"Trick or Treat"
Nick was a little nervous taking his fox son on his first trick or treat. He remembered all the rocks he had gotten when his mother took him around as a kit.
But the first home, the second, the third—no one, prey or predator, treated the four-year-old police officer with disrespect.
Nick smiled seeing all the loot his boy was getting—chocolate bars, peanut butter cups, Z&Z's, even chocolate-covered blueberries.
"Want one, Dad?"
