Monsters Everywhere
Naruto and Killer Bee appeared just in time to witness the chaos of the battlefield. In the middle of it all, Gai-sensei and Kakashi-sensei were locked in a fierce skirmish with the masked man, who looked like he'd just stepped out of a "Villain Fashion Weekly" cover—one eye glowing with the Rinnegan, the other an ominous Mangekyo Sharingan, with a half-smirk that screamed "I'm the boss around here." And of course, behind him, were seven Jinchuriki, all reanimated and mind-controlled like some kind of ninja zombie squad.
Naruto barely paused before launching herself forward and headbutting the masked man with everything she had.
"Take that, you Madara Wannabe, dattebane!" she hollered.
The masked man went flying, flipping through the air like a ragdoll, until he finally crashed face-first into a nice, sturdy rock. A good rock, Naruto thought, a rock that did the world a favour by slamming him right back to reality.
Killer Bee threw his head back and laughed, already rapping mid-fight, his swords spinning in every direction like a one-man blender. "Nice goin', Foxy Girl! You make my toes curl, yo!"
Bee broke into another one of his verses, which Naruto would've enjoyed if she weren't busy with the glaring problem in front of her. But her hit had caught everyone's attention, including Gai and Kakashi, who froze mid-attack, staring at her with eyes wide enough to see tomorrow.
Kakashi was the first to speak, though it came out more like a stammer. "K-Kushina… Kushina…?"
And then, of course, there was Gai.
"YOSH! The Fourth Hokage's wife has been reanimated too?! How vile!" Gai looked as though he might weep at the injustice of it, his hands clenched into righteous fists.
Naruto clenched her own fists, muttering, "For the love of ramen…"
Gai, entirely missing the growing vein pulsing in her forehead, continued, "It's truly noble, Lady Kushina! Your love for your son has not faltered even in death! You are a true mother—"
'SMACK!'
Naruto's palm smacked into Gai's head so hard he nearly tumbled forward. "Would you shut up already?!"
Gai rubbed his head, looking bewildered but still thrilled. His eyes sparkled with a righteous tear or two as he choked out, "YOSH! Even in death, you are as fierce as ever, Lady—"
Smack!
"Call me that one more time, I dare you!" Naruto barked.
Kakashi, now wiping a tear from his eye in some weird combination of pride and confusion, shook his head slowly. "I see you haven't changed a bit, Kushina-sen—"
Whack!
Naruto's hand whipped out, cutting him off with a swift slap to the back of his head. "For the last time, CALL ME NARUTO UZUMAKI, DATTEBANE!"
Kakashi, now rubbing his head and looking as lost as a puppy in a thunderstorm, just blinked. "Huh? But… but your son is—"
From the rock crater, the masked man finally stood up, brushing the dirt off his cloak with a menacingly calm demeanor. "So… that boy reanimated you too. Fascinating." His eyes gleamed with a deadly intent as he straightened. "Fine. You'll witness my plan firsthand… when I extract the Nine-Tails from your son."
Naruto's jaw dropped, and her eyes filled with the most heartfelt despair, as if the whole universe had finally broken her spirit. She sank to her knees, her head hanging low, a single tear glistening under the sun.
"Why… why does everyone keep calling me dead?... Why does everyone keep calling me a mother… a wife…?"
Everyone—Kakashi, Gai, the masked man, even Killer Bee, who'd paused mid-rap—stared in utter silence, too confused to even blink.
Gai scratched his head, tilting it to the side as if it might help him understand the situation. Kakashi looked at Naruto with the same bewilderment as if he'd just seen a frog tap-dance, while the masked man stood rigid, his hands frozen mid-seal.
Naruto took a deep, exasperated breath, slowly lifting her head. With a sudden, powerful surge, her chakra exploded outward in a hurricane-like burst, whipping around her like a living flame. The masked man actually stumbled back a step, his eye wide with shock.
"Listen well, you morons!" she shouted, her voice echoing across the field. "I am NOT a mother, or a wife (ew), or dead! I am NARUTO UZUMAKI! That's N-A-R-U-T-O U-Z-U-M-A-K-I, dattebane!"
Everyone just blinked. Huh?
"Yes! You heard me right!" she continued, glaring at them with all the righteous fury she could muster. "I was, very unfortunately, turned into my mother when she was a kid! Got it?!"
Gai tilted his head even further, squinting as he tried to piece this together. "So… you're Kushina Uzumaki… turned into Naruto?"
Naruto sighed so hard it could have blown down a house. "Oh, come on… how hard is this…"
The masked man looked genuinely baffled, glancing back at her with a look that said, "Seriously?" He cleared his throat, scratching the back of his head as if hoping it might somehow make her words more coherent. "So… you're actually Naruto Uzumaki?"
Naruto's shoulders dropped in relief, eyes rolling with sarcastic gratitude. "YES! Thank you! Finally, someone with a working brain!"
Kakashi, still looking utterly out of his depth, scratched his head. "Hold on, then… you must be the 'preteen redhead girl' Inoichi Yamanaka mentioned in his intel." He gestured to her body in confusion. "But… uh… you don't look like a preteen."
Naruto's face flushed, the tips of her ears burning. She folded her arms, muttering under her breath. "Yeah, well… you can thank Shikamaru's girlfriend for that…"
In the middle of this whirlwind of confusion, Killer Bee shot Naruto a thumbs-up, nodding enthusiastically. "All this talk's real neat, yo, but we gotta fight the masked man, so let's go!"
Gai, finally standing tall and looking like he'd cracked some secret code, nodded with righteous fervor. "I don't understand much of what you're saying, Lady Kushina—"
Naruto cringed so hard her soul nearly left her body.
"—but if you have the Nine-Tails, we protect you! Right?"
Naruto facepalmed, a long-suffering groan slipping from her lips. "You people are going to give me a permanent headache…"
Bee kept nodding, spinning Samehada in one hand and striking a pose. "Let's get down to it, beat this dude, and do it right, yo!"
The masked man, still glaring with that iconic sinister one-eyed look, raised his arms, his voice edged with frustration. "Enough of this nonsense. I don't care who you are, 'Kushina' or 'Naruto' or whatever, I am getting that Nine-Tails—NOW!"
With a final, resounding shout, he summoned the Jinchuriki and everything erupted into chaos.

The battlefield shifted in an instant, the air thick with tension and alive with the unholy groans of splintering wood. A dreadful rumble rolled across the land as the ground quaked violently, the tremors so intense they seemed to tear at the planet itself. Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence erupted into life with all the fury of nature unleashed.
Towering, gnarled trees, their roots as thick as castle walls, burst from the earth, racing skyward at an unnatural speed. Their jagged branches clawed at the heavens, creating an interwoven canopy that seemed to swallow the light itself. Shadows stretched and danced across the battlefield, plunging it into a dim, foreboding twilight that reeked of doom. The sheer scale of the technique was enough to make even the most battle-hardened shinobi falter.
Naruto's clone stumbled back, her sandals skidding against the loose gravel as she struggled to maintain her footing. Her sapphire eyes widened, reflecting the grotesque forest as it consumed everything in its path. Sweat beaded on her pale forehead, trailing down her cheeks, but she didn't bother to wipe it away. This wasn't the time for fear. It was the time for action.
This power... it's impossible, she thought, her fists clenching so tightly her nails dug into her palms. Every instinct screamed at her to retreat, to regroup and come back with a better plan. But she shoved the thought aside.
"Not now. Not ever," she muttered under her breath.
Her fingers snapped into a cross-shaped seal, her voice ringing out with unyielding determination. "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
A thunderous POOF shattered the eerie silence, and in an instant, the battlefield was teeming with crimson-haired warriors. Hundreds of Narutos stood ready, each identical to the original, their expressions resolute. They filled the fractured landscape like an army of vengeful ghosts, determined to stand against the impossible.
From the towering stone spire in the distance, Madara Uchiha watched the scene unfold. His crimson Rinnegan gleamed with sinister amusement, the intricate tomoe within spinning lazily as if mocking the effort. Beside him stood Mū, silent and lifeless, a mere puppet controlled by Kabuto's will.
"For a mere shadow clone," Madara mused, his deep voice carrying across the battlefield like a cold wind, "she displays chakra reserves that surpass even the Kages. Truly monstrous. But still…" He smirked, the corner of his mouth curling into something dark and malicious.
"Sage Art: Wind Style: Massive Rasengan Barrage Line!" Naruto's voice cut through the heavy air, defiant and fierce.
Before Madara could finish his sentence, the clones surged forward in perfect unison. Each one formed a colossal Rasengan, crackling with Wind chakra so sharp it seemed to sing against the air. The sound was deafening, like a storm given voice.
The clones charged into the monstrous forest, their Rasengans tearing through the advancing trees with ruthless efficiency. Wood splintered and shattered, the air filled with the cacophony of destruction. Branches the size of mountains were reduced to nothing more than splinters, and the battlefield was awash with the eerie light of swirling chakra.
Madara's smirk deepened, his eyes glinting with something akin to admiration. "Impressive," he murmured, almost to himself.
The clones vanished in a collective puff of smoke as Naruto dispelled them, her chest heaving as she struggled to catch her breath. Her glowing sapphire eyes locked onto Madara, defiance burning in their depths. "You... bastard," she spat, her voice dripping with venom.
Madara, utterly unperturbed, decided it was time to up the stakes. His hand rose lazily, and his Rinnegan flared with an ominous light. "Universal Pull," he intoned, his voice calm yet commanding.
The air itself seemed to twist, bending to his will. An invisible force seized Naruto, yanking her off the ground with brutal force. She flailed for a moment, then hurtled through the air toward Madara, drawn as if by an unrelenting magnet.
"Naruto!" Gaara's voice rang out, filled with urgency. His sands responded instantly, surging upward like a living shield. They coiled around Naruto, anchoring her in mid-air. But the pull was relentless, the force dragging her closer and closer to her adversary.
The shinobi below could only watch in horror, their voices caught in their throats. How could anyone fight against power like this?
Madara's smirk widened, his tone laced with mockery. "What will you do now, Uzumaki?"
Naruto's eyes narrowed, her resolve hardening. With a sharp breath, she formed a single hand sign. "Flying Thunder God!"
In a flash, a streak of yellow and red lightning blazed across the battlefield, blinding in its speed. Madara's smirk faltered as he tilted his head just in time, narrowly avoiding the Rasengan aimed directly at his head. The sphere of spiraling chakra missed by mere inches, but the next thing he noticed was the absence of his right hand.
He glanced at the bleeding stump, then back at Naruto, who stood a few feet away, bruised but unyielding. She tossed his severed hand to the ground, her lips curling into a wry grin.
"Not bad for a shadow clone, huh?" she quipped, her voice steady despite the bruises forming on her arms.
Madara chuckled, the sound low and menacing. "Remarkable. Not since Tobirama have I seen such craftiness." His hand regenerated as he spoke, the process unnervingly fast. "But let's see if you can handle this."
Onoki and Gaara froze as Madara formed a new seal, his gaze lifting toward the heavens. Naruto followed his line of sight, her heart sinking as she saw the clouds parting.
"No… no, dattebane…" she whispered, her voice barely audible over the rising wind.
Madara's voice boomed across the battlefield, cold and commanding. "Shattering Heavens!"
The sky tore apart, revealing a meteor so massive it seemed to blot out the sun. It hurtled toward the battlefield with terrifying speed, its descent heralded by a deafening roar.
Panic rippled through the shinobi ranks as they scattered in all directions, Onoki's voice rising above the chaos. "Run!"
But the meteor's shadow loomed ever closer, its sheer size and speed making escape impossible. Gaara's sands surged upward, forming colossal hands to intercept the falling rock. Onoki joined him, flying to the meteor's peak and using his Dust Release to lighten its enormous weight. Together, they slowed its descent, the ground trembling beneath their combined effort.
A moment passed. Then another. The meteor stopped.
The shinobi erupted into cheers, relief washing over them like a wave.
But Madara's laughter cut through their celebration, chilling and cruel. "What about the second one?"
Another meteor split the sky, crashing into the first. The combined force overwhelmed Gaara and Onoki, their defenses crumbling as the meteors hurtled toward the earth.
Naruto's voice rang out, clear and commanding. "Sage Art: Sealing Style: Gravity Nullification!"
The meteors hit the ground… and bounced. Yes, they bounced—like massive, harmless toy balls. The battlefield didn't even shake and no lives were lost. Naruto kicked one meteor with all her strength, sending it flying into the other. Both rocks shot upward, vanishing into the heavens, never to return.
The Shinobi stared at the balls until they vanished from their eye range. Then, they cheered.
"Yeah! Naruto!"
"Our Tensei! Our Angel!"
"Go Naruto!"
"Marry me, Naruto-chan!"
Naruto blinked before yelling. "Shut the hell up or else next thing I'll be kicking wii be your balls, dattebane!"
Madara stared at her, his expression unreadable. For the first time, he was at a loss for words. This girl… he thought. Her power, her ingenuity, her sheer will—she was better than Hashirama Senju when he was of that age. No doubt, given time, she'll surpass them all.
He chuckled ominously, the sound sending shivers down the spines of everyone present.
But before he could speak, three figures appeared—Kages, their expressions grim. They argued about something and then, they exchanged brief words with Naruto. Reluctantly, she nodded.
"Oi, Zombidara! This isn't over and if you stay alive… or whatever, I'll kick your butt, dattebane!" With that, she disappeared.
Madara's smirk faded, replaced by a look of irritation. "She was a worthy opponent," he muttered, his voice tinged with disappointment. "But she was just a clone, anyways. I can't wait to meet the real one."
He turned his gaze to the remaining Kages. "Well then," he said, his voice cold and sharp. "Show me if you're worthy of your titles."
With a flick of his hand, his Susanoo roared to life, its enormous form looming over the battlefield. The real battle was just beginning.
