Alright, without any further ado, let's dive into the new chapter!

Faster and Scarier

Naruto was sprinting through the dense forest that marked the edge of the Lightning Country, her KCM-I form glowing like a golden comet in the fading light. The speed she was moving at was beyond anything she had ever felt before, faster than Gai-sensei in his Fourth Gate, faster than any of her previous limits. Trees whipped by her like blurs, branches snapping under her feet as she launched herself forward. Her red hair—long and untamed, unbraided since she hadn't exactly mastered how to deal with it—flowed behind her like a wild flag in the wind.

The sensation of the chakra coursing through her, raw and intense, was something almost alien. It felt like she could tear through the fabric of reality itself. But there was no time to bask in the power.

Her senses screamed a warning. A second later, she barely dodged a lightning-infused, muscled black hand aimed squarely for her jaw. She twisted her body, flipping backward mid-air, skidding across the ground like a stone skipping on water. The air sizzled where the blow had passed, crackling with the remnants of Raikage's electric chakra.

"So, you're the chaotic brat that's been causing all this trouble," came a gravelly voice.

Naruto landed in a crouch, her eyes narrowing as they met the towering figure in front of her. The man was built like a mountain, his muscles rippling, and his hair cut in a severe style that only made his scowl deeper. Lightning chakra crackled around him in violent arcs. This was Ay, the Raikage—one of the strongest shinobi alive, and clearly not in the mood for negotiations.

"Raikage!" a familiar voice shouted from behind the hulking man. "We agreed you wouldn't attack her like this!"

Naruto's eyes widened. "Granny Tsunade?!"

Sure enough, standing beside the Raikage, arms crossed and wearing a mixture of irritation and concern on her face, was none other than the Fifth Hokage herself. Naruto hadn't expected to see her here, of all places.

Tsunade's sharp gaze flickered between Raikage and Naruto before her eyes widened in shock. "Kushina?!"

Naruto blinked, a sheepish smile creeping onto her face as she scratched the back of her head. "Uh, no, Granny... It's me. Naruto Uzumaki, dattebane."

Tsunade stared at her, completely bewildered. "Naruto…? You look… younger… a lot younger and… like your mother.."

Naruto's face scrunched up as she rubbed her temples, feeling the headache of the situation grow. "Yeah, I know! It's a long story, but seriously, there's no time for it right now!"

Tsunade let out a long, exasperated sigh, muttering under her breath. "Of course there's no time... You always pick the worst possible moments for whatever this is."

"If you're done with your cringey little reunion," Raikage growled, clearly unamused, "then maybe we can get back to the matter at hand."

Naruto's gaze snapped back to the Raikage. "Oi! Old Man Raikage!" she yelled. "Why the hell did you try to punch me?!"

"You, Naruto Uzumaki, are under the custody of the Hidden Cloud. You're technically a prisoner for escaping confinement on Turtle Island," the Raikage boomed, his voice echoing through the trees like thunder.

Naruto flinched. "Wait, what?! A prisoner?! That's what I was to you?"

"Indeed," Raikage said, without a hint of hesitation. "Madara intends to place the entire world under his genjutsu. He needs the chakra of all the tailed beasts to accomplish this. He already has seven. Only you and Bee remain uncaptured. I cannot let you leave and put the world in jeopardy."

Naruto took a deep breath, trying to keep calm. "So, you're planning to lock me up and wait for him to come and get me?"

Raikage's jaw tightened. "I will protect this country, and that means keeping you here."

Naruto's eyes suddenly shifted into the sharp, vertical slits of Sage Mode. The change was so fast that both Raikage and Tsunade froze. "You really think you can protect 308,903 people in this country when Madara comes for me?" she asked, her voice now calm, but the weight of her words hitting hard. "I just counted every living person in the Lightning Country, and I can tell you right now, you've got genin guarding your borders."

Raikage flinched, his fists tightening, the lightning around him crackling dangerously. He didn't like being questioned, but he couldn't refute her words.

Tsunade, sensing the tension, stepped forward, her voice soft but firm. "Naruto… why do you want to join the war so badly?"

Naruto's face hardened, her voice dropping into a low, determined tone. "Because, in this shinobi world, those who abandon their missions are trash. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash!"

There was a heavy silence. The weight of Naruto's words hung in the air, leaving both Kage speechless for a moment.

Tsunade was the first to speak, turning her gaze to Ay. "Well, I'm not forcing her to stay behind. And if you are, Raikage, then you'll have to go through me."

The Raikage clenched his jaw, his eyes narrowing. "Fine," he growled, his body sparking with lightning. "Then I'll take her myself."

With a sudden burst of speed, Ay shot forward, his body a bolt of lightning aiming directly for Naruto. But before anyone could react, Naruto vanished in a brilliant flash of gold and red, reappearing directly behind him. With a small, precise movement, she flipped the massive Raikage onto the ground, her speed and strength catching him completely off guard.

Ay gasped in shock as he hit the dirt.

Tsunade's eyes widened in disbelief. 'Just like Minato…'

Naruto stood over the downed Raikage, her expression serious but calm. "Too many people have put their trust in me. I can't let them down now."

Raikage sat up slowly, raising one hand to stop any further attacks. "Fine," he said, surprising everyone with his concession. "I won't stop you. But know this, if anything happens, it won't be my responsibility."

Naruto flashed a wide, foxy grin, her blue eyes glinting mischievously. "Don't worry, Old Man. I've got this."

Tsunade crossed her arms, smirking. "Good luck out there, Naruto."

With a final nod, Naruto disappeared once again in a flash of gold and red, leaving only the sound of wind in her wake.

Raikage stood, brushing the dust off his clothes, watching the spot where she'd vanished. "That look…"

Tsunade glanced at him. "What?"

"It reminded me of him," Raikage muttered, his voice deep and almost nostalgic. "Back in the Third Great Shinobi War."

Tsunade chuckled softly. "Yeah... Just like the Yellow Flash."

Raikage shook his head. "No… more than that."

Û~Û

The battlefield was a swirling nightmare of chaos. The sky hung heavy with dark, suffocating clouds, casting everything in a dim, sickly light. Everywhere, the earth was torn apart, craters and scorched trees littering the ground, marking where fierce battles had been fought and lost. The air reeked of sweat, blood, and the eerie, unnatural scent of the White Zetsu horde as they pressed in from all sides. Their pale, grotesque faces were twisted in hollow grins, almost mocking the living as they surged forward relentlessly, arms stretching and morphing into weapons. It was like being trapped in a grotesque, never-ending nightmare.

Hinata and Shino were in the thick of it, their bodies slick with sweat, their breathing labored. They'd been fighting for what felt like hours, but the Zetsu kept coming, endless and undeterred. Hinata's Byakugan pulsed with every heartbeat, veins tightening around her eyes as she tried to keep track of the clones. But there were too many. Far too many. For every Zetsu they took down, another two replaced them, crawling up from the earth like some twisted mockery of life.

"Shino!" Hinata gasped, narrowly dodging a swipe from one of the clones. Her voice was tight, panicked. "There's too many of them!"

Shino, ever calm in the face of madness, sent out a swarm of his insects, hoping to at least hold back the wave. But even he looked troubled. His glasses glinted in the dull light as he watched the Zetsu clones move. "My bugs... They can't detect the difference between them and our comrades," he said, his voice unnervingly calm for the horror they were in. "Their chakra signatures... It's like they've copied us perfectly."

Kiba, not far off, was struggling with Akamaru, trying to fend off another wave. His brow furrowed in frustration. "Yeah! Even Akamaru and I can't tell who's real or not. It's freakin' nuts! They smell exactly like us."

Hinata bit her lip, her heart sinking. It was overwhelming. The clones were like ghosts, moving in and out of the shadows, always just a step ahead, just a little too fast. She clenched her fists. If only Naruto-kun were here. He would know what to do. His Sage Mode would've been perfect in this situation, sensing the real from the fake. But he wasn't here. He wasn't—

"Hinata! Look out—!" Kiba's shout came out of nowhere, but it was too late.

One of the Zetsu lunged at her, its arm twisted into a jagged, spear-like shape, slicing through the air with terrifying speed. Hinata's heart froze. There was no time to dodge. She braced herself for the impact, her Byakugan flashing in the last split second—

"Rasengan!"

A roar of chakra exploded from nowhere, and suddenly, a blur of golden and red light shot past her, slamming into the Zetsu with bone-shattering force. The clone disintegrated in a blast of white goo, the Rasengan tearing it apart before it could reach her.

Hinata blinked in shock, her breath caught in her throat. Who—?

"Woah!" Kiba's voice broke through her daze, his eyes wide with disbelief as he looked around. "Who the hell just saved your ass?"

Hinata turned slowly, her heart still hammering in her chest, to see the figure that had come to her rescue. And what she saw left her speechless.

It was a girl. A little girl, no more than twelve years old, her hair a fiery shade of red that glowed in the dull light of the battlefield. But that wasn't what was strange. No, it was the golden chakra that enveloped her, flickering and swirling around her small frame like a living flame. The air crackled with energy, and her eyes—there was something in her eyes, something fierce and familiar.

Kiba, never one to keep his mouth shut, pointed a finger at the girl, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Oi, Chibi!" he shouted, not even bothering to lower his voice. "Who the hell are you? And what's with all the light show, huh?"

The girl turned slowly, her golden chakra still flickering dangerously around her, and fixed him with a glare so fierce that even Kiba flinched. Her face twisted in anger, and before anyone could stop her, she darted forward in a flash of yellow and red, her hand already flying towards his head.

WHACK!

The sound of the smack echoed across the battlefield. Kiba's head snapped to the side, and he staggered back, clutching his skull with a look of utter disbelief. "OW! That freakin' hurt, you little—"

The girl crossed her arms, her eyes flashing. "Call me a chibi again and I'll make you regret it, 'ttebane!"

Kiba looked like he was about to say something stupid again, but the girl's glare silenced him. He muttered something under his breath about "crazy little brats" but wisely decided to keep his distance.

"Brat?!" the girl repeated, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "No 'brat' either, dattebane!"

Shino, ever the calm observer, adjusted his glasses and studied the girl with a cool, analytical gaze. "Who... are you?" he asked quietly, his voice cutting through the tension.

The girl hesitated, her eyes darting between them nervously. For a moment, she looked like a deer caught in the headlights, uncertain, maybe even afraid. But then she seemed to remember where she was, and her expression hardened again. "There's no time for that!" she shouted, her small frame brimming with urgency. "More of those white freaks are coming! Let's kick some butt, dattebane!"

Kiba, still rubbing the side of his head, glared at her. "I don't take orders from a pipsqueak," he grumbled, but he didn't sound quite as confident as before. That smack had really gotten to him.

Shino remained calm, his insects buzzing quietly around him. "I don't know why," he said softly, his tone thoughtful, "but I feel like we should trust her."

"This is Inoichi Yamanaka from the HQ," suddenly, a voice boomed inside their minds. "The redhead preteen girl with the golden chakra cloak is with us and can be trusted. She can detect the fake among you. I repeat, she can detect the fake among you."

Hinata, still staring at the strange girl, felt something tug at her memory. There was something about her, something familiar. The way she moved, the chakra swirling around her, even the way she spoke... it reminded her of...

Her heart skipped a beat. She knew who this was, but it was impossible, wasn't it?

The girl turned back towards the battlefield, her golden chakra flaring up like a bonfire as more Zetsu clones appeared in the distance. She clenched her fists, ready to charge again.

Wait... Didn't she just use a Rasengan?

Hinata's mind raced as she tried to make sense of it all. Could it be...? Could this girl really be... Naruto-kun?

She opened her mouth to speak, to ask, but before the words could leave her lips, Shino gently placed a hand on her shoulder. He shook his head slightly, his expression unreadable behind his dark glasses. "Perhaps there's a reason why they aren't saying it," he said quietly.

Hinata swallowed hard, her thoughts still spinning, but she nodded. Shino was right. Now wasn't the time for questions. The battlefield was still swarming with enemies, and they couldn't afford to lose focus now.

Together, they turned back to face the oncoming horde, their hearts steeling for the next wave. The girl—whoever she was—stood with them, her golden chakra flaring as she charged forward, ready to fight.

And though Hinata's mind was filled with questions, there was one thing she knew for certain: whoever this girl was, she was strong.

Û~Û

Temari stood at the edge of a battlefield that was more like a graveyard. The landscape had been turned into a hellish wasteland—craters, scorched earth, the lifeless bodies of fallen shinobi littering the ground. The sounds of desperate shouts, clashing steel, and the unnatural crackle of Black Lightning echoed through the air, adding to the overwhelming sense of chaos. Her battalion, once strong and confident, was now scattered and struggling to survive. In the heart of the storm stood the reanimated Third Raikage, a monstrous force who seemed to defy the laws of nature itself. His towering, muscular frame, crackling with Black Lightning, tore through the Alliance like they were paper.

Temari's brow was soaked with sweat as she panted heavily, clutching her oversized fan. She had never faced anything like this. No matter how many times they attacked, the Raikage shrugged it off, his body seemingly impervious to even the most powerful Wind Style techniques. Even with Ao's keen insight guiding them, it wasn't enough.

"He's too strong!" Temari spat, frustration boiling in her chest. Her fan whirred through the air as she unleashed yet another Wind Scythe, but it barely scratched the Raikage's reinforced body. It was like trying to slice through a mountain with a dull knife. "We can't even get close enough to slow him down!"

"Focus!" Ao barked, his voice strained but determined. "Only Wind Jutsu can penetrate his defense! Keep at it!"

"What do you think we've been doing?" Temari shouted back. "I've thrown everything I have at him! There's no one in the Shinobi Alliance who can use Wind Style better than me, and it's still not enough!"

Before Ao could respond, a voice—calm, authoritative—boomed inside their minds. "This is Inoichi Yamanaka from HQ. The redhead preteen girl with the golden chakra cloak is with us and can be trusted. She can detect the fakes among you. I repeat, she can detect the fakes among you."

Temari blinked in confusion. What? A preteen girl with a chakra cloak? Detecting fakes? They didn't have time for vague messages or reinforcements that wouldn't arrive in time. The Third Raikage was right in front of them, unstoppable and relentless. Her heart pounded in her chest as she gripped her fan tighter. If they didn't come up with something fast, they were all dead.

A deep rumble filled the air as the Raikage swept through another group of shinobi, his hand crackling with dark energy. One by one, they fell to the ground, lifeless. Temari's heart sank. They were running out of options—and out of time.

The Raikage raised his hand, preparing another devastating attack when a flash of blinding yellow and red suddenly cut through the carnage like a lightning bolt.

Temari's breath caught in her throat as a figure appeared before them—small, almost childlike, yet radiating with a power that sent shivers down her spine. It was a girl, no more than a preteen, her hair a fiery shade of red that flickered in the wind like embers. But it was the chakra surrounding her that stole the breath from Temari's lungs. A golden aura, crackling with raw energy, enveloped the girl's small frame like living fire. It wasn't just the color—it was the sheer force of it. It pressed down on them, thick and suffocating, filling the air with an electric charge.

"Really?" the girl said, her voice sharp and confident, cutting through the chaos like a knife. "Because that would be me!"

Temari's eyes widened in disbelief. Who was this girl? There was no way—no way someone that small could wield such power. But before she could question further, the girl raised her hand, and above her, chakra began to gather with terrifying speed.

A swirling, shuriken-like mass of energy spun above the girl's head and in her palm, a noisy vortex of raw power. It whirled faster and faster, the wind shrieking as it grew in size, glowing brighter with each rotation. The chakra spun so violently that it looked like it could tear through the fabric of reality itself. Temari watched, slack-jawed, unable to tear her eyes away. It was enormous—far larger than anything she had ever seen Naruto conjure.

In a blink, the girl vanished, disappearing in a blur of red and gold. Time seemed to slow as Temari watched, her heart hammering in her chest. There was only a heartbeat of silence before the girl reappeared in front of the Raikage, her eyes blazing with determination.

"Massive Rasenshuriken!" she roared, her voice echoing across the battlefield.

The shuriken of chakra exploded from her hand, spinning violently as it collided with the Raikage, sending him flying through the air like a ragdoll. He shot across the battlefield, hundreds of meters away, before the Rasenshuriken detonated in a massive vortex of light and wind. The very ground trembled as the blast expanded, slicing through everything in its path. The wind howled like a banshee, cutting through trees, rocks, and even the air itself. And the Raikage—the Raikage—was caught in the center of it all, his body torn to pieces by the violent wind, disintegrating into nothingness.

Temari's mouth went dry. She had never seen such destruction, such raw, terrifying power. It was beyond anything she could have imagined. The chakra required to conjure something like that… astronomical. And the girl had done it in a matter of seconds.

She glanced at her comrades, and they were as stunned as she was. Slack-jawed, eyes wide, completely dumbstruck by what they had just witnessed.

"Come on!" the girl's voice snapped them out of their trance. "Come on! Seal 'im, 'ttebane!"

Temari blinked, her mind struggling to catch up. The girl stood there, her golden aura still flickering around her, impatiently gesturing towards the Raikage's remains. "Seal 'im! He's already regenerating!"

Temari shook her head, snapping out of her daze. "R-right!" she barked at her subordinates. "Get the Sealing Team over there now!"

The sealing team, still wide-eyed, rushed forward in a flurry of movements, gathering what little was left of their wits as they prepared to seal the Raikage. But as they hurried forward, Temari couldn't shake the feeling that she had just witnessed something otherworldly—something far beyond what she thought possible.

And all from a girl who couldn't have been more than thirteen.

Before they could even finish preparing the sealing scroll, the Raikage's body jerked, like a beast rising from the grave. His eyes snapped open, burning with the intensity of a storm. The air seemed to crackle, then explode as the Third Raikage shot up, his body surging with Black Lightning. With a single violent movement, he sent the entire sealing team flying backwards, their bodies hitting the ground hard, groaning in pain. They were down for the count, scattered like leaves in a whirlwind.

Temari's heart sank as she and the remaining shinobi took cautious steps back. The Raikage was fully regenerated, his body now enveloped in that terrifying lightning cloak. It was like watching a god of thunder step out from a myth. His presence alone was enough to make even the most battle-hardened warriors hesitate. The guy was unstoppable, a force of nature wrapped in muscle and crackling energy. Not even that girl's ridiculous Rasenshuriken had done more than annoy him.

The redheaded girl, who Temari was beginning to realize looked disturbingly familiar in a certain light, stood there, arms crossed, muttering under her breath. "Damn it," she cursed softly, looking more irritated than worried. "Stupid lightning dude. Not even a scratch…"

Temari squinted. Was this girl actually pouting? She just launched an attack that could level mountains, and she was whining like someone had stolen her favorite snack.

Then, the girl's eyes lit up with a sudden idea. Without warning, she clasped her hands together in a flurry of motion, her chakra spiking once more. "Fine, if smashing you doesn't work, let's just pin you down like a bug."

The wind seemed to still for a moment as the girl drew a long breath. Then her voice rang out loud and clear, echoing across the battlefield.

"Sealing Art: Gravity Amplification, Seal!"

In an instant, the air around the Raikage seemed to warp, the ground beneath him trembling as if the very earth itself had been pulled into a vortex. A loud, crunching sound echoed as the Raikage's towering figure froze mid-step. His muscles locked up, rigid and unyielding as though he had been encased in invisible chains.

His body slammed into the ground with a heavy thud, so forceful that the dirt cracked beneath him. Dust exploded into the air as he lay there, completely stiff. It was as if gravity itself had been dialed up to a hundred around him.

For a moment, there was nothing but stunned silence. The shinobi, still reeling from the Raikage's earlier rampage, stood slack-jawed, blinking in disbelief. The indestructible Third Raikage, a legend among shinobi, had been flattened like a bug on a windshield.

"Is… is he really down?" one of the soldiers murmured, his voice trembling with disbelief.

"Did… did that actually work?" another whispered.

Even Temari couldn't hide her astonishment. She had faced gods and monsters in this war, but she had never seen something like this. The amount of chakra required to pull off a sealing technique that could pin the Raikage? It was beyond comprehension. She couldn't help but feel a bit small, seeing how easily the girl had conjured it. Her Wind Style was nothing compared to this.

On the ground, the Raikage managed to speak, his voice gruff but impressed. "Impressive," he muttered, his eyes flicking towards the girl. "I assume you're from the Uzumaki Clan?"

The girl's eyes went wide in shock. She looked horrified for a second, but didn't deny it. Her mouth opened, closed, then opened again like a fish out of water. She finally muttered, "Uh… yeah."

"Wait, Uzumaki?" came a loud shriek from a group of shinobi nearby. "Like the hero Naruto Uzumaki?! The one who defeated Pain of the Akatsuki?!"

"Oh great," Temari growled, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Shut up and focus."

The Raikage, now pinned to the ground and completely immobile, gave a slow nod. "You are an excellent shinobi. A Jinchuriki, too. I can sense the Nine-Tails within you." His eyes narrowed in amusement. "You fight well."

Temari's eyes shot wide open. Jinchuriki? Uzumaki? She whipped her head toward the girl, staring at her with newfound suspicion. Could it be—?

The sealing team, now fully recovered from their earlier flight, rushed forward to complete their work, scribbling frantically across scrolls and chanting their sealing jutsu. Slowly, the Raikage's body began to fade, his chakra being absorbed into the sealing scroll.

Temari approached the girl cautiously, watching her closely. "Thanks for the help… Naruto Uzumaki."

The girl's face froze. Her eyes widened like a deer caught in headlights. She slumped forward, exhaling heavily as if the weight of the world had just dropped on her. "Yeah, you got me," she sighed, her voice defeated.

The surrounding shinobi broke into hushed whispers, the shock spreading like wildfire. "Wait… Naruto's a girl?" someone whispered loudly. "I thought Naruto Uzumaki was a teenage boy! Wasn't he the one who saved the village from Pain?"

"Commander Kazekage always called him 'he' during the speech," another murmured, wide-eyed.

Temari raised an eyebrow. She wasn't sure what she was expecting, but the crowd's confusion was… hilarious. They had heard so many tales of Naruto's heroics, of the loudmouth knucklehead who had defied gods and monsters. And now they were confronted with this—this petite, redheaded child who was far more powerful than anyone had ever imagined.

"Man, you really are Shikamaru's girlfriend, huh?" Naruto said suddenly, her tone light. "Smart like him."

Temari's face flushed with a sudden rush of blood. "He isn't my boyfriend!" she snapped, her voice rising several octaves higher than she intended.

Naruto just blinked at her, looking confused. "So you aren't dating? But most of the time I saw you, you were with him."

Temari opened her mouth, then closed it. Blinked. Opened her mouth again. Those shinobi behind her probably were going to make fun of her now. Damn it, Uzumaki was too dense for her own good sometimes. There was no point arguing with that level of stupid.

But the confusion quickly turned into a more pressing question. She narrowed her eyes. "Wait a second. Why are you a little girl? Is this some kind of weird henge jutsu?"

Naruto scratched her head awkwardly, her expression sheepish. "Nah… kinda stuck like this. I don't dislike this form, but the hair is too long yet I don't want to cut it and… the stuff between… is kinda' uncomfortable. No big chest to deal with, thankfully!"

Temari crossed her arms, skeptical. "There's a well in the Tea Country that might help," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "It can supposedly reverse strange, abnormal conditions. It's deep in the Flower Forest though, and that place is crawling with monsters. It would take days to get there, and with the war going on, there's no time for—"

"Really?! Thanks!"

Naruto was already gone in a blur of red and yellow chakra, vanishing from the battlefield as quickly as she had arrived.

Temari sighed deeply, rubbing her temples. "Right, she's fast."

Turning back to the bewildered shinobi around her, she barked orders, her voice sharp. "Come on now! Take the wounded and seal the dead! Don't slack off!"

The soldiers snapped back into action, though the confusion and awe from Naruto's sudden departure still lingered in their eyes. Temari allowed herself a small grin. This war was insane—no, beyond insane. But somehow, Naruto made it just a little bit more bearable.

"Oh shit, I forgot to mention that the well—"

Author's Note:

That was an absolute blast to write! So, just to clarify—unlike the original story, the one hanging out with Temari was the real Naruto, while the one with Team 8? Just a clone.

Now, Naruto's heading off on a quick mission to reverse the transformation. Do you think she's going to pull it off smoothly? Or will things spiral out of control even more? I'm curious to know what you all think, so don't forget to drop your thoughts in the review section!

Hope you had fun with this chapter, folks! Buckle up, because things are about to get wild. Stay tuned for the next one!

Till next time!
