.

"Sonic? What's happening?" Amy arrives, worried about what's happening to Breezie.

"Don't look." Sonic warns until the ring portal closes and a thud happens.

To Amy's shock, Breezie is unconscious on the ground while carrying a purple time stone, leading Sonic and Amy to lift Breezie up.

"Breezie!?" Amy calls out of worry.

"I don't know what's going on, but I think Breezie is scared of her own past." Sonic points out with worry in his eyes. "Amy, take care of Breezie. I'll find out what's happening."

As Amy nods, Sonic picks up the ring and runs from both hedgehog girls in order to see what's happening alone.

Sonic is unsure what's going on, but Sonic is sure that something is happening behind the ring portal that made Sonic question what is this scenery.
