Yuuki Manor:

Kazuto and Asuna left the latter's bedroom. They see Kouichirou coming out of his bedroom.

"Big brother," Asuna greeted.

"Asuna-nechan, Kazuto-kun..." Kouichirou greeted back. "How is your bedroom?"

"It's like I never left..." Asuna smiled. "And it's even warmer and more cuddly with new company."

"That's good to hear..." Kouichirou replied with a smile. "It's great to have you back home again..."

Asuna hugged Kouichirou. "It's great to be back home, Kouichirou-niisan..."

Kazuto smiled for Asuna. He then noticed his dad coming up with two of his subordinates.

"Everything alright?" Minetaka asked after spotting Kazuto.

"Yeah, Dad," Kazuto said, "what are you doing?"

"Security assessment," Minetaka answered, "we need to make sure that there are no blind spots."

"The rooms on the bottom floor are cleared." One of the subordinates spoke up. "We're checking the upper floor..."

"Go," Minetaka urged his men forward. He then looked to Kazuto.

"Mind if you show them the bedrooms?" He asked his son.

"Ask Kouichirou and Asuna... it's their house," Kazuto advised.

Minetaka nodded before turning to Asuna and Kouichirou. "May you two show me the rooms upstairs?"

Asuna nodded, "yes you may."

"Alright, follow the Yuuki children to whatever room they show you..." Minetaka ordered.

"Gentlemen," Kouichirou gestured, "please follow us." They started with Asuna's bedroom. Asuna and Kouichirou led the officers in, while Kazuto and Minetaka watched.

After almost a minute, they walked out and headed towards Kouichirou's bedroom.

"So what exactly are they doing with the rooms, Dad?"

"We're checking for any possible breaches that Hydra could use to get into the manor... And they are mapping out the rooms so as not to miss any corners if we have to clear them."

"Captain Burke's ordered Iron Man to scan the exterior of the manor for any bugs or gaps in the security..." Minetaka continued.

"And the soldiers are also outside still," Kazuto asked.

"That's correct, Kazuto..." Minetaka answered. "So far, everything's all normal..."

Asuna and Kouichirou led the subordinates out of the latter's bedroom and made their way down the hallway to the other rooms. The bathrooms are already checked before heading towards the master bedroom.

The officers were about to enter...

"Officers," Kyouko suddenly appeared behind them.

"What is it, Mrs. Yuuki?"

The Yuuki siblings looked at their mother. Even Kazuto and Minetaka turned to Kyouko...

"I'll take point on this..." Kyouko said suddenly...

"Ma'am..." The officers stood aside as Kyouko took the lead. She wanted to be sure that her family's secrets were safe, both from Hydra and the outside world. Everyone walked into the master bedroom.

Kouichirou and Asuna watched.

"I wonder what was that about?" Asuna asked in a whisper.

"I'm not sure, Asuna-nechan..." Kouichirou answered back.

A few minutes went by before Kyouko and the two officers came out of the master bedroom.

"Master bedroom clear, sir," officer 1 radioed Minetaka.

"Good..." Minetaka replied. "Any other rooms that we've missed? I want no stone unturned."

It was then Minetaka radios Captain Burke. "Have Iron Man scan the interior of the house..."

"Coming in..." The front door opens up and the red/gold armor headed up the stairs and begins scanning the upper floors of the manor. Captain came up from behind, standing next to Minetaka and Kazuto.

"Don't seem to see anything else..." Iron Man II reported.

"Sounds like we are in the clear up here." Captain America II turned towards Kyouko. "Any other floors we need to know about?"

Kyouko shook her head. "That's all the rooms we have, sir..."

"Thank you for your cooperation." The two Americans turned to leave when Asuna stopped them.

"Something wrong?" Iron Man asked.

"I just thought I'd invite you two to dinner," Asuna smiled, surprising everyone.

"I've made some fine dishes since coming back from the NerveGear..." She continued. "I figured since you two are here..."

Miss Asuna," Captain America II responded, "forgive us, but we are not at liberty at this time."

Iron Man II sighed, "hate to be the downer, but I follow the Cap's lead."

Kazuto then spoke up. "Please, Captain... She wants to show her appreciation for helping me and my friends of saving Asuna and the others from Nobuyuki..."

"I vouch for my daughter's invitation..." Kyouko added. "And it would be most impolite here in Japan to turn down your host's generosity."

Both Burke and Preston looked at each other, then back at Kyouko...

"I would not want my Rangers left out in the cold like that though," Chris answered.

Asuna smiled, thinking of how touching the American's concern for his men was.

"Agreed... We should notify our superiors first..." Preston nodded. "And we could stay for dinner afterwards..." He let out a smile. "Also, we're gonna be here guarding the manor to prevent any threats towards your daughter and her husband..."

"Hope you are up for feeding an army," Chris followed.

"Don't worry, Captain America... I'm sure I'll be able to serve the Rangers..." Asuna chimed.

"And I can help serve," Kazuto grinned.

"Then it's settled..." Preston chuckled.

"Lieutenant," Chris said.

"Sir," Preston acknowledged.

Chris then nodded in acceptance to Asuna before the two Americans turned to leave.

"We're gonna head back downstairs..." Minetaka said. He gave his son a smile.

"Thanks, dad..." Kazuto replied.

"It's part of the job, son."

"Anyway..." Asuna then said. "It'll be best if Kazuto and I head back downstairs as well to get dinner prepared..."

She then takes Kazuto's hand and smiled. "Shall we?"

"Let's get dinner prepared, Asuna..." Kazuto smiled back as the teenage couple start heading downstairs.

"Well... Best we head back outside..." Preston said.

"We'll let you know when dinner's ready..." Shouzou added.

"Thank you for your daughter's generosity," Chris shook Shouzou's hand, "none of you needed to do this."

"It's the only way to show our thanks..." Shouzou explains. "And some compensation for the trouble you and your men suffered, Captain... and condolences for those you lost inside RECT."

"Well," Chris exhaled and nodded, "I appreciate that."

"Thank you very much..." Preston added.

The two armored officers then stepped out the door. Shouzou then projected to Kyouko, 'they didn't find the 'panic door' did they?'

'No... I was able to lead them on away from the 'panic door'... So it's safe...' Kyouko projected back. 'At least we can be confident that secret is safe from Hydra and anybody else,'

'Good...' Shouzou nodded. There were enough revelations for the Yuukis and Japan to handle. Two minutes later, they headed back downstairs.

Mitchell Residence:

Jonathan knocked on Alex's door.

"Yes?" Alex called out from inside. "What's up, Jon?"

"Dinner's almost ready..." Jon answered. "And I hope you two are decent."

"We are..." Alex replied.

"Good..." Jon then heads back downstairs.

Inside, Alex was blushing at Jon's tease. "Did he have to put it that way!?"

"I don't know..." Suguha replied, she too was blushing. She put her hands on Alex's chest as she pushed herself off. "Let's go before he comes back."

Alex gets up and stretches his arms and legs. "Yeah... We should..."

The two got up and walked downstairs. As they reached the living room, they can smell the aroma of tomato sauce. Alex smiled as he recognized his mother's dish.

"Baked spaghetti and meatballs..." Alex said with delight.

Suguha smiled, knowing her mother made the right purchases.

"You'll love mom's baked spaghetti..." Alex said to Sugu. "They're a delight..."

"I'm in an American food marathon thanks to you," Sugu winked.

"Hehe... Although, spaghetti's originated from Italy..." Alex chuckled, followed by a cheery smile.

"Hey... American food, Italian food, it's all good," Suguha laughed as they went down.

"Very true..." Alex laughed before following her. They made their way to the kitchen where the aroma was strong. They also smell garlic as well. They peeked into the kitchen to see they have garlic bread being taking out of the oven.

Midori and Marie were both smiling brightly as they finished.

"Dinner is ready..." Midori chimed.

Marie smiled towards Alex. "I hope you and your girlfriend behaved."

"We have, Mrs. Mitchell..." Suguha chirped. "I'm not that kind of girl to act funny with a boy."

"Good to hear, Sugu dear..." Marie answered.

"First Jon, and now you Mom," Alex blushed and buried his face.

Suguha giggled. "So... This is baked spaghetti..." She observed.

Marie showed the lasagna pan. The baked spaghetti and meatballs are covered with mozzarella cheese. "And that's not all," Midori showed her surprise dish.

"Is that..." Suguha asked. "I didn't even know you cooked that, Mom!"

"Marie and I shared recipes on certain dishes..." Midori smiled. "Italian sausage and peppers..." It looked positively succulent and juicy.

"It looks delicious, mom..." Suguha commented with delight.

"Hope you two are hungry," Midori beamed.

"We are, Mrs. Kirigaya..." Alex smiled. David helped set the table. Jon brought out the drinks.

"I can't wait to try what our mothers have made..." Suguha expressed with excitement.

Alex smiled at everything in front of him. After everything got set up, everyone took a seat at the dinner table. David said grace and everyone bowed their heads in silence as he continued.

"Thank You for Your deliverance from danger, Lord... And given us the time to relax and enjoy with the people that we care and to enjoy the meal that is prepared before us... We ask that You protect and rest Captain America and other heroes who survived today's attack, and thank You for the victory that was theirs today... And continue to strengthen us and fight against the vey evil that wish to harm the innocent... And once again... thank You for what we are about to enjoy. Amen."

"Amen..." Everyone finished. And with that, everyone dug in.

Alex hummed as he tasted the pasta. "Mmmmm... Delicious as always, mom..." He commented before taking another bite.

Suguha herself took a bite in one of the meatballs. She swallowed and smiled towards Marie. "It's very delicious..."

"Thank you very much, sweetie..." Marie smiled back.

Suguha then took a bite from the sausage. To her surprise, it was juicy and delicious. She hummed with delight as she chewed and swallowed it. Alex and Jonathan hummed their chuckles as they tasted Midori's sausage dish.

"Oh my... This is amazing..." Alex commented.

"You said it, little brother..." Jonathan agreed.

David meanwhile held his wife's hand. "You know, when I was held inside RECT... I wasn't sure if they start going after you... but I always thought about being able to see you again, even for one last time."

"David..." Marie was all she could say...

"Coming home to dinner," David added, "it's never felt this precious in a long time since I brushed that close to lights out."

"I know, David..." Marie said again. "I was scared for all three of you..."

"Hey, I'm here now," David said, "and so are our children." He continued to hold Marie's hand. "And despite all the ugliness and the bloodshed we've seen. We'll always be together through the thick and the thin..."

The two then looked to Alex and Suguha, the latter is enjoying the dishes that was made before her.

"And our Alex found love and will cherish it every single day..." David added.

"Mom, the few days that I've been going without your cooking have been torture for me," Alex joked.

"Alex!" Jon laughed.

"Oh Alex..." Suguha teased with an evil smile, "I know that you missed your mother's cooking, but your enjoying my family's cooking says otherwise. Why start now?"

"Ooooohhh... Your girlfriend's got you now, Alex..." Jon expressed.

Suguha poked Alex's cheek. "If the time with me and my family was torture... does it make me a sadist to tell you that I enjoyed it?"

Alex blushed heavily upon hearing this. This was followed by Suguha's giggles.

"My my... so young and getting into the marital banner, sweetie?" Midori laughed.

"Sure am, mom..." Suguha smirked. "With Kazuto-niisan and Asuna-nesan married and all... Why not learn from them?"

Jonathan and the Mitchell parents looked on in both surprise and amusement to see what was unfolding for Alex. David had to explain to Marie about Kazuto's and Asuna's marriage while in SAO.

"So young..." Marie whispered.

"And in love..." David whispered back. "... And it looks like Alex and Suguha would consider tying the knot..." He held a snicker. Still remembering his teasing back at the Café.

"Aw... Sugu," Alex playfully swatted, "you're mean!"

It was then Suguha laughed. Followed by the laughter of everyone around the table.

Yuuki manor:

Asuna hummed a tune to herself as she worked. With Kazuto by her side in case she needed anything.

"Fighting evil by moonlight and winning love by daylight?" Kazuto remarked on the lyrics to the song Asuna was humming.

"Mmm Hmm..." Asuna answered. "It's my favorite song..."

"So... does that mean I'm your Tuxedo?" Kazuto teased.

"Yep... And I'm your Sailor Moon..." Asuna winked at him.

Kazuto laughed. Followed by Asuna's giggles. Kouichirou saw this and found it both amazing and amusing. His little sister was really good in the marital banter. He was also amazed by Asuna's cooking skills. The creamy soup she had chosen for this evening was very aromatic.

'Can't wait to taste it...' Kouichirou thought.

"Kazuto-kun, can you get me some loads of cheese?" Asuna asked.

"Sure thing, Asuna-chan..." Kazuto chimed as he headed towards the fridge and pulled out a bag of cheese.

Kouichirou was about to turn when Asuna suddenly sensed him in the corner of her eye. "Oh, dear brother?"

Kazuto was started and almost dropped the bag of cheese. "Kouichirou?"

"Hi," Kouichirou waved.

"We didn't see you there, Kouichirou-niisan..." Asuna admitted.

"I just thought it was cute," Kouichirou chuckled with a wink towards Kazuto. "I get that you're indulging my little sister's love of magic girls... just make sure that if you ask her to put on a super fuku, don't let our parents see her in one."

Kazuto was blushing and stammering as he replied. "I-I re-remember that..." But now Kazuto's head was filling with the images of Asuna in a fuku with her hair tied up usagi-bun style. Asuna could tell what he was thinking and giggled.

"Kazuto-kun..." Asuna teased. "Still need the cheese... And Kouichirou... would you be a dear brother and help with the chicken?"

"Sure thing, Asuna..." Kouichirou smiled as he helped out with his sister.

Outside the kitchen:

Shouzou and Kyouko went into their family office together.

"Peace at last..." Shouzou sighed. Kyouko said nothing as she settled into the office chair. She and her husband needed to breathe. Shouzou pulled up one of the chairs and sat down as well.

"Now... it's just a matter of resting before I have to testify in trial against that creature."

Kyouko just nodded in agreement. Shouzou still sighed. "Still, it cannot change what happened..."

It was then Kyouko finally spoke. "Agreed..." She then said something unexpected. "We really did mess up, didn't we?"

Shouzou was surprised, he never heard his wife utter something like this. But he quickly recovered as he realized what she meant and replied. "Yeah... We did..."

"Several thousand players injured, forty-eight American soldiers killed... and more than half of them on RECT premises alone," Shouzou read off, "and now the Japanese stock market in a panic with lawsuits and stock panic sales flying."

Kyouko hung her head low in shame. All of this wouldn't happened if they've just trusted their instincts regarding Nobuyuki... And now the whole nation, and their allies, are investigating the ALO incident. Even many of the family's political allies were nowhere to be seen. Probably saving themselves or having to deal with either unsettled Japanese constituents or dealing with American and Russian pressure from abroad, Kyouko had to guess. And now the media were even sensationalizing the security around the Yuuki manor, especially with American Army Rangers on the grounds, calling it the 'American occupation'.

And to top it off, even the Chinese States are mobilizing their armed forces as a show of strength against Japan in the wake of the incident. It was as though their own family troubles were rocking the whole world. It'll be a miracle of they're able to walk away unscathed by this massive scandal.

"You know, Kyouko, I've come to a hard decision, but I wanted to let you know in case you wanted to change my mind," Shouzou said.

Kyouko looked up towards Shouzou's gaze. "Change my mind for...?"

"I'm disbanding the gaming division, RECT Progress," Shouzou revealed.

Kyouko did a double-take. "You are?"

Shouzou nodded. "It's the division Nobuyuki was in charge of, so I would not be surprised that it was the most badly infiltrated. Keeping Progress around would also be too much of a PR headache."

Kyouko thought about it for a moment. She knew that her husband's right. It'll be best if the gaming division no longer existed within RECT. And given the number of people who went missing, were killed, or were exposed as Hydra operatives inside the gaming and Full-Dive division, it had become too much of a liability to the rest of RECT's legitimacy. Shouzou wanted to cut off the diseased branch before the rest of the tree rotted with it.

"I support your decision..." Kyouko said at last. "I... I also think that we need to shut down RECT Progress and freeze its assets," she added, "at this point, it can no longer be considered a part of RECT."

At first, Shouzou was gonna ask if she was sure about the suggested. But then he said. "I agree..."

"It's become associated with that creature," Kyouko refused to use Nobuyuki's name, "and I want every trace of him gone from our family as soon as we can do it."

"Kouchirou and I will make that possible..." Shouzou replied.

He gave his wife a determined look. "And I will see to it that Hydra is brought down for what they've done."

Shouzou cracked a smile after hearing his wife's determination. It was then he then asked. "And about Asuna... I hope you can accept Kazuto-kun. He seems to have done what no other man could do for her."

"During my days here by myself... I went over the footages that took place in Alfheim..." Kyouko explains. "I also saw the footage of Asuna exposing Hydra's goals to the world..."

Kyouko sat back as it came back to her in the eye of her mind. Deep down, she feared for Asuna ever since the SAO incident began. And when she and Shouzou were kidnapped and Asuna appeared to side with Hydra, she assumed the worse.

It was quite foolish, in hindsight. And when Nobuyuki presented himself and offered to help their daughter and the rest of the trapped SAO players out from the NerveGear, she accepted out of desperation. A foolish and fatal mistake indeed...

'All of this because I'd handpicked him...' Kyouko thought.

"Still, considering what had happened, she turned out to be much more courageous," Shouzou said.

"Very true..." Kyouko agreed.

"And Kazuto-kun risked his life to rescue our daughter and the others..." Shouzou continued. "So if there is any good to come out of this... our own daughter has found a far worthier husband than we could have."

"A very worthy husband..." Kyouko answered again. "And now I'm interested to learn more about him, especially considering that he is the son of Minetaka Kirigaya, the top homicide detective."

"It is a surprise for the both of us..." Shouzou added. "I suppose that the apple does not fall far from the tree, considering the number of serial killers Kirigaya arrested or killed."

"Not to mention that Kazuto displayed unique abilities..." He continued.

Kyouko mused over this... it wasn't exactly her first round with something like this. "I never thought that we would encounter more gifted individuals, especially one so young," she admitted. "Not to mention having the ability to control their gifts with perfection..."

"Hmm..." Shouzou hummed, "so much for a normal life, I suppose."

"I do hope that things die down and get back to normal..." Kyouko admitted. "I want for us to be a normal, upper class family again."

"We'll get through this..." Shouzou reassured her. "We always have before... And this time, we got a new son-in-law..."

Kyouko let out a small smile. "Yes we do, Shouzou... Yes we do..."

USS Wilson:

Maria Hill returned to the ship after some covert intelligence gathering in Tokyo. It was a nasty battle, but everything's calm for the moment. But they remain on high alert. Titania Miller stood atop the bridge, looking at the repairs underway. The USS Wilson took damage to the engines and the defense systems. But the repairs are easy to make.

Maria Hill then entered the bridge. "Director Fury."

"Anything from Captain Burke?" Fury asked.

"Captain Chris Burke, Colonel Rogers, and Captain Anderson are alive and managed to repel the Hydra invasion force..." Hill reads. "And it appears that the two teenagers from ALO have interfered and fought against Hydra forces..."

"I've seen it on the news..." Fury pointed out. "It appears that this Asuna Yuuki continues to show her abilities..."

"Indeed she has..." Hill agreed. "But the base itself is not so good. It's almost a total write-off."

"Reconstruction will take time..." She continued. "And most of the headquarter staff there are either injured or dead. This also includes the equipment as almost every plane and chopper have been destroyed..."

Fury contemplated this. The attack on the lives of Captain Burke and the others, plus Hydra hacking into the news channels live feed proves that they'll stop at nothing...

And now President Wilson was in a difficult position of responding to this open attack on America's military while maintaining political stability back home. And to make things complicated, both America and Russia as well as China have mobilized their armed forces for future attacks from Hydra coming from Japan. It was as though the war in Alfheim had triggered a new era of military build up.

"A beginning of a new era..." Fury muttered. "... and the end of a tenuous peace. And I thought the skirmishes in Mexico, Israel and Korea were enough..."

Meanwhile, Titania had her hands full with the repairs to the ship. "How far along are the repairs?" she asked one of her crew. The crew member looked with a furrowed brow at his pad.

"We're making progress on the weapons and defense systems... But the arc engines are taking longer than expected..."

"How bad was the damage there?" the captain asked.

"The Arc reactor couplings and spanners were damaged from the attacks, and the circuits have been fried from the fires..." He continued.

Titania muttered a few swears under her breath as she rubbed her forehead with one hand. "Any idea how long it will take to repair the couplings and spanners? And can we replace the circuits quickly?"

"We're replacing the circuits as we speak..." He added. "After that, the couplings and spanners will be next..."

"Good." Titania nodded. "We just have to make sure we can get the ship up and running as soon as we can."

"Yes, Captain Titania..." The crew member acknowledged.

The captain turned back to look at the activity, and she sighed. 'How much longer do we have to deal with Hydra and their plans...?'

She felt this Hydra's skirmish in ALO and Yokota Air Base were just the beginning...

Back with Fury, he then moved onto the next subject with Maria Hill. "And your mission to the Japanese Diet..."

"Yes sir..." Hill continues to read the report. "We've received report that both Captain Burke and Lieutenant Preston have escorted the two teens to Camp Yama. And then to the girl's manor... All of whom are in escort by Captain Burke himself..."

"So we can consider Burke accounted for," Fury nodded, "now what have you been able to gather from inside the Japanese Diet?"

I've received news that they're leading the investigation regarding RECT Progress Inc and Nobuyuki's role of the Total War in Alfheim..." Hill answered... "... but as for both chambers for law as a whole... total pandemonium and accusations flying about."

"I can imagine..." Fury remarked. Asuna's revelation of Hydra in Japan's halls of government would have ruffled more than feathers. And to top it all off, the Japanese Self-Defense Force was also in an uproar. The whole of Japan was upset by this.

"Such a mess..." Fury lamented. "We've been down this road before."

"We have, sir..." Hill agreed. She then produced some press release drafts that she had secretly swiped from inside the Diet. Fury reads the drafts, they were a few pages long, but gave details of the situation in the Japanese Diet.

Maria Hill glanced towards Captain Titania, who is busy observing one of the monitors and the repairs that continue to take place. Everyone's fortunate that the Wilson hasn't been damaged too severely. She nodded as she watched one of the engines finally get fixed. They test-fired the engine, the blue light of the arc engine can be seen on the monitor.

"So far so good," she mused. After a few minutes, the engine is shut down, the test was a success...

Titania then turned towards another monitor, she watched the technicians replace the circuits in the control panels.

"Engine four output satisfactory," Unity reported.

"Good to hear..." Titania smiled. The veteran former Navy captain always prided herself on making her ships salvageable no matter the damage. Then she gets a report that all of the circuits have been replaced and are in the process of being tested. As far as Unity could test, the ship was returning to operational parameters.

"All of the circuits are functioning..." Unity reported.

"That's good news," Titania replied.

"We're almost finished with the defense and weapon systems..." Unity chimed.

It was then that a chime rang out, indicating that Trinity had returned.

"Trinity reporting for duty, Captain Miller..." Trinity reported.

"I see you've been very busy, friend," Titania smiled, "thank you."

"You're welcome, the military network's been searched for any other bots from Hydra..." Trinity added. "But all is normal..."

"Good. But best to be careful," the captain cautioned.

"Will do..." Trinity acknowledged.

"Though I would say that I never expected you to allow two non-military AIs into our defense network," Titania said, "that was a risk you took for yourself."

"They intercepted encrypted Hydra messages via the net and one of them got infected with the bot's counter-measures..." Trinity explained. "And I calculated that I would increase my chances of success if I enlisted their aid."

"Good to know..." Titania nodded.

At the Yuuki manor:

Private Damion almost began to second guess his decision to be standing out in the cold, snowy January night with only his rifle as a companion.

"Man... Forgot how cold it is in January..." Damion said to himself. He had been up to Wisconsin and Minnesota once for winter combat training... and he absolutely hated the snow and wet cold. But he knew it was mandatory as it'll help him build up his immune system against the winter cold.

Still...

"Achoo!" Damion sneezed. "Ugh, great." It's just what he needs right now...

He wiped with his jacket sleeve. He hoped he's not catching a cold.

He tried to think about something else so he isn't feeling cold. He thought of the day they went into Japan to rescue Asuna and everyone and how they fought in both Alfheim and the Real World. Then he thought about Kotone.

"Kotone..." Damion sighed happily. If he was not on duty, he would be going to find her tonight, but the Captain had kept him really busy. For a moment, he forgot he was cold. Damion could not put a finger on it, but Kotone was familiar. He had a feeling that he'd met her before... But where?

"Hey, Burton," one of his peers called out, "your head in the clouds or something?"

Damion was startled. "N-No sir!" He stammered his reply.

Another one of his friends teased him, "can't blame ya. Must be thinking of that girl of his to not be freezing his behind like the rest of us."

This caused Damion's face to flush a deep shade of red. "Gus!" Damion yelled.

One of the soldiers, Gus, busted out laughing. "You're in love!"

"W-what do you mean?!" Damion demanded with a flushing face.

"Come on, don't try to deny it! After the kiss that girl gave you in ALO!" Gus laughed some more. The other soldiers just laughed at his expense. Damion continued to blush heavier. Meanwhile, Captain America II and Iron Man II walked the walled perimeter of the Yuuki estate.

They can hear some of the laughter on the other side of the manor.

Iron Man looked in that direction. "Wonder what's got them laughing..."

As Captain continued to sweep the perimeter, he decided to call. "Hey boys, everything on the level over there?"

There was a quick response from the comms. "All level, Cap, just having a few laughs."

"Roger," Captain acknowledged.

"Something to keep themselves warm..." Iron Man II smirked. "Can't blame them as it's very cold out here..." He then looked over to his leader, who just seemed to regard the cold like a cool summer breeze. "Pardon the expression, sir, but you seem pretty chill for a Texan in cold weather."

"Super soldier metabolism and endurance, Lieutenant," the Captain answered.

"I see..." Iron Man II replied. "Colonel America said the exact same thing to him..."

"Exactly," the Captain said.

"Alright then..." Iron Man nodded as he continues to scan the area, only to find nothing.

"Lieutenant..."

"Yes Captain?"

The two turned to face one another. The younger superior seemed to have an earnest look behind his steel face. "For what it's worth, thank you for coming to help me back at headquarters," Chris expressed.

"You're welcome, Captain..." Preston nodded. "Wouldn't let a fellow soldier, let alone future Avenger, hanging by a thread..."

"Future Avenger huh?" Chris pursed his lips as he looked upward.

"I wouldn't be surprise if Kazuto's and Asuna's friends and family would think the same thing..." Preston chuckled.

"But... they're just kids," Chris reminded.

"True..." Preston replied, "but they're 'gifted kids'. And who knows... They could be members of the new Avengers..."

"I don't think that it's that simple, Lieutenant," Chris shook his head, "you and I are active military, and we answer to the United States of America, not necessarily the people of the world. We serve the national interest."

"Indeed, we serve in the military..." Preston agreed. "Although, due to recent events and the revelations of Hydra's return. Who knows what will happen..."

"And I'm not keen on seeing the child soldier experience repeated again," Chris said, "ever." The southwestern front of the last civil war still left a very bad taste in the survivors and veterans of that period of national discord.

"I know what you mean..." Preston solemnly replied. "I remember seeing the Pacificans and Blue Cosmos using child soldiers during our push towards the west... Especially in Colorado and New Mexico..." Preston then turned back to his leader, "but this is different."

"They risked themselves to rescue their own after being trapped for two years..." He continued. "And they chose to help you, even though they had every right to disappear back into normal life."

"Lieutenant-"

"Most of us were in that type of situation before..." Preston continued. "But we chose to stand up for what is right..."

Chris shook his head. "I don't know-"

Preston placed his hand on Chris' shoulder. "Things will get better for us... Besides, I don't think you could even drive those kids off. They'll just as stubborn as they come..."

"Don't we now know that," Chris said in resignation. Preston then grins.

"But don't go encouraging them," Chris pointed into Preston's face.

"What? It wasn't me who started the video trend..." Preston defended.

"I didn't say that," Chris corrected, "but I'm not about to feed their wildest vigilante fantasies. If they want to fight Hydra, they will answer to me and Colonel."

"I'm sure they will when the time comes..." Preston replied. Chris just patted Preston on his shoulder armor.

Inside the manor:

Kouichirou passed one of the police officers before looking out one of the front windows. He saw four of the soldiers that accompanied Captain America and Iron Man in the front courtyard standing in their army coats with their rifles slung down their chests. The other squad of four had their MRAP parked out front, facing the crowds and media with their M4s in their hands. Kouichirou shook his head. Most of them appeared about his age or even younger, barely out of high school or college.

'The civil war took the chunk out of the American forces...' He thought to himself. Kouichirou had seen and heard of these young soldier volunteers and conscripts... many of these young Americans had come from lower class to lower middle class families who were among the hardest hit by the economic and social devastation of the civil war and subsequent bushfire border wars that redefined the United States post-2020. They would have joined the military to escape the poverty of their hometowns and help their loved ones pay the bills. And the military's still dealing with Pacifican remnants in the west coast. Especially the US state of Jefferson.

'They should be studying and working... not be soldiers,' he thought to himself. However, he could see that most of them have chose to join the military. He shook his head and moved on. He heads downstairs to the foyer and he could smell the aroma of food cooking. He walked into the kitchen. And sees that the meal Asuna has prepared is in the process of being finished.

"That's a cream soup..."

"Indeed, brother..." Asuna smiled.

"Look what she put in," Kazuto grinned.

Kouichirou looked in and sees meatballs made with chicken mixed in the soup. "It's chicken-meatball soup..." He deduced. He also smelled the shredded cheese he gave to Asuna. "It smells delicious..." He commented.

"Wait until you, mom and dad taste it, Kouchirou-niisan..." Asuna said in a cheery tone.

Kazuto then held up some bread. "And some steaming parmesan bread to help fill stomachs out there."

"I can imagine how they'd react once everyone has a dish of Asuna's homemade soup..." He chuckled.

"Kazuto," Asuna gave her husband a smile, "be a dear and get us some bowls, and some cups on a tray for the gentlemen outside."

"Sure thing, Asuna..." Kazuto gave a quick peck on her cheek and gathered the cups for the tray. Then he brought out five bowls for himself, Asuna and her family. Kouichirou saw the large cups, which could just as well be small bowls with handles on the side.

Kazuto brought out the spoons for the bowls and cups. Asuna lifted one of the bowls and began to pour soup in. She made sure that the chicken meatballs were evened out. Kouichirou took a sniff, but then his stomach growled loudly. He blushed in embarrassment.

"Hehe..." Kazuto chuckles. "I get that feeling every time Asuna serves her meals... she's just that great."

Asuna giggles before pouring soup in the second bowl.

Meanwhile, Shouzou and Kyouko had started to discuss their next steps as a family.

"...So, you're thinking of having Kazuto and Asuna be married for real?" Kyouko asked. Shouzou told his wife that it was the least they could do after what their daughter and her beloved have done in both ALO and earlier.

"At this point, what else would we do?" Shouzou said this with a smile, "and I would even say that he is far more than qualified."

Kyouko paused for a moment. It was true that Kazuto's shown his dedication, not to mention an interesting background. Then Kyouko cracked a small smile. "I would agree."

"Then, it's decided..." Shouzou smiled. As the two left the office, they went to find their two children and new husband in the kitchen. The aroma of chicken-meatball soup hit them like a tidal wave. Kazuto and Kouichirou happily chatted over Asuna's cooking.

The presence of the Yuuki adults got their attention.

"Mother, Father," Asuna beamed.

"Asuna..." Shouzou smiled. "That looks very delicious," he remarked as he saw the cream soup in the pot.

"It's chicken-meatball soup..." Asuna explained. "I thought we could use something warm and liquid for this cold night."

"That is true, Asuna..." Kyouko agreed.

"Supposed to be minus thirteen tonight," Shouzou added.

"That's what the weather app says..." Kouichirou checks his phone. He had grown used to the warm weather in Texas and the Californias, so Kouichirou shivered a bit.

"Don't worry, Kouichirou-niisan... You'll feel warm once you've eaten the soup..." Asuna reassured him. She poured two more bowls and set them aside for her family and Kazuto. Then she begins pouring the soup into the large cups and setting them on the large tray. Ten cups for ten cold soldiers on duty. Kouichirou nodded approvingly as Kazuto also loaded the parmesan bread. He could tell that Asuna had this entirely homecooked due to embellishments and touches that would not be typical to canned food.

"Dinner is now ready." Asuna chirped.

"Hopefully those soldiers are not too ravenous," Kouichirou joked half-serious, "believe me when I say that Americans can really eat."

"Got you covered there," Kazuto laughed as he pointed to the pot, which still had soup. "Asuna's thought ahead and made plenty for everyone."

Shouzou and Kyouko looked over their daughter's cooking.

"I gotta admit Asuna, I'm impressed..." Kyouko admitted.

"As am I..." Shouzou added.

"That's my Asuna," Kazuto complimented.

"Let's deliver the soup to the soldiers outside first..." Asuna suggested. "After all, they must be cold sitting out there..."

"I got it covered," Kazuto loaded the tray to a point that one would think was rather heavy, but when he lifted it, he seemed to be at ease.

"I'll get the door for you..." Kouichirou offered as he and Kazuto exited out of the kitchen and towards the front door.

Asuna turned back to her parents. "Let's get the dinner table all set up..." She smiled.

Both the Yuuki adults made their way to the dining room and begin setting up the table. Bringing out the spoons and napkins as well as drinks.

Shortly after, Asuna brought out the five bowls placed on one of the trays. She set the tray down and placed the bowls next to the napkins and spoons before bringing the empty tray back into the kitchen.

"We have so much to catch up on, Mother," Asuna told her.

"Indeed, we do..." Kyouko agreed as she and Shouzou sat down.

"I heard some from what the police and military provided," Kyouko said, "but I would sooner hear the rest from my own daughter."

A couple of minutes went by before Kazuto and Kouichirou came back inside with the empty tray. Asuna smiled with her hands clasped. "I take it the boys liked it?"

"They sure did, Asuna..." Kazuto grinned. "Even Damion was grateful for the soup..."

"That poor young man was sneezing and sniffling." Kouichirou grinned. "I don't know what you put in that soup, sister, but as soon as that private took a sip, he stopped sniffling."

"Good to hear..." Asuna smiled as Kouichirou enters the kitchen. A few moments later, he came back out. "Oh, and the Captain told me to tell you thank you, Asuna."

Asuna smiled before replying. "We'll tell him I welcome him..."

Shouzou was more and more proud of Asuna by the minute. Kyouko was also proud of Asuna as well. Then everyone sat down at the dinner table.

"Now that everything's settled..." Asuna stated. "For the first time in two years, I am back home."

"And we're gonna make up for it by spending more time with everyone..." Kazuto finished.

Kouichirou chuckled. "And with that... welcome home, dear sister."

Asuna felt the warm sensation in her heart from the family reunion that is taking place.

"Thank Kami and all of heaven for your safe return, my daughter," Shouzou concurred.

"And we all owe it to Kazuto and Captain Burke..." Kyouko added.

"And especially Kazuto Kirigaya," Shouzou replied.

Kazuto was starting to get flustered from the attention he was receiving from his wife's family. Asuna smiled and squeezed his hand in reassurance.

"And as the head of the Yuuki family... we welcome you," Shouzou expressed.

"Thank you so much for welcoming me..." Kazuto bowed.

"And with that... Itadakimasu," Shouzou clapped. After that, dinner began. Kazuto tasted the cheesy broth. He hummed with delight.

"Asuna... Your cooking skills never cease to amaze me..." Kazuto smiles. Shouzou and Kyouko also drank the soup. And to their surprise, it was delicious.

"This is... excellent," Kyouko said. "I've never tasted a soup so delicious..."

Asuna's heart gladdened to hear that from her mother. Kyouko dips another spoon in and take a bite into one of the chicken meatballs. "The chicken ball's perfected in both texture and flavor..."

Shouzou also took a bite into one of the chicken balls. "You're right, dear. It's locks in the flavor..."

"And the cheese," Kouichirou added, "it melts on your tongue."

"You really outdid yourself, Asuna..." Kazuto smiled before dipping his spoon in the soup.

Asuna giggles and blushes from the compliments she's been getting. Her cooking has taken their minds off of recent events. For the first time, she gets to spend it with her family together. She tasted her own soup with satisfaction.

"Mmmmmm..." She hummed with delight.

Kazuto smiled for his beloved. He dips the parmesan bread into the soup and takes a bite out of it. "Satisfying."

As the family dinner continued.

"So... Kazuto..." Kyouko began. "You're the son of Beretta Minetaka..."

Kazuto looked to Kyouko. "Apparently so," he shrugged, "I didn't even know that he was a cop until recently."

"I see... I assumed that you were surprised when he revealed it to you..." Kyouko asked before taking another spoonful of the soup.

"I was..." Kazuto replied with a sheepish smile. "It didn't seem to be something he wanted to talk about much."

"I understand..." Kyouko nodded. She figured that it used to upset the young boy's mother... "It's a very interesting family you have there, Kazuto..."

"And if I may," Kouichirou said, "it's nothing for any of your family to be ashamed of. I'm sure a lot of people owe their lives to him for putting a stop to the murderers of his day, including the Otaku Killer."

"That's true..." Kazuto agreed.

"Still gettin used to the idea that my salaryman dad could actually be a veteran cop," Kazuto admitted, "let alone one who can pull a trigger."

"We understand..." Kyouko smirked.

"And now he's outside patrolling our house," Asuna added.

"Along with the new Captain America and Iron Man..." Kazuto replied with a smile.

Outside:

"I never thought I'd be so glad for cream soup this side of the world," Damion laughed with his buddies as they drank.

"That Asuna sure knows how to cook a perfect soup..." Gus commented. The squad dug into the soup and bread as their captain and lieutenant joined them.

"Eat up whatever you need boys," Preston encouraged, "we could be out here for quite a while."

"Will do, sir..." Damion nodded.

"I wonder if also getting hot chocolate as well?" Gus asked.

"Just don't get too needy, private," Chris reminded as he sipped some soup, "we're here because it is our duty. Their generosity is extra."

"Not to worry, Captain..." Gus nodded. "It's nice to feel warm once in a while..."

"Not everyone has that super metabolism that you were gifted with after all, sir," Preston joked. Damion held back a snicker. Speaking of which, he then began to notice something rather subtle about himself. For a moment, he wasn't sure what it is. He just shrugged and attributed his increase in body temperature to Asuna's good soup and bread.

"Anyway, things are good so far..." Gus added.

"Good," Chris said as he took the tray in his hands. "You all watch the perimeter while I go and feed the squad up front."

"Yes sir..." The two soldiers saluted. Chris walked towards the front gate. Damion takes a bite in one of the chicken balls.

"Man, that girl can cook... I wonder if that's the reason Kazuto fell for her..." He said to himself. Damion chuckled from the thought before taking more of the soup.

"The cheese is a delight..." Gus commented.

"Who would've thought we'd come to Japan for the best cream soup ever," the corporal in charge of the squad laughed.

"And we're not talking about soup we could make at home..." He continued.

Another one of the soldiers said, "my mother can barely afford to make this back home in Wisconsin... everything is still so darn expensive there."

"Even with the Restoration Act continuing to rebuilt most of the south-west and north-west US..." Gus concluded. "Even though Anderson Tech managed to make progress in both agriculture and construction..."

Damion knew that he was not the only young soldier dealing with the big bills at home. Everyone here's trying to help out their families back home. While he was grateful that he and his family managed to make it out of Arizona before the Pacifican Army and the Blue Cosmos came in and wrecked havoc. It also devastated his family financially. While Texas, Florida, Cuba, the California states, and the rest of the eastern US states were being showcased as the most revitalized economies in America, many others out west were either making modest gains, or very little in the past two to four years since the civil war ended. This also includes the towns and cities that were destroyed by nuclear warheads during the final months of the war.

Damion shook his head. The method the Pacifican government took to show that they're a force to be reckoned with. Even with Pacifica was beginning to implode after they firebombed Hawaii to contain their biological weapon when it leaked. For all intents and purposes, while the democratic republic had been restored in Washington, many parts of the country remained under emergency governance and aid.

Damion finished his soup around the same time as Preston did. "Well, I hope Asuna made enough, because I'm up for seconds!"

Preston laughed before he came back and took the bowl. "Don't worry, private. She's made enough for everyone."

It was then that the young Captain America came back. "Anybody else?"

"I wouldn't mind a second bowl!" One soldier called out. "Cheers for Asuna Yuuki!"

"Don't you mean Asuna Kirigaya?" Another soldier asked.

"Of course. They just need to tie the knot in real life!"

"I agree!" Gus laughed. Chris just took the cups onto the tray and went to the front door.

"I wonder where and when they're gonna have the actual wedding?" Gus asked.

"Who knows, Gus?" Damion shrugged, "but after all they've been through and seen together, they could at least catch a break with a good one."

"You got that right, Damion..." Gus agreed.

Inside:

"...And that's how Asuna and I remained together ever since..." Kazuto finishes. He had told Asuna's mother about their time in SAO from their first meeting up to their in-game marriage. Kyouko, on the other hand was impressed by Asuna's stories.

"And we also adopted children as well..." Asuna added.

"You did?" Kyouko did a double take upon hearing the word 'children'.

"We did... Well, we adopted Yui in SAO..." Kazuto explained. "We didn't know that she had a sister until ALO..."

"Adopted?" Kyouko wondered, "but where are they now?"

"They're in cyberspace..." Asuna answered.

"That..." it was then that Kyouko put it together, "are they... AI?"

Both Kazuto and Asuna nodded.

"And believe me, they're no ordinary AIs..." Kouichirou expressed. Suddenly Asuna's phone beeped before a muffled voice tried to speak. Asuna drew the phone out of her pocket.

"Hi Mommy!" Yui called out.

"Yui-chan!" Asuna squealed.

"Don't forget me!" Strea chirped.

"Strea!"

"Hey there, Strea and Yui," Kazuto scooted next to Asuna to look at the two together.

"Hi Dad/Daddy!" Both Strea and Yui cheered.

Kyouko could not see from across the table, but she overheard the cheery voices.

"How are you two doing?" Kazuto asked.

Yui giggled as Strea held her. "We had fun!"

"You can tell everyone about it." Asuna smiled.

"We are picking up your location, Mom," Strea said, "it looks like... you're at a place called the Yuuki Estate..."

"That's correct, Strea... We're at my home..." Asuna explains. "And your dad and I are with my family."

"Can we see them?" Yui asked.

"Sure..." Asuna turned his phone around to get a view of the entire dinner table. Yui and Strea smiled upon seeing Kouichirou and Shouzou.

"Hi Uncle Kouichirou and Grandpa Shouzou!" The AI girls cheered and waved.

"Hello again!" Kouchirou waved back. As Shouzou waved back as well. Both Yui and Strea noticed Kyouko. Kyouko stared back at the two girls on the phone.

Asuna spoke up. "Yui, Strea... This is my mother, Kyouko... Your adoptive grandmother..."

"Adoptive grandmother!?" Strea suddenly lit up.

"In that case..." Yui said before she and Strea cheered. "Hi Grandma Kyouko!"

Kyouko was not used to such cheeriness, and it was a bit sudden. "Uh... Hi, Yui and Strea..." Kyouko sheepishly waves back.

"It's nice to meet you!" Yui beamed.

"Same here!" Strea cheered.

"So... you both are really AIs?" Kyouko asked.

Yui nodded. "We're Mental Health Counseling Programs." Yui then gave a soft and kind expression. "Mommy thought she lost you and Sada... she loves you both very much."

"And we both hope Sada recovers soon..." Yui added.

"You both went through a very traumatic experience," Strea added, "and so did Mom, Asuna. She really thought that you both had died."

"We're just glad that everyone had made it out of this alive..." She continued.

Kyouko only managed to say, "thank you."

"You're welcome..." Yui gave a tender and hopeful smile. "We understand that this is sudden for you... Grandma."

Then Strea perks up. "But at least we'll be a whole family..."

Kyouko looked at the two AI girls, then to Asuna, who seemed both sheepish and happy. Then, Kyouko smiled slightly. "Asuna..."

"Mom?" Asuna asked.

"You've become a far more dignified woman with a wonderful partner than I thought was ever possible," Kyouko said, "you get past this upcoming trial... and your father and I will make the necessary arrangements..."

Asuna was confused. "Arrangements?"

"As legally soon as possible..." Kyouko looked to Shouzou, "we give you and Kazuto Kirigaya permission to marry."

Asuna's eyes widen in surprise. Even Kazuto was speechless.

"F-For real?" Asuna stammered.

"I assure you, dear," Shouzou said with a smile, "and he's proven himself under no ordinary circumstances."

"And he risked his life twice to save you..." Kyouko added, also with a smile. "And so, I approve of the relationship you two have shared with each other..." She turns to Kazuto. "And you have our blessings, Kazuto..."

Kazuto was blushing and stunned with great surprise. "T-Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Yuuki..." He said with a bow.

"And if what Asuna told us about you is true," Kyouko added, "and I have little doubt at this point... become a good programmer, and you will earn well for yourself and your family."

"I will..." Kazuto promised. "I was looking into Anderson Tech Industries before SAO... I think I could apply for it in the future..."

"Well... this may be late for that, but," Shouzou suddenly said, "whatever help you need with starting your career..."

"Thank you again..." Kazuto nodded and smiled.

"RECT may have taken damage from this," Shouzou said, "but I will clear its good name of Hydra's taint with whatever it takes."

"Do you think Anderson Tech would help out?" Asuna asked. "I mean, I understand that both RECT and Anderson Tech are rival companies and all..."

"True..." Yui added. "We've met him during the ALO campaign. He's more down to earth for a CEO of his family's company..."

"Are you thinking what I think you're thinking, honey?" Kazuto asked Asuna.

Asuna nodded before replying. "We could ask Anderson-san himself and see if he'll help us... I propose a partnership with him, particularly in areas of defense and cybersecurity."

Shouzou thought about it for a moment. It was then he answered. "I'll consider on asking Anderson about the partnership with RECT..." Shouzou exhaled, "and to answer your proposal, Asuna, RECT actually does have some defense contracts with the Japanese government."

Now that was indeed a surprise for Asuna.

"But, given on what has happened, not to mention what is happening within the Japanese Diet." He continued. "We could use some more help to get RECT out of the mess..."

"Father... what exactly does RECT do for defense?" Asuna was now curious, though part of her was a bit afraid to ask.

He sighed before he answered. "Missile defense systems, military avionics... and the latest generation of anti-cyborg firearms."

"Oh... I see..." Asuna said with nervousness in her voice.

"Anti-cyborg firearms..." Kazuto pondered. His eyes widened, "wait... Mr. Yuuki, are you saying that you're the owner of Seburo Firearms!?"

"That's correct..." Shouzou answered. "They were acquired just a year ago."

Kazuto and Asuna looked at each other nervously. There's a possibility that Hydra would be able to get blue prints for weapon designs. "But... why?" Asuna was confused, "I didn't think that our family would actually get involved with such weapons."

The AI daughters and Kazuto glanced towards admitted, "it was because of the increasing threat of rogue androids and superhumans... the government wanted practical weapons for soldiers to fight them with."

"Especially after what happened back in 2015 and onward..." He added. "...With Ultron..."

"Seburo was created from the onset as a small arms company to address Japan's lack of domestic weapons for Japanese government agencies," Kazuto further elaborated to Asuna, "their recent foray into weapons specifically for superhuman and android crime and warfare involved some revolutionary weapon concepts that nearly bankrupted them."

"After the Second Civil War began in the States and the United Nations and European Union collapsed, Japan sought to develop advanced weapons to arm the Self-Defense Force from possible attacks from China." He continued.

Kouichirou then had an expression of concern. "Father... maybe I should head over to Seburo and check our inventories and files. I want to be sure that nothing has been stolen or appropriated." The thought of Japan's latest guns falling into Hydra's grasp was troubling.

"Sure thing, son..." Shouzou nodded. "It'll be best if you do..."

"Make sure every gun is accounted for," Kyouko concurred. Asuna sensed some level of discomfort that she never felt before from the usually stoic woman.

"Will do, mother..."

During their conversation, Captain Burke enters through the front door with the tray of empty bowls. "Miss Asuna, Mister Kazuto," he called out.

Kazuto and Asuna both got up and approached Captain Burke.

"Do the boys out there want seconds?" Asuna deduced.

"My men are very hungry," Chris confirmed, "and... I think you just seduced them all with your cooking."

Kazuto did a double take, then laughed. "D-did you just make a joke?"

"I wasn't meaning to," Chris raised a quirked eyebrow.

Asuna giggled. "It's alright if you meant to or not..." She smiles as she takes the tray and heads into the kitchen.

"I'll help again," Kazuto followed his wife. He sees Asuna filling up the bowls with the creamy soup.

"The soldiers of Howler Platoon can't get enough of your soup, Asuna..." Kazuto commented before giving Asuna a peck on the cheek.

Asuna smiled with a pink tint to her face. "So glad that everyone's enjoying my cooking..." She said. "It's the least I can do for all the trouble everyone put up with."

"True..." Kazuto placed more of the parmesan bread with the bowl. "But if it helps, any trouble involving you worthwhile for me to go through."

"Kazuto..." Asuna sighed happily, touched by her husband's words. "You always say the sweetest things," Asuna purred as she touched his cheek.

"Anything to cheer you up, my Lightning Flash..." Kazuto teased. "And when we are married... I can spoil you rotten..." He then slipped a hand towards Asuna's waist.

"Mmmmmm... Kazuto-kun..." Asuna cooed from Kazuto's touches.

"I'm sure you would love that." Kazuto then teased with a stroke towards Asuna's crotch.

This caused Asuna to squeak in surprise and to blush heavily. She had to cup her own mouth to suppress it. She gave some light slaps to Kazuto. "Kazuto... My parents are in the next room..." She said in a hushed tone, still blushing. "Have some patience!"

"Sorry, couldn't help myself..." Kazuto chuckled and blushed. He continues to hug her from behind and nuzzling into her shoulder. Chris silently watched by accident, having come to check on the second helpings for his men.

After a few moments, Kazuto breaks the embrace. "We should get the soup for the soldiers outside. They're probably wondering what's going on..." He chuckled.

"I can easily see why," Chris suddenly announced, causing both teens to jump up. "I can read you both like the open books you are."

"C-Captain Burke!" Kazuto stammered. Both he and Asuna are blushing out of embarrassment.

"Better finish up before either your parents or my troops start asking," the new Captain America advised, "and I won't tell of Mister Kazuto's little escapade here."

"Will do, Captain..." Asuna nodded before the Captain left.

"You think the soup's still warm?" Kazuto asked, he noticed that the bowls are no longer steaming.

Asuna sighed, "at least we have the gas stove."

Kazuto sighed, "I'll microwave the bowls."

"Better reheat the pot," Asuna muttered, a little embarrassed.

Mitchell Residence:

"That was good," Suguha was all smiles.

"I'm glad you loved it." Alex replied, he was too all smiles. "Both our moms really whipped up a good meal."

"And I love the spaghetti and meatballs..." Suguha replied.

"And your mother's sausage," Alex added. "It was out of this world..."

"Glad to hear that," Midori said. "It combined perfectly with the spaghetti..."

Marie smiled for Midori's contribution. "We should do this more often whenever your family comes over every now and then..." Marie suggested.

"Yes, Midori," David said, "you and your family are welcome in this house."

"And it's been a while since we had company..." Marie added. "I don't get to make a lot of new friends outside the military base. And I haven't heard anything from my family from America..."

Midori looked sympathetic to the woman. Even this far out, the echoes of America's previous discord had their effects abroad. She knew about how the majority of the US pacific fleet defied the Pacifican's orders to support them. Japan's was one of the countries. It gave shelter to the Pacific Fleet loyal to the United States until command to be re-established.

"I'm sure that your family's alright..." Midori said with reassurance.

"I still need to get in touch with old Sam, but I'm also positive," David reassured his wife.

Marie looked towards both David and Midori and smiled. "Thank you, it means a lot to me," Marie expressed. Alex and Suguha watched on as the adults are enjoying the conversation.

"I do hope that my relatives are okay as well..." Alex said to Suguha.

"I understand, Alex..." Suguha replied in agreement. "Just let your dad talk to Captain Burke's dad."

"I think he already did..." Alex replied. "Hopefully we get something."

"That we will, Alex." David nodded. "That we will..."

"It's a big country after all," Jonathan added. "So they could've been anywhere safe when the civil war began.."

"You see, Alex?" Suguha sounded optimistic, "they can be alive and anywhere."

Alex chuckled. He still remembered what Kazuto said about Suguha telling him not to give up. "You've got a point."

Suguha smiles before hugged Alex.

Marie laughed to see the endearing sight. "So happy to see Alex being able to find love..." She sighed. "And one so supportive..."

Suguha blushes from Marie's comments.

"Why thank you, Mom," Alex grinned.

"You're welcome, Alex..."

After leftovers were placed in tupperware containers and stowed in the fridge, everyone headed to the living room to relax and enjoy the conversation.

"This is such a lovely home you have, Marie..." Midori commented. "And once again, thank you for having us here..."

"It's a pleasure, Midori," Marie said, "and I hope to meet the rest of your amazing family one day."

Meanwhile, Suguha curled up against Alex. "You have a fireplace, Alex?"

"Yep, but it's one of those electric fireplaces." Alex replied. "What do you have in mind?" Alex gave a knowing grin.

"I was wondering that if you had a real fireplace," Suguha smiled, "you could help start it up and have a warm, toasty fire... like those romance scenes in all those dramas."

"Hmmm..." Alex pondered for a moment. "We do have the fire pit in the back yard for events..." He turns to his father. "You think it'll be okay to get the fire pit started tonight?"

"I can't think of a lovelier time, son," David agreed.

"Then it's decided... A fire pit tonight..." Marie chirped.

"Missed it," Jonathan beamed.

"We'll get the kindle and firewood." David added.

"I never had a firepit before," Midori said.

"Then this will be your first time, Midori..." Marie smiled.

Outside the Yuuki manor:

"I wonder what's taking Asuna so long?" Gus asked. He shivered from the cold for a moment. It was then that Captain America came out with the soup. "Heads up boys."

"Oh man... Thought it'd never get here..." Gus shivered.

Damion rubbed his buddy's shoulders, strangely not feeling too cold at the moment. "Don't worry, Gus." He chuckled.

"Here," Captain offered bowls to the troops.

"Thanks, Captain..." Damion said as they took the bowls. Damion dips his spoon and tasted the cheese-melted soup.

"This is good..."

"You got that right..." Gus smiled before chewing on one of the chicken balls. "I wish my mom back home could cook this!"

"I know what you mean..." Damion said. Captain then went over and gave Iron Man his cup.

"Thank you, Captain..." Iron Man smiled. The young Ranger leader nodded as he took a sip.

"Nothing like a good hot soup in a cold winter month. Right?" Iron Man asked as he sipped his soup.

"Right," Chris punctually agreed as he sipped.

Damion enjoyed the soup as best as he could. He began thinking about Philia... Kotone again. There was something strangely familiar about her, like he met her before.

'I haven't heard from Kotone in years... And yet, I get this feeling about Philia...' He thought as he chewed the chicken ball. The two were very similar, but Kotone, or J4smin3 as her username was, Damion had not seen since the time his family had to flee the war. During the conflict, Damion and his family were relocated in Georgia. While his father, Damion Senior was not on the frontlines, he had plenty of troubles making a living as a temporary cop in Atlanta keeping the peace. Several of the pro-Sokovia Blue Cosmos that were living within the Free States cause some trouble. Despite achieving their goals, they were dealt with by the police and the Free States national guard.

They remained in Atlanta for a couple more years after the civil war ended before moving back to Arizona. Even though Damion Sr. got a steady job as an engineer, life was still quite a recovery.

Damion Jr. managed to get himself a new laptop and tried to find Kotone. However, he was unable to reach her.

"I wonder what happened to her..."

"Damion?" A voice asked. It was Gus.

"Oh!" Damion was startled. "Yeah?"

"You alright, Damion?"

"Um... yeah," Damion scratched the back of his head.

"Good... Don't let the soup get cold..." Gus pointed out.

"Oh, right!" He resumes his soup. To his surprise, it's still warm. He hummed as he savored the soup.

Inside the manor:

Asuna bathed as she let the warm water soothe her. It was nice to be in the bathroom inside her home again. It would be even better with her husband, but they agreed that he would bathe separately in Kouichirou's bath until they properly tied the knot.

Asuna sighed from the thought of being able to bathe together in the future. She closed her eyes.

"Kazuto-kun..." She moaned. She began to fantasize. Suddenly her eyes snapped open and she began slapped her cheeks.

'Get a hold of yourself, Asuna.' She mentally told herself. 'I wouldn't want to be lewd like that... At least, not until we're married...' Asuna giggled at her own naughtiness. She could see the reaction on Kazuto's face when they get started in bed. Now that was something she looked forward to.

She then thought about Yui and Strea. She was glad that they got acquainted with her mother. As of now, they were both downstairs on an internet TV talking with her father and mother still. No doubt her mom asking about Strea's appearance to be older than Yui. It was baffling, but Strea had a charm for winning people over with her bubbly cuteness.

'It's no wonder Nathan fell for Strea...' Asuna then giggled. So she wouldn't be surprised that she's told her parents about her love interest with Nathan. 'I wonder how'd they react?'

'No doubt they'd be surprised...' Asuna resumed her relaxation in the bath.

Meanwhile, Kazuto was also bathing. He found the tub more soothing.

'I can't wait to enjoy this with Asuna...' Deep down, he wanted to join Asuna in the tub. But he knew that they should wait.

'Whoa, easy man,' he told himself with a blush. 'You gotta control yourself...'

Still, the thought that he and Asuna could get married soon with approval excited him. The evening has gotten better for them. And now he was pondering when to propose and what date to propose the wedding. Not to mention finding the wedding ring to propose to her. In the first place, it was not as though he had a lot of money...

'I wonder if either my mom or Asuna's mom could provide a ring for me to propose her with?' He wondered.

'Either way, I'll probably do right with either.' For now, he'll just have to wait. He closed his eyes, and began to fantasize more of his life with Asuna.

"Asuna..." He sighed happily as he sinks into the tub until the water reached up to his chin. He saw himself and Asuna in a garden house of their own, surrounded by many kids. A house in the middle of the countryside near the forest and lake. Just like the one they had on the 22nd Floor. He could see Asuna in his arms, with Strea and Yui, both as teenagers, surrounded by their many other brothers and sisters.

And his sister, Suguha with Alex as her husband. Both of whom make visits to them and with children of their own. Interestingly, he saw not only Nathan with Strea, but even daydreamed that the teenage Yui had a boyfriend of her own.

"One big happy family..." Kazuto hummed with delight. He didn't know how soon, but Kazuto was confident about making it happen soon. He then thought about Suguha. Earlier before entering the tub, he learned that Suguha's with Alex's family. It felt great. He wouldn't be surprised if Suguha's given the family welcome like he did after SAO was cleared.

Mitchell Residence:

Suguha warmed her hands around the fire. "Mmmmmm... So toasty..." She sighed happily.

Masculine arms and a firm chest pressed against her from behind. Alex smiled as he held Suguha on his lap. "But not as toasty as me..." Alex teased, causing Suguha to giggle.

"Thanks for helping us with the fire, Alex..." Jon said smiling. Alex gave a cocky smile as he held up a flaming finger.

"It's hard to believe that our Alex has superpowers..." Marie said in awe.

"So it was not a game feature..." David remarked.

"During the Alfheim War, I thought it was..." Alex explained. "Then I was able to produce flames from my fingertips and hands."

Suguha snuggled up to him. "And he's not even cold..." She commented.

Midori gave a tease, "though Alex-kun, you should remember to take her out to dinner first."

"True..." Alex admitted with flushing cheeks.

"Mom!" Suguha blushed.

Everyone began to laugh as the two teens blushed.

"Yeah, Alex," Marie teased, "at least court her properly before you seal the deal!"

This made Alex blush even harder. Jon was keeling over with laughter.

"Mom!" Alex cried.

"Okay, Marie..." David managed to say through his laughter. "I think that's enough of that."

Soon, the laughter died down and everyone enjoyed the fire. Alex held Suguha as he drank some hot cocoa.

"Thanks for the hot cocoa, mom." Suguha said as she drank her cup. She nuzzled against Alex again. Alex held her closer.

"How is this?" Alex smiled softly.

"I love it..." Suguha cooed.

"And how does it compare to the movies?" Alex asked.

Suguha gave a thoughtful expression before sighing in comfort. "This is even better."

"Very good..." Alex smiled. He plants a kiss on Suguha's cheek.

"It's real... and you're here," Suguha added. "And our family's here with us..."

The two watched the fire crackle. Feeling the warm glow from the flames.

"That's your fire... Alex. The fire that brought everyone together..."

Alex looked back down to Suguha. "That's a nice thing to say..."

"And true..." Suguha replied. "After all, we managed to give Kazuto hope to rescue Asuna and everyone..."

"Did you?" Marie asked, "I did not know that."

"I did..." Alex nodded. "Kazuto was discouraged..."

"I found him all depressed in his bedroom..." Suguha added.

"Depressed?" David wondered, "what happened?"

"He came back from the hospital and his encounter with... him..." Alex replied. His tone uttered darkly upon mentioning 'him'.

"Him?" Jonathan questioned, but upon seeing Suguha give him a headshake, he then figured it out. "You don't mean Nobuyuki..."

"Correct..." Alex responded. "He managed to discourage Kazuto by threaten him not to see her or contact her family... All so he can snatch her away from Kazuto... I heard everything from outside Asuna's hospital room..."

Suguha then remembered when Kazuto came home... At first, she didn't think much. But later that night when she noted that it was cold in his bedroom. That's when he broke down in tears.

"I was the one who comforted him, but I had no idea just how bad it truly was."

Then Alex continued. "The next day, Kazuto, Nathan, Kenji and I got an email from Andrew Mills regarding of Asuna..." He explained about the photo that the five players took while trying to fly up to the World Tree. "I thought it was random at the time..."

"However, it did us a favor and gave us proof that Asuna's inside the game and the World Tree and we mounted an rescue operation to save her. It was further confirmed when Yui and Strea scanned the World Tree and found her as well as the other 299 players from SAO..."

"And then we met Captain Burke and Lieutenant Preston," Suguha added, "after they wiped the floor with a bunch of guys bullying us."

"And later on during the Siege of Alne, we also met Colonel Rogers and Captain Anderson..." Alex smirked.

"Anderson? As in Thomas Anderson?" Jon asked.

"The one and only..." Alex replied. His grin grew.

Midori smiled. "In such a short time, Suguha met such remarkable people... including your son, Marie."

Marie replied. "I'm just glad that everyone's alright in the end..."

Alex then laughed a bit. "And now that I think of it... maybe our meeting the Howlers was no coincidence."

"How so?" Marie asked.

"Well Mom," Alex elaborated, "I suspect that player that took the photos of Asuna in the birdcage... she was likely an American agent."

Everyone was taken aback upon hearing this. Could it be that the US government were aware of this beforehand?

"Alex has a point," Suguha added, "I mean... how else would the American military have organized such an operation?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson had a first-hand in it..." Alex concluded. "I mean, he did created the American Rangers to stand up against the old US government and later the Second Civil War... And then there's the crisis in Israel back in October 2023... Where he lead the Rangers stationed in Israel to thwart the Hamas and Ten Rings strike forces..."

"During the two months of Alex's recovery, we explained what has happened in the real world while he was in SAO..." Jon explained to Suguha.

"I see..." Suguha knew what the older Mitchell brother means. "Anyway... With their help, we managed to push through Hydra's defenses and made our way to the top..."

"We all remember that," Midori said with a headshake, "after an entire episode of war..."

"He was captured and his plans for world domination fell..." Alex finished.

"True..." Jonathan remarked, "but you know... I think the Army was rather presumptuous to name this Operation Finalizer."

"Why is that?" Midori asked.

"I mean... we've captured Nobuyuki, the Supreme Commander, " Jon elaborated, "but Hydra still destroyed our military headquarters in Japan. If they survived the Fall of SHIELD back in 2014, who knows how long it would take before they're finally destroyed..."

"If they could still destroy headquarters without their Supreme Commander... they are much more organized and powerful than we could have imagined."

"And now that the whole world's aware of Hydra's resurrection, the governments will have to take action and be ready when the time comes..." Alex surmises.

"And if they know what is good for them, they will stop attacking Kazuto and Asuna," Suguha huffed, "because if they do, I will not shed a tear when Captain America kicks down their doors."

"Same for me..." Alex grunted.

Jonathan noticed the both of them getting angry. "Um... I know Chris guys. He's a tough soldier, but he's not exactly rogue enough to do that unless he has orders to do so. He's no vigilante."

"Jon's right, Sugu..." Alex sighed before bringing her in a hug.

"I know..." Suguha said, finally calming down with Alex hugging her.

Midori whispered to Marie. "I know that she's still traumatized from... you know."

"I know, I've saw the whole thing..." Marie whispered back. She shuddered. "That man was so inhuman, so I can't exactly blame Asuna for what she did..."

"And now, he'll be facing trial for what he did..." Midori concluded.

"But there's something that bugs me..." Marie admitted.

Midori listens in.

"Didn't Asuna say that there were Hydra agents inside the government?" Marie reminded, "and what's to say that they don't have judges and attorneys on their payrolls?"

"From what I've heard, the Japanese Diet's a battleground over who's on Hydra's side..." Midori explained. "So, I wouldn't be surprise if the US government's going through the same phase..."

Midori then felt the implications sink in. "Y-you don't think that there would be a judge that... would release him!?"

"I hope not..." Marie replied. "... but I would hope that he does not end up before a possible bribed judge who would."

The two women fell silent upon the realization. Midori thought that if the outrage across Japan over Asuna's revelation would one thing, it could turn into an outright riot if Nobuyuki was ever released by a corrupt judge. And it could bring the armies of both America, Russia, and even China into the whole situation. Midori looked over to Alex comforting Suguha back to her warm smile. She thought to herself that her daughter and boyfriend had better enjoy the slice of peace they had together...

She also hoped the same for her son and daughter-in-law...

For whatever reason... Midori just had this strange feeling like with her husband back in the police force that some more bad things were about to go down.

Yuuki manor:

Kazuto came out of Kouichirou's shower in his night clothes.

"Hope everything fits..." Kouichirou said to Kazuto. "It's my old clothes."

"They fit just fine..." Kazuto smiled. "Thank you, Kouichirou."

"You're welcome, Kazuto..." Kouichirou nodded. "Anything for my future brother-in-law."

"Hehe..." Kazuto's cheeks flustered. He was still settling into the royal treatment. "So... Is your parents still downstairs?" He asked.

Kouichirou looked down the stairs. "Yeah," he breathed, "they've been in that office for a long time."

"They must be still taking with Yui and Strea..." Kazuto chuckled.

"I imagine it so," Kouichirou said with a grin, "those two have a contagious excitement to them."

A few moments later, Asuna came out with her night gown. Kazuto thought that the night gown hugged her nicely.

"That is true, Kouichirou-niisan..." Asuna replied. "And Yui especially," Asuna squealed softly.

"Don't forget Strea, Asuna..." Kazuto reminded while grinning. "She's fun."

"That she is..." Asuna giggled. "And she makes Yui look even more huggable!"

Kouchirou couldn't help but laugh. "So true, Asuna-nechan!"

The two Yuuki siblings laughed and hugged themselves.

Downstairs in the home office:

Shouzou and Kyouko sat together. Both Yui and Strea still displayed on the internet TV screen.

"So you both are former Mental Health Counselors," Kyouko said.

That's correct, Grandma..." Yui nodded. "Strea and I were created to help stabilize the mental conditions of those who would play Sword Art Online, though I only learned of Strea's existence some time after I had left the confines of my programming."

"I even tried to located Yui-san after she left..." Strea nodded.

Strea then displayed a status window of her own body. "I may look older than Yui..." She explains. "But she's older by two years... I just took the avatar of a player character to go and find Yui."

"However, I ended up finding one of the players..." She added.

"This Codex... Nathan," Shouzou asked, "does he know what you are?"

"During in SAO... He didn't..." Strea admitted. "... but he found out when I was revived in ALO."

"Revived?" Kyouko asked.

Yui gave Strea a knowing smile before looking back at her grandparents. "And after we revived, we were reunited with Daddy and Nathan..."

"... and we helped them get to town with Auntie Sugu..."

"And Uncle Alex and Uncle Kenji..." Yui added.

"Oh, and we also met the Captain and his lieutenant there," Strea said.

"Captain Burke and Lieutenant Preston..." Shouzou deduced.

"That's right," Strea nodded, "and when Dad logged in with the others, they were there too."

"Everyone from SAO logged in to help free mommy and the others..." Yui said.

"But boy was Burke... or Revere in the game... a ruthless one," Strea shuddered. "Especially when he confronted one of the players in the Tower of Wind..."

Oh?" Shouzou raised an eyebrow.

"Sigurd tried to force Auntie Sugu back into his team and threated dad and the others..." Strea continued.

"But Daddy and his friends couldn't defend themselves due to the game's system of players not being able to fight while in other territory cities..." Yui frowned.

"But then Preston came along and managed to put up a fight against Sigurd..." Strea chirped up. "And he was rescued by Captain Burke and they took on the Sylph players together..."

"And of course, everyone joined with Captain Burke and Lieutenant Preston in the mission..." Kyouko deduced.

Both Yui and Strea nodded.

"And we made our way to the elevator and left the city. Afterwards, we've met with the others..." Strea said. "And we joined forces with the two military officers to break towards the World Tree."

"And after the trickery they pulled with the other players..." Yui added. "Captain Burke called in his reinforcements after the Legrue Corridor."

"And then, the GM system tried to lock us out from the update... But Captain Anderson managed to bypass the lock and gave everyone new weapons and gear." Strea continued.

"And thus leading to the siege of Alfheim," Shouzou finished. The two AIs nodded, as nothing more needed to be said as the whole world saw the war unfold.

"And after the whole war ended, daddy connected his NerveGear helmet to his laptop and we managed to roam freely..." Yui smiled.

"Yep!" Strea giggled. "And we've learned so much about your world!" Strea twirled about on-screen. She opened up several windows discussing certain topics and the people that took place in the Total War in Alfheim.

"Don't worry, Grandpa and Grandma! All of the pages are secure!" Strea chirped. "Although, I'm amazing that Thomas Anderson himself is a veteran of the Second Civil War across the Pacific..."

"True... But the Second Civil War wasn't all fun..." Yui reminded.

"War is not fun, period," Shouzou replied, "and people have died."

"That is true, Strea..." Kyouko agreed. "They're things that happened to the States in the civil war and most of them aren't pretty or for the faint of heart..." She continued somberly.

"Grandma's right, Strea-nechan..." Yui added. "Don't forget how you felt when those players suffered."

Strea paused for a moment. Yui had a point. And if the players in ALO suffered by the hands of Hydra, there's no telling how many people in America suffered during the civil war.

"You're right," Strea said. "During the first two days, I thought it was like any other RPG game... But when we lead the siege of Alne..." She paused. She appeared to be troubled.

Yui sensed this and hugged Strea. "It's okay Strea... We won and he's been defeated..."

"Yeah, Yui. And I would even say just desserts for him," Strea admitted. She responded by hugging Yui back.

Shouzou and Kyouko observed the sister-to-sister sight.

'These two are something... Right Kyouko?' Shouzou projected his thoughts to her.

'Yes... and you can sense life signs from them?' Kyouko asked.

'I have... These two aren't ordinary AIs.. These two are something different.'

Kyouko was astonished for what she's receiving. She looked back to the AI sisters, then back to Shouzou. She wondered how that was possible.

Strea finished hugging Yui.

"Grandma?" Strea asked. Snapping Kyouko out of her thoughts.

"Yes?" Kyouko asked. She still needed to get used to that. "Sorry, I was deep in thought about what happened..."

"So you are a teacher?" Strea suddenly asked.

Kyouko nodded. "I'm a professor teaching at the Tokyo University... and I teach economics."

"Wow..." Strea gasped.

"Amazing..." Yui stated.

"That's the study of how financial transactions and trade are conducted," Strea said, recalling her research.

"That's correct..." Kyouko replied. "It helps the new generation adapt to the world when they get older... Economics is no easy subject."

"From what I've read, that's true..." Strea agreed. "So much to learn about the real world..." Then Strea opens up another window. "I've also learned about the world before the Civil War and everything else..."

She scrolled through. She then played a video clip of a news report dated back in May 25th, 2008.

"Been a while since I was in front of you. I figure I'll stick to the cards this time." Tony Stark began. "There's been speculation that I was involved in the events that occurred on the freeway and the rooftop..."

It was then one of the news reporters, Christine Everhart spoke up. "I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, but do you honestly expect us to believe that that was a bodyguard in a suit that conveniently appeared, despite the fact that you..."

"I know that it's confusing." Stark counters. "... It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations, or insinuate that I'm a superhero."

"I never said you were a superhero..." Everhart replied.

"Didn't?" He chuckled. "Well, good, because that would be outlandish and fantastic. I'm just not the hero type. Clearly. With this laundry list of character defects, all the mistakes I've made, largely public."

Colonel Rhodes whispered something in Stark's ear. They weren't sure what was being said. But Tony Stark glanced at the card that he was holding.

"The truth is..." Stark paused for a moment... Then he looked up and uttered. "I am Iron Man..." It was then reporters begin crowding Tony Stark upon hearing that statement.

"That is Iron Man... or was," Shouzou said, thinking about his successor outside.

"Correct..." Yui answered. "This was taken years before everything... This also took place four years before the Battle of New York..." She then pulled up footage of alien ships and what appears to be a giant eel-like creatures coming out of a portal in the sky above Manhattan Island.

"And around the same time that the original Captain America re-emerged," Yui added. Footage of the Avengers are shown. The original Captain America is seen taking on the aliens with his shield.

"Is it just me," Strea chimed, "or does Steve Rogers look much younger then?"

"Now that you've mentioned it..." Yui remarked. "He does look younger..."

Both Shouzou and Kyouko Yuuki observed the young Steve Rogers in the footage.

"He's certainly aged," it occurred to Kyouko. Then they see what appears to be a green giant running through the city tearing apart the alien invaders, as well as fighting alongside another Avenger dressed in armor and sports a bright red cape and long blonde hair. He appears to be wielding a hammer which summons lightning from it.

"That's Thor," Shouzou pointed out, "a visitor from the planet Asgard."

"From what we've read..." Yui said. "Thor's the king of the United Kingdom of New Asgard. Nations of Norway, Finland, and Sweden united under the Asgardian banner..."

"Correct... It is unclear why Thor would rename the kingdom New Asgard... But it happened after the Civil War and the United Nations became non-existent along with the European Union..." Shouzou shook his head. "Then again, with the United States and Europe tearing themselves apart, I suppose the Scandinavians were looking for leadership to steady their ships."

"The same went with some of the nations in Africa... Near Wakanda..." Kyouko added.

Yui pondered for a moment before looking up the nation. She came across a news clip that was recorded on July 9th, 2016, at the United Nations International Centre in Vienna, Austria. It showed King T'Challa, leader of Wakanda, approaching the podium. Silence beings to fill the room as everyone watched the King of Wakanda compose himself. Soon he begun to speak.

"Wakanda will no longer watch from the shadows. We can not. We must not. We will work to be an example of how we, as brothers and sisters on this earth, should treat each other. Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."

It was then, out of the blue, one of the committee member from France, stood up and asked a question. "With all due respect, King T'Challa, what can a nation of farmers offer to the rest of the world?"

As the camera zoomed in on T'Challa, a smile cracks across his face.

"Oh, you would be very surprised my good sir, of what Wakanda can offer..." T'Challa said. It was then he turned to one of his bodyguards, Okoye understood her king's instructions and spoke.

"We have an element that make up for the technology of Wakanda. That element is Vibranium." She then presents a device that almost looks like an cell phone. With a gentle touch, the device projected a good sized video screen. At first, no one was impressed as they've seen this kind of technology from Stark Industries. T'Challa anticipated this and had Okoye speak further.

"This is one of the marvels of Wakandan technology," More images then followed including the advanced rail system of Wakanda. Some of the crowd begin to take interest when they saw the rail system.

"Is that a maglev?" Someone asked.

"Correct... We also have an unlimited supply of Vibranium within the borders," Okoye continued. "This is due to the fact that many years ago, an asteroid containing Vibranium, crashed into Earth, and affected the local area. One such example was a heart-shaped plant that had wonderful properties. We people of Wakanda soon found uses for the metal."

After Okoye finished, T'Challa spoke. "As you can see, there is more to us than meets the eye. And we're willing to help out." This caused many to discuss among themselves in regards to the new information. T'Challa waits patiently. Then one of the people in the room then speaks up.

"How soon will the Vibranium technology be on the global market?"

"My people are working on an estimated timeline of when it can be done as it has to be done carefully." T'Challa added. "And for now, I'm in the process of forming a trade with one of the companies in America."

"Which company is that?"

"Anderson Tech Industries. That where I'll start. After that, who knows." This caused many to start muttering in disbelief.

"At the time, people wondered why he didn't go with Stark Industries, which was bigger at the time," Shouzou added.

"Agreed... It appears that no one approved Anderson Tech at that time..." Strea observed.

T'Challa noticed this and speaks again. "I can understand about the current events regarding with the Sokovia Accords. But, Wakanda has to start somewhere and Anderson Tech Industries is where our nation is going to start out with."

He then continues. "Anderson Tech Industries has shown that they have earned our trust and respect. And, despite some opinions with the Accords, we the kingdom of Wakanda have made our choice and the international community must respect it."

Silence filled the room. It lasted for a good five minutes before someone spoke up.

"Alright then, we'll allow it." T'Challa nodded and smiled at the news.

"Anderson Tech was relatively new on the scene," Shouzou added. "They first created in the 1970s and grew into a technology company in the 1980s and 1990s... They formed a partnership with Stark Industries to work together rather than against each other..."

"And after Stark returned from his captivity in the Middle East and shut down his weapons division, it was Anderson that absorbed it. After Stark revealed to the world that he's Iron Man. Several other countries tried to replicate his suit... None were successful, not even Hammer Industries..."

Yui then brought up a test video leaked from Hammer Industries. It shows one of the test pilots is working out on the Iron Man replica of the suit and the CEO Justin Hammer, is giving commands for the suit's mobility. It was then the upper torso of the suit turn in a 180 degree angle, severing the pilot's spine in the process.

Yui and Strea winced as they heard a yelp of pain coming from within the suit. The clip was cut short.

"I cannot imagine that was pleasant," Yui remarked.

"You've said it, Yui..." Strea agreed.

"At least he survived," Yui shook her head. She mentioned that during the US government's senate hearing regarding Tony Stark's possession of the Iron Man armor and after Stark showed footages of other countries, and Hammer's, failed attempt to copy the suit. Justin Hammer himself pointed it out that the test pilot survived.

"Kind of hilarious though," Shouzou admitted with a smirk.

"The other countries' attempts were..." Yui added. She pulls out two more footages. First one was North Korea. The top of the giant suit was obviously too heavy and toppled over, firing its weapons wildly as it crashed. The second showed Iran. It was already airborne before it plummeted into the ground and crashed in a fireball.

"Are exo suits that difficult to make?"

"Stark managed to perfect the exo suits while being Iron Man, he's both a billionaire and a technological genius..." Shouzou explained.

"Like Anderson..." Strea added.

"And based on the footage of the new Captain America," Yui pointed out, "it also looks like that his own uniform has some exoskeleton elements."

"Before the civil war began..." Shouzou continued. "Anderson managed to reverse-engineer both the Iron Man suit and the Arc Reactor that powered the suit... Probably in response to Stark siding with the Sokovia Accords..."

"I wouldn't be surprised if the new Captain America used elements of the Iron Man suit to be able to carry his weapons."

"We could tell when we first saw him in ALO..." Yui agreed. "It was still an avatar, but it shared many of the same characteristics as his real-life attributes. Same with Colonel America, the new Iron Man and Iron Patriot..."

Kyouko watched as her husband talked with their new granddaughters. It was amazing that how they've learned so much about their world, even though it went through the dark times. The age that was once the 'modern era' has passed when the UN fell caused by the civil unrest in America. And they were about to live through yet another major era in human history.

"...And that's how Anderson became the new Iron Patriot..." Shouzou finished.

"And Stark never knew about it until after the Battle of Frankville." Yui concluded. "And we figured that Stark didn't take it too well that his technology was successfully copied..."

"It was a very messy legal affair in the post-Civil War America," Kyouko noted. She followed economic news very closely, and that included stock market and intellectual property disputes. "Despite the ongoing legal dispute over the intellectual properties. Anderson maintained the Iron Patriot title."

"And Anderson and Stark ultimately settled out of court."

"At least Anderson's able to continue as Iron Patriot..." Strea said. "As well as being able to bypass the update block Hydra put in ALO..."

Yui smiled. She was glad that Captain Anderson was along for the raid on Alfheim. His systems expertise prevented a lot of disasters. Not to mention being able to give her daddy and his friends new weapons and outfits. Yui was also happy that he and the new Iron Man also helped the trapped players escape. Whether in the field, on the computer, or in the courtroom, Anderson seemed to be a master of trades.

"Anderson is something... Right, Yui-nesan?" Strea asked.

"Yeah... but I still think that of all the Americans we've met," Yui chimed, "Captain Chris Burke was the one who did the most to help Mommy and Daddy."

"Very true..." Strea smiled. "After all, he was the one who rushed to Mom's location to help out."

Yui nodded. "And Hydra's leader was captured right in the middle of the whole fight..."

"To think he came very close of kidnapping mom, and he would've succeeded if dad didn't overpower him..." Strea lamented.

Kyouko knew who they meant and refuse to utter the creature's name.

"But he did not, Strea," Yui shook her head, "and Daddy was there to teach him a lesson too!"

Yui smacked her right fist into her left palm. "Mommy and Daddy really teamed up with Captain America to teach that monster a lesson for hurting people, including Auntie Sugu!"

"Auntie Sugu?" Kyouko asked.

"She's daddy's sister... Suguha Kirigaya..." Yui explained.

"She was... the other player who the Supreme Commander," Strea said the title in a sickened tone, "molested."

The horrid memory of their parents and relatives violated by Nobuyuki troubled the AI sisters.

"Oh..." Shouzou grimaced. Kyouko turned her gaze down to the ground.

"That creature..." Guilt continued to wash over the female Yuuki adult. While she had only seen it after the fact, the footage was incredibly disturbing. Kyouko would have to remind herself to do something about that in the court of law for her daughter's sake. As well as for the sake of her future son-in-law, Kazuto...

No doubt Kazuto would agree that such footage should not remain out on the net. Where it would continue to cause negative reactions throughout the world. This also includes the reactions from the Chinese States, who are no doubt using the footage in their propaganda to paint Japan as a "Fascist State" and must rise up against the rise of the "Second Empire of Japan".

Kyouko then spoke up. "Yui, Strea, I understand that the both of you were distressed."

Yui and Strea looked up as Kyouko continued.

"No matter what has happened, that creature will stand trial for his crimes in both America and in Japan... And if need be... I will take the stand myself."

"R-Really?" Yui asked.

"Isn't that where you go into court to testify?" Strea asked.

"That's right..." Kyouko answered. "And since Asuna's been inside Hydra's base, she'll also testify against him in court as well..."

"That makes her a top witness," Yui said, "and since she would know Hydra codes, secrets, and operations... "

"Not to mention getting me, Shouzou, and Sada kidnapped by Hydra..." Kyouko added.

"Wow... it's like everyone has something to say about what Hydra did to them," Strea was awed.

"Indeed, Strea..." Yui agreed. "And forgive me grandma and grandpa... but I certainly hope that he is put to death for what he's done."

There was a short pause before Kyouko spoke up. "We understand..."

Upstairs:

Kazuto was out of the bath in Kouichirou's spare pajamas.

"Hope they fit..." Kouichirou said.

Kazuto smiled as he looked down at his blue outfit. "They fit, thanks for lending me the pajamas, Kouichirou..."

"Kazuto?" Asuna emerged from her bathroom. She work her pink nightgown which nearly resembles the very nightgown she wore back in SAO.

"Hey Asuna," Kazuto smiled.

"Kazuto..." Asuna cooed. She went up and hugged Kazuto.

Kazuto hummed as he hugged Asuna back. He felt her long, smooth hair brushing against his hands. Kouichirou's heart warmed again at the sight.

"You're nice and warm," Asuna remarked.

"Same with you, Asuna..." Kazuto replied. He ran his hand along Asuna's back under her hair. She coos from his gentle touch.

Kouichirou hummed. He thought of their marriage in-game. He figured that they'd probably spend nights together... And since Asuna's been staying with Kazuto's home, it wouldn't be a surprise that they did the same.

'I wonder if mom and dad would be okay?' He thought.

'Wonder about what?' A voice was heard.

'Father?'

'Yes, Kouichirou...' Shouzou replied telepathically. 'What was it that would be okay?'

'Well...' The male Yuuki heir began. 'Since Kazuto and Asuna were married... And she's been with Kazuto for the past couple of nights...'

'I already spoke with Asuna... and your mother," Shouzou revealed.

'And?' Kouichirou waited for the results.

'We've decided to let Kazuto spend the night with Asuna... Given that they've been married and spent nights together in both SAO and at Kazuto's home...'

Now that surprised Kouichirou. 'Really? I figured that they have slept together and since nothing's happened...'

The Yuuki heir thought that nothing did happen, at least he would think nothing happened. He still did not imagine Asuna being so rash to... consummate so soon. But looking at the couple, and how they've endured so much in SAO and afterwards. Plus, he didn't see anything unusual about them when they've talked about their nights together...

Although he doesn't have his father's telepathic powers, Kouichirou looked closely in their eyes when they talked and saw no signs as well... Maybe during their time in SAO... But at Kazuto's home...

'And besides...' Shouzou continued. '... We don't see why we should have them sleep in separate bedrooms... '

'And your mother's all for it as well...' He added.

'But they are not married in the real world,' Kouichirou thought.

'A legal formality at this point,' Shouzou replied. 'However, since I didn't sense any hint of fooling around while she was in Kazuto's care...'

Kouichirou sighed in relief, though Asuna noticed.

"Kouichirou-niisan?"

"Oh... it's nothing," Kouichirou smiled, "I was just thinking how sweet you both are."

"Thanks..." Asuna smiles.

Kazuto smiled as he still held Asuna. "I'm glad you approve."

"And I'm glad that mother and father approve as well..." Asuna sighs happily. "I can't wait for our big day."

"Me neither..." Kazuto agreed.

Kazuto then smirked. "Then we can really have some real fun at night," he whispered teasingly. Asuna giggles as she blushes from their planned night.

"Um... I heard that," Kouichirou said with a blush.

Kazuto was embarrassed when he realized it. Asuna continued to giggle. Kazuto was surprised that Asuna was not embarrassed over his gaffe.

It was then Kouichirou added. "And mom and dad are okay with you and Kazuto sharing the same bed together..."

Asuna nodded cheekily while Kazuto blushed a deep red.

"Tell mom and dad I said thanks.." Asuna said as she hugs Kazuto and gently poked his cheek.

"I will, Asuna..." Kouichirou smiled. "Anyway... You two deserved some rest..."

"Agreed..." Asuna nodded. It was then she yawned cutely. Kazuto hummed with delight before Asuna guided him into her bedroom. Kouichirou then smirked as he decided to get one more teasing jab in. "Make sure you both actually sleep in the bed."

"We will, Kouichirou-niisan." Asuna replied.

"Goodnight, Asuna... Kazuto..." Kouichirou smiled.

"Night..." Asuna replied as she slowly closed the bedroom door. Kouichirou smiled as he headed back to his bedroom.

"Younger than me, and she's already beating me to the marriage part," Kouichirou chuckled.

Inside Asuna's bedroom:

Asuna looks into the mirror as she starts brushing her silky hair. She glances at Kazuto, who sits on the edge of the bed observing her. "Enjoying the show?"

"Indeed, I am..." Kazuto smiled. Asuna hummed as she finished brushing.

Kazuto begins to yawn. "Oh man... What a day..." He laid back on the bed.

"Very true, Kazuto..." Asuna agreed before she climbed into bed and shutting off the light. As the two settled in, they snuggled together.

It was then that Yui and Strea showed on Asuna's phone again.

"Mommy! Daddy!" The AI girls cheered.

Asuna picks up her phone. "Hi Yui, Strea." She smiled. "How were things with your new grandparents?"

"Things went great." Strea chimed. "We talked about how we came to being and what we've learned about your world."

"And they are so knowledgeable," Yui added, "I really wish Strea and I can really be there with you and Daddy."

"You will one day, Yui..." Kazuto reassures them. "One day, and we'll be a big happy family..."

"I can't wait, Daddy," Yui beamed, "you and Mommy sleep well."

"We will..." Asuna smiled. "Good night Yui and Strea..."

"Good night, Mom and Dad," Strea chimed with a wink.

"Good night, Mommy and Daddy." Yui chirped.

"Sleep well, munchkins," Kazuto ended.

The AI girls giggled as they disappear. Asuna sets her phone back down, turns around and embraces Kazuto. "They're so cute..."

"Indeed, they are..." Kazuto agreed. He leaned up and plants a sweet kiss on Asuna's cheek. "And so are you."

"Kazuto..." Asuna replied in a honeyed tone. She leaned in and gave a soft, sweet kiss against Kazuto's lips.

"Thank you for coming home with me... And I'm so happy that everyone's got to know you and your family..." She smiled. "And mother's approval for you is the best..."

"That covers both sides of the family now," Kazuto laughed. He then stared out of the bedroom window as the moonlight came in. There was snow falling outside.

"At least the Howlers outside are well-fed..." Kazuto chuckled. "...I hope they sleep as well as we will."

"I'm sure that they will..." Asuna replied with a smile. "... At least, they'll rotate patrols..." She snuggled up in Kazuto's embrace. "I'm just grateful that I could repay them with a good meal."

"And more people love your cooking other than me and my family..." Kazuto teased. "... And your family as well..."

"Mmmm..." Asuna hummed, "I guess all my cooking hobbies and lessons paid off."

"They sure have..." Kazuto nuzzles into Asuna's neck. "And you know what else is amazing?"

"Hmmm?" Asuna hummed as she listens in.

Kazuto then moved up to whisper in her ear. "The night of our honeymoon back in SAO..."

Asuna blushed heavily. "Kazuto-kun!"

Kazuto chuckled. "Don't worry... We'll wait for our honeymoon in the real world..."

Asuna pouted playfully before bopping Kazuto on the nose. "You better..."

"Hehe... Don't worry, I'll make it magical for us..." Kazuto kissed Asuna's hand.

Asuna then smiled warmly. "Good night my black knight."

"Good night, my Lightning Flash..." Kazuto cooed. Asuna yawned cutely before nuzzling against his chest. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep in his embrace. Kazuto gently stroked Asuna's long silky hair before he felt drowsiness take over as he yawned.

Soon enough, Kazuto dozes off, the room fell silent.

Downstairs:

Shouzou smiled as he sensed the presence of their daughter and her husband are finally asleep. He and Kyouko were staying up a little late to contact some of their stockholders to reassure them of their being alive, as well as lawyers still available to secure RECT's assets and to handle the steady streams of lawsuits coming in from ALO survivors and families.

So far, everything seems steady. However, they continue to prepare RECT for the oncoming storm. By far the biggest challenge would be surviving the whole legal episode surrounding former RECT Progress chief Nobuyuki.

It was gonna get hectic from here on...

He looked to his wife. She was looking exhausted, as if the whole thing is taking a toll on her.

'So much for having normal lives,' she thought.

'Very true...' Shouzou replied his thought to her. 'Sometimes I wonder if it was a fool's errand.'

'It could be... I asked myself that now...' Kyouko rubbed her eyes tiredly. It was just a few more calls to make, and yet, the female Yuuki adult started to feel fatigued again.

It was then that she remembered that she was still trying to live as a human... it was difficult, but it felt like that if she kept this up, she would deflate before long. Kyouko took a deep breath, meditating as she did in her secret glory days... Then, she found herself at peace. Something that she hadn't felt in a long time. She even tapped into her dormant energy reserves, first time since the kidnapping.

Within seconds, she felt her fatigue dissolve like melted snow.

Shouzou noticed the sheen Kyouko emitted. He felt her mind becoming at ease. Furthermore, he felt her physical state start to improve as the skin on her face smoothed out and color returned. Even the bags under her eyes have disappeared. Kyouko's body just glowed softly as she relaxed.

"Kyouko..." Shouzou sighed happily.

"After what just happened," Kyouko admitted, "I feel the need to embrace an old part of myself again." Kyouko resumes her meditation, her body continued to glow softly. Then her eyes begin to glow in a soft white glow as well...

Her body healed as she let her power out. A soft sigh escaped from Kyouko's lips as she exhaled.

"You still got it," Shouzou remarked.

"That I do, Shouzou..." Kyouko let out a small smile. "I haven't done this in years. I feel like I'm in my youth again..."

Shouzou smiled at her. The young and bold Kyouko he knew has return.

"Much better," Kyouko breathed as she continued to finish her work, "now I feel like I can go on longer."

"We got a few more calls to make..." She concluded while looking through the desktop computer. She then decided to make a call to America. Kyouko waited for a bit, before she got, "hello, this the White House in Washington D.C. How may I direct your call?"

Mitchell Residence:

Everyone had fun around the firepit until the fire begins to die down. Everyone decides to head on inside. Suguha just clung to Alex like he was her body pillow. Sighing and cooing from the warmth emitting from her boyfriend.

Midori chuckled. "Suguha, don't forget that he has to walk."

"I know, mom..." Suguha giggles. "But he's so warm and toasty, I don't want to let go of him..."

Jonathan chuckled as Alex had a pink tinge to his cheeks. David and Marie also found the scene adorable.

"Sugu, I appreciate the sentiment, but yeah, please let me walk," Alex joked.

"Mmmmmm... Okay..." Suguha agreed. "But... When we head back inside, I'm cuddling with you all night..."

Alex's family laughed at that.

"Talk about clingy..." Jon teased. "Saves you the trouble of having to chase her."

"Jon..." Alex was blushing. The older Mitchell heir laughed.

"I admit to it," Sugu giggled. She then plants a kiss on Alex's cheek before letting go and guided him inside by the hand.

"Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ready to start turning in," Midori said, "been a crazy day seeing my son and daughter-in-law fighting."

"That is true..." Marie agreed. She, David and Jon headed on inside after the fire completely died out. "We have the guest bedroom for you, Midori."

"Thank you so much, Marie-san..." Midori thanked her.

"It's no problem..." Marie smiled.

"I'll be with my Alex-kun here," Suguha cooed as she held Alex, "and I promise we will be good."

"They've been good when Alex spend the nights over..." Midori explained.

"I would expect no less," David smiled, "he's too good a son."

"Known her a few days and he's a gentleman..." Jon observed.

"He sure is, Jon..." Suguha replied before hugging Alex again. As the families went to their separate rooms, Alex and Suguha took turns getting changed in the bathroom. Alex offers Suguha a spare set of pajamas to her.

"It's not much, but better than nothing..." Alex said.

"Thank you anyways, Alex," Suguha smiled as she went in first. Alex was glad that the evening turned out perfect, especially after witnessing both Kazuto and Asuna battling Hydra. He was impressed by the duo's head-on fight.

"You know... you two may actually be my new favorite superheroes," Alex laughed to himself.

Several minutes later, Suguha comes out of the bathroom in the borrowed pajamas. "That was a good shower..."

"Hope you didn't use up all the hot water..." Alex teased. Suguha playfully slapped Alex's shoulder. Causing him to chuckle before entering the bathroom.

Minutes later, he also emerged, washed up and ready for bed. He sighed after he stepped out of the steaming bathroom. He enters his bedroom where Suguha's sitting on the side of the bed waiting for him.

Alex sat down next to her. "What a day, isn't it, Sugu?" He asked.

Suguha sighed as exhaustion took over. "Hard to believe all that happened in one day..." She said. "First my dad gets his first arrest in years... Then he gets involved in the evacuation from the district surrounding the Yokota Air Base..."

Suguha then sat back as she continued, "and then Kazuto and Asuna had to worry us to death with rushing over to the base and getting into it with Hydra alongside Captain America."

"I know how you felt, Sugu..." Alex replied. "They were like that during SAO... Rushing into quests and battles against floor bosses..." Alex reminisence about his previous battles alongside Kazuto and Asuna. "The bosses later on became tougher on each floor up to the 75th... Whenever we go in to clear the floors, I thought for sure it would be our last time..."

"Even being a part of the top clearing guild in the game was no guarantee of our survival." He added. "The Knights of Blood, the guild Asuna's was in. and so was your brother."

"What role did she take while in this guild?" Sugu asked.

"Sub-Commander... Just second to Heathcliff." Alex shook his head. "None of us at the time realized that Heathcliff was a account name for Kayaba..."

Suguha gasped with widened eyes. "You... actually saw him?"

"We all did..." Alex nodded. "It was a shock to be honest. None of us knew that Kayaba would be in SAO with us..." He paused for a moment. "Well... Almost none of us..."

"Kazuto figured him out. And when he exposed the truth, Kayaba made a deal that if he can defeat him, he'll release everyone without going all the way to the 100th floor..."

Now that really surprised Suguha. She would have thought Kayaba to be more callous than that! But to be in the very death game with the NerveGear he himself had created...

"What happened?" She then asked.

"It was a tense fight, and for a moment, I thought Kayaba was going to win..." Alex continued. "But Kazuto managed to beat him..." He paused for a moment. "... while Asuna sacrificed herself to give him the window."

Suguha did a double-take upon hearing this. "She did?" She gasped.

Alex nodded.

"B-but she is alive!" Suguha said.

"I know... It doesn't make any sense..." Alex shook his head. "But shook us up good, that's for sure."

"...After we were released from SAO, I've met your brother in the very hospital I was at..." He continued. "And when Kikuoka showed up and have us debrief on what had happened, he revealed the location of Asuna's hospital after notifying us that she's alive..."

"Alive... but not awake," Suguha guessed.

"Correct..." Alex nodded. "Which lead to the whole ALO incident..."

Suguha snuggled up to Alex. "Mmmmmmm... Just glad that it's all over..."

Alex agreed. They both climbed into the bed and pulled the bed sheets over them. Alex shuts off the light. The moonlight shined through the bedroom window, giving it a soft glow. Suguha clinging onto Alex like a body pillow.

"I love you, Alex."

"I love you too, Suguha.."

Without another word, they both leaned in and shared a sweet, tender kiss. The two fell into a peaceful, warm sleep. Clinging onto each other tenderly.
