It's with a tired yawn that Jujutsu High's resident Ten shadows holder and first-year Fushiguro Megumi makes his way back from taking out a grade 2.
His spiked hair flounces with each step as he mentally curses Gojo-sensei for assigning him the damned thing in the first place. He had used more energy than he would like and it didn't help that the curse got a good hit in. His ribs are still throbbing from the swipe. In all honesty, all Megumi wants to do is take a hot shower and just collapse onto his bed.
"Megumi!" Speak of the devil and shall he come.
"Meguuumii!…" The eccentric yelling of his sensei makes his tired eyes twitch the redness seeming to intensify with every step Gojo takes. He shouldn't be surprised that the man decided to torment his exhausted mind.
The sadist feeds off others' discomfort.
He simply continues making his way back to his dorm room, ignoring his teacher who whines behind him, "Megumi, don't ignore me!"
"Look, I got myself a present during my vac- I mean a very important mission." That makes him scoff, the freak of nature probably went on a sugar binge.
"See, look! Seriously, all you need to do is look." The older man insists with an unhinged cackle and mischievous aura as he steps in line with Megumi's sluggish gait.
Deciding it's best to humor Gojo instead of fighting the inevitable, he turns to look at his sensei expecting to see him gleefully holding an armful of sweets he'll hoard for the ten minutes they last in his presence, only to stumble over his foot.
Instead of a bundle of sweets, his sensei has a man draped over his arms. It's the casual way his teacher is holding the stranger like a princess. The guy's face is even tucked safely in Gojo's neck like a lover.
"The fuck?" His mind is too tired to comprehend the situation before him. Shaking his head he increases his pace not feeling like dealing with this shit right now.
"I'm out." He says not caring or affected by the pouting monster of a man. Who is disappointed at his lackluster reaction?
Satoru looks down at his conked-out smaller man with a huff, "You appreciate me don't you?" He asks with an insanely adoring look. To the outsider, it would be strange to stumble upon a tall blindfolded man standing in a hallway holding a smaller man.
Gojo himself vibrates with a giddiness he hasn't felt in a while since the world started to bleed into a mundane cycle.
He continues to grin down at his new enigma, who remains oblivious to the apex of the apex predators peering down at him with a newfound sense of wonder. Graciously deciding to give his little protégé a break, seeing how exhausted Megumi-chan Satoru calls down for him to 'sleep tight, and don't let the bedbugs bite' his sing-song tone making Megumi flip him off.
"Humph," he pouts.
And Ieiri said Gojo can't be merciful.

Satoru shifts the haze of the light sleep he had been in fading as he was woken by his enigma's energy fluctuating indicating that he is waking up.
Lifting his head off his palm he winces at the soreness from sleeping so long in the awkward position he fell asleep in and wincing at the numbness. Letting out an obnoxious yawn he stretches in the chair like a cat. Satoru allows the numbness to fade with a simple twist of reverse cursed energy. He lets his arms drop before standing up, feeling and hearing his knees pop from the movement. He absently grabs the bottle of water he had been sipping on and without a thought he uses his infinity to manipulate the water, chillin' it by slowing down the particles until they just about freeze into a solid.
"You put on quite the show there." His tone is juvenile and disarming as he gently instructs the other to lift his head before pressing the cool plastic against the man's eager mouth to see the cold water. His eyes were soft and amused behind the sunglasses he switched to, not wanting to startle his precious enigma who was still adjusting to waking up.
He's still debating on whether to keep a low profile with this or make it impossible to cover it up by making a big spectacle. He doesn't put it past the old croaks to pull something shady when his little gem is presented into society, for they will have to integrate somehow.
That is one of the reasons he even showed up in front of Megumi, who is family to him, if not his son in all but blood, was to test the waters on how others react to his strange enigma's presence. The few civilians he tested with had given him a look of befuddlement and concern when he strolled past them confirming that they could see him, so he's more than a curse.
Seeing the other shifting a wake he reaches towards the counter on the other side of the room curling his finger he tugs the bottle back to him with a burst of his infinity, while making his way to the man in question. He lifts his glasses propping them atop his head as he leans closer with a smile creeping across his face as the other starts to blink and flutter their eyes. His companions' kaleidoscope of energy swirls with fluorescence of emotions as the other awakens from his impromptu slumber.
Gojo, who doesn't have a single social cue in his body, continues to watch the other with a startling intensity as he collects himself, their faces merely centimeters apart.
"I, what th-" the other starts, his head lifting in a panic, and would have slammed into Gojo's had he not had his infinity active.
Gojo watches in awe as thousands of what could only be described as butterfly-like lights start trickling into the room coming from the other's body as he starts to panic. His infinity both conceals the room and protects him from the potential danger they pose, too enthralled to care.
"Hi," he says, smiling as his infinity makes the others' attempts at sitting up futile.
"Um…hello?" His confuddled gem responds. His eyes dart around as he takes in his surroundings, at the same time Gojo leans back and allows the other to spring up into a sitting position.
Seeing the others' confusion, he leans against the desk next to the bed giving the younger man, what he hopes is a comforting smile, while keeping his voice placating, "Calm down, calm down. I'm not gonna hurt you.." he says as if talking to a wild animal.
The other nods still looking out of it as he leans on one of his arms to steady himself, he looks up from beneath his bangs with such a pitiful look that Gojo feels his godly heart bleed at the dazed and frightened look.
"Where am I?"
"what's happening?" They ask their voice to be accented with fear as they take in the starlight-like beings glittering around.
"That's what I'd like to know," he muses.
"I'll explain all I can, but first you're going to have to calm down. You will faint if you keep this up." He tells him with a seriousness that belays his usual banter, watching as the others' already depleted energy drains further.
"Calm down!? What the hell do you mean calm down?"
"And what's with you saying that I'm doing this!" The other screams waving their hand around to indicate the whole room.
Gojo notices as a flock of lights sweep across the room synced with the other man's hand movement, 'interesting.' He thinks, before tuning in as the other starts to rant.
"What the hell!?" The man breathes. Gojo lets the other vent through his emotions for a moment, fully trusting his ability to contain anything within his infinity. The other clinches his hands into a fist looking up at Gojo with a look of frustration.
"I don't know what is happening, I just remember sleeping in bed and then lots of pressure."
Satoru can see tears rimming his eyes as he gets more frustrated, "Now I'm here and there are these strange things floating and I can feel everything and it's just too much!" That's the last thing Satoru allows the other to get out before quickly pressing his finger onto his forehead gently forcing him into slumber then guiding his prone form back under the covers.
"Well, that was a bust." he humph's.
Feeling pressure on his infinity Gojo pauses and turns, if not for his infinity thousands of particles would have pierced him on instinct.
"Aren't you interesting," he muses, pressing his open palm against the film of lights feeling the particles eat away at his infinity before fizzling out of existence as the other succumbs to slumber.
Gojo is about halfway down the hall before he pauses in realization, "I didn't even get his name," before he shrugs and continues on.
"Oh well, sparkles it will be."
A/n:
I'm still learning the world of JJK and how the verse operates so bear with me. I hope I can capture their personalities. They are all so well developed.
I'm still figuring out the direction I want to go so it may feel a little slow for a minute.
