"The New Police Boat"
In the ZPD bullpen, all the officers acknowledged the hippopotamus in the room—Officer Higgins—whose birthday had just been announced by Chief Bogo as he worked through his morning announcements.
"Lastly," the chief continued once the cheering had stopped, "as all of you know, the department's new boat has arrived, and I have decided to allow officers to help name it. Anyone wishing to submit a name should see Clawhauser by 4:00 p.m. Friday. Please note that the boat cannot be named for currently serving officers or their romantic relationships."
Nick smirked. Judy blushed. Both presumed it had been Clawhauser who had tried to submit WildeHopps.
"Any questions?" the buffalo asked.
Nick raised his paw.
Bogo massaged his forehead. "Wilde, if you're going to ask if you can submit Boaty McBoatface, I'm going to give you this opportunity to put your paw down, and I'll pretend you never raised it."
The fox kept his paw up.
"All right. Go ahead."
"Shippy McShipface?"
About half the bullpen chuckled and the other half groaned. Nick swore Judy had done both.
"Hey, Wilde?" Bogo said.
"Yes, Chief?" Nick replied.
"Parky McParkingdutyface."
Nick shook his head. "Sir, that's a terrible name for a boat."
"Twoey McTwodaysface!"
