"It all started when I returned to Metropolis. Metal Sonic is unfinished, but was running some tests. Then I see them. The prince and his girlfriend. I found it beautiful that they're there for each other, but unfortunately I had to make due. My condolences for what I have done to those you're close to."

"What are you talking about?"

"Hm? You don't understand? Then I'll have to explain further. Elias Acorn is an interesting one. He fought to defend his girlfriend, although he wasn't much of a challenge, he actually did some damage to Metal. So if the little one is more than just a challenge, then we're seeing a pattern."

"What do you mean by pattern?"

"The doctor's battles with the one called Nicky, who is now Sonic the Hedgehog. It turns out it's not just Nicky who was getting stronger, but his little sister as well. Does that have anything to do with the chaos emeralds? Or is it their determination?"

"What does that mean!? You're not making any sense!"

"Joss, is it? What I'm saying is…"

CLANG!

"You should move over. Angry hedgehog child is throwing knives." The black biker man concluded.

Closer to the bike helmet is the round tip of an energy blue Deathcalibur, which turns out to be caught by Metal Sonic, even the black biker man didn't flinch as he's unafraid.

Following that is a lightspeed that's hitting Metal Sonic as both Metal Sonic and his opponent are rolling outside in the city.

Immediately, Tania swings Caliburn diagonally, showing anger as she's desperate to tear Metal Sonic apart.

Metal Sonic blocks and then swings his arm by slapping Caliburn off of Tania's hand, only to be punched in the face by Tania herself.

After a fist, Tania charges her spin dash while Metal Sonic prepares himself, only for Tania to zoom past, summon a sword again and successfully cut Metal Sonic's arm after he attempted another block.

This leads to Metal Sonic to jump while spinning, making Tania confused about him being a gymnast or a ballerina.

The foot Metal Sonic raises alerts Tania to block as she zips to the other side and cross slash with Caliburn and Deathcalibur, causing Metal Sonic to do the same by dodging and then boots Tania's face towards the building.

As the building collapses, in a split second, Metal Sonic slaps Caliburn away and then Deathcalibur which renders him unguarded to the point that Tania headbutts Metal Sonic's torso and drop kicks him.

Another spin dash as Metal Sonic is scraped by the other arm, realising that unlike Elias, Tania is something else which makes him release chaos energy out of his body.

Before Tania hits the face, Metal Sonic grabs a spinning quill ball and then slams her down as Tania grunts and is then kicked to the stomach as she slides on the ground.

While picking herself up, Tania is witnessing inside the warehouse that is Joss being cornered by Buzz Bombers and Eggrobos.

"Mr. Joss!" Tania instantly materialises and chucks Caliburn like a boomerang.

This leads to all the robots being split into 2 as they explode in front of Joss and the black biker man, only for them to see birds and chickens flock out of the warehouse for freedom.

To the biker's shock, Tania is closer to him with 2 swords, making him jump and dodge as Tania swings nonstop.

After the biker man ducks, Tania misses both a horizontal and a vertical swing at the black biker man, only for Joss to dive onto the biker as they land on the ground.

"Tania!" Joss shouted.

Raising both swords, Tania is about to finish off the faceless man, only for Metal Sonic to appear, dive kick Tania's face and then grab Joss and chuck him to the broken cages as he crashes.

As the biker man stands up, he turns towards Tania, whose eyes are glowing red as tears are dropping out of her.

"Why!? Why always us!? We didn't do anything to you!" Tania yells as she rushes and swings both swords at Metal Sonic and the biker.

After that, Metal Sonic is still covered in chaos energy, scanning Tania's body as he sees her as a threat.

Panting, Tania sees Metal Sonic approaching her and raises his hand, making her confused.

This doesn't help as Tania tightens her grip with both swords, making her walk with both swords scraping to the ground, even Metal Sonic walks while sharpening his claws.

"The child of a runaway queen. She seems to have a similar spirit to Nicky. It seems they're qualified to be the real him. But I know who's the real Sonic." The biker said.

Finally, both Tania and Metal Sonic zooms at mach speed, clashing with both swords with Metal Sonic's arm.

With Metal Sonic kicking both swords towards the sky, he clenches on Tania's arm and swings his fist on Tania's face, causing her to fall and immediately stand up and spin dash on Metal Sonic's face.

This causes Metal Sonic to spin dash as both a yellow and a blue ball are buzzing on one another, giving Tania the upper hand to boot Metal Sonic towards a different building.

Grunting, Tania can feel something surging all over her body as both swords are dropped and vanished, leaving Tania to feel pain.

Before Metal Sonic stands up, Tania screams as she releases chains out of her bracelets, piercing through Metropolis city, even Metal Sonic is seeing chains everywhere, making it difficult for him to move until he sees a pile of rubble above him.

Then crash!

Afterwards, Tania is panting, finding herself in a chain filled city, making her look at Metal Sonic's body with no irises turned on.

Tania is surprised that she managed to beat Eggman's strongest creation, making her gasp with joy.

"I… I won! YEAH! I did it!" Tania cheers while raising both of her arms.

While lying down and still bleeding, Elias is surprised that his surrogate little sister managed to beat a robot this fast, making him smile and push himself up to stand until he falls.

"It's not over yet." The black biker man said, making Elias look up with confusion.

"What?"

"Metal Sonic is still alive." The black biker man is right.

Before Tania turns around, she gasps as she witnesses Metal Sonic levitating in front of her, clenching his fist on Tania's throat as Tania exclaims.

Finally, Metal Sonic pierces his claw through Tania's stomach, causing her to yell as she coughs.

Elias gasped, horrified that a robot stabbed a child and then released the chains out of his body.

[COPY DATA… IDENTITY: TANIA THE HEDGEHOG. LEARNED: CHAOS CHAINS.]

"Gak! Wha…" Tania is struggling to move after the claw is removed from her stomach.

After Tania is tossed to the ground as blood is sprayed around her, Metal Sonic looks at his own hand, shaking as if he found out what he had done.

In his mind, he killed his own sister which caused him to fall to his knees.

"TANIA!" Elias screamed.

"Metal Sonic, before we retreat. Take the bodies with us. We need them a- Huh?" The biker man stops as his helmet cracks.

As the helmet shatters in half, his face is revealed to be a dark skinned bearded man, Agent Stone.

"I really need a new helmet." Agent Stone sighs as he sits on a broken box.

As for Elias, he's crawling towards Tania desperately after witnessing what's happening to her.

A trail of blood is out of Elias after what happened to him earlier.

That makes the 3 of them, Elias, Megan and Tania are fatally injured as they're suffering blood loss.

"Tania… Tania… Don't die… Please… Your brother…He…" Before Elias finishes his sentence, he coughs as he's grabbing Tania's hand.

"Big… Brother… I won… I…" Tania coughs as blood is spat out of her mouth. "I defeated Metal Sonic…"

Elias grunts as he and Tania sees blue and green chains vanishing, making the duo lie as Elias is on his stomach and Tania is lying to the side.

"It hurts…" Tania can feel the pain as if it makes her cry.

"I know…" Elias is the same way as the duo are slowly closing their eyes.

"Big… Brother…"

After that Tania and Elias are unable to move.

"Elias… Tania… No… No…" Megan crawls towards Tania and Elias' bodies, realising they're both done for after their fight against Metal Sonic.

Megan sobs as she leans onto both hands as 3 bloodied ones are unable to face Eggman at that rate.

Agent Stone frowns as he pities Megan for the loss of Tania and Elias.

"Metal Sonic. Let's take them to the lab. Not for the doctor, but to save them. We can't leave them to die." Agent Stone expresses his regret after what he did to Tania and the Acorn couple, making him feel bad for them.

As Metal Sonic stands up, he looks at Tania, Elias and Megan, causing Megan herself to look up out of shock.

"Please… Don't do this to us…"

"We're not going to harm you this time. Come with us. You'll recover in no time." Agent Stone picks Megan up as he lets Metal Sonic carry Elias and Tania, seeing as a trail of blood is the result of Metal Sonic's massacre.

Tania and Elias, best friends that created a bond as a way of saving their people.

Tania has found a big brother and Elias has found a little sister.

When they wake up, Eggman is theirs.

20XX August 7th

Kingdom of Acorn

Back in the dining hall, King Nigel drops the green chaos emerald as he gasps, realising that Tania's memories are more grim than he expected.

The worst part about it is his own son's fate.

"Elias… Megan… No…"

"Why… Elias…" Sally's eyes widened as tears were flowing out of her, witnessing her own brother's death.

"Not just Elias…" Tails realised that it went downhill, making his eyes widen out of shock.

"Tania! Tania!" Amy wails after she finds out her own friend is being killed by Eggman's robot.

As for Sonic, he remained shocked, tears were leaking as he failed to reunite with his sister.

His hope and his happiness…

Gone.

"Tania…"

The G.U.N. soldiers are confused, but they can understand that they're upset after Nigel's Chaos Control.

"What is it? Tell us." Madonna wants to know what's happening.

"Our friend. She and her friends are gone." Tails answered as his tone was calm yet scared.

Sonic and Sally comforts Amy while Amy herself clings onto Sonic as she still wails.

Sonic is shaking out of shock and grief that his own family member is killed.

"Wait, you're saying that our son is…" Queen Alicia slams the table as she stands up out of shock.

Nigel nods as he closes his eyes with tears coming out, causing Alicia to sink back to her seat out of shock.

"From what I heard… It's unfortunate that the kids are gone." Said the Commander, knowing to respect the dead.

"Unfortunate!? My son is dead! How can you be this calm about it!?" Alicia shouted while standing back up.

"Please remain calm, Queen Acorn." Madonna called out while patting Alicia's shoulder.

"HOW CAN I REMAIN CALM!?" Alicia screamed, causing Madonna to take a few steps back out of shock.

That is until she heard about Tails being friends with Tania and it bleeds into her being Sonic's brother.

"You! You two are to blame!" Alicia snapped.

"What!?" Sonic and Tails exclaimed.

"Why is it always Tails!? Can't you blame anyone else but him!?" Amy yelled while she hugged Tails.

"Quiet, hedgehog! That little brat is the reason why my son is dead! A parasite!"

This causes Sonic to stand on the table and pull Alicia's dress collar, glaring at her in the eyes as Sonic and Alicia are at each other's throats.

Thus alerts the soldiers to point their guns at Sonic as they yell.

"Hey!"

"Let the queen go!"

"Hold your fire!" The Commander shouts while stopping the soldiers from holding the trigger.

"Listen here, queeny! Bullying my friends is one thing, but saying that about my sister is crossing the line! Don't you dare say that about her! Not even your son!" Sonic snapped while headbutting Alicia and growling.

"You don't know anything. Miles Prower is the reason-"

"Tails is never the reason! You're the same as Eggman! You're a bully! A bully to Tails and his mom and a bully to everyone around! What about Sally? I bet you don't care about her!" Sonic is not having Alicia's excuses as he pulls her closer.

"Y- You!" Alicia is now at a loss for words after Sonic called her out.

"Yeah! You tell her, Sonic!" Amy shouted.

"I said let her go!" One G.U.N. soldier warned.

"Hold your fire! Commander! Do something!" Madonna exclaimed.

"HOLD YOUR FIRE!" The Commander yelled.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Nigel explodes as he slams his palms on the table and releases his energy sword between Sonic and Alicia, making them exclaim out of shock.

Everything went silent as Nigel glared at Sonic and Alicia, knowing their argument was falling apart.

"I want all of you to sit back down! Alicia, Sonic is right, young Miles was never the reason why Tania, Elias and Megan are gone. Your blind hatred towards Rosemary Prower just feigns ignorance hence you automatically blame Miles for the things he didn't do." Nigel expressed his frustration towards Alicia, knowing that it all lies within the past.

"But Nigel…" Before Alicia protests, Nigel places his hand on Alicia's face.

"Think about our daughter for once! The Guardian Units of Nations are here to help us face Dr. Eggman, so don't waste that opportunity. Let the kids go, give Sally something for once." Nigel pleads while letting Sonic go back to his seat.

As Alicia sees Sally grieving for her brother, Alicia is shocked to the point of falling back to her chair.

Even the G.U.N. soldiers are back in their seats, silent about what's been happening for a long time.

Although Alicia refuses to apologise to Tails, Tails actually pity Alicia as he knows how much Alicia loved her family, making him sit back up calmly.

"It's okay, Amy."

"But, Tails…" Amy knows how hurt Tails is by the Queen's treatment toward him.

"I know how she felt. Maybe I can do something about that." Tails nods while sitting straight up.

As Amy lets go, Sally nods to Tails as Tails himself nods back.

This leads to Amy lifting her head up with surprise.

The one behind the bike helmet had Amy remembering the one from earlier, making her stand up.

The words that Isabella the Mongoose rings true from Eggman's words: 'You fools think I'm the only one being a traitor? Guess again, there are more traitors among us. Make sure to find them unless the infiltrators succeed in their goals.'

"Wait! Everyone! I think I found out who took Tania and others! Miss Isabella told us that there's a traitor with you guys and Eggman's right, he's not the only one you should search for!" Amy shouted.

This causes a lot of clamouring, only for Sonic and Tails to gasp as they remember who it was.

As the trio turn towards Agent Stone, Amy approaches him while looking up as Agent Stone looks down with confusion.

"You did this. Didn't you, Agent Stone?"
