In the same place where Blade had first used the magic mirror, Momonga was sitting in a special chair. That was because he had a desk in front of him, and beside him was Albedo. She was reading a special report.
"According to Aura's report, your beasts have been roaming the forest near the village. Except for you and Lord Vlad, we have confirmed the existence of several small tribes of goblins, ogres, and trolls located near the forest, along with groups of lizardmen living on the other side," Albedo reports.
"We are about to increase the expansion of the Tomb of Nazarick. There have been no sightings of Yggdrasil magic since what happened with those men. Finally, the commander of those men, who is called Nigun, was the Commander-in-Chief of the Special Units of the Scripture of Sunlight, from the Slane Theocracy," Albedo finishes reading.
"Slane Theocracy…", Momonga repeats seriously, although inside he had a lot of conflict and mystery.
He could remember yesterday perfectly; his friend had gone to save a village, the duo obtained valuable information about the world they were now in. And that was not all, because they met Gazef Stronoff, considered the strongest warrior of the Kingdom of Re-Eztise. Just as those knights who had attacked the village returned but with more troops, and their leader.
The troops of Gazeff faced them, who used the divine creatures known as 'Angels' to attack. When they were about to lose, Momonga decided to intervene, easily finishing off the Knights' Angels.
The two travelers from the other world were left blank when the leader of the knights unexpectedly took out a sealing crystal, from Yggdrasil, as well as summoned 'Domain Authority', a class of Angel of great power between levels 40 to 60.
For the Sorcerer, it only took one spell to end the summoning, causing the Scripture of Sunlight to beg, but they were captured. Once the three returned to Nazarick, Momonga announces that his name will now be Ainz Ooal Gown, as well as orders the NPCs to spread his name in the New World.
Returning to the present, Ains knew that now they should not come into contact with the Slane Theocracy, not until they have gained more power and influence in this World. And even less so not knowing if the Theocracy has more powerful spells and summons from Yggdrasil.
"Lord Ains, I am curious, what do you plan to do with the village you saved?" Albedo asks.
Her words brought Momonga out of his mind, "Carne Village is a point of support, and a backup. Also, the villagers are indebted to me. For the time being, let them get on with their lives."
"Understood, my Lord. That was the last of my daily report."
Before Albedo could express her love for her master, and lord, the doors of the hall opened, giving way to Shalltear.
"Lord Ains, I hope you are doing well," the vampire greeted elegantly, "
"Greetings Shalltear, what brings you here."
"I have come to lay my eyes on your exquisite form, just laying my eyes on you brings me the greatest joy," the aforementioned expressed with a blush on her face.
"If that's all, then go away Shalltear, Lord Ains and I were busy discussing important matters," Albedo says with restrained anger.
"Old ladies are truly a very sad thing, clinging to whoever they can, because they're past their prime."
"Oh, and you're supposed to be young and strong enough to choose?" I'm sure, what you're showing is definitely impressive, but I think we all know how much padding you put on." Albedo sneered looking at Shalltear's bust.
"I'll kill you bitch!" the aforementioned roared with a sinister red aura surrounding her body.
"Not if I do it first bitch!" replied the sentiment Albedo with a sinister violet aura surrounding her body.
"Both of you! Stop arguing." Ains ordered.
Immediately, the two turned to look at him and their auras disappeared, to confirm with a bow.
"What is your main reason for coming, Shalltear?"
"Of course. I just came to inform you that I am about to join Sebas and Solution, who has already left under your orders. So I have come to say goodbye," Shalltear answered the question.
Momnga nodded slightly. Also remembering that after returning to Nazarick, and announcing to the NPCs that now will pass his name to Ainz Ooal Gown, he and his friend seriously discussed the next step to follow with their plans.
In short, Nazarick and them were broke. If they used Yggdrasil's gold coins in this New World, they would totally attract attention, especially since they still had the doubt about whether the rumors of the gold would reach the Slane Theocracy, where there is a chance that there are players allied with it, and these are not at all friendly.
Therefore, the first thing they should do is get money.
Momonga was in doubt about how to get it, but Blade was the one who proposed that he himself would become an Adventurer. Not only will he get money more quickly and efficiently, but also as he increases in rank in the Adventurer's Guild, he will obtain different sources of information.
Momonga accepted his friend's proposal, but indicated that he should take one of the Pleiades with him. After some serious discussion, the duo agreed that the perfect choice would be Narberal, who is a doppelganger, able to shapeshift easily, as well as being calm and collected.
The duo will begin by going to the Guild located in the city of E-Rantel, the same one that the mayor of Carne Village informed them was the closest to their current location.
But not only Blade, and Narberal had that mission abroad. They also expressed that they need more eyes, and ears elsewhere. In this case, Sebas, Solution, and Shalltear.
Sebas and Solution's mission was to act as nobles of the Baharuth Empire, while living in the capital of the Re-Eztise Kingdom, while wearing those disguises they will not only gain influence among the Nobles, but they will begin to investigate, explore and more the area of the Capital.
And finally, the Vampire will travel with them for a while, because later she will have the mission of looking for strong warriors to be able to investigate the Martial Arts that they saw Gazeff use.
The duo gave Sebas some low-level equipment, based on the strength of the humans they killed, equipment enchanted with second and third-level magic shouldn't be too uncommon.
The doors opened again, but this time it gave way to a man in dark clothes, almost looking like a living shadow.
"Salbot."
Momnga named one of the strongest NPCs in the Tomb of Nazarick, his power almost equal to that of the guardians.
"Miss Albedo, may I speak to Lord Ainz personally. I won't be less than 2 minutes," he asks, kneeling on one foot and a fist on the floor.
Albedo was about to refuse, but seeing her lord's gesture indicating for her to leave, she resignedly did so.
Once she left, Ainz lowered his head to look at him, "What do you want, Saibot?"
"I would like permission to explore the New World," he asks directly.
"...Wait, what?" Ainz said, not hiding the surprise in his voice.
"I want to explore this world and catalog possible threats to you, and Lord Vlad."
"Okay…this really is…unexpected," Momonga thought to himself.
All the other NPCs he has spoken to and interacted with, and even those he has only seen from afar, seemed to only be interested in pleasing him, serving him, obeying him, or Blade. But they have not shown any desires of their own.
He did not mean that they were just machines without feelings, of course each one has their own personalities, and feelings, but they all did not seem to have any interest in leaving the grave. Or if they did, it was only by orders of the two.
Momonga stared at Salbot at all times, "Perhaps... Blade had given him a very detailed biography?" he wondered to himself.
"Any specific place?" Ainz was curious to see how much he had thought about this.
He nodded. "Yes. Arwintar, the capital of the Baharuth Empire."
"... Excuse me?"
"The Empire is located to the northwest in the mountains of the Great Tomb of Nazarcik. If you start sending scouts to detect the geographical change, I wish to be the informant for you. I would also like to contribute to begin investigating the strongest warriors and sorcerers who inhabit the place," Salbot explained.
The Sorcerer thought about his proposal for a few moments, finally accepting. Having another pair of eyes and ears in the world was already more than beneficial.
"Alright, Salbot. You have become the eyes and ears of Nazarick in the Baharuth Empire."
The aforementioned raised his head, "Thank you, Lord Ainz. I hope that it can help Nazarick better understand this world and its oddities."
"I hope so," Ains replied.
"Besides, I'm sure Blade would like to know when he finds out that his 'son' has his own personal mission," the man in question thinks.
On a dirt path, the second in command of the tomb of Nazarick was walking, along with one of the Pleiades, Narberal Gamma.
The aforementioned did not have her clothes that she always came to wear, because from now on as an adventurer she had a new set to be able to enter properly and not raise any suspicion.
At her side was accompanied by the Vampire, who instead of his elegant clothes and fine bearing, wore what was definitely the opposite. Having a full armor with dirty leather parts with a chainmail underneath, matching a helmet wrapped in a protective metal, and a red cloth behind the helmet.
As much as Moringa had proposed that he put on something more that wraps greatness for him, Blade indicated that if a new Rookie enters the Adventurer's Guild with great equipment, everyone would have suspicions about him or believe that he is just a 'rich daddy's boy', at best.
"Lord Vlad, the city is in sight," Narberal reports.
The aforementioned stopped to gaze at E-Rantel City. Admiring the sheer size of the city, he could make out medieval vibes as he looked at the large stone walls and metal gate, a few guards stationed near the gate.
"This is going to be exciting," Blade thought to himself.
